Fatal Austin Metcalf stabbing caught on surveillance tape — but Texas school district won’t publicly release video

Amid an ongoing investigation over the fatal stabbing of high school student Austin Metcalf at a Frisco, Texas, track meet, the school district announced it has surveillance footage of the stabbing.

The Frisco Independent School District confirmed to Fox News Digital that it possesses surveillance footage of the April 2 incident at Kuykendall Stadium but will not be publicly releasing the video.

The fatal altercation between 17-year-old Metcalf of Memorial High School and allegedly 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, a student at Frisco Centennial High School, unfolded during a rain delay on April 2 at the district track and field championship.

Anthony is facing first-degree murder charges.

Authorities say that Anthony fatally stabbed Metcalf in the chest. Though the two students reportedly had no prior relationship, a brief altercation escalated quickly.

An arrest report obtained by Fox News sheds new light on the pre-stabbing clash after Metcalf reportedly told Anthony that he needed to move out of the Memorial team’s tent, a witness told Frisco police.

The report noted that Anthony “grabbed his bag, opened it and reached inside it” and said, “Touch me and see what happens.”

“Austin stood up and pushed the male to get him out of the tent,” the arrest report said.

The witness told police that Anthony then “reached into his bag and the male took a knife out of the bag and stabbed Austin,” per the report.

Is Nikole Hannah-Jones’s 1619 Project Grift Drying Up?

Nikole Hannah-Jones, who stated that it would be an “honor” to have the riots in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death named after her 1619 Project, and who has earned millions of dollars from taxpayers since then, seems to be angry that the cash cow is giving less and less milk.

Hannah-Jones, who is easily triggered by any challenge to her fabulist narrative about the “slavocracy” that she claims is this country, was further angered after states began passing legislation forbidding the use of curriculum materials based on the 1619 Project (and the Critical Race Theory which “informs” it). Charging Republicans with “whitewashing history,” she tried to get the left “mad enough” to organize by warning them about the “dark and scary times.”

Her rage has only grown since the 2024 election. Hannah-Jones has been accusing President Trump of “erasing black history” — a laughable charge, given that Hannah-Jones knowingly distorts history in The 1619 Project and spin-off products, such as her picture book, where she asserts that “mommies” and “daddies” were “kidnapped” from Africa by white men.

Plus, President Trump has not been good for her (designer) pocketbook. The gigs that funded a lavish lifestyle seem to be fewer in number and flatlining at the fee she was earning back in 2020, the year after The 1619 Project first came out as a special issue of the New York Times Magazine. As I recounted in my book, Debunking The 1619 Project, given that Hannah-Jones was speaking an average of once every two weeks at public universities and earning $25,000 per appearance (often remotely due to Covid), her earnings from taxpayers amounted to about $650,000 in 2020.

Additionally, the Pulitzer Prize-winner was speaking at public libraries, events funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, educational organizations, and commemorations like Juneteenth, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, and the 1921 Tulsa “massacre.” In January 2022, she made $55,000 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This is not to mention her salary at The New York Times (a largely no-show job) then also as professor (Knight Chair of Race and Journalism) at Howard University beginning in 2021, and royalties and fees from the 1619 Project hardcover books, films, and other spin-off products.

Her gig as commencement speaker was interrupted this year, however, by “new federal pressures” that prompted Harvard University, and other institutions, to stop funding and providing facilities for “affinity” graduations for groups based on such aspects as race, ethnicity, and disability.

Hannah-Jones was a commencement speaker, but not at her usual center-stage space. She addressed black graduates in a conference room of the Marriot Hotel in Cambridge (the location apparently not revealed publicly until after the May 27 ceremony, which was organized by black Harvard undergraduates and alumni).

According to Harvard Magazine, Hannah-Jones noted that the graduating class had “entered college in the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder by a police officer, during a ‘so-called racial reckoning.’” They had witnessed the reversal of promises to confront “legacies of racism,” including the laying off of “the team behind the Harvard Slavery Remembrance program” (the work outsourced to an outside company) and the renaming of the diversity office to the Office for Community and Campus Life. (We should take note of such strategies.)

Hannah-Jones inspired graduates with the accusation, “The same administration that has been cast as heroic for standing up to Trump over academic freedom caved almost immediately on issues of diversity and inclusion, and in doing so — in not standing up for y’all — it didn’t do one thing to stop Trump’s attacks on this university.”

“They gave you up for cheap,” she charged. “And I hope one day you will make them pay for that.”

The Left Is Alienating Its Minority Base

Not long ago Susan Rice, the former top official in the Obama administration, was removed from the Defense Policy Board. That’s a group of grandees that advise the Defense Department. They’re political appointments. And traditionally, when a new president comes in, they get rid of most of the prior Defense Policy Board because they feel they’re partisans.

And in the case of Susan Rice, she was appointed in a late appointment by then-President Joe Biden, who pretty much wiped out all of the Trump appointments. So, her dismissal by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was not unusual.

And yet, she fired back at him and said he was dumb as a rock and ultra-MAGA. But what was interesting, she said, “white male, cisgender.” In other words, she attacked his race. And she said her administration would’ve fired him for the Signal chat scandal. But of course, she was the one that came out on Sunday talk shows and lied five times about the disaster in Benghazi, among other things later in her career. But why inject race into it?

At almost the same period, we had a number of Afrikaners—I should say a very small number, about 60 people—asked for refugee status, felt they had been endangered by black-on-white violence, which is demonstrable and beyond controversy in South Africa. And President Donald Trump allowed them to come in as refugees. And of course, during the prior administration, thousands of people came in as refugees. But because, apparently, they were white, this caused a storm of criticism.

Civil rights watchdog threatens to sue USDA for continuing to discriminate against white farmers

Acivil rights watchdog has threatened to sue the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for continuing to discriminate against white farmers despite the new secretary rescinding some of the agency’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives a

The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) said it might take legal action against USDA Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins over the matter as new whistleblower allegations come to light

According to the Washington Examinerwhistleblowers have accused the agency of providing loan relief under former President Joe Biden based on race.

“We appreciate the Trump Administration’s strong stance against DEI, but Secretary Rollins must take the discrimination at USDA much more seriously,” WILL’s managing vice president and deputy counsel Dan Lennington said in a statement. “If she doesn’t, we will hold her accountable very soon in federal court. She has received fair warning from WILL and Congress.”

NAACP Accuses Musk Of Endangering Black Communities With Supercomputer Fumes

The NAACP is demanding Memphis officials shut down Elon Musk’s xAI supercomputer facility, claiming the world’s largest AI training center violates clean air laws and threatens the health of nearby black residents.

The civil rights organization sent a letter Thursday to the Shelby County Health Department and Memphis Light, Gas and Water officials, alleging xAI has operated up to 35 gas turbines without proper permits for over a year at its Colossus facility in South Memphis. The turbines power the supercomputer that trains Musk’s Grok AI chatbot, which they claim emits excessive hazardous pollutants.

“We are urging you again to ensure that xAI stops operating its unpermitted turbines in violations of clean air and open meeting act laws and to order xAI to pay penalties for operating in violation of the law,” the letter states. “The message that [Shelby County Health Department] and [Memphis Light, Gas and Water] have sent to the community is that billionaires matter more than the tax payers and residents who live there.”

Musk has said the data center — called “Colossus” — will be the first gigawatt-scale AI training facility in the world. It powers Grok, the chatbot xAI is positioning to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and others.

But the NAACP says the operation is  “illegal,” citing emissions estimates of up to 2,000 tons of nitrogen oxide per year from the turbines and invoking the Clean Air Act’s “New Source Review” rule. They argue xAI’s decision to split the turbines into smaller groups is a deliberate strategy to “sidestep the law.”

USDA Whistleblower Says Biden Regime Secretly Crushed White Farmers by Only Paying Off Farmer Loans if They Were Not White Males

A whistleblower from the Department of Agriculture told NewsNation that the Biden Administration loan relief program purposely hurt White farmers.

The Biden Regime, through the ‘American Rescue Act’ used $800 million in taxpayer money to secretly give loan forgiveness to minority farmers.

“It’s not right,” the USDA whistleblower told NewsNation. “It was discriminatory. Unethical. And the people who pushed it are still in charge of the agency … (those) at the national office. Trump hasn’t gotten rid of them.”

“So just to be clear, if you were American Indian, Alaskan, Native, Asian, Black, African American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, Hispanic, or Latino and you were in that group and you were told you didn’t have to pay your bills?” NewsNation asked the whistleblower.

The whistleblower said, according to the American Rescue Plan, the relief was offered up to 120% loan to value which means the farmers could claim they were upside down to get even more cash!

“Essentially, yes, that’s correct. And that your loan would be forgiven up to 120% of the loan value,” the whistleblower said.

DC shooter Elias Rodriguez called for ‘genocide of white people’ in leaked text messages: report

Elias Rodriguez, the man recently accused of killing two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, DC, called for the “genocide of white people,” according to leaked text messages obtained by journalist Ken Klippenstein, which revealed the shooter’s disturbing obsession with this particular demographic.

Additionally, witness testimony and additional messages demonstrated that Rodriguez held an animosity toward Israel and supported Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization. The communications provide a more comprehensive understanding of the alleged cold-blooded killer’s political ideologies and long-standing convictions.

“Lol you probably would have to actually genocide white people to make this a normal country,” Rodriguez wrote to his friends, according to the report.

“Like even a very targeted and selective rehabilitation program would probably have to lead to the lifetime imprisonments of tens of millions of white people,” Rodriguez added.

Further allegations made by his friends suggest that while Rodriguez had allegedly never expressed disdain towards Jewish people, he had a severe hatred of Israel. “He never, ever said anything remotely racist about Jews or anyone,” a friend told Klippenstein.

A friend added that Rodriguez was “a big proponent of the ’emerging resistance axis’ of Russia, Iran, Hezbollah, Assad’s Syria.” The accused also referred to Israel as “The Little Satan,” and “seemed pretty vocally in favor of Hamas for years – way before 2023,” according to his friends.

Following the deaths of two Hamas leaders, Hassan Nasrallah and Yahya Sinwar, who were killed by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) during Israel’s war against Hamas, Rodriguez wrote in a message: “Honestly i’m still just feeling sad about the murder of hassan nasrallah. It hurts when people are killed specifically for doing what’s right, when so many are afraid to.”

Additionally, Rodriguez said he was saddened by the killing of Sinwar, the former chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, who helped construct the October 2023 terror attack on Israel, according to the report.

DEI update: black women plagiarize at ‘astronomically higher rates’ than other groups…

DEI has always been a scam, and the receipts keep piling up. For years, the academic world has pretended that DEI hires represent some amazing new standard of excellence. But thanks to the tireless work of reporters like Chris Rufo, that illusion is crumbling under the weight of plagiarized dissertations, stolen passages, and fraudulent credentials.

Yes, it’s starting to crumble, but DEI was built on decades of solid left-wing foundation. To say it’s magically gone because of one Supreme Court ruling is a fairy tale. The rot is still very much alive.

Revolver:

Further down the prestige ladder, at public colleges in Republican-controlled states, a similar shift is taking place. In these states, the push is coming from Republican lawmakers, who have belatedly recognized that DEI is a hiring program for people who hate them. In some states, lawmakers have ordered universities to abolish diversity statements, but the most on-the-ball initiatives have made sure to actually fire DEI staffers and shut down their departments. At the University of Texas-Austin, forty people lost their jobs after the school’s DEI office got the axe. At the University of Florida, officials fired 13 administrators in response to a DEI ban.

The signs are all promising, to say the least. But a crucial question remains: Will all of this work?

We can hope, of course. Harvard and MIT are both trendsetters for the schools just below them on the prestige ladder. Odds are good that, at least at America’s top schools and any public college in a red state, much-hated “diversity statements” will soon be a thing of the past.

But don’t get too thrilled just yet. Abolishing diversity statements is not the same thing as abolishing the diversity cult itself. The situation in academia is improving in some respects, but for now it remains a matter of tiny marginal improvements to a vast, utterly rotten edifice. The state of affairs in academia today is such that broad swathes of entire disciplines—not just fake DEI disciplines—have become utterly corroded by DEI.

The triumphalism over vanishing diversity statements operates on the assumption that said statements are a primary driver of anti-white and anti-male discrimination in academia. In reality, though, these statements are simply the product of a DEI-obsessed culture that exists on a deeper level. Mandatory statements during the hiring process make it easier and smoother to reject white male applicants, but the intent to reject them as often as possible was there long before. This discriminatory intent means that DEI (or woke, or race communist, pick your term of choice) priorities now pervade almost every aspect of the academic sausage-making process—to a degree that would shock most Americans. Unless this process is reformed (or, more likely, torn out at the root and replaced), universities will continue their downward spiral toward useless mediocrity.

You can read the entire piece here:

The Secret George Floyd Effect: DEI Rot in Universities Is Deeper and Darker Than You Imagine

But Rufo’s latest piece reveals a very disturbing trend.

His research shows black women in academia, particularly in DEI-related fields, are plagiarizing at rates way higher than other groups. It’s not a theory. It’s his data. And it confirms what many already suspected: the DEI machine isn’t just lowering standards; it’s erasing them completely.

Pigford, Again: Biden’s USDA Allegedly Excluded White Farmers from Loan Forgiveness

The Biden administration allegedly discriminated against white farmers in loan forgiveness, according to a whistleblower — a repeat of the Pigford scandal of 2010, with Tom Vilsack again in charge of USDA.

The Pigford scandal was exposed by Breitbart News founder Andrew Breitbart, who noted that left-wing organizers had exploited the real grievances of black farmers to conduct a covert “reparations” program.

The original Pigford settlement was reached by the Clinton administration. In 2008, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama used the promise of wider compensation to woo rural South Carolina voters.

That promise, Breitbart alleged, was key to Obama’s insurgent win against party favorite Hillary Clinton.

Though Breitbart struggled to force the mainstream media to pay attention, the New York Times eventually vindicated his investigative reporting, a year after his death, showing how Pigford became a massive fraud:

[T]he Obama administration’s political appointees at the Justice and Agriculture Departments engineered a stunning turnabout: they committed $1.33 billion to compensate not just the 91 plaintiffs but thousands of Hispanic and female farmers who had never claimed bias in court.

From the start, the claims process prompted allegations of widespread fraud and criticism that its very design encouraged people to lie: because relatively few records remained to verify accusations, claimants were not required to present documentary evidence that they had been unfairly treated or had even tried to farm. Agriculture Department reviewers found reams of suspicious claims, from nursery-school-age children and pockets of urban dwellers, sometimes in the same handwriting with nearly identical accounts of discrimination.

The groups found a champion in the new agriculture secretary, Tom Vilsack. New settlements would provide “a way to neutralize the argument that the government favors black farmers over Hispanic, Native American or women farmers,” an internal department memorandum stated in March 2010.

Now, another whistleblower has come forward to accuse the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) of racially discriminatory fraud once again.
