Louisiana Governor Signs Bill Authorizing Surgical Castration For Child Sex Offenders

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry has signed into law a bill that would allow state judges to sentence those convicted of sex crimes against victims under the age of 13 to undergo surgical castration.

Senate Bill 371, sponsored by state Sen. Regina Ashford Barrow, is expected to take effect on Aug. 1 following the Republican governor’s signature on June 18.

The law allows Louisiana judges to punish offenders aged 17 and older with surgical castration if they are convicted of aggravated sex crimes against a victim under the age of 13.

The Department of Public Safety and Corrections will oversee the procedure, but it will not be performed if “not medically appropriate,” according to the bill.

Under the law, a court-appointed medical expert will need to determine whether the offender is “an appropriate candidate” for surgical castration within 60 days from the imposition of sentence.

“In all cases involving an offender sentenced to a period of incarceration or confinement in institution, the procedure shall be performed not later than one week prior to the offender’s release from the institution,” the legislation reads.

If an offender “fails to appear” as required by court order for surgical castration, the offender may be charged and sentenced to three to five years in prison without the “benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence,” according to the new law.

The bill garnered bipartisan support in the state legislature. During a committee hearing in April, Republican state Sen. Valarie Hodges described the measure as “a consequence” for offenders guilty of committing sex crimes against children.

“It’s a step over and beyond just going to jail and getting out,” Ms. Hodges said, according to The Associated Press.

FBI is investigating a secretive religious sect after child sex abuse allegations spanning decades

Disturbing allegations of child sex abuse within a secretive religious sect of Christianity are being brought to light after several former members came forward to share their stories.

The sect is known as the Two by Twos (2×2) or The Church with No Name, and its ministers – who are called “workers” — travel in pairs from home to home of church members to spread the gospel.

But a recent year-long investigation conducted by ABC News, which aired on the season finale of IMPACT by Nightline, revealed that hundreds of people in the religious organization were sexually abused as children.

The allegations are so widespread that the FBI has started an investigation into the church, it announced in February.

Dozens of alleged victims, from at least 34 states, shared their stories with ABC News. There were claims of abuse that dates back to the 1950s and some victims accused the same person of abuse decades apart.

The outlet also reached out to over 20 former and current leaders, known as “overseers,” but all denied knowing about the widespread abuse.

Political Consultant With Lincoln Project Ties Arrested For Child Sex Crimes

Joel Searby, a veteran political consultant who headed up ex-CIA officer Evan McMullin’s independent presidential bid in 2016, has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies relating to child sex crimes.

Searby, 43, is charged with felony counts of lewd and lascivious behavior, communicating to lure a minor, traveling to lure a minor and using a device to commit a felony. He is currently being held at the Alachua County Jail without bond.

According to the arrest report, Searby used the messaging platform Snapchat to send inappropriate pictures and text messages to a 15-year-old boy. He later attempted to lure him to a meeting for sex acts.

Searby used a fake name and photo in order to coordinate the meetup, police said.

The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office took over the boy’s account in order to continue communication with Searby. This led to a judge granting a search warrant for the consultant’s home.

Searby allegedly told the boy that he had a “secret crush” on an older man in his 40’s when he was around the boy’s age. He wrote that they first kissed and then “did more stuff in secret whenever we could. He kind of taught me stuff. …”

According to the report, Searby then asked the victim if he “Would ever do something like that?” The victim then replied with, “maybe I would have to think abt it.”

The consultant then went into detail about his sexual encounters with his “secret crush” before asking if the boy would ever “do that stuff.”

Searby also stressed that the boy would need to keep things secret. “I’m super secret. I have to know you will keep it between us. It’s a huge deal,” Searby wrote, according to the report.

Searby was ultimately arrested without incident on Friday.

Portland Leftist Tries to Protect “Brown Man” Allegedly Texting and Trying to Meet 14-Year-Old Girl

A video clip shows a leftist woman in Portland trying to intervene and ensure a “brown man” who allegedly texted and tried to meet up with a 14-year-old girl wasn’t being harassed.

The clip was posted by a self-proclaimed “predator hunter” group called People v. Preds.

The predator hunter approaches a man called Sam and asks him, “So you know why I’m here obviously right?”

He then tells the man that he is not here to hurt him and just wants to have a conversation with him.

The man agrees to talk about why he is allegedly trying to meet up with a child after texting her before a woman with short hair is seen approaching from behind.

“I live in the neighborhood and I do a lot of mutual aid for the houseless, I just wanted to make sure that he was not being harassed.”

“Oh am I harassing you, you wanna tell her why you’re here?” the predator hunter asks the man.

“Is everything okay?” asks the woman, to which he responds, “Not really.”

“Do you want him to go away?” asks the woman, adding, “I just wanted to make sure that the brown person was safe, because we take good care of brown people in this city.”

The woman eventually walks off, prompting the predator hunter to laugh and remark on how this exchange is the most Portland thing ever.

The man then admits he thinks he’s been talking to the 14-year-old girl for a few weeks.

Progressive Rep. Pramila Jayapal laughs at news coverage of migrant who raped NYC 13-year-old girl

Something funny, Congresswoman?

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) had herself a good chuckle during an MSNBC interview this week in which she mocked news coverage of the case of an Ecuadorian migrant accused of having bound, gagged and raped a 13-year-old girl in a Queens park.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus chairwoman scoffed at a Fox News chyron during a Tuesday appearance on “The Reidout” that touched on the appalling June 13 attack by Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, 25, who admitted to cops he recorded his sick deeds.

“There’s a lot of fear-mongering,” Jayapal told host Joy Reid after hailing President Biden’s executive order to extend permanent residency status to migrant spouses of US citizens who have lived in the country for at least 10 years.

Reid then turned Jayapal’s attention to a sample of Tuesday’s media coverage.

“Here’s the three cable networks’ reporting of this,” the host said. “Our [MSNBC’s] banner said, ‘Soon: Biden announces legal protections for undocumented spouses of citizens.’ CNN’s banner said, ‘Biden announces new protections for some undocumented spouses.’”

“Here was Fox’s banner, ‘Migrant arrested for raping 13-year-old New York City girl,’” she added, inaccurately claiming that the cable news ratings leader did not cover the executive order on its Tuesday broadcasts.

Texas Children’s Hospital Shuts Down Child Sex Change Clinic After FBI Agents Intimidate Whistleblower, AG Lauches Investigation

The ongoing backlash against Texas Children’s Hospital was exacerbated this week after footage showing two FBI agents going to the home of a whistleblower went viral.

Since then the children’s hospital has closed its pediatric sex change clinic, according to a source who spoke with City Journal’s Christopher Rufo.

This decision to close also comes on the heels of a statement from a spokesman for Attorney General Ken Paxton, confirming an investigation into alleged Medicaid fraud at the hospital.

Rufo has been spearheading this story, revealing earlier in the week that special agents Paul Nixon and David McBride appeared outside the home of Vanessa Sivadge.

He reported that Sivadge helped expose an illegal gender program at the hospital after noticing alarming problems like depression, suicide attempts and discomfort with puberty amidst the “dramatic” rise in the number of trans children.

40 Percent of Police Officers Convicted of Child Sex Abuse Don’t Get Prison Time, Investigation Finds

A new investigation from The Washington Post has revealed that over the past two decades, almost 1,800 police officers were charged with crimes related to child sexual abuse. Even worse, of those convicted, nearly 40 percent managed to avoid prison time.

The investigation revealed a staggering lack of accountability for officers who sexually abuse minors—finding not only that convicted officers often received paltry sentences, but that police departments sometimes rehired officers with child sex abuse convictions.

The Post‘s analysis looked at thousands of court filings, as well as The Henry A. Wallace Police Crime Database, the county’s most comprehensive database of police arrests. The authors found that, between 2005 and 2022, around 17,700 police officers were charged with crimes—and 1 in 10 of those were charged with a crime involving the sexual abuse of minors.

The crimes officers were charged with varied, though most charges were for a few specific offenses. According to the Post‘s analysis, 39 percent of officers charged with child sexual abuse crimes were charged with rape. Twenty percent were charged with crimes related to child sexual abuse material (another term for child pornography) and 19 percent were charged with forcible fondling.

Eighty-three percent of charged officers were convicted. However, only 61 percent of convicted officers received prison time. Fifteen percent received local jail sentences, and a striking 24 percent received sentences as light as probation, fines, and community service.

But even those imprisoned received relatively light sentences. Half were sentenced to less than five years in jail.

Why did so many officers seem to get off easy for heinous sex crimes? According to the Post, it comes down to how prosecutors and judges treat police officers.

“Prosecutors have broad discretion in the types of charges they bring, the plea bargains they offer and the cases they are willing to take to trial,” the Post‘s analysis reads. “Judges play a critical role at sentencing hearings in determining what punishment officers deserve.”

Police departments also shoulder much of the blame.

American College of Pediatricians Blasts All Major Medical Associations for Pushing Radical Gender Transition Agenda on Children

In a bold defiance of mainstream medical tyranny, the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) has delivered a blistering condemnation of America’s leading medical institutions.

This coalition of healthcare professionals launched the “Doctors Protecting Children Declaration” on Thursday at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

This declaration, which is spearheaded by Dr. Jill Simons, Executive Director of the American College of Pediatricians, is an urgent plea to halt the radical gender transition protocols being imposed on vulnerable children.

The coalition, which includes a diverse group of physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and scientists, has raised the alarm about the severe physical and mental health risks associated with so-called “gender-affirming” care.

“We have serious concerns about the physical and mental health effects of the current protocols promoted for the care of children and adolescents in the United States who express discomfort with their biological sex,” said Dr. Simons during the press conference.

“This declaration was authored by the American College of Pediatricians, but really it was developed from the expertise of hundreds of doctors, researchers, and other health care workers and leaders who, for years, have been sounding the alarm on the harmful protocols that continue to be promoted by the medical organizations in the United States. Despite recent revelations from the leaked WPATH Files and the recent release of the final report from the Cass Review, these medical organizations have not changed course.”

Dr. Simons specifically named each of the major medical associations, criticizing them for promoting the gender transition agenda among vulnerable children.

Oregon Police Ripped For Bizarre Reason They Won’t Arrest Naked Person Who Allegedly Exposed Themselves To Child

A TikToker claimed a naked woman came up to his two-year-old son and exposed herself, however, the cop said no crime has been committed.

The exchange has since gone viral, with X users blasting Oregon law over a bizarre caveat.

“You’re saying in the state of Oregon some can walk up into to your two-year-old kid completely bare naked and that’s not a crime even if it’s on your property?” the Tiktoker pressed.

The cop responded, stating, “Correct. Well, so, it’s trespassing.”

“But what I’m saying is there’s no laws against the actual nudity portion of it,” he added, to which the TikToker interjected, “So you can expose yourself to children in Oregon.”
