Beatles assassin Mark David Chapman killed John Lennon ‘to be a somebody’ but officials don’t buy his message to fans: docs

Deranged killer Mark David Chapman gunned down John Lennon over a pathetic desire to “be a somebody,” he recently told a parole board, ahead of the shocking crime’s 45th anniversary

“This was for me and me alone, unfortunately, and it had everything to do with his popularity,” Chapman, 70, said from the Green Haven Correctional Facility in Dutchess County in late August, according to an interview transcript obtained by The Post on Friday.

“My crime was completely selfish.”

Chapman, who assassinated the beloved 40-year-old Beatle outside the Dakota apartment building on Dec. 8, 1980, made his 14th unsuccessful attempt at getting sprung from prison. He apologized for causing “devastation” to fans and friends of the rock legend — but the board ultimately didn’t buy his sorrow, the records showed.

Asked by a commissioner why he wanted to murder Lennon, he said, “to be famous, to be something I wasn’t.”

“And then I just realized, hey, there is a goal here,” Chapman continued. “I don’t have to die and I can be a somebody. I had sunk that low.”

During previous parole hearings, Chapman made similar statements about glory, saying he was seeking fame “and had evil in my heart.”

Man Who Planned to Shoot up Atlanta’s Airport Is Arrested in a Terminal Following a Tip, Police Say

Police arrested a man at Atlanta’s bustling airport on Monday after getting a tip from his family that he was planning to shoot up the place, and found an assault rifle and ammunition in his truck outside, the city’s police chief said.

Billy Joe Cagle, of Cartersville, Georgia, had described his plan to shoot up the world’s busiest airport on a social media livestream, Chief Darin Schierbaum said during a news conference.

“The Cartersville Police Department was alerted by the family of Mr. Cagle that he was streaming on social media that he was headed to the Atlanta airport, in their words, to ‘shoot it up,’ and the family stated that he was in possession of an assault rifle,” Schierbaum said, describing Cagle as a “convicted felon.”

Cagle, 49, arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in a Chevrolet pickup truck that was parked right outside the doors to the airport terminal. When police went to the vehicle, they found an AR-15 with 27 rounds of ammunition, Schierbaum said.

“We’re here today briefing you on a success and not a tragedy because a family saw something and said something,” the chief said.

Cartersville police Capt. Greg Sparacio, whose department received the initial tip from family members, said Cagle “had the intention to inflict harm to as many people as he could.”

International Student from China Accused of Drugging and Raping Multiple Women on Campus

A Chinese national faces felony charges after he reportedly drugged and raped three women while enrolled at the University of Southern California.

Cincinnati Police Chief Who Was Sued For Anti-White Discrimination Placed on Leave

Cincinnati Police Chief Terri Theetge was placed on paid administrative leave after she was sued for anti-white bias.

“The City continues to face serious public safety challenges that underscore the need for stability at the command level. Therefore, I’ve named Assistant Chief Adam Hennie as Interim Police Chief. Our focus remains on maintaining stability within the department and ensuring the highest standards of service to our residents. I have full confidence in Interim Chief Hennie and the department’s command staff to continue their dedicated work at this time,” said City Manager Sheryl Long, WLWT reported.

“Assistant Chief Adam Hennie has been named interim chief,” the outlet reported.

Recall that Theetge previously blamed social media after a violent mob of mostly black males beat a white couple at jazz festival over the summer.

Teresa Theetge held a press conference on the beating of the white couple.

Theetge said five people in connection to the mob beating were charged. She also blasted social media posters for their coverage of the mob beatings.

“The post that we’ve seen does not depict the entire incident. That is one version of what occurred,” Theetge said.

“I think by the irresponsibility with social media is it just shows one side of the equation quite frequently without context, without factual context, and then people run with that and then it grows legs and it becomes something bigger that we then have to try to manage as part of the investigation,” she said.

“Social media and mainstream media and their commentaries are misrepresentation of the circumstances surrounding any given event,” she added.

Don’t Blame ICE For Enforcing The Law. Blame Democrats For Breaking It

It’s apparently “cruel” to enforce immigration law, at least that’s what the left has been telling us for months now.

“Trump’s cruel immigration machine is still tearing families apart,” Jordan Foster, Dylan Gee, and Dina Francesca Haynes wrote for MSNBC.

California Democrat Scott Peters said in June that ICE raids are “cruel and wasteful.” ICE agents, according to Peters, “took away four undocumented dishwashers and line cooks.”

“Instead of targeting real threats, this administration is carrying out a cruel agenda that will disrupt our economy, further erode trust in law enforcement, and sow chaos and fear,” Peters continued.

It’s the same narrative we hear time and time again, that enforcing immigration law is inherently “cruel” — not because the laws have changed, but simply because the laws are being enforced.

Gustavo Arellano — whose father was an illegal alien — wrote for the Los Angeles Times that “There’s no nice way to deport someone. But Trump’s ICE is hosting a cruelty Olympics.”

“The Trump presidency has amply proven he has no interest in skirting meanness and cruelty,” Arellano wrote. “This administration is never going to roll out the welcome mat for illegal immigrants. But the least they can do [is] deal with them as if … well, as if they are human.”

The National Immigration Law Center called ICE raids and arrests harmful.

“The only coherent policy goal of this administration when it comes to immigration is its relentless pursuit of cruelty — no matter what the cost and no matter what else is impacted. The strategy is clear: to cultivate so much suffering and fear, through real and threatened violence, that immigrants choose to abandon their communities and lives in the United States.”

But the “harm” and the “cruelty” these critics decry are nothing more than the enforcement of laws, laws that Democrats themselves ignored, which got us to this exact point.

Those who enter the country illegally are subject to removal. But Democrats spent years looking the other way entirely on all border and immigration laws, and in doing so sought to condition the American people to see enforcement of the law as “cruel.” Thus, when the law is finally applied, the left falls back on emotional blackmail.

White House Slams TMZ Report Claiming Donald Trump Considering Commutation of Sean “Diddy” Combs — Calls It “Completely Fraudulent”

The White House struck back at a fake news report from TMZ alleging that President Donald Trump was “seriously considering” commuting the prison sentence of disgraced rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

According to TMZ’s October 20 exclusive, a “high-ranking White House official” claimed Trump was “vacillating” and could sign a commuting order for Combs’ 50-month sentence as early as this week.

But the White House rejected the claims outright.

The news outlet reported:

According to our source, the President is “vacillating” on a commutation. We’re told some of the W.H. staff are urging Trump not to commute the sentence. But, our source states the obvious — “Trump will do what he wants,” and we’re told Trump could set Diddy free as early as this week.

Diddy is serving a 50-month prison sentence for violating the Mann Act. He’s served 13 months, and with credit, he could get out in around 2 years — but none of that matters if Trump commutes his sentence.

[…]

We know almost immediately after Diddy was sentenced earlier this month, his legal team was in touch with a high-ranking White House official who has the ear of the President regarding a commutation or pardon. Just days later, Trump told the media he was aware of the ask.

A White House spokesperson described the TMZ story as “entirely false,” accusing the outlet of circumventing standard procedures, Daily Mail reported.

“There is zero truth to the TMZ report, which we would’ve gladly explained had they reached out before running their fake news,” the spokesperson told the Daily Mail. “The president, not anonymous sources, is the final decider on pardons and commutations.”

Democrat mayor accused of ‘gaslighting’ entire city after dismissing claims serial killer is behind dozens of bodies pulled from bayous

The family of a man found dead in the Houston bayous has accused the city’s mayor of ‘gaslighting’ after the Democrat dismissed almost 50 bodies pulled from the waters in 21 months as a symptom of ‘homelessness‘.

John Whitmire rejected growing fears of a serial killer dumping bodies in the Texas waterways after dozens were found dead over the past two years.

One death that has baffled investigators is Kenneth Cutting Jr, 22, who disappeared after a night out in downtown Houston in June last year.

Cousin Lauren Freedman said his body was found by police in the Buffalo Bayou a few days later, about a mile and a half upstream from where his roommates last saw him alive.

The cause and manner of the young man’s death were undetermined by the autopsy which found no traces of physical injury or drug use.

Cutting is just one of dozens of people that have been found dead in the waterways over the past few years.

So far in 2025, police have confirmed 16 were pulled from Houston’s bayous, but records from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences indicate that number is even higher, at 24.

Six of those were found over the course of just two weeks in September.

Police have also confirmed that throughout 2024, there was a total of 24 bodies recovered from the waterways.

All of these deaths have caused Houston residents to speculate that there may be a serial killer on the loose, but mayor Whitmire has publicly disputed those fears.

Married Accountant Busted After Trying to Kill Trump Supporter Over Sign Dispute While Wearing “Antifa-Style” Mask – Victim Speaks Out Regarding His Harrowing Experience

An unhinged leftist has been caught after trying to kill an innocent Trump supporter over a sign that he did not like.

As the Daily Mail reported on Monday, 38-year-old Benjamin Michael Campbell was charged with unloading gunshots into the residence of 62-year-old Mark Thomas in Nantahala Gorge, North Carolina. The incident occurred back on September 6.

Campbell was seen in video footage raising his firearm from his vehicle’s sunroof and firing multiple rounds.

The Daily Mail reports that Campbell is a married accountant currently living in Atlanta, over 150 miles from Thomas’s home.

It’s unknown why Campbell was in the area.

Thomas spoke to the Daily Mail about his brush with death. Note that Campbell was wearing an Antifa-looking mask at the time of the incident.

Thomas said that Campbell first caught his eye as he drove down his road at around 55 miles per hour before coming to a sudden, screeching halt.

The Republican homeowner said he checked his security cameras, and watched a man wearing an ‘Antifa-style mask’ emerge from his Jeep Cherokee to inspect a Trump banner attached to a bus parked on the Thomas family property.

“He was driving along, saw the sign, slammed on his brakes, you know, had a political trigger moment, and he just had to tear the sign down,” Thomas said.

“He started reaching up on his tippy toes, trying to get to the edge of the sign. I just thought to myself, this is not happening. I don’t believe this,” he added.

Thomas then explained that he grabbed his gun as he feared for his life.

‘I’m a Trump supporter. I have weapons for my protection and my enjoyment, and I keep them handy, he stated.

“You know, what good are they if you can’t get to them when you need them? So I reached over and grabbed my rifle.”

Thomas said he ventured out to his porch while armed and fired a couple of warning shots so Campbell could see him.

But this did not deter Campbell.

More from the Mail:

“By this point, he had ripped the sign off, and he just whipped it up and then threw it down on the ground. Like he was proud of what he just did. I thought, Holy smokes,” Thomas said.

The intruder returned to his Jeep, but instead of heeding Thomas’ warning and leaving, he circled back down his road while raising a gun through the sunroof and firing multiple times, video shows.

Illegal Immigrant Who Was Living With Judge Pleads Guilty to Gun Possession

An illegal immigrant suspected of being a Tren de Aragua gang member and living with a judge in New Mexico has pleaded guilty to “illegally possessing firearms and conspiracy to destroy evidence,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in an Oct. 17 statement.

Cristhian Ortega-Lopez entered the United States illegally in 2023 under the Biden administration and was released into the country, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. Authorities allege that Magistrate Judge Jose Cano and his wife initially hired Ortega-Lopez for home repairs, later allowing him to live at their guesthouse.

Ortega-Lopez “posted numerous photos and videos of himself on social media accounts with weapons including an AR-15 style rifle, a semi-automatic handgun, and ammunition,” the DHS stated.

Tren de Aragua was designated as a foreign terrorist organization and a specially designated global terrorist group by the State Department in February.

In January, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) received an anonymous tip about Ortega-Lopez living in New Mexico while possessing firearms, which culminated in his arrest at the judge’s house the following month.

After Ortega-Lopez was arrested, Cano allegedly smashed a cellphone belonging to Ortega-Lopez with a hammer and discarded the remains, “believing it contained incriminating photos and videos,” according to the DHS.

Over 1,000 South Koreans Brutally Tortured, Drugged, Enslaved by Chinese-Linked Crime Syndicates in Southeast Asia

Over 1,000 South Koreans were scammed, brutally tortured, drugged and enslaved by Chinese-linked crime syndicates in southeast Asia.

Via Yonhap News.

Horrific video was released showing the South Koreans being electricuted and beaten by their handlers.

A massive human trafficking and torture network has been uncovered in Cambodia, involving more than one thousand South Koreans who were deceived, confined, and forced into criminal labor under Chinese-run compounds.

Many of these victims were subjected to forced drug injections to keep them awake or submissive while carrying out online fraud and money-laundering operations for their captors.

According to Yonhap News (Oct 20, 2025) and multiple verified Korean sources, the body of a 22-year-old South Korean university student was found in Kampot Province after he had been abducted, tortured, and killed. His death represents only one case within a much larger system that continues to operate across Southeast Asia.

Thousands of Koreans—mostly young men and women—were lured by fake employment ads and trafficked into Chinese-controlled criminal compounds in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
Once inside, they were stripped of their passports, confined behind guarded fences, and beaten, electrocuted, drugged, and forced to work up to 20 hours a day.
Those who resisted were brutally punished or killed.

Leaked footage and survivor accounts show victims being forced to scam their own citizens online, turning them into both perpetrators and victims under extreme duress.
Several survivors reported that captors used narcotics and psychotropic drugs to suppress resistance and maintain total control.
