Gross: CBS Reporter Lisa Ling Uses Her Young Child to Push Leftist Political Agenda Fueled by Trump Derangement Syndrome

CNN’s Lisa Ling, host of ‘This is Life’, used her young daughter to push her leftist political agenda and pass down her Trump Derangement Syndrome to the next generation.

In a video shared on Instagram, Ling seemed to be trying to teach her daughter compassion for illegals.  Instead, it seemed more like advocating for businesses to exploit undocumented workers with cheap wages.

Ling: So, Ray, what happened yesterday at our favorite ramen restaurant?

Daughter: There was only one worker.

Ling: Who was that worker?

Daughter: The owner.

Ling: Why was the owner the only one worker?

Daughter: Because of the situation of people getting taken to another country, and I think they’re scared.

Ling: So the entire staff at the restaurant didn’t show up to work. And this is the same restaurant that had the help wanted signs out for a long time, right?

Daughter: Mm-hmm.

Ling: So what do you think? Do you think that the restaurant is going to be able to survive with no workers?

Daughter: No.

Ling: And what do you think about the fact that workers are too scared to go to the places where they’ve been working so they can support their families?

Daughter: I think it’s sad, but I think it’s whatever Trump has to do. It’s not good.

Ling: Sad, though, right?

Daughter: Mm-hmm.

Bill Clinton Stuns CBS News Correspondent After Making Unbelievable Remarks Regarding Joe Biden’s Health

Former President Bill Clinton raised some eyebrows this morning after making some unbelievable comments about Joe Biden and health.

As TGP readers know, Biden has been hit with multiple elements of awful news from his prostate cancer diagnosis, the Tapper book, which has unveiled several disturbing details about the former White House occupant’s cognitive state, and the ongoing auto-pen scandal.

On Sunday, CBS News correspondent Tracy Smith interviewed Clinton and decided to ask him about his experiences with Biden. What he had to say in response is insulting to the intelligence of any sentient human being.

“There’s this book that talks about Joe Biden and the people around him, seeing that he had cognitive and physical decline,” Smith said. “Did you ever have a moment with him where you thought maybe he was unfit to run for president?”

“No, I thought he was a good president,” Clinton replied. “The only concern I thought he had to deal with was, could anybody do that job until they were 86?”

“I had never seen him, and walked away thinking he can’t do this anymore. He was always on top of his brief.”

‘60 Minutes’ anchor Scott Pelley ripped for ‘angry, unhinged’ commencement speech criticizing Trump

Outraged critics blasted longtime “60 Minutes” anchor Scott Pelley as “angry” and “unhinged” after he delivered a fear-laced tirade against President Trump during a commencement speech in North Carolina.

The CBS newscaster warned Wake Forest University’s graduating class on May 19 that “insidious fear” has infiltrated schools, businesses, and homes across the nation — leaving America in a state of “peril.”

“Your country needs you — the country that has given you so much is calling you, the class of 2025, your country needs you and it needs you today,” Pelley said during his grandiose sermon-like speech.

“This morning our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack, universities are under attack, freedom of speech is under attack and insidious fear is reaching throughout schools, our businesses, our homes and into our private thoughts,” he continued.

“The fear to speak in America. If our government is, in Lincoln’s phrase ‘of the people, by the people, for the people,’ then why are we afraid to speak? Ignorance works for power. Power can change the definition of the words we used to describe reality. This is an old playbook, my friends. There is nothing new in this.”

CBS News President Abruptly Resigns Amid Trump’s $20 Billion Lawsuit For Deceptively Editing ’60 Minutes’ Interview with Kamala Harris

esident Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit against the network’s parent company Paramount for deceptively editing a ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

“It’s become clear that the company and I do not agree on a path forward,” Wendy McMahon said in an email to staff just weeks after the top “60 Minutes” producer resigned.

President Trump originally sought $10 billion in damages, but earlier this year he amended the complaint and increased it to $20 billion.

The New York Times reported:

CBS News faced another shock wave on Monday after its president, Wendy McMahon, abruptly said that she would exit her post, the latest development in an ongoing showdown between the news division and President Trump.

Ms. McMahon, whose full title was president of CBS News and Stations, said in a memo that “it’s become clear the company and I do not agree on the path forward.”

Tensions between Ms. McMahon and CBS’s parent company, Paramount, have simmered for months, a period that Ms. McMahon described in her memo as “challenging.”

Paramount is in talks to settle a $20 billion lawsuit brought by Mr. Trump that accused “60 Minutes” of deceptively editing an interview last year with his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.

Many legal experts have called the suit baseless, but Paramount’s controlling shareholder, Shari Redstone, has said she favors settling the case. She is seeking the Trump administration’s approval for a multibillion-dollar sale of her company to a Hollywood studio, Skydance.

CBS executives are reportedly worried ongoing litigation with President Trump will interfere with a merger with Skydance.

CBS scores Emmy nomination for ‘60 Minutes’ Kamala Harris interview at center of $20B Trump suit

The controversial “60 Minutes” interview at the center of President Trump’s high-stakes lawsuit against CBS News is now an Emmy-nominated program.

The nominations for the 46th News & Documentary Emmy Awards were announced Thursday.

“60 Minutes” landed several nods, most notably in the Outstanding Edited Interview category for its primetime special featuring then-Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Other nominees in that category include CBS’ interviews with Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and the late Pope Francis, as well as NBC’s interview with Celine Dion and ABC’s interview with Brittney Griner.

“Of course it’s nominated for best editing because it takes some serious talent to edit Kamala’s answer into something that’s coherent and understandable, which in the end they still failed to do,” White House communications director Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital.

Neither CBS News nor representatives for Trump’s legal team responded to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.

Fake News Has No Shame: “60 Minutes” Picks Up 13 Emmy Nominations Including Segment Where They Selectively Edited and Spliced their Kamala Harris Interview before Election

Fomer CNN star Brian Stelter announced Thursday on X that “60 Minutes” picked up 13 Emmy nominations this year for their junk reporting.

The Emmy’s even nominated the infamous Kamala Harris interview they selectively edited and spliced sentences together to make her sound like a normal human. It as quite a piece of work.

It was completely fake. But that didn’t stop the Emmy’s from nominating their fake news segment in the television news and documentary category.

In the runup to the 2024 election, Fake news 60 Minutes was caught editing Kamala’s answers to make her sound coherent and normal.

it was so bad that ’60 Minutes’ spliced her nonsensical answer and replaced it with a completely separate sentence she said earlier in the interview.

Mixing and matching questions and answers. This isn’t journalism. It’s fraud.

Here is a sampling of the fake news they pushed on Americans.

CBS News owner Paramount ready to settle Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit over ’60 Minutes’: report

CBS News owner Paramount Global is reportedly ready to settle President Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit over the “60 Minutes” interview last year with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

Paramount’s board has drafted acceptable financial terms for a potential settlement with Trump, The New York Times reported Tuesday, citing anonymous sources. However, the exact dollar amount is unclear.

Trump’s lawsuit alleges the TV news network deceptively edited a “60 Minutes” interview with Harris, who at the time of the interview was also the Democratic nominee in the presidential race.

In January, The Times reported that Paramount was having conversations with Trump to settle the lawsuit, which at the time was for $10 billion, before Trump increased it to $20 billion in February.

Last week, the executive producer for “60 Minutes” said he was stepping down from his role because he could no longer objectively oversee the show as it faces backlash over Trump’s lawsuit.

Earlier this month, Trump posted on Truth Social that he is “so honored to be suing 60 Minutes, CBS Fake News, and Paramount, over their fraudulent, beyond recognition, reporting,” adding that the network did everything possible to “illegally elect” Harris and that it “must be responsible for what they have done and are doing.”

Trump Says “Out Of Control” CBS’ 60 Minutes Should “Lose License”

Late Sunday night, President Donald Trump unleashed a Truth Social bomb, accusing CBS’ 60 Minutes of routinely airing “derogatory and defamatory” stories about him — but said this weekend’s broadcast on the left-wing network “tops them all.”

“Almost every week, 60 Minutes, which is being sued for Billions of Dollars for the fraud they committed in the 2024 Presidential Election with their Interview of Failed Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris, mentions the name “TRUMP” in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this weekend’s “BROADCAST” tops them all,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The president continued: “They did not one, but TWO, major stories on “TRUMP,” one having to do with Ukraine, which I say is a War that would never have happened if the 2020 Election had not been RIGGED, in other words, if I were president and, the other story was having to do with Greenland, casting our Country, as led by me, falsely, inaccurately, and fraudulently.”

Trump reiterated his ongoing $20 billion lawsuit against 60 Minutes over its “fraudulent, beyond recognition, reporting,” including allegations that it deceptively edited an interview with failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris ahead of last fall’s election.

Fired CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge reveals photos of files on Hunter Biden, COVID origins seized by network: ‘Attack on investigative journalism’

Fired CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge posted photos of the confidential files seized by the network — which “included sensitive reporting about COVID-19 origins and Hunter Biden.”

The award-winning investigative journalist — who was dismissed last February as part of wider layoffs by embattled parent company Paramount Global — stirred up a firestorm in her bid to regain the materials before the network gave back the items weeks later.

“Exactly one year ago, @CBSNews returned my investigative reporting files,” Herridge wrote on X on Wednesday.

“Today, I am releasing photos of the records for the first time so you can see the sheer volume involved.”

One photo showed stacks of folders next to a Home Depot-labeled box.

Herridge wrote that the material encompassed four large moving boxes weighing over 100 pounds in total that were seized by the network.

Herridge referred to CBS News’ actions as a “journalistic rape” and “an attack on investigative journalism.”

“I hope no investigative reporter has to suffer a similar injustice in the future,” she added.

A CBS News spokesperson declined to comment.

The incident led to a hearing last April by a House Judiciary subcommittee, titled “Fighting for a Free Press: Protecting Journalists and Their Sources.”

What the Hell Is Wrong With CBS News?

The weekendus horribilis (with apologies to anyone who actually knows Latin) at CBS News was a marvel to behold, as though division chief Wendy McMahon had spent days carefully laying a field full of rakes before donning clown shoes and dancing across the field to Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ la Vida Loca.”

As I’m sure you’re already aware, things kicked off Sunday morning with the social media backlash — I need a better, happier word than “backlash” — to “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan insisting to SecState Marco Rubio that the problem with the Nazis was all their free speech.

PJ’s own Sarah Anderson had that story for you in near real-time yesterday, but let me give you a brief rundown. Vice President JD Vance’s European address defending free speech was given “in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide,” is a thing Brennan actually said out loud on network television, perhaps because she lost a bet.

Sarah still has all the gory details in case you missed it yesterday.

Today, Victoria Taft nailed it with her column, echoing the principal in “Billy Madison.”

“Margaret,” Rubio could have said, “What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.”

My only issue with Victoria’s column is that I didn’t write it. Read the whole thing if you haven’t already.

But that was only the first of many dozen rakes CBS News stepped on last weekend.
