14 Million Illegals in 2023: The Cost to Our Nation

Illegal immigration in the United States surged to a record 14 million in 2023, according to a Pew Research Center report. That figure marked a sharp increase from 11.8 million in 2022 and broke the previous high of 12.2 million set in 2007. Numbers rose further in 2024 under Biden’s policies, then began to decline in 2025 under Trump, though the total remains above 14 million.

California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois had the largest concentrations of illegal immigrants, with Texas rapidly catching up to California. Pew estimated that 9.7 million were part of the U.S. workforce in 2023, about 5.6% of all workers, with Nevada, Florida, New Jersey, and Texas recording the highest shares.

The economic impact of illegal immigration is staggering. According to a 2023 study by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the gross annual cost of illegal immigration, the total before factoring in taxes paid by illegal aliens, has risen to $182 billion.

Taxes paid by illegal immigrants cover only about 17.2 percent of these costs, leaving American taxpayers with a net burden of $150.7 billion per year. That amounts to $8,776 annually for each illegal immigrant or U.S.-born child of illegal immigrants. On a per-taxpayer basis, illegal immigration costs $1,156 a year, or $957 after accounting for taxes paid by illegal aliens.

These costs have grown sharply. The 2022 totals represented a 30 percent increase over just five years. A previous FAIR study in 2017 estimated the net annual cost at $116 billion, underscoring how quickly the burden has escalated.

The local impact of illegal immigration is especially visible in law enforcement statistics. In Los Angeles County, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide are for illegal aliens, and as many as two-thirds of all fugitive warrants in the county involve illegal aliens.

Reporter Thrown Out of Fed’s Jackson Hole Conference, Charged With Criminal Trespass For Asking Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook Questions About Her Mortgage Fraud Scandal

A reporter was thrown out of the Fed’s annual Jackson Hole conference and hit with a criminal trespass notice for asking Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook questions about her mortgage fraud scandal.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell, Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, Governor of the Bank of England, President of the European Central Bank and others were present at the Fed’s annual press conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Friday.

CNBC reported on Lisa Cook’s attendance at the annual conference in Jackson Hole.

Federal housing regulator Bill Pulte has produced documents alleging Lisa Cook committed mortgage fraud – specifically occupancy fraud – when she lied about her out-of-state Atlanta condo being her ‘primary residence.’

According to Pulte’s criminal referral, Lisa Cook committed mortgage fraud by lying on her mortgage application and falsifying bank statements when she designated her out-of-state Atlanta condo as her “primary residence”—just two weeks after taking a loan on her Michigan home, which she also claimed as her “primary residence.”

By claiming “primary residence” on her out-of-state condo, Lisa Cook received more favorable loan terms and a lower interest rate.

On June 18, 2021, Cook acquired a loan on a property in Ann Arbor, Michigan. On the mortgage agreement, Cook represented to “use the Property as Borrower’s principal residence within 60 days after the execution of her agreement, Pulte said.

On July 2, 2021, just two weeks later, Lisa Cook also purchased a condo in Atlanta and entered a 30-year mortgage agreement and affirmed the property would serve as her primary residence within 60 days of the execution of the mortgage and would serve as her primary residence for a full year, Pulte’s referral said.

Pulte dropped more receipts on Friday morning as Lisa Cook attended the annual conference in Wyoming.

“Chicago Will be Our Next” – Trump Says Chicago, New York, San Francisco Crime Crackdown Incoming and Democrats are Calling Him for Help

President Trump on Friday signaled that he is not stopping his crackdown on crime in Washington, DC, and told reporters that he plans to clean up Chicago, San Francisco, and potentially more Democratic cities across the country.

President Trump has declared a “public safety emergency” in the nation’s capital, citing high crime and unsafe streets, and he federalized the DC police force last week. He further authorized the use of National Guard troops and deployed federal agents across the city to tackle the rampant crime, homelessness, and illegal immigration crises.

Hundreds of criminals have been removed from the streets, and crime has significantly reduced in the city.

Law-abiding citizens can now walk around freely without fear of being attacked, robbed, or harassed by drugged-out bums.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump fired off a warning shot to Mayor Muriel Bowser during his Oval Office press conference on Friday, apparently threatening her removal.

“Mayor Bowser better get her act straight, or she won’t be mayor very long because we’re taking over with the federal government, running it like it’s supposed to be run,” Trump said.

National Guard Mobilizing In 19 States Amid Immigration, Crime Crackdown

Up to 1,700 National Guardsmen are set to mobilize in 19 states in the coming weeks to assist the Department of Homeland Security with President Trump’s nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration and crime, Pentagon officials confirmed to FOX News.

Documents obtained by FOX News show planning for activations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming – with status effective from August through mid-November. Texas is projected to host the most significant Guard presence.

The White House is emphasizing that the activations were planned prior to President Trump’s comments within the last 48 hours about replicating law enforcement efforts seen in Washington, D.C., in other parts of the country.

“This isn’t new nor is it tied to the President’s efforts to address violent crime in DC.,” a White House official said. “DoD announced last month that National Guard troops would assist DHS with clerical support and other logistical tasks for processing illegal aliens at ICE facilities. It is separate from the federal interagency crime crackdown.”

The National Guard soldiers being mobilized will effectively serve as a support pillar to a sweeping federal interagency effort, while also serving as a visible deterrent force, a U.S. Defense official said. The service members supporting ICE will be preforming case management, transportation, logistical support, and clerical functions associated with the processing of illegal migrants at the facilities. “The in-and-out processing may include personal data collection, fingerprinting, DNA swabbing and photographing of personnel in ICE custody,” the official said.

Biden judge sticks it to Trump by releasing teens who assaulted Big Balls as president celebrates DC crackdown: ‘Everybody’s safe now’

A Biden-appointed judge has defied President Donald Trump by releasing two teenagers accused of assaulting a DOGE employee on the streets of Washington D.C.

The revelation comes shortly after Trump celebrated his success in cracking down on crime in the capital, telling Americans ‘everybody is safe now’ in a Thursday press conference.

Trump had dedicated mass resources to Washington in the weeks after 19-year-old former DOGE staffer Edward ‘Big Balls’ Coristine was attacked on the streets.

Coristine was left bloody, badly beaten and fearing he was concussed on August 5 when he tried to stop a carjacking.

Judge Kendra Briggs, who was appointed by Joe Biden during his presidency, on Thursday ordered the release of the two teenagers believed to be responsible for the crime.

The two suspects, a boy and girl both aged 15, are accused of an attempted carjacking and assaulting Coristine on August 3. Police later shared photos of a third suspect.

The duo, who cannot be named due to their ages, are from Hyattsville, Maryland, and have been placed under strict rules in order to be released from juvenile detention.

The girl will move into a youth shelter house, while the boy is permitted to live at his mother’s home.

Both will be required to attend school and will have a strict curfew, as well as electric monitoring.

‘School and home, that’s it,’ Briggs told the duo, according to The Washington Post.

‘The fact that this court is stepping you down from Youth Services Center is a serious step,’ the judge added.

The pair are forbidden from contacting one another, and Briggs assured them that if she heard of any breaches, there would be an emergency hearing scheduled to deal with the consequences.

Each teenager had one parent virtually present at the hearing.

The girl has another pending matter in Maryland, and prosecutors objected to her release, describing her as a danger to the community and a flight risk.

Jeffrey Epstein committed his first crime in the U.K. and it involved a bizarre deadly weapon

Jeffrey Epstein once admitted being convicted of a bizarre crime involving possession of an offensive weapon in the U.K.

The late disgraced billionaire revealed under oath that he was convicted of having a sword disguised as a walking cane, a device known as a ‘swordstick.’

It is unclear what Epstein’s punishment was for the crime, which happened decades ago, but records show a man later convicted of the same offense received a suspended jail sentence.

The incident, according to Epstein himself, resulted in his first criminal conviction, long before he admitted soliciting a minor in 2008, and was then charged with sex trafficking of minors in 2019.

Epstein spoke about the peculiar episode during a sworn deposition in a separate financial investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in New York in 1981.

According to a transcript of that deposition he was asked if he had ever been convicted of a crime, and replied: ‘I’ve been convicted of a crime in Great Britain at one point…I don’t believe it’s…no (U.S.) federal jurisdiction.’

He was then asked by an SEC lawyer: ‘Do you know offhand if it’s a felony or a misdemeanor?’

Epstein responded: ‘No I don’t.’

The lawyer went on: ‘What did it concern? What was the allegation and what was the conviction?’

Epstein said: ‘The allegation was I bought an antique swordstick and they said that could not be carried in the country, it had to be shipped out.’

Trump Administration REVOKES Business License of Employer Who Hired Illegal Alien Responsible for Killing 3 in Florida Truck Crash

The Trump Administration has dropped the hammer on a reckless California trucking company that knowingly hired an illegal alien truck driver who went on to cause a deadly crash in Florida last week that claimed the lives of three innocent Americans.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that an illegal alien, who obtained his truck driving license (CDL) in the Democrat-run sanctuary state of California, killed three Americans after he made an illegal U-turn on a Florida highway this week.

The driver, identified as Harjinder Singh, was arrested and charged with three counts of vehicular homicide after he made an insane U-turn directly in front of a car to his left on Florida’s Turnpike.

The illegal alien showed zero emotion after he exited the 18-wheeler and examined what was left of the vehicle, a pile of mangled metal and three dead bodies.

The truck involved in the fatal Florida Turnpike crash belonged to White Hawk Carriers, a shady outfit based in Ceres, California, with a horrifying track record, according to the Miami Herald:

  • 25 truck safety violations in just 24 inspections.
  • Two drivers busted in 2024 for driving on suspended licenses.
  • And now, an illegal alien driver who couldn’t even speak English—behind the wheel of a massive semi-truck.

According to the Miami Herald, as of Tuesday morning, White Hawk’s U.S. DOT entry shows their insurance canceled and status downgraded to “NOT AUTHORIZED to operate as a MOTOR PROPERTY COMMON CARRIER.” That means their interstate trucking operations are effectively shut down by the Trump Administration.

Authorities Hit White Man Who Was Savagely Beaten During Cincinnati Brawl with a Criminal Charge Following Outcry from Black Community Leaders

One of the two victims identified by police during last month’s street brawl in Cincinnati has been hit with a criminal charge.

As Fox News reported on Wednesday, authorities charged the unidentified 45-year-old White man with disorderly conduct for his part in the July 26 fight.

Police are not legally allowed to identify the man at this time. This is because under Marsy’s law, victims of crimes are allowed to have their names withheld from the public.

Authorities also did not specify what he specifically did to warrant a disorderly conduct charge.

This news comes after black community leaders in Cincy last week demanded the white man’s prosecution, citing a video appearing to show him slapping one of the black individuals before the all-out assault. A racial slur can also be heard, though it’s not clear whether the white man or someone else uttered it.

Community leaders said this proved the white guy should be facing at least the exact charges as the other seven thugs who brutally beat him and a white woman.

Many spoke out against this perceived ‘injustice’ during a discussion at New Prospect Baptist Church in the Cincy neighborhood of Roselawn.

“If the riot is because of a slap, who incited the riot?” asked Rev. Damon Lynch. “Why are the only people being charged are the ones who look like me?”

While the charges are not as severe as the black individuals, the community leaders at least partially got their wish.

Liberal media rages at arrest of ‘family man’ in DC—turns out he’s an illegal immigrant wanted for child sex assault

A brief scene on the National Mall in the nation’s capital on Wednesday drew attention after a local reporter captured the arrest of a man by federal agents. The Department of Homeland Security later confirmed the suspect was an illegal immigrant with a serious criminal record.

NBC Washington reporter Aimee Cho posted on X: “BREAKING: Just saw DC Police + federal agents detain a man on the National Mall. He appeared to try to escape, then was quickly tackled to the ground by several agents + was screaming in Spanish ‘please, I’m not a criminal, I work here, I want to be with my family’” — @AimeeCho4

The Department of Homeland Security directly replied to Cho’s post, saying: “This illegal alien from Mexico was previously arrested in January 2024 in Fairfax County for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 13.”

“He entered and had a final order of removal and chose to voluntary return- twice. Illegally entered 3 times. Thank you to law enforcement for getting him off of Washington DC’s streets.” — said the DHS.

Kentucky judge killed by sheriff ran courthouse like ‘brothel’ — and traded sex for favors at twisted parties: victim

The rural Kentucky judge gunned down in his own chambers last year ran a twisted sex ring in which young women were coaxed into performing sexual favors just to get out of trouble, one of the alleged victims claims.

Tya Adams alleges she was among those caught up in Judge Kevin Mullins’ apparent sex-for-favors scheme that saw him and others in the tiny town of Whitesburg demand sex in exchange for cash, or to get offenders off the hook.

Adams told NewsNation’s “Banfield” that Mullins — who was shot execution-style in his Letcher County chambers, allegedly by his longtime sheriff pal Shawn Stines, last September — had warned her to keep quiet about the so-called depraved ring.

“We would do sex parties and perform shows and have sex with them for money, things like that,” Adams alleged. “It was consensual. But it was the thing that we were so young, and then they used it against us and to destroy our lives later.”

Adams said she felt forced to go along with the judge’s scheme because she feared Child Protective Services would somehow get involved and upend her life.

“They would make sure to make you feel as small and degraded and belittled as possible to take your power away,” Adams said.
