Cop Who Avoided Jail After Killing 6-Month-Old Baby, Arrested Again… For Biting a Toddler

Former Fairfield County Police Department officer Jason Michael Colley, who escaped jail time for the 2017 death of his infant daughter due to a lenient plea deal, has once again been charged with child abuse. After finally coming to terms with the fact that this man is a threat to children, a Maryland judge recently denied bail on these new charges.

As The Free Thought Project initially reported in 2018, Colley was indicted on charges of first-degree child abuse resulting in death, first-degree child abuse causing severe physical injury, and first-degree assault following the death of his 6-month-old daughter, Harper Colley. Authorities were alerted to the infant’s injuries on September 17, 2017, and she tragically succumbed several weeks later due to “abusive head trauma.”

Frederick County’s State’s Attorney Charles Smith explained that “Abusive head trauma can detail slamming a baby down on the ground, slamming a baby on maybe a table or against a wall, something along those lines.” Smith highlighted that in Harper’s case, there was “severe brain bleeding…with that, taken together with his conflicting statements, we felt we had proof beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Despite maintaining his innocence, Colley conceded to the state’s evidence and entered an Alford plea. Consequently, he was handed a reduced 50-year sentence, with all but eight years suspended. In August 2022, Frederick County Circuit Judge Julia A. Martz-Fisher permitted Colley to serve his time on private house arrest, plus five years of supervised release — a deal fit for an Epstein.

Traffic cop sues city over ‘get-out-of-jail-free’ cards for NYPD friends and family

Mathew Bianchi became a Staten Island traffic cop in 2017, two years after joining the New York police department, assigned to enforcing traffic violations and issuing tickets. In the first two years on that beat, he received stellar performance evaluations.

But in November 2018 – a year into his career in the traffic unit – Bianchi issued a ticket to a civilian who held a New York City police department laminated courtesy card, an unofficial credential issued to NYPD officers based on their union affiliation that can then be distributed to family members and friends to carry with them.

What happened next is the subject of a lawsuit against the city and a police captain. According to Bianchi, who is Cuban-American, courtesy cards are used to maintain a system of impunity – a “get-of-jail-free card” for families and friends of NYPD officers to avoid traffic tickets, a growing source of revenue for the city.

Bianchi claims his superiors retaliated against him for his stance against the “corrupt” cards after he was warned by an official with the Police Benevolent Association, New York City’s largest police union, that he would not be protected by his union if he wrote tickets for people with cards. And if he continued, he’d be reassigned.

In some instances, the complaint said, Bianchi was reprimanded for writing a ticket to a relative or parent of an officer; in others, his commanding officer reviewed body-camera footage to see if he was giving motorists with cards a “hard time”.

“I see card after card. You’re not allowed to write any of them [up],” he told the Associated Press. “We’re not supposed to be showing favoritism when we do car stops, and we shouldn’t be giving them out because the guy mows my lawn.”

Bianchi told his precinct commander that he did not agree with the courtesy card policy and claims he was told: “Is it better to be right or better to be on patrol?” The lawsuit cites several instances where his NYPD colleagues complained about his ticket-writing, including on Facebook.

Liberal Celebrity Chef Exempt From Gas Stove Ban, California City Says

A California city will make an exception to its natural gas ban for world-famous chef José Andrés, after the landlords for the chef’s planned restaurant warned Andrés may pull out over the regulation.

After the owners of the mall where Andrés is set to open the restaurant threatened to sue the city, Palo Alto administrators will allow Andrés’s Mediterranean restaurant Zaytinya to use natural gas lines, despite a new law this year that bans them in construction.

The restaurant relies on “traditional cooking methods that require gas appliances to achieve its signature, complex flavors,” said Anna Shimko, a lawyer representing the group that owns the shopping center where Andrés leased space for the project.

The lawyer argued the building’s plans were approved in 2019, years before the gas ban was imposed. She added that some of the appliances the restaurant staff needs “do not have electrically powered equivalents.” Shimko added that if the ban is enforced, “Zaytinya will likely choose not to locate within the city.”

The city in a Tuesday statement called the decision a “one-off” exception and a “unique” situation.

“Due to the years-long planning effort which started in 2019, three years before the City adopted the all-electric requirement, the City and the Mall have agreed that this one project should be able to proceed with gas service consistent with the long-established project plans,” the city said.

Andrés is a renowned chef who has earned Michelin stars and owns restaurants across the United States. He also frequently promotes liberal causes and has been celebrated by Democratic figures. Former president Barack Obama awarded Andrés a medal in 2016 and called him “the quintessential American success story.” Andrés appeared as a guest star on Michelle Obama’s food show for kids on Netflix.

Arab billionaire’s son admits to murder of 23-year-old student, writes it off as a ‘sex accident.’ Won’t return to UK to face justice because he ‘doesn’t like the weather’

23-year-old Martine Vik Magnussen was raped and murdered in 2008. Her body was found under debris and garbage in a London basement. Her Yemeni killer managed to elude police and avoid addressing his guilt until slipping up recently in an interview with the BBC.

Farouk Abdulhak, the playboy son of an Arab billionaire who fled the United Kingdom to Yemen, admitted to killing the student, writing off her tragic rape and murder as “just a sex accident gone wrong.”

Despite this admission of guilt, Abdulhak has made it clear he has no intention of returning to the U.K. to face justice, in part because he is not a fan of the weather.

The murder and getaway

Magnussen, a Norwegian student, was last seen alive on March 14, 2008. She had gone out to celebrate having aced an exam at Regent’s Business School. Between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., she was seen getting into a taxi with fellow student and friend Farouk Abdulhak, reported the Guardian.

One of the victim’s friends suggested the victim and her killer had a platonic relationship and that she had rebuked him in a prior instance where he had attempted to kiss her.

Magnussen’s friends later noted that Abdulhak got angry that evening whenever anybody attempted to take a picture of him and his future victim together, reported the BBC.

Two days later, police found her naked body dumped in the basement of a central London flat where the unrepentant rapist had been living. Abdulhak had reportedly made a “token attempt” to disguise Magnussen’s corpse.

The Guardian noted that Magnussen’s body showed signs she had put up a significant fight against her rapist. She had suffered 43 cuts and grazes, “many of them typical of assault type injuries or those received in a struggle.”

Abdulhak erased his Facebook profile and boarded a March 14 flight to Cairo. A Yemeni national, he then returned to his homeland on his father’s private jet.

Barack Obama’s Secret Service SUV parked in handicapped space for TWO HOURS while he enjoyed dinner with daughters Sasha and Malia at swanky LA sushi restaurant

Former President Barack Obama‘s Secret Service SUV was spotted parked in a handicapped spot for two hours as he dined at a swanky West Los Angeles sushi restaurant with his two daughters.

The black SUV stayed in a spot marked for handicap parking as it waited for the Obamas to finish eating at the pricey Hamasaku restaurant, where eight-piece sushi rolls cost $50 and specialty rolls go for more than $20 each.

The former president was pictured in all white as he stepped out of the restaurant alone while being escorted by secret service agents. His daughters, Malia and Sasha, left separately.

Obama could be seen waving goodbye to the restaurant staffers and turning down their offer of free ice cream dessert before the agents warned them to stand back as they made their exit.

Obama was enjoying dinner with his daughters on Saturday night while former First Lady Michelle was in Seneca Falls, New York, being inducted in the National Women’s Hall of Fame.

The family chose to dine at Hamasaku, a trendy restaurant located on Santa Monica Boulevard, in West LA.

Hamasaku boasts a fusion of traditional Japanese sushi with a taste of California, and features a plethora of dishes containing salmon, lobster, crab, tuna, yellowtail and other tasty sealife.

While the restaurant also has several high-end desserts on the menu, including a berrie cheesecake and sake-filled tiramisu, the former president appeared to have wanted a simple batch of ice cream, which he left without.

Video of Hunter Biden Buying Enough Crack to Put Him in Jail for Years, Proves the Elite are Above the Law

In the ostensible land of the free, there are two sets of justice systems: one for all those within and connected to the system, and one for everyone else. A perfect example of this two tiered system is the fact that people are jailed every day in this country if they are caught with crack cocaine. Currently, over half of the entire federal prison population is doing time for cocaine. However, when the president’s son is seen on video smoking it and even trafficking large amounts of it, he faced no consequences.

Sunday night, yet another damning video of Hunter Biden was released showing him purchasing crack from an alleged prostitute. In the video, Hunter is seen filming himself smoking a cigarette before reversing the camera onto a scale with a white substance, reportedly identified as crack.

Had Hunter been caught with this much crack prior to 2002, he could have gone to jail for over 20 years. In fact, the president himself, and Hunter’s father, Joe Biden spearheaded a law while he was a senator that required crack to be penalized at a rate 100 times more than that of powder cocaine. It was called the “100-1 rule” and it was used to lock countless Black men up for decades, tearing families apart and fueling future fatherless generations for years to come.

Coincidentally, white people were caught more often with the powder form of cocaine while Black people were caught more often with crack and as Ron Paul pointed out after this law was passed, only Black people were going to jail for it despite getting caught with the same amount of cocaine.

Boston’s vaccine mandate will not apply to professional athletes

Boston’s COVID vaccine mandate for indoor venues, set to go into effect on Jan. 15 2022, will not include professional athletes.

The wording of the vaccine mandate allows for “a professional athlete/sports team who enters a covered premises as part of their regular employment for purposes of competing” to not be vaccinated. It will apply to both resident and visiting athletes.

According to the Boston Globe, right now, people 12 years old and older need to show either a recent negative COVID test or an up-to-date vaccine card in order to gain access to the TD Garden.

After the Jan. 15 2022 deadline, the option for the negative test will no longer exist, and all people wishing to enter the premises will have to show proof of vaccination.

The new vaccine mandate was revealed on Monday by Michelle Wu, Boston’s mayor, and, similar to other vaccine mandates worldwide, also applies to many other types of indoor businesses.

Former prep-school student gets off with probation for raping teen girls

A “privileged” upstate New York prep schooler who admitted to raping four teenage girls in his home got off without jail time — getting probation and sparking outrage.

Christopher Belter, 20, faced eight years in prison after pleading guilty in the 2018 assaults of girls as young as 15 when he went before Niagara County Judge Matthew Murphy Tuesday — but only got a slap on the wrist.

The sentence — eight years of probation — infuriated Belter’s victims.

“I am deeply, deeply disappointed,” Steve Cohen, an attorney for one of the victims, told WKBW-TV. “I expected a different outcome today. Justice was not done today.”

“He is privileged,” Cohen added. “He comes from money. He is white. He was sentenced as an adult, appropriately. For an adult to get away with these crimes is unjust.”

Health Authorities Claim “Performers” (Rich & Famous) Are Exempt From Mask Rules

The LA County Department of Public Health responded to criticism of the maskless Emmys by claiming the rules didn’t apply because it was a television production event – despite the fact that workers were still made to wear masks.

There was uproar on Sunday as celebrities packed themselves into the Event Deck at LA Live without a mask amongst them as they kissed and hugged all night long.

Irate respondents on Twitter asked why celebrities were exempt from the rules yet their 4-year-old kids had to wear masks in class.

Under Los Angeles County’s Department of Health guidelines, everyone aged two years and older must wear a face covering in “all indoor public settings, venues, gatherings, and public and private businesses.”

However, after it was asserted that the rules don’t appear to apply to the rich and famous, the department was forced to respond.

“LA County Department of Public Health tells me that the mask-less Emmys were not in violation of the county’s mask mandate because “exceptions are made for film, television, and music productions” since “additional safety modifications” are made for such events,” tweeted CNN’s Oliver Darcy.

So apparently, so long as you’re making a television production, COVID-19 recognizes that fact and doesn’t show up for the night, much like it disappears as soon as people sit down to eat at a restaurant, but not while they walk to the table.

Health authorities went further, insisting that the event organizers “exceeded the baseline requirements for television and film productions,” before asserting that the full vaccination of all those present was “one of the most powerful ways to achieve a safe environment” (despite the fully vaccinated being able to pass on the virus).

“The Emmy Award Show is a television production and persons appearing on the show are considered performers,” they added.

So apparently, if you’re a “performer,” or in other words rich and famous, you don’t have to wear a mask.

But if you’re merely a lowly worker drone, you still have to wear a mask, as dozens of staffers were seen doing at the event.
