Who entered Epstein’s jail tier the night of his death? Newly released video logs appear to contradict official accounts.

Newly released Department of Justice documents show that investigators reviewing surveillance footage from the night of Jeffrey Epstein’s death observed an orange-colored shape moving up a staircase toward the isolated, locked tier where his cell was located at approximately 10:39 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2019.

That entry in an observation log of the video from the Metropolitan Correctional Center appears to suggest something previously unreported by authorities: “A flash of orange looks to be going up the L Tier stairs — could possibly be an inmate escorted up to that Tier.”

It also appears, according to an FBI memorandum, that reviews by investigators led to disparate conclusions by the FBI and those examining the same video from the Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General.

The FBI log describes the fuzzy image as “possibly an inmate.”

The inspector general logs it as an officer carrying orange “linen or bedding,” noting it in their final report as “an unidentified [corrections officer].”

The DOJ Office of Inspector General’s analysis of video footage describes a fuzzy orange image on the stairs leading to Epstein’s cell tier as: “it is possible someone is carrying inmate linen or bedding up the stairs.”

California politician’s daughter, 22, was found ‘in distress’ on side of highway before sudden death

The 22-year-old daughter of a Los Angeles mayoral candidate was found alone suffering from a medical emergency on the side of a road before she died.

Emily Beutner, whose father Austin Beutner is running against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, died on January 6, according to LA County Medical Examiner records.

Her cause of death has been listed as ‘deferred’ pending further investigation, but heartbreaking details from the LA Sheriff’s Department (LASD) have emerged about the circumstances leading up to it.

A witness reportedly alerted police of a woman in a ‘state of medical distress’ on the side of a highway in Palmdale just after midnight, per the Los Angeles Times

Deputies and paramedics rushed to the scene to treat Emily. She was then taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

It is unclear how long she remained on the side of the road – which is surrounded by fields – or what the nature of her medical episode was.

LASD homicide detectives are handling this investigation, but Lieutenant Michael Modica told the LA Times that this is not indicative of her cause of death.

Having the homicide unit investigate the death of a young person is standard practice, he said.

New video shows prison guards calmly going about their business just 30 minutes after Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell

New footage released by US authorities shows prison guards calmly going about their business inside the prison where Jeffrey Epstein died just half an hour after he was found.

The paedophile billionaire had been found unresponsive in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York at 6.30am on August 19, 2019, despite being a high profile prisoner who had been on suicide watch.

But the first footage to emerge of the immediate aftermath of his death from inside the jail shows a scene of apparent calm on the floor above Epstein’s cell.

In CCTV released by the Department of Justice (DoJ) as part of what it says will be the final tranche of the ‘Epstein Files’, evidence compiled ahead of his expected trial on sex offences, a drab prison corridor and a large curved guards’ station can be seen.

The scene, filmed at just after 7am, focuses, presumably from a fixed prison camera in the corridor, on the apparently deserted black pillared desk for the first seven minutes.

A hand is then seen coming across the screen from the left of the shot from someone seated behind the desk reaching to answer a phone and possibly press an intercom.

Around 40 seconds later, the male guard in uniform and a baseball cap stands up and begins to move away slowly but soon doubles back to reach for something to eat from a shelf. He can be seen emptying handfuls into his palm from a small box and shovelling them into his mouth.

He continues to eat as a female guard in uniform appears at the front of the desk with her back to the camera and picks up the phone.

Mystery as couple die during vacation to paradise Caribbean island – with family saying their deaths were not murder or suicide

A Canadian couple was mysteriously found dead while vacationing in a Caribbean paradise island for the holidays, according to a devastated family member.

The bodies of Alain Noël, 56, and Christine Sauvé, 55, were discovered inside their rented vacation home in Villa Riva, Dominican Republic, on the night of December 25, Gilles Sauvé Jr., Christine’s brother, wrote in a heartbreaking Facebook post.

The husband and wife, who share two children together, traveled from their home in Gatineau, a city in Quebec, to the popular Caribbean hotspot.

It is unclear when they arrived there and when they were due to return home, but according to Gilles, his sister and brother-in-law died in their sleep.

‘It is with great sadness that I announce the deaths of my sister Christine Sauvé and my brother-in-law Alain Noël, occurred in their sleep, on the night of December 25th to 26th,’ he wrote in a Facebook post alongside a selfie of the pair.

Their cause of death is unknown, but Gilles believes ‘there was absolutely no suicide or murder’, he told CTV News.

‘They were a very respected family, very close-knit, a really good family. They were loved by everyone and were planning to retire in the Dominican Republic with their new house,’ Gilles added.

He told the outlet his family has to wait 10 to 30 days to receive autopsy results and to have their bodies returned to Quebec.

Hardworking boy, 17, died mysteriously while working at Nebraska hog farm owned by governor and run by his daughter… then officials frustrated his mom’s efforts to find out why

A teenager in Nebraska died under mysterious circumstances while working at a hog farm founded by the state’s governor and run by his daughter, with officials accused of neglecting a thorough investigation for his grieving mother.

Zach Panther, 17, was found dead six weeks after starting a job at Beaver Valley Pork farms in St. Edward, Nebraska – a tiny town with about 700 residents roughly two hours west of Omaha – last April 1.

The teen had been sealing cracks in a barn with chemical-laden spray foam before his supervisor found him on the floor, according to The New York Times.

Panther’s death was not seen by any other farm employees, and there were no signs of foul play.

Beaver Valley Pork is one of the hog operations linked to Pillen Family Farms, a family business that has owned or operated more than 100 farms across Nebraska.

The company was founded by state governor Jim Pillen in 1993. His daughter Sarah has been the co-chief executive of the business since January 2020, per her public LinkedIn profile.

Investigations by government agencies couldn’t determine how the 17-year-old died and were allegedly slowed down by mistakes and poor information sharing.

‘My son is dead,’ Justy Riggs-Panther, Zach’s mom, told the outlet. ‘There ought to be answers.’

After her son’s death, the sheriff and deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office only allegedly examined the room where he died, and not much else.

The Nebraska farm allegedly blocked timely testing from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), while a recommended blood test for spray foam chemicals was also disrupted when the lab accidentally destroyed the usable sample.

Sarah Pillen, the co-CEO of Pillen Family Farms, said the company had ‘fully cooperated’ with the investigation into Zach’s death.

She told OSHA of Zach’s death when it happened, which was marked down in the call log by an agency employee with notes including ‘had been foaming’, ‘insulation’, ‘head injury’ and ‘poss[ible] medical episode.’

‘While we share the frustration that some of the issues which led to his passing remain unanswered, we understand those investigations have been closed, and there have been no safety violations attributable to the workplace,’ she told The New York Times.

However, Sarah Pillen was accused of refusing entry to an OSHA industrial hygienist who came to inspect the farm.

‘We simply requested that OSHA follow our established biosecurity protocols,’ she said.

Fresh fears Texas serial killer could be on the loose as three more bodies pulled from bayous

Fears of a Texas serial killer resurfaced in Houston after three more bodies were recovered from the city’s bayous this week.

The latest discoveries bring the number of bodies found in the waterways in 2025 to at least 34, according to KTRK, just one less than last year’s total.

Authorities have repeatedly denied that the high figure is the work of a mystery murderer, as terrified locals have demanded answers.

On Monday, a body was found in the Buffalo Bayou near the 100 block of Crawford Street, per Houston Public Media.

The deceased was recovered after someone spotted a body in the water and called 911, bringing a response from the Houston Police Department’s dive team.

That same day, another body was found near the Brays Bayou at the intersection of Texas Spur 5 and Old Spanish Trail.

The person was found on Christmas Eve in the Buffalo Bayou around 3500 Memorial Parkway, Houston police said on X.

Since 2017, at least 198 dead bodies have been found in Houston’s bayous, per Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office records obtained by KPRC 2.

Epstein’s chilling words rejecting suicide days before he died in jail

Jeffrey Epstein denied that he would commit suicide days before dying alone in his jail cell, according to the latest batch of files released about the dead pedophile.

Documents from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, where Epstein was being held ahead of his trial on sex trafficking charges, reveal new details about Epstein’s ‘possible suicide attempt’ in the early hours of July 23, 2019.

The disgraced financier was found dead in his New York prison cell on August 10, with his death officially ruled a suicide.

But notes from his time in custody indicate that Epstein rejected the idea that he would ever kill himself – apparently, for faith-related motives.

‘He said he is Jewish and he said in his religion suicide is against the religion,’ per an August 1 suicide risk assessment from the Bureau of Prisons psychology services, which was released earlier this week as part of the eighth set of the Epstein files.

Other notes from prison said that Epstein ‘denied current suicidal or self harm ideation.’

‘I’m a coward,’ he was quoted as saying on July 27.

Epstein also added that he ‘does not like pain and even does not like when he has to give blood.’

As part of the latest batch of Epstein files, detailed records were released in relation to the convicted sex offender’s supposed suicide attempt in the Special Housing Unit at the Metropolitan Correction Center in New York.

Notes from a ‘clinical intervention’ on July 27 said Epstein claimed he could not remember the incident.

‘He stated he is anxious about going back to SHU because he stated he is going back to a place where he had gotten marks on his neck and he does not know why it happened,’ the report said.

Epstein was described as being in a ‘neutral mood’ with ‘logical and coherent’ speech.

He said he had an appetite, but complained about feeling dehydrated and not getting enough sleep.

The assessment concluded that Epstein was ‘future oriented’ and ‘does not appear to be an immediate danger to self.’

According to the notes, Epstein was regularly observed by the prison’s psychology services while in custody.

‘Hit Squad’: The Dawn Sturgess Inquiry Coverup

On December 4th, a long-running Inquiry into the mysterious July 2018 death of Dawn Sturgess delivered its final report. To the surprise of surely no one, it concluded Sturgess was contaminated with Novichok as a result of the attempted assassination of GRU defector Sergei Skripal in Salisbury by Russian intelligence operatives, directed by Vladimir Putin, four months earlier. While the mainstream media unquestioningly accepted the findings as unchallengeable gospel, evidence heard and produced throughout the Inquiry raised considerably more questions than it provided answers.

Sturgess’ death, many miles away from Salisbury, was a puzzling coda to the already enigmatic poisonings of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in March 2018. She is the only person in history known to have died from coming into contact with Novichok, despite the substance being the most lethal nerve agent known to man, and Russian intelligence repeatedly using it to strike targets – purportedly. Her boyfriend Charlie Rowley allegedly gifted her a bottle of Novichok disguised as perfume, which he found – when and where, he seemingly doesn’t know.

Despite apparently spraying the substance on his hands, then wiping it on his jeans, Rowley didn’t die. He was hospitalised unconscious on June 30th 2018, hours after Sturgess collapsed, having unwittingly contaminated herself with Novichok. Or so British authorities would have us believe. Rowley awoke on July 10th, two days after Sturgess’ death. Inexplicably, he was one of many absolutely key witnesses the Inquiry neglected to call to testify. Then again, the process was a flagrant whitewash farce from start to finish.

Under English law, a coroner’s inquest should typically be completed within six to nine months of an individual’s passing. However, as independent journalist John Helmer has extensively documented, British authorities were suspiciously resistant to convening one for Sturgess. It was only after intense legal battles between Sturgess’ family and the government that an Inquiry was instituted. Unlike inquests, which have sweeping legal powers, inquiries are little more than flaccid public relations exercises. Those interviewed and evidence considered was strictly limited, by state decree.

This fudge conveniently prevented British intelligence agencies from scrutiny – an astonishing shortfall, given much of the Inquiry focused on the supposed link between the poisonings of the Skripals and Sturgess’ death. Inquiry chief Anthony Hughes, a former Supreme Court judge, concluded the Skripals’ alleged GRU assassins, Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, “brought with them to Salisbury” Novichok secreted in a perfume bottle. He added, “it was probably [emphasis added] this bottle that they used to apply poison to the door handle of Sergei Skripal’s house”.

Seth Rich Attorney Ty Clevenger Blasts FBI for “Nine-Year Coverup” — Accuses Bureau of Lying to Courts and Burying Evidence While Ignoring Court Orders

A lawyer closely tied to the long-running legal battle over the mysterious death of Seth Rich is accusing the federal government of an extraordinary, years-long coverup, one that he says mirrors the FBI’s handling of other politically explosive cases and exposes systemic corruption at the highest levels of federal law enforcement.

Ty Clevenger, an attorney who has spent years litigating Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) cases related to Seth Rich, issued a blistering public statement this week alleging that the FBI deliberately concealed records, lied to federal courts, and is now openly defying a court order to produce documents related to Rich’s case.

Clevenger’s remarks come amid renewed scrutiny of the FBI following revelations that the bureau effectively “buried” the January 6 pipe bomber investigation for years.

According to Clevenger, the FBI has been caught repeatedly lying to federal courts during eight years of FOIA litigation, hiding and misrepresenting records related to Seth Rich “on a massive scale.”

Even more alarming, Clevenger claims the FBI is currently defying a court order to turn over records, prompting a pending motion to hold the bureau in contempt of court.

Clevenger also blasted Republican lawmakers for their silence over the past nine years, naming names.

He pointed out that Rep. Thomas Massie has aggressively pursued the Epstein files but never publicly pressed on Seth Rich. Rep. Barry Loudermilk has led investigations into January 6 but, according to Clevenger, has ignored the Rich case entirely.

He then rattled off a list of prominent Republicans—Andy Biggs, Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Chuck Grassley, Tim Burchett, and James Comer—asking whether any of them are even aware of what he calls an “ongoing FBI coverup.”
