‘Anti-violence’ activist sentenced to decades behind bars … for murder!

An “anti-violence” activist in the leftist state of Colorado has been sentenced to decades behind prison bars for murder.

It is Lumumba Sayers Sr. who has been give 48 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections for second-degree murder and 18 months each on charges of tampering with evidence and attempted tampering, according to a report from Denver’s Channel 7. The terms were ordered to run consecutively.

A report at Law & Crime said District Attorney Brian Mason confirmed, “Mr. Sayers’ actions directly undermined the work he claimed to dedicate his life to. A man who presented himself as a mentor to young people and an advocate for nonviolence chose to commit the very act he said he stood against.”

The convict was a mixed martial arts fighter who “provided community outreach to end the scourge of youth violence,” the report said.

But when his son, Lumumba Sayers Jr., was shot and killed in Denver’s Five Points, his father was charged with being out for revenge.

“At the birthday party, the defendant shot and killed a friend of the man police once believed was the prime suspect in — and once arrested for — the Five Points shooting [of the younger Sayers]. Sayers Sr. was originally arrested and charged with counts of first-degree murder and felony menacing,” the report said.

“Mr. Sayers murdered the father of a young boy at that boy’s fifth birthday party, an unconscionable and brutal act of violence,” the district attorney’s statement said. “This is particularly heartbreaking because Mr. Sayers had devoted part of his career to advancing the message of anti-violence. Justice is carried out in courtrooms, not in parking lots in front of children by someone seeking revenge.”

The convict was charged with the killing of Malcolm Watson, 28, in 2024, at a birthday party.

As the victim was leaving the party at around 5 p.m., a man walked up to him, pulled out a gun, and shot him “in the head at close range,” witnesses told law enforcement, the report said.

“Witnesses had stated the [shooter’s son] had been murdered about a year ago by a friend of the deceased,” a case affidavit charged. “[T]his murder was probably in retaliation or revenge.”

Sayers told the courtroom someone else fired the fatal shots and then fled, and he was “only attempting to retrieve his $15,000 gold necklace that somehow ended up near the victim’s body.”

The defense lawyers cited the convict’s “extraordinary life” and his involvement in the “Gloves Up, Guns Down” program that pushes young people away from violence.

Denver’s KDVR television said Sayers had worked “as an anti-violence advocate in the Aurora area,” and was “well known in the community for working to curb youth violence at the Heavy Hands Heavy Hearts gym in Aurora.”

Journalists Who Have Spent Years Comparing Trump to Hitler, Complain That His WHCD Jokes Were Mean Spirited

Members of the American media, who have spent years calling Trump an authoritarian and have even repeatedly compared him to Hitler, are now complaining that the jokes he told at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner were too mean.

Remember, these same people also regularly accuse Trump of being thin-skinned for not wanting to be compared to a fascist dictator. But they break down at the slightest pushback.

They take themselves so seriously and are completely incapable of taking any criticism while they hurl insults 24/7.

Brian Stelter of CNN writes:

President Donald Trump bombed at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Friday night. He knew he was bombing, too, and he even tried to meta-joke his way out of it.

But no. Even the president’s jokes about his bad jokes fell flat, and he was widely ridiculed for the comedy routine afterward.

Members of the media mocking a leader’s dismal performance on live TV and all across the internet? In some other countries, that’s a criminal offense. But in the US, it’s the norm, so maybe Trump’s speech unwittingly underscored the theme of the dinner: America’s robust First Amendment protections.

In a rambling hour-long speech, Trump insulted journalists by name, repurposed old nicknames for political opponents, made a strange number of fat jokes that weren’t funny at all, and sounded mad at his unnamed writers for giving him weak material to work with.

The Associated Press called it an ‘insult-filled’ speech.

LAUGHABLE: Gavin Newsom Claims That When it Comes to Fire Management, California is a ‘Model for the Globe’

Sometimes, you may forget how utterly shameless Gavivin Newsom is and then he says something like this and it all comes rushing back.

The governor recently bragged, with a straight face, that California is a model for the globe on fire management and that people from all over the world look at what California is doing and try to imitate it.

During the wildfires at the end of 2024, there wasn’t even any water in the reservoirs to fight the flames. And yet, he’s bragging. It’s just amazing.

Townhall reports:

You have to admit that what Gavin Newsom lacks in brains and sound policy he makes up for in sheer hubris. That’s the only reason that Newsom could say with a straight face that his state is a global model for fire management. Perhaps that’s true in a sense; Canada was burning so much that people as far south as Virginia were seeing, smelling, and feeling the impacts.

That’s because Canada, like California, refuses to do basic fire management like clearing brush and old growth. This is nothing to brag about, of course.

But brag Newsom did.

“I can say this with absolute conviction. We don’t imitate; we’re a model for others,” Newsom said. “We have people coming from all over the United States and around the globe to look at what California is doing in orbit, in the air, and on the ground.”

U.K. government could remotely disable home heating or cooling

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that by the end of next year, British energy suppliers will be able to remotely turn down household heat pumps to help manage grid demand during winter cold snaps. Ezra Levant walked through what giving the government that ability means on Monday’s episode of The Ezra Levant Show, warning viewers where net-zero policy is actually headed.

Heat pumps, Ezra explained, are not furnaces. They move heat rather than generate it, which makes them energy-efficient in mild climates. But when temperatures drop below -20°C, they become effectively useless, something even the Weather Network has acknowledged.

An advertisement for heat pumps from BC Hydro came across more like a piece of Liberal Party propaganda rather than displaying a product, Ezra said.

“There’s a reason governments have to pay people thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars to take one,” he said. “I’ve never heard of a popular product in history that needed a subsidy to sell.”

The United Kingdom’s problem is now more acute than just product performance, however. Under a scheme being developed by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero — Ezra noted the irony of that name — licensed energy suppliers including Octopus Energy and British Gas will be able to remotely restrict heat pumps via internet connection during periods of peak demand.

Over 223,000 heat pumps are already installed in British homes, and all installations since April 2025 must be internet-connected. Energy Secretary Ed Miliband has set a target of 450,000 installations per year by 2030.

“They won’t just have the ability to turn off the heat to your home,” Ezra cautioned. “They could turn off your car if it’s electric.”

Giving the government this ability is akin to a Chinese Communist Party-style social credit system — only by another name. “Do you think Ed Miliband would ever have his car turned off? Or just the little people?”

In the European Union, a Politico headline details how EU Commission headquarters was forced to shut down air conditioning amid a heatwave.

Reading further, Ezra found that only floors one through seven lost cooling — while Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on the 13th floor and her commissioners on floors eight and above kept full air conditioning throughout.

“The important people had air conditioning,” he said. “They literally made the junior staff sweat it out in the heatwave.”

As the Right Panics Over ‘Marxists,’ Their Own Leaders Are Openly Seizing the Means of Production

House Speaker Mike Johnson recently took to social media to broadcast an apocalyptic warning, screaming that “the barbarians are inside the gate” and claiming Congress is locked in a life-or-death battle to stop America from sliding down a “dark road of death to communism.” It is the classic, time-tested political playbook used by the establishment for decades to keep the populace paralyzed and compliant. They invent a terrifying, existential boogeyman, claim they are the only thing standing between the voters and total destruction, and hope nobody notices that their own team is running the exact same racket.

This latest iteration of the Red Scare, spearheaded by Donald Trump and his neoconservative cheerleaders, is a masterclass in psychological projection designed to keep the masses blind to a deeply uncomfortable truth. The real threat to economic freedom in America isn’t some foreign Marxist vanguard hiding in the shadows. It is the bipartisan, corporate-state cabal that has already replaced voluntary exchange with top-down central planning while wrapping it tightly in an American flag.

While the political Right whips its base into a frenzy over the creeping threat of left-wing Marxism, the very same “America First” politicians are quietly executing a hostile takeover of the free market. The State operates on an inherent double standard, unapologetically claiming that it is illegal for you to commit murder or theft, while it continuously wages wars that slaughter tens of thousands of innocents and extorts half your income through taxation. That staggering hypocrisy is currently on full display in the realm of economics, where the establishment campaigns on capitalism while ruling as command-economy despots.

During his first term, Trump frequently bypassed market mechanisms entirely, using protectionist tariffs to pick economic winners and losers before doling out a staggering $23 billion in taxpayer-funded farm bailouts to clean up the resulting economic carnage. A comprehensive study by the Cato Institute reveals that the federal government now spends over $181 billion annually on corporate welfare. This massive redistribution of wealth has only grown exponentially under both the Biden and Trump 2.0 administrations, forcing everyday taxpayers to underwrite corporate failures and subsidize favored industries.

The reality of the current administration is a clear line toward what can only be described as corporatism — the merger of corporate and state — marking a radical break from any semblance of a free market. Since taking office in 2025, the administration has weaponized the federal government to directly insert itself into corporate boardrooms. In a move that would make Benito Mussolini jealous, they have abandoned temporary bailouts for proactive, creeping socialism, using taxpayer funds to acquire financial equity stakes in 28 private companies over the past year and a half.

VIDEO COLLAGE: Same Dirty Lying Democrats Who Claimed 2016 Election Was Stolen Are Now Attacking Trump after He Brings the Receipts on the Stolen 2020 Election

Here is a BRILLIANT video created by American Nightmare on X.

The video collage includes dozens of Democrats claiming the 2016 election was stolen – many blame this on Russia, Russia, Russia.

They all knew it was a lie but pushed this wicked narrative anyway.

America suffered for years as Democrats and the fake news pushed this nonsense on the American people.

Notice that these are the same liars that downplayed the 2020 election fraud.

These are the same liars that are sooo worried about the truth coming out that they refused to air President Trump’s speech on their channels.

What horrible people.

Brian Stelter Offers Completely Dishonest Reason for CNN Refusing to Air Trump’s Speech This Week

CNN was one of the networks that refused to air Trump’s speech this week, a fact that should surprise no one. What is surprising, is the stunningly dishonest explanation for this, offered by resident ‘media reporter’ Brian Stelter.

According to Stelter, the network ‘monitored’ the speech and decided what was newsworthy and then ‘contextualized’ the speech for their audience.

Funny. That’s not how CNN approached more than ten years of pushing the Russia collusion hoax. Also, don’t forget, by refusing to air the speech, CNN was basically telling American voters, who put Trump in the White House, that THEY will decide when the voters hear from the President of the United States.

Because they’re so devoted to democracy, you see. What a joke.

RedState reports:

Now you might think that this would be something the media would want to cover, given how much time they spent on the fake Russia collusion hoax. But as we reported, major liberal media outlets like ABC, NBC, and MS NOW passed on the president’s prime-time address, even though such speeches are routinely televised in full.

But in some ways, CNN was the worst, revealing more than it probably intended when it explained why it didn’t air the speech.

“Some network executives felt it would be dangerous to just air Trump’s speech live, in full, unedited without knowing what he was going to say ahead of time. That’s where we are in America.”

Why is it dangerous? Why can’t they allow you to judge what he says on its own merit?

“Trump’s election lies led to violence,” Stelter said. Even this is misleading, since Trump never incited violence, told people to act peacefully, and when they didn’t, encouraged people to stop on Jan. 6.

It apparently wasn’t “dangerous” to falsely report on Russia collusion or any of the slew of other false reports CNN and other media have made about Trump, which greatly divided the country and still has people believing lies for years.

WTH? AOC Does Fake Black Accent During Tennessee Rally – “Sista Pressley and I Were in Montgomery, Alabama”

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sent people scratching their heads when she spoke in Ebonics at a rally for black Tennessee Congressional Candidate Justin Pearson.

Many were quick to point out AOC’s strange accent.

AOC is Hispanic and Puerto Rican, but instead of staying in her own lane and leaning into her actual cultural roots, she embraced trans ideology and turned herself into a black woman for the rally in the South.

Isn’t that called cultural appropriation?

During the speech, she referenced a rally she attended in Montgomery, Alabama, earlier this year with Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), whom she called “Sista Presley,” telling New Yorkers to “pull up” to the South to help fight Republicans.

Notably, during her May speech in Montgomery, AOC did not appear to have this same accent. Perhaps she’s been working on it.

The View’s Sunny Hostin Hates ‘Privilege’… Except For Her Own

No one hates “privilege” more than Sunny Hostin.

The slightly black co-host of The View, who earns $2 million annually and lives with her orthopedic surgeon husband in a 12,000-square-foot New York City apartment, repeatedly castigates those—usually white—who exercise their “privilege.”

However, when it came to throwing her weight around with the cops to protect her son from allegedly illegal conduct, the whole idea of “privilege” vanished from Hostin’s mind.

Hostin, a former federal prosecutor with a pretty face, landed herself a gig on The View, a show that is aggressively woke. In that context, Hostin often complains about privilege—all kinds of privilege that imply that talent and hard work are meaningless. Here are some notable examples:

In April 2019, when he was running for the Democrat nomination, Pete Buttigieg made obeisance to the race and sex hustlers by reflecting on his “white privilege or male privilege.” Hostin was thrilled that Buttigieg had this empathetic insight into his privilege.

In May 2024, while the shrews…er, hostesses were discussing Caitlin Clark, Hostin stated, “I do think that there is a thing called pretty privilege. There is a thing called White privilege. There is a thing called tall privilege, and we have to acknowledge that.

Most tellingly, though, for purposes of this essay, in September 2019, when actress Felicity Huffman was trying to get a more lenient sentence for her role in a college admissions scandal, Hostin was outraged that someone prominent, wealthy, and generally in a better (presumably whiter) situation than other people, would dare ask for leniency: “She had wealth, privilege and a platform, and she didn’t use it appropriately.”

I couldn’t help thinking of these (and other) attacks on privilege when I read about Hostin throwing around her privileged weight as co-host of The View when she tried to stop police from arresting her son who had allegedly been caught walking along the railroad tracks in chi-chi Westchester County last month:

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin tried to talk cops out of issuing her Ivy League-educated son a trespassing citation — telling them he “has no criminal record” and repeatedly citing her legal background, according to newly released police bodycam footage.

The TV personality and former federal prosecutor was on the phone with her 24-year-old son, Gabriel Hostin, when he was stopped by police along Metro-North Railroad tracks in Westchester County last month.

“My name is Sunny Hostin and I’m one of the co-hosts of ‘The View’ and I’m a former federal prosecutor,” the 57-year-old mom can be heard saying to the responding officers in the bodycam footage obtained Friday by The Post.

You and I both know that she talked about her role on The View as a subtle threat to the police: I’m powerful, I know people, and I can use my show to destroy you is the privileged subtext of that statement.

House Dems Suddenly Mum When Confronted By Radical Democratic Socialists of America Plans to Destroy Key Institutions

The Gateway Pundit reported on a recent interview with Gustavo Gordillo is the co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) in New York City.

Speaking with Fox News host Martha MacCallum, DSA tried to clarify its position on abolishing key institutions in the United States, including eliminating the Senate and replacing the President and Supreme Court with “an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.”

From DSA’s website:

For the working class to govern, we need a new political system. End political corruption and legalized bribery: get rid of lobbyists, dark money, and Citizens United, and publicly finance all elections. Abolish the Electoral College. Replace the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.

During the discussion, Gordillo showed that he does not even understand the difference between the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, nor does he understand the system of government he and his fellow radicals are so eager to destroy.

“The United States Senate is an undemocratic institution. It gives more representation to people in smaller states than to the 30 million people in California.”

The Yale graduate apparently thinks the founders created a democracy.  They did not and that was done with forethought.  We are a constitutional Republic.
