New York Has Awarded $600 Million To Sanctuary Groups Resisting Trump

New York’s city and state governments have given more than $600 million of taxpayer money to legal and immigrant-advocacy groups fighting President Trump’s immigration agenda.

One group, the Bronx Defenders, has received more than $500 million in city contracts since fiscal year 2018 to provide legal services to migrants.

Other groups, such as Make the Road NY, have received tens of millions of dollars in contracts as well.

Make the Road organized a rally at the state capitol last month in support of a sanctuary bill. Protesters chanted, “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here.”

The New York Immigration Coalition received $46 million in taxpayer money.

“New York City should not be in the business of carrying out Donald Trump’s mass disappearance agenda, which is in fact illegal under our local laws,” Tweeted Murad Awadeh, executive director of the NYICC.

These groups have been pushing a statewide sanctuary bill called the New York for All Act that would prevent state and local law enforcement from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. This would include providing ICE with information, as well as turning over or deporting illegal immigrants.

Another bill in the works, the Dignity not Detention Act, would ban local jails from renting space to ICE for detention of migrants.

Neither bill has yet passed the state Senate.

Law Breakers: University of Oklahoma Boasts ‘Safe Place’ for Illegal Aliens

Despite tremendous efforts by the Trump administration, according to Campus Reform, “the University of Oklahoma (OU) continues to provide services for illegal alien students through its admissions and financial aid processes.”

On its website, Oklahoma’s “undocumented admissions is described as a “safe space” for illegals.

It also states on its website that “In the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, we do our best to find and provide the resources to better serve undocumented and DACA students as they are students who work hard to pursue their education and deserve access to higher education and become members of the OU family,” the website reads. “This is a safe place.”

Although this non-law-abiding university admits illegal aliens are not eligible for federally funded financial help, there is a loophole that they use.

According to Oklahoma House Bill 1804, students who attended high school in Oklahoma for at least two years with a parent or guardian may still qualify for in-state tuition through an Affidavit of Intent.

The Oklahoma University website also states that illegal aliens are eligible to apply for state and university scholarships.

This all comes at a time when our federal government is cracking down on illegal alien public assistance.

Joe Biden’s Missing Migrant Children Scandal Gets Even Worse, Hotline Info Revealed

A hearing held this week by the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed that a hotline operated by the Biden-Harris administration to report concerns about unaccompanied migrant children failed to respond to 65,000 calls between August 2023 and January 2025.

The hearing focused on the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the current immigration system and their interaction with federal agencies.

Lawmakers examined how the Biden-Harris administration has managed the care and oversight of unaccompanied migrant minors.

One of the primary witnesses was Ali Hopper, the founder and president of GUARD Against Trafficking.

Hopper testified that criminal networks have exploited weaknesses within the immigration system, including both federal agencies and NGOs involved in the placement and monitoring of migrant children.

“These agencies have been hijacked by criminal networks,” Hopper told the committee.

She also described widespread mismanagement and lack of accountability across the system.

Two Florida Republican representatives push federal bill allowing illegal aliens to legally work

Joined by a group of nine additional Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida is spearheading a federal legislative effort to allow some illegal aliens to remain in the country and work legally for years.

Titled “DIGNITY Act,” the bill allows illegal aliens, which Salazar describes as “undocumented immigrants,” to remain and work in the country who have been here since before 2021.

In order to qualify, they must pass a criminal background check, pay $1,000 per year over seven years in restitution, can receive no federal benefits or entitlements, and have no pathway to citizenship. That process is referred to as the “Dignity Program.”

“Millions have lived in the shadows for decades with no legal path,” the bill’s information pager states. “Deportation of long-term workers would cripple key industries.”

“For 40 years, every president and Congress has looked the other way while millions have lived here illegally, many working in key industries that keep our economy running,” Salazar said. “It’s the Achilles’ heel no one wants to fix. The Dignity Act offers a commonsense solution: certain undocumented immigrants can earn legal status, not citizenship, by working, paying taxes, and contributing to our country. No handouts. No shortcuts. Just accountability and a path to stability for our economy and our future.”

On top of the Dignity Program, the bill’s sponsors say it requires “complete operational control” of the southern border, requires enhanced physical barriers, deploys improved technology to the border, requires nationwide E-Verify, hikes penalties for illegal border crossers, requires DNA testing for family verification, and more.

The bill sponsors say it also ends the practice of “catch-and-release,” expedites asylum processing, and hikes penalties for asylum fraud.

HORRIFYING: DHS Confirms Arrest of Mexican Illegal Alien Previously Charged with Concealing Missing Illinois Woman in Storage Container for TWO MONTHS, Decapitating and Bleaching Corpse – Man Released in April Without Bail

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Saturday confirmed that an illegal alien, who was charged with hiding the body of a missing woman for nearly two months, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Democratic Sanctuary City of Chicago, Illinois.

Megan Bos (37) was discovered dead in April after disappearing in February, according to Fox 32 Chicago.

Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez (52) reportedly told police she had overdosed at his home, but he “broke her phone, kept her body in the basement for two days, then moved it outside,” Fox reports.

Bos’s body was found wrapped in a blue tarp inside of a storage container in the man’s yard.

According to Fox’s Bill Melugin, “DHS says Bos’ corpse had been decapitated and she was found in bleach in the storage container.”

Still, Mendoza-Gonzalez was released from prison under Illinois’s SAFE-T Act, which was signed into law by Democratic Governor JB Pritzker days after Joe Biden was inaugurated as President in January 2021. The law eliminated cash bail in all criminal cases, prohibited pretrial detention in most cases, and hindered police from doing their jobs to protect public safety.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said, “It is absolutely repulsive this monster walked free on Illinois’s streets after allegedly committing such a heinous crime. Megan Bos and her family will have justice.”

Per Fox News’ Bill Melugin on X:

DHS confirms to @FoxNews that ICE just arrested a Mexican illegal alien in the sanctuary city of Chicago who was charged in April w/ concealing the body of a missing Illinois woman in a storage container on his yard for almost 2 months & abusing her corpse. Despite the severity of the charges, Lake County Judge Randie Bruno released him from custody immediately after his first court appearance in April.

I’m told 52-year-old Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez was just found & arrested by ICE at a market in Chicago this afternoon, and he is currently in ICE custody.

Police in Waukegan, IL say they found the body of 37-year-old Megan Bos, who had been reported missing on March 9th, in a container in Mendoza-Gonzalez’s yard in Waukegan in April. Mendoza-Gonzalez was charged with concealing her corpse, abusing it, and obstruction of justice.

DHS says Bos’ corpse had been decapitated and she was found in bleach in the storage container.

Alarming: The Chinese Communist Party may have exploited Biden’s policies to invade the US with massive illegal immigration.

An explosive report from the House Homeland Security Committee, published in April 2024, reveals that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) may have taken advantage of the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies (2021–2025) to facilitate a 7,000% increase in illegal Chinese immigration to the United States.

According to official data, undocumented Chinese immigrant entries through the southern border rose from 342 in 2021 to 24,214 by the end of fiscal year 2023, an exponential increase that experts describe as a direct threat to national security.

Lora Ries, director of the Border Security and Immigration Center at the Heritage Foundation, warned Fox News that this phenomenon is not accidental, but rather a “tactic” by the CCP to exploit the immigration crisis generated by Biden’s open border policies.

The expert pointed out that the majority of migrants are “military-aged men,” which heightens concerns about potential destabilizing intentions.

Additionally, the Department of Justice charged seven Chinese nationals on July 8, 2025, with operating a multimillion-dollar marijuana trafficking network, using Mexico as a front and illegal immigrants as labor for illicit crops.

Military Bases in Indiana, New Jersey Will Be Converted to Migrant Holding Centers

The Secretary of Defense has confirmed that a military base in Indiana and another in New Jersey will be converted to house detained immigrants who are awaiting deportation.

Since Trump came into office this year, the administration has added sixty facilities to the list of those used to house migrants marked for deportation, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

Now, two more are being added to that list. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth supplied a letter to Congress to inform them that Camp Atterbury in central Indiana and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey will be available “for temporary use by the Department of Homeland Security to house illegal aliens,” the Indiana Capital Chronicle reported.

In the letter, Hegseth insisted that turning space over to immigration enforcement “will not negatively affect military training, operations, readiness, or other military requirements, including National Guard and Reserve readiness.”

The timeline to begin shipping migrants to the bases has not been determined.

Camp Atterbury already has facilities to accommodate 7,000 in its dorm-style housing for families, and open barracks for singles. The buildings are equipped with central heating and air conditioning, and bathroom facilities.

Trump’s Deputies Use Medicaid Data to Help ICE Find Migrants

President Donald Trump’s deputies have completed a data-sharing deal to let ICE agents use government Medicaid data while enforcing the nation’s popular immigration laws, according to a report by the Associated Press.

Under a new agreement, “ICE will use the CMS [Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services] data to allow ICE to receive identity and location information on aliens identified by ICE,” the agreement says,” the AP reported Thursday, adding:

The department’s assistant secretary, Tricia McLaughlin, said in an emailed statement that the two agencies “are exploring an initiative to ensure that illegal aliens are not receiving Medicaid benefits that are meant for law-abiding Americans.”

Millions of illegal migrants have shared their identities and addresses to use the taxpayer-funded Medicaid system, often via emergency rooms and state-funded clinics.

The data is not being copied to ICE. Instead, ICE will be allowed to verify identities and addresses during regular work hours.

The information-sharing deal reflects the determination of Trump’s deputies to remove a myriad bureaucratic and regulatory barriers to the enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws.

President Claudia Sheinbaum May Sue ICE over Mexican Farmworker Who Died During Immigration Raid

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is considering legal action against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency after a Mexican farmworker fell to his death during an immigration raid in California.

Jaime Alanís Garcia was hospitalized and ultimately passed away after falling off a roof during an ICE raid in Caramillo, California.

ABC7 wrote:

Federal agents clashed with protesters during the immigration raid at the farm in Ventura County, one of at least two large-scale raids in Southern California on July 10.

Garcia’s family said he fell about 30 feet off a building while he was possibly trying to run from federal agents. Garcia suffered a broken neck and skull.

The tragic situation led Sheinbaum to say that they are considering legal options.

“We are supporting the family, we are in contact with them, and we’re also exploring the possibility of filing a complaint (in the U.S.) because this is unacceptable,” Sheinbaum said during a press conference.

She added, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently reviewing the matter. It is very unfortunate that this happened. All our solidarity and support go to the family, and there must not be another case like this one. That’s why the complaint must be filed in the courts over there.”

DHS Slams Judge For Ordering Release of Transgender Inmate from Men’s ICE Detention Center

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) condemned a Biden-appointed U.S district judge this week for ordering the release of a transgender Mexican illegal alien — a man who identifies as a woman — from a male-only detention facility.

The illegal alien, Odalis Jhonatan Martinez-Velasquez, had been placed into Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) men’s detention center in accordance with President Donald Trump’s standing executive order and for the safety of women in ICE custody, DHS stated on X.

In making her ruling, Oregon District Judge Baggio joins what has become a judicial conga line of Democrat-appointed federal judges blocking Trump administration policies, as Breitbart News has reported.

In this most recent case, the judge appears to have served two left-wing causes in one order — transgenderism and open borders — as DHS accused the Court of “caving to pressure from immigration and transgender activists” and “ignoring the rule of law.”

According to a separate DHS statement, Velasquez illegally entered the country in 2023 and was released under the Biden administration. He was then lawfully detained on June 2, 2025 and processed for expedited removal.
