Damning statistics reveal how ABC, CBS and NBC obsessed over January 6 but ignored Biden’s family pardons

The mainstream media spent an average of 46 minutes covering Donald Trump‘s January 6 pardons but just three minutes covering Biden’s pardoning of his own family, new analysis has found.

Between January 20 and January 22, ABC, NBC and CBS devoted 15 times as much airtime to Trump’s pardons than they did Biden’s, the analysis by The Media Research Center found.

The anchors who led the coverage included ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and CBS’s Norah O’Donnell

Biden issued a series of preemptive pardons for family members James B. Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John T. Owens, and Francis W. Biden in the final hours of his administration.

He also pardoned younger brother James’ wife, Sara; his sister, Valerie; her husband, John; and his younger brother, Francis Biden, for ‘nonviolent’ actions dating back 10 years. In December, Biden pardoned son Hunter, despite vowing not to.

But newscasters barely covered it. Instead, they obsessed over the controversy surrounding Trump, the MRC found.

The study comes days as CNN and NBC recover from sweeping layoffs.

Schiff Considering Rejecting Biden Pardon For J6 Committee Amid Blowback

California Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff is considering rejecting a pardon that former President Joe Biden issued to all the people involved in the Congressional investigation into the January 6 riot, including himself.

During an interview on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” Schiff spoke about potential “blowback” from accepting a pardon because he spent years claiming — when President Donald Trump was serving in his first term — that accepting a pardon was an “admission of guilt.”

“And of course President Biden did issue pardons to members of the January 6th Committee. You were on the January 6th Committee. It came after President Trump said that he thought the entire January 6th Committee should go to jail. What’s interesting, Senator, you had been quite vocal. You didn’t want President Biden to give you a pardon. You went so far as to convey that to the White House. So, what are you going to do about the fact that you’ve now been given a pardon? Are you going to accept it, or are you planning to look for some type of legal recourse to reject it?” Welker asked Schiff.

“We’re looking at it. I’m not sure there’s much to be done given that it went to the whole committee. This is also, I think, unprecedented. You know, in the first instance it was a result of the president threatening – wrongfully threatening to go after people who oversee this misconduct in a legitimate committee process. Nevertheless, we’ll have to look at this as a committee to see if there’s anything to be done,” Schiff responded.

“What does that mean, you’re going to ‘look at it’? Does that mean that you’ll make a decision collectively about whether to accept these pardons?” Welker asked.

Schiff responded: “We have tried to operate together as a committee. And I think the law is unclear because this is, frankly, uncharted territory, whether pardons of this nature are like a law in which you’re powerless to say yea or nay, or there’s something different.”

Pfizer Agrees to $60 Million Settlement in Kickback Scandal for Allegedly ‘Bribing’ Doctors to Promote Migraine Drug — Defrauding Medicare and Other Federal Health Programs

Big Pharma Pfizer has agreed to a hefty $59.7 million settlement to resolve allegations of a kickback scandal that has defrauded Medicare and other federal healthcare programs.

The scandal revolves around Biohaven Pharmaceutical, a company acquired by Pfizer in October 2022, which engaged in unethical practices to push prescriptions of its migraine medication, Nurtec ODT, also known as Rimegepant.

Whistleblower Patricia Frattasio, a former sales representative at Biohaven, played a crucial role in bringing these malpractices to light, leading to a qui tam lawsuit under the False Claims Act in 2021.

The U.S. Department of Justice disclosed that from March 2020 through September 2022, Biohaven manipulated the healthcare system by offering kickbacks—including speaker honoraria and lavish meals at upscale restaurants—to healthcare professionals.

Allegations include that Biohaven paid some healthcare providers over $100,000 to boost prescriptions of their migraine medication, Nurtec ODT, resulting in fraudulent claims to federal programs like Medicare and Medicaid.

This egregious scheme involved not just ordinary incentives, but also repeated, unnecessary educational programs that offered no real benefit to attendees, turning these events into mere facades for bribery.

This practice, aimed at increasing Nurtec ODT prescriptions, breached anti-kickback statutes designed to keep medical decisions free from financial influence.

New Documents: Hunter Biden’s Name, Signature Tied To $60 Million Fraud Investigation

Recently pardoned Hunter Biden has once again found himself at the center of controversy, as newly surfaced bank records and corporate documents indicate that a shared bank account linked to the future first son was used in a fraudulent bond transaction tied to Burnham Asset Management. The firm was involved in a million-dollar securities fraud that saw two of Biden’s business partners arrested and convicted – while Hunter escaped accountability, Just the News reports.

Hunter’s former business partners, Devon Archer and Jason Galanis, were convicted for their roles in a scheme that defrauded an Oglala Sioux Native American tribal entity of tens of millions of dollars. Federal authorities found that instead of investing the funds as promised, Archer, Galanis, and their associates misappropriated the bond proceeds.

While Archer and Galanis faced prosecution, Hunter quickly faded into the bushes, telling lawmakers in his impeachment inquiry deposition that his proposed role in the company “never came to fruition.” However, bank records and a signature analysis reveal that Biden was more entangled with the firm than he has publicly acknowledged.

“Closer To Disinformation”: Ex-Politico Reporters Reveal How “Cowardly Editors” Helped Biden Win 2020 Election

Two former Politico reporters revealed how “cowardly editors” at their former publication carried water for Joe Biden in the 2020 election by actively working to suppress stories that were unflattering to Biden.

“Politico did that terrible, ill-fated headline: 51 intelligence agents, or former intelligence agents, say that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation, or bore the hallmarks of disinformation,” said Marc Caputo, now the senior politics editor at Axios. “Turns out that story was closer to disinformation because the Hunter Biden laptop appeared to be true.”

The other ex-Politico reporter, Tara Palmeri – who interviewed Caputo on her “Somebody’s Gotta Win” podcast, recalled how social media giants colluded to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, while Caputo noted that (pre-Musk) Twitter “punished” the New York Post for its accurate reporting – locking the outlet out of its account following a pressure campaign from the Biden DOJ.

“I was covering Biden at the time,” Caputo told Palmeri, adding: “And I was told this came from on high at Politico: Don’t write about the laptop, don’t talk about the laptop, don’t tweet about the laptop.”

Caputo added that he was working on a story about Hunter Biden’s shady dealings with Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma, which Politico editors “killed” during the 2020 Democrat primaries.

Whistleblower: FBI’s New Orleans Boss Stayed On Vacation after New Year’s Terrorist Attack

Apparently the second-deadliest foreign-inspired terrorist attack in the U.S. since 9/11 wasn’t enough for the boss of the New Orleans FBI field office to end his vacation early.

Early on New Year’s Day, 42-year-old Army veteran Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar rammed a pickup truck into a crowd in New Orleans’s famed French Quarter—killing 14 people who were celebrating the New Year. Police fatally shot Jabbar in a following firefight, and authorities later determined that the incident was inspired by the foreign terrorist organization ISIS.

Despite that, New Orleans FBI Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil took several more days to return to the office, according to a whistleblower working with the office of Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

“Myrthil vacationed in Europe from late December to early January, which included New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and the Sugar Bowl and took multiple days to return to New Orleans after the terrorist attack on January 1,” Grassley said in a Tuesday letter to FBI Acting Director Brian Driscol and Acting Attorney General James McHenry.

The FBI failed to note this in any of the joint briefings it provided to Congress and must provide more information.

Are the cover-ups and corruption at the power station that’s Britain’s biggest green hoax – and burns 27 million trees a year – finally about to be exposed?

Since it began to change from burning coal 15 years ago, Drax has got through the equivalent of 300 million trees. Most – and currently all – of this wood was imported from North America because we just do not grow enough here. You would have to burn the entire New Forest every two years just to fuel this one power station.

Drax is strangely reluctant to boast about its unique activity. In a lengthy statement released this week to justify its wood burning, its spokesman managed to avoid using the words ‘wood’ and ‘tree’ altogether, preferring to talk about ‘biomass’.

‘We understand that we need to do more to demonstrate that the biomass we use is genuinely sustainable and that we are taking the necessary steps to operate our business responsibly,’ said the spokesman.

Drax is Britain’s largest emitter of carbon dioxide, another record the company refrains from mentioning. It produced nearly 12 million tonnes of the gas in 2023, which is significantly more than when it was burning coal.

That is not counting the emissions from the diesel trucks that bring the trees from the forests to where they are turned into pellets; from the diesel-powered ships that bring the pellets across the Atlantic; or from the trains that finally bring the fuel from the Tyne to Drax.

Incredibly, Drax’s 12 million tonnes of emissions are not included in Britain’s carbon accounts. They are deemed to be emitted in Canada and America – even though the combustion happens in North Yorkshire.

Disgusting way woke activist destroyed Dunkin’ worker’s life just because he supported Trump

Maine liberal journalist has admitted to falsely accusing a Donald Trump supporter of providing drugs and alcohol to a minor to get him fired from his job.

Chris J. Barry, 56, who goes by the moniker Crash Barry, confessed to making harassing phone calls to right-wing activist Nick Blanchard’s place of work.

The two men appear to have a lengthy feud over their differing political views, including 35-year-old Blanchard’s involvement in the January 6 Capitol riot and his local school board meetings protests.

Barry owned up to the fraudulent calls in a Substack post titled ‘Mea Culpa,’ claiming Blanchard’s celebration of Trump’s inauguration pushed him over the edge.

First, the journalist confessed that when he learned Blanchard was hired as a manager at a local Dunkin’ Donuts, he decided to call to the establishment.

He did not divulge the details of the call but said, ‘According to my source, the owner ran a background check on him and the job offer was subsequently withdrawn.’

Barry then admitted that Blanchard’s posts on Inauguration Day infuriated him so much that he ‘decided to teach the a**hole a lesson.’

‘I wanted to teach the son-of-a-b***h a lesson. Give ‘em a taste of his own medicine, so to speak.’

Guess Who Elizabeth Warren Blamed for Biden’s Family Pardons?

Elizabeth Warren, everyone’s favorite senator from Massachusetts, appeared on CNN on Monday night to talk about, I don’t know, maybe hunting and gathering? The first Thanksgiving? How the white man drove her from her land?

But at some point, Anderson Cooper asked her about the familial pardons Joe Biden issued about 15 minutes before leaving the White House and heading off to Shady Pines or wherever they sent him.

“The last-minute pardons by then President Biden to his family members, you know there were pardons earlier this morning which were reported on, but these last-minute pardons, he chose to, I mean, make it last minute when there wouldn’t be as much attention, obviously, and they wouldn’t kind of overshadow the ride to the capitol — was that a mistake?” Cooper asked.

Initially, Warren replied with a simple statement: “The president — President Biden — should answer for himself.”

Fair enough. But she couldn’t leave it at that. Not only did she not leave it for Biden to “answer for himself,” but she also went on to blame someone else for these sneaky, last-minute pardons: Donald Trump.

Warren explained that poor Biden is just a kind-hearted old family man who had no choice but to make these pardons out of fear that Trump might try to use his sweet little family against him just because Trump doesn’t like him.

But it’s a sad day in America when someone leaving office has to look around and say, ‘Am I facing a new president and a new administration who is going to come after my family just because they’re my family, that’s gonna come after the people I love just because love them? Not because they’re accused of any crimes. Not because they’ve done anything wrong. But just because they’re the people I care about.’ And ever since Donald Trump has said a big part of his argument for being president is that it would be about retribution, it would be about vengeance — and he used it today. There he is, making his speech after he’s been inaugurated as president, and it’s still full of how he was wronged and he was the one who was mistreated. Dang, guy, you were just elected president of the United States and just sworn in. Come on, enjoy the moment. But no, it’s about how he has been mistreated and he will get even. That’s not how we run a government and make it work. This is not about personal vengeance. We run a government ot make it work for people. That’s how it’s supposed to be in a democracy.

Oh, come on, Pocahontas. I’m not even sure Cooper was buying your gaslighting. And if that’s the real reason why Biden pardoned his family members, he would have done it loudly and proudly in front of the whole nation to continue his efforts to make Trump look bad, not in some kind of hush-hush last-minute backroom kind of deal.

Even Hunter Biden was pardoned out in the open, much to the dismay of both Democrats and Republicans. Given that most of us had never even heard some of the rest of these Biden family names, the whole situation left the portion of the country with any brain cells wondering what else this corrupt family was hiding.

This Corrupt Biden Pardon May Already Have Caused Innocent Deaths

Former President Joe Biden’s last-minute clemency decisions included pardoning his son Hunter, Joe Biden’s siblings and their spouses, and commuting the capital sentences of almost every federal prisoner on death row. They have drawn a boatload of public attention and justified criticism. Indeed, some will likely cost people their lives.

That is clear in the pardon Biden issued to arms trafficker Viktor Bout. Last October, The Wall Street Journal reported that, in August 2024, the Houthis in Yemen sent emissaries to Moscow to purchase $10 million in automatic weapons. There, according to the WSJ’s sources (which included a European security official), the Houthi agents met Viktor Bout, an infamous arms trafficker responsible for perhaps hundreds of thousands of deaths.

Bout once was the Number 2 person on America’s Most Wanted List, right after Osama bin Laden, to whom Bout had sold weapons. As Douglas Farah and Stephen Braun explained in their book Money, Guns, Planes, and the Man Who Makes War Possible, Bout was a former Soviet Air Force lieutenant colonel.

After the Soviet Union fell, he made a career out of selling military-grade weapons such as disassembled attack helicopters, tanks, surface-to-air missiles, anti-tank rocket-propelled grenades, mortars, artillery rounds, AK-47 automatic rifles, sniper rifles, and night-vision equipment. He became “the preeminent figure atop the world’s multibillion-dollar contraband weapons sale, an underground commerce that is outpaced in illicit profits only by global narcotics sales.”

Bout sold weapons to any despot with cash. He “was chummy with a succession of African dictators, including Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, Zaire’s Mobutu Sese Seko and Liberia’s Charles Taylor, the latter of whom paid him in conflict diamonds and whose child soldiers operated the antique Antonov cargo planes that Bout sold him,” Yahoo News Senior Correspondent Michael Weiss wrote.

In Sierra Leone, for example, Bout supplied the Revolutionary United Front (RUF), with weapons that enabled RUF fighters “to carry out campaigns that were as chilling and destructive as their names: ‘Operation No Living Thing’ and ‘Operation Pay Yourself.’” Those were led by commanders who “dubbed themselves with equally mordant nicknames: Kill Me Quick, Superman, Poison, Mosquito, and Mosquito Killer.” Thousands of “survivors” were maimed by the RUF, which “often mocked their victims before amputating their limbs” by “asking them if they wanted to be ‘short-sleeved’ or ‘long-sleeved.’”

Bout eventually was arrested for offering to sell 700–800 surface-to-air missiles and 20,000–30,000 automatic weapons to undercover federal agents posing as Colombian guerillas. Convicted of conspiring to kill U.S. nationals, and of conspiring to support a terrorist organization, Bout was sentenced to a lengthy prison term.
