‘All Of America Needs To Be Deprogrammed’ Because Of Trump, Authority On Cults Tells CNN

“It’s called the dissociative disorder, questioning of identity. And the bottom line is, all of America needs deprogramming because we’ve all been negatively influenced by Donald Trump,” said Hassan, a mental health counselor and author of “Cult of Trump.”

“So, in studying all the thought-reform, brainwashing models, I developed a BITE model of authoritarian control, and it basically talks about controlling behavior, information, thoughts and emotions to create a new identity that’s dependent and obedient,” Hassan continued, referring to a paper he wrote on how cults control behavior, information, thoughts and emotions.

Washington Post columnist and MSNBC analyst Eugene Robinson also suggested that Trump supporters should be “deprogrammed” and described them as “members of a cult” earlier this month.

Former news anchor Katie Couric said Friday that House Republicans who voted against impeaching Trump need to be “deprogrammed.”

Dems deploying DARPA-funded AI-driven information warfare tool to target pro-Trump accounts

An anti-Trump Democratic-aligned political action committee advised by retired Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal is planning to deploy an information warfare tool that reportedly received initial funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Pentagon’s secretive research arm — transforming technology originally envisioned as a way to fight ISIS propaganda into a campaign platform to benefit Joe Biden.

The Washington Post first reported that the initiative, called Defeat Disinfo, will utilize “artificial intelligence and network analysis to map discussion of the president’s claims on social media,” and then attempt to “intervene” by “identifying the most popular counter-narratives and boosting them through a network of more than 3.4 million influencers across the country — in some cases paying users with large followings to take sides against the president.”

Social media guru Curtis Hougland is heading up Defeat Disinfo, and he said he received the funding from DARPA when his work was “part of an effort to combat extremism overseas.”

THE REAL INCITEMENT TO VIOLENCE

Leftists have been accusing Donald Trump of “inciting violence” for his speech on Jan. 6 that preceded the Capitol Hill break-in.

Whether Trump’s words rise to incitement or not – or if the actions on the 6th were pre-planned anyway – has received ample scrutiny elsewhere.

What I instead would like to focus on is the concept of “incitement” to violence in the political realm more broadly, and just how guilty progressive leftists are.

The incitement of which I speak, however, is a bit more subtle than clear-cut cases of a politician urging a mob of people to destroy buildings or assault people.

Instead, I want to focus on how progressives use rhetoric to ‘unperson’ and demonize their political opponents, paving the way for social ostracization – using violence if necessary.

Nikole Hannah-Jones Calls For ‘Consequences,’ ‘Deprogramming’ For Republicans

Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones, who is best known for her flagship essay in the New York Times’ ahistorical 1619 Project, believes that 74 million Americans deserve to be “punished” as part of deprogramming them for voting for Donald Trump in 2020.

The 1619 Project creator spoke to Eugene Robinson on MSNBC, where he asked her about how the media and social elites can best “deprogram” the “millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans” who voted for Trump, as they are clearly part of a “cult.”

Hannah-Jones responded with a vague call to look toward an undefined “history,” declaring that “there has to be consequences” based on how you vote. She then decried the push towards a quick “reconciliation” between the left and right. The so-called journalist painted Trump supporters with a broad brush, lumping the Capitol rioters in with average Republicans who voted based on policy.
