Feds have UFO transparency problem: Ex-security official

A former top-ranking U.S. security official believes the federal government needs to be more transparent in its attempts to engage with detected unidentified anomalous phenomena rather than trying to hide its encounters from the general public.

Christopher Mellon, who served as the deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence in the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations, told NewsNation’s “Reality Check with Ross Coulthart” in an interview that he believes the government is making a mistake in classifying information about UAPs.

While information that is potentially damaging to national security must be classified, other materials, including videos of U.S. encounters with UAPs, should be released to the general public, Mellon believes.

“There is a real gap here and a problem in terms of transparency, and I think, unfortunately, many people in the intelligence community, it’s part of the culture to think that the less we share, the safer we are,” Mellon said in the November interview,

In 2017, Mellon provided The New York Times and Washington Post with videos of UAPs by U.S. Navy pilots between 2004 and 2015.

The release of the videos came in a bombshell New York Times report that unveiled a classified Pentagon UFO program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program that was overseen by government officials.

Mellon told Coulhart that the videos he provided the two newspapers had previously been investigated by the U.S. Air Force and were confirmed as “unclassified” because they did not threaten national security. The videos enhanced national security by raising awareness of our vulnerability and the activity that needs to be addressed.

After that happened, the defense department created a classification system for UAPs that Mellon said seems to indicate that “anything and everything having to do with UAPs” is classified.

“It Needs to Get Out As Soon As Possible” – New FOIA Emails Reveal CIA Panicking as They Rushed Approval of Hunter Laptop Letter

New FOIA emails obtained by Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch show the CIA panicking and making sure all hands were on deck to stop the Hunter Biden laptop from hell spreading like wildfire shortly before the 2020 election.

In October of 2020 – just days before the presidential election – 51 former intelligence officials signed and published a letter that baselessly decried the contents of Hunter’s ‘laptop from hell’ had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

This was a lie.  They all knew it was a lie. The fake news media ran with the story anyway.

Mike Morell, former CIA acting director under Obama immediately sent out an email making sure the infamous Hunter laptop letter by the 51 spies who lied was approved.

“This is a rush job, as it needs to get out as soon as possible,” Morell wrote in an email on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 6:36 a.m., to the CIA’s Publications Classification Review Board (PCRB) with a copy to Marc Polymeropoulos, a former CIA senior intelligence officer.

Fulton County Moves To Destroy 2020 Election Ballots

VoterGA.org has released a statement on Fulton County’s attempt to destroy 2020 election ballots. The press release is below:

ATLANTA, GA, JUNE 25, 2024 – Attorneys for Fulton County Georgia argued in the Fulton counterfeit ballot case yesterday that a temporary injunction to preserve the 2020 Fulton election ballots should be lifted, which would allow ballots to be destroyed before they are unsealed, copied and revealed to the public. They also argued Fulton should receive attorney fees for the case even after a Georgia Supreme Court overturned lower court decisions to confirm standing for the Plaintiffs who seek to copy and inspect the ballots.

Attorney Laura Moore argued on behalf of Fulton Superior Court Clerk Che Alexander, who was present in the courtroom, that there is no longer room in a secure warehouse cage for the ballots so they may now be destroyed. Attorney Moore withheld from the court facts that Fulton County just opened a new 60,000 sq. ft. Election Operations warehouse at nearly $30 million of initial cost and an additional $4 million annual lease for Fulton taxpayers.

FBI Wants 20 Years To Produce Records On Its Involvement W/ OKC Bombing

It’s been about nine years since Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records about a CIA asset and FBI informant who helped fund the Oklahoma City bombing, as well as for records about a neo-Nazi bank-robbery gang also involved in the attack.

Tired of waiting, Trentaudue sued the FBI over the matter in February, demanding the bureau to produce the 69,375 pages of documents that it’s holding. But now, the FBI wants to take another nearly 12 years to fork over those documents to him, which means that it would take at least 20 years for the bureau to comply with his initial FOIA request.

Such a slow production rate is unacceptable, Trentadue said in a Tuesday court filing.

“The FBI proposes to process these records/documents for release to Plaintiff in monthly increments of 500 pages over a period of 11.5 years!” he said.

“If the Court accepts the FBI’s proposed snail-pace processing of these materials, Plaintiff will be close to 90-years of age when he finally receives all of them,” he said.

He has already waited almost a decade for these documents/records, with the FBI having made no effort during the interim to produce them, and should not have to wait another 11.5 years to receive them.”

Trentadue has been suing the U.S. government for OKC bomb-related records for nearly 30 years, ever since his brother was murdered in a federal penitentiary. The complex story of how the death of Trentadue’s brother relates to the OKC bombing can be read in this Mother Jones article.

Trentadue’s latest lawsuit seeks records on FBI informant and CIA asset Roger Moore (not the James Bond actor), and the bank-robbery gang, the Aryan Republican Army, which he says was an FBI front group.

According to Trentadue’s lawsuit, Moore was an FBI informant as part of the bureau’s 1980s- and early 90s-era Operation Punchout, which was designed to identify and apprehend surplus dealers that bought and sold government property stolen from Department of Defense facilities in Utah.

Furthermore, Moore build patrol boats for use by the US Navy in the Vietnam War, as well as speedboats for the CIA, according to Aberration in the Heartland of the Real—historian Wendy Painting’s PhD thesis-turned-book about OKC bomber Tim McVeigh.

As for the Aryan Republican Army, Trentadue believes that was an FBI front group that also helped fund the bombing.

‘Colossal public interest’: Mainstream media, conservative groups fire back at DOJ rationale for withholding audiotapes of President Biden’s special counsel interview

As a fight to obtain audiotapes of Joe Biden’s five-hour interview with special counsel Robert Hur carries on in court, both a coalition of mainstream media organizations and conservative groups agree that the 46th president should not be able to hide behind executive privilege and worries of “deepfakes” to avoid disclosure in the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) case.

The Heritage Foundation, Judicial Watch, and the media coalition, composed of CNN, ABC, The Associated Press, CBS News, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, Reuters, and more, separately filed documents Friday opposing the motion for summary judgment that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s DOJ filed in late May.

The Heritage Foundation, calling this a “simple case despite the efforts of the Government to complicate it,” offered counterpoints to DOJ assertions that the public’s access to the transcripts of Hur’s Biden interview is more than sufficient in light of foreseeable “privacy harms.”

“While the transcript discloses spoken words (the ‘lexical’ portion of the interview), the audio recording is the only source of the ‘non-lexical’ portion that depicts the tone, tenor, cadence, pauses, hesitations, and other demeanor evidence of the interview,” wrote attorney Samuel E. Dewey. “As any junior trial lawyer can attest, a witness’s live recording speaks volumes more than a cold transcript of the same testimony.”

“Special Counsel Hur testified to Congress that he relied upon this ‘demeanor’ evidence to reach his controversial decision to recommend against criminal charges,” the filing continued.

New Video Shows Saudi Official Plotting 9-11 Attacks in Washington DC Prior to the Massacre of 3,000 Americans – FBI Has Been Holding the Video for Over 20 Years

Chris Cuomo played video on Friday night that shows a Saudi official plotting the 9-11 attacks that killed 3,000 Americans.

The video aired on News Nation and shows a Saudi official plotting the attack in Washington DC.

This is the first time The Gateway Pundit has seen this video.

Chris Cuomo: There’s a story that’s out right now that you have not been smothered with today. The more I think about it, it has been eating at me all day about how blanked up this is. We all remember 9/11. I guess we remember. Maybe we don’t? Maybe we don’t. Maybe time does heal all wounds unless you were directly affected, like the families who are forever scarred and the families of the first responders, etc.

But this CBS video, well, it’s CBS just got a video that supports an allegation that was made in a lawsuit by the 9/11 families that it wasn’t just about Osama bin Laden, not just Al Qaeda. This guy is a Saudi official, and that the Saudi government was involved.

Now, is this the first time we’ve ever heard this? No, but we’ve never given a damn. That’s the part that just finally slapped me today as someone who supposedly cares about what happened that day because I lost so many people I knew and we would never forget, and all these things.

In the CBS video, Omar al-Bayoui, whom the FBI says was a Saudi operative. In the video al-Bayoui is seen casing the US Capitol in Washington DC, the likely target of the Flight 93 operation that was thwarted that day by American passengers and heroes.

The video was found by British police during a raid on Bayoumi’s UK apartment days after the 9-11 attacks.

Biden Seeks to Delay COVID Vaccine Safety Data Release Until 2026.

The Biden government is seeking an 18-month delay in releasing COVID-19 vaccine safety data, pushing potential disclosure until at least 2026. This regime claims an influx of pandemic-related information requests is overwhelming the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and that releasing vaccine records requires extensive staff training and onboarding, which could take up to two years.

“This is a typical government excuse which is,’ Oh, we’re so busy, we don’t have the resources to help provide you, the American people with the information that you need,’” says America First Legal lawyer, Gene Hamilton, representing Just the News, which is requesting vaccine safety records under freedom of information laws.

Hamilton characterizes the regime’s position on the vaccination records as, “you just need to wait until 18 months from now. And maybe you’ll get to see it, maybe you won’t. And what they’re hoping to do is stretch this out to the point where everybody forgets about it.”

America First Legal and Just the News are suing the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for data on Covid vaccine reactions “kept in a back-end, nonpublic system.” This is separate from the public Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

A Lancet review of 325 autopsies after COVID vaccination found that 74% of the deaths were caused by the vaccine – but the study was removed within 24 hours.

The paper, a pre-print that was awaiting peer-review, is written by leading cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, Yale epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch and their colleagues at the Wellness Company and was published online on Wednesday on the pre-print site of the prestigious medical journal.

However, less than 24 hours later, the study was removed and a note appeared stating: “This preprint has been removed by Preprints with the Lancet because the study’s conclusions are not supported by the study methodology.” While the study had not undergone any part of the peer-review process, the note implies it fell foul of “screening criteria”.

The original study abstract can be found in the Internet Archive.

New ‘compelling evidence’ found at Roswell UFO site could prove alien craft crashed in 1947, experts say

America’s most famous UFO case is still producing more evidence as scientists and civilians are on a mission to prove that the Roswell crash was not of this world.

The 1947 incident made headlines when the US Army Air Force issued a press release stating that it had recovered debris from a ‘flying disc’ — only later to reverse course, claiming that the material had really just belonged to a downed weather balloon.

Geologist Frank Kimbler is among the many experts who have challenged the military’s official version of what crashed on the outskirts of this New Mexico town, where he has scoured the alleged UFO’s crash site with a metal detector since 2010.

Kimbler has since uncovered over 20 unusual scraps of metal material, most no bigger than a fingernail, and has now submitted one uniquely odd metal for testing to the Discovery Channel’s new series ‘Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction.’

Testing revealed that the metal was ‘100-percent pure aluminum,’ which experts said was ‘compelling evidence’ that could prove aliens crashed in the area decades ago.

‘I was really trying to champion truth throughout,’ the new series’ cohost, Chrissy Newton, told DailyMail.com, adding that she was not afraid to debunk a few celebrated UFO cases, if that’s where the facts led.

‘I want to prove that it’s identifiable,’ Newton said, ‘not everyone’s gonna like that.’

Nevertheless, Newton found the tests on the pure aluminum mystery metal to be compelling, she said, in part because a former Pentagon UFO investigator has told her that ‘pure aluminum has been connected to multiple other UFO crash sites.’

While Newton did not name her Pentagon source, she described them as ‘a source formerly from AATIP,’ the US military’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, which from 2007 to 2012 had been tasked (in part) with studying UFOs.
