Green Bay City Clerk Claims Ignorance of Election Law to Justify Voter Registration Violations

Based on her admission, Green Bay City Clerk Celestine Jeffreys, a Democrat, has not been following the recommendations of the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) or obeying Wisconsin election law.

Last month, she formally admitted to the WEC in a legal filing that she has not been conducting thorough investigations into all voters with undeliverable election day registration (EDR) postcards, nor has she been inactivating the voters’ registrations or referring their names to the district attorney, as required by statute.

Ms. Jeffreys claims in the filing that “she was unaware that she was required to do each of these things.” She promised the WEC that she would do better.

“Clerk Jeffreys has admitted not only that she was not following Wisconsin election law, but that she did not know the law. There is no excuse for election officials not knowing the laws and rules. Clerk Jeffreys is derelict in her duty to enforce Wisconsin’s election laws,” said J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), a non-profit law firm that initiated the complaint against Ms. Jeffreys on behalf of three Green Bay registered voters.

The PILF asked the WEC to order Ms. Jeffreys to follow Wisconsin statutes and the WEC’s guidance on EDR, a directive that Ms. Jeffreys did not oppose.

The WEC has not made a determination in the case and did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Biden Spreads Misinformation About Trump Calling for a ‘Unified Reich’

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social account shared a new campaign video created by a random fan. The video featured fake snapshots of future newspaper headlines predicting widespread prosperity under a subsequent Trump presidency. The creator used a preexisting newspaper template and simply replaced some of the headlines, but some of the original text was still visible, and eagle-eyed users spotted a curious phrase: “the creation of a unified Reich.”

This prompted many, many, many people on X to proclaim that Trump had endorsed “the creation of a unified Reich,” with reference to the Third Reich, another name for Adolf Hitler’s Nazi government. The anti-Trump political group The Lincoln Project accused the former president of “openly copying Nazi language.” ABC reported that the ad used language “from Nazi Germany” and “referenced Adolf Hitler.” CNN’s Manu Raju confronted random Republicans in Congress and demanded that they answer for the advertisement. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D–Md.) said that Trump had used an “antisemitic dogwhistle.” Even Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich (no relation) opined that this was yet another example of hidden Nazi symbology embedded within the Trump campaign.

The Trump campaign disavowed the ad and deleted the Truth Social post.

But as it turns out, the assertion that Trump was tacitly endorsing some form of Nazi government is highly misleading, if not outright false. The video was made using a newspaper template that is widely available, and that template includes references to the world wars. Some have suggested the template actually refers to WWI, not WWII.

To be clear, the template is just that—a template. The point of the ad is obviously not to suggest that Trump’s policies have anything to do with the preexisting headlines.

Biden campaign to hire meme manager as president struggles for support from young voters

The Biden campaign is aiming to speak the language of youth by hiring someone to manage its content and meme pages, as the president’s reelection campaign struggles to connect with Gen Z voters.

In a job posting on Daybook, the campaign is looking to hire a partner to manage the campaign’s internet content, including memes. 

Memes have played a big part in how presidential candidates have tried to get the word out about their campaigns. 

The Biden campaign has lovingly adopted “Dark Brandon,” a meme that portrays an alter-ego of President Biden that was created after a reporter misheard chants of “F—- Joe Biden” as “Let’s Go, Brandon” as she was interviewing race winner Brandon Brown at the Talladega racetrack for the Xfinity series in 2021.

What started as a way for Biden haters to criticize the president eventually led to the Biden campaign leaning into the meme and embracing it. The profile picture for the Biden-Harris HQ page on X is the Dark Brandon picture, which shows Mr. Biden with red lasers shooting out of his eyes.

Most recently, Mr. Biden posted the Dark Brandon image after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl. It was meant as a joke about a conspiracy theory that he would rig the contest for the Chiefs to win, which would lead to a Biden endorsement from pop star Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs’ player Travis Kelce.

“Just like we drew it up,” the post on X said in February.

Mr. Biden’s X account trolled former President Donald Trump with a meme posted just last week. To celebrate the Dow Jones Industrial Average cracking the 40,000 mark for the first time in history, the Biden campaign posted a video of Mr. Trump during a 2020 debate predicting the stock market would crash if Mr. Biden won the election.

Mr. Biden reposted the video from his personal account and added a meme of himself holding an ice cream cone serving an “L” or “loss” to Mr. Trump.

Illegals Believe Trump Is Going To Win So They’re Surging The Border Now

Illegal immigrants are surging the border now because they believe Donald Trump is going to win the election in November and enforce security, according to a report quoting the illegals themselves.

The New York Post reports that the migrants “fear President Biden could lose re-election in November and Donald Trump will shut the border.”

Two brothers from Columbia who had crossed into the US and had eventually been put on a flight to New Jersey stated “We think with the elections, it will be harder,” adding “We don’t want Trump.”

It’s quite simple. The border is now wide open, and if Trump wins it will be slammed shut.

George Clooney Co-Hosting A Biden Fundraiser While Amal Clooney Sits On The Committee Indicting Israeli Officials and Hamas Leaders

Politics get confoundlingly complicated at times and 2024 leans into some of the more bizarre partisan politics ever in recent times as proven in the latest developments with George Clooney and Julia Roberts set to host a Biden fundraiser in California next month with Barack Obama, while Amal Clooney has been sitting on an advisory panel that resulted in the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant applications of Israel officials and Hamas leaders on Monday.

The Biden fundraiser scheduled for mid-June is designed to have Clooney and Roberts engage grassroots donors over social media. They are also expected to lend their names for the Biden campaign emails and text messages.

The U.K.-based international panel of legal experts, of which one was Mrs. Amal Clooney, a noted human rights lawyer, gave their unanimous consent to Karim Khan, the ICC prosecutor. Khan had announced months ago that he would investigate everyone involved in the October 7 Hamas attack inside Israel, as well as Israeli’s response inside Gaza. He is now seeking arrests warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders on war crimes charges.

“The attacks by Hamas in Israel on October 7 and the military response by Israeli forces in Gaza have tested the system of international law to its limits,” Clooney and other legal advisors wrote in an op-ed published in The Financial Times. The other members of the panel include: Lord Justice Fulford, Judge Theodor Meron CMG, Danny Friedman KC, Baroness Helena Kennedy LT KC, and Elizabeth Wilmshurst CMG KC.

“…The prosecutor has taken a historic step to ensure justice for the victims in Israel and Palestine by issuing applications for five arrest warrants alleging war crimes and crimes against humanity by senior Hamas and Israeli leaders,” the op-ed noted.

Presidential Debates Should Be More Frequent, and Tougher on Candidates

The presidency is powerful—entirely too powerful. Through mission creep, popular acclaim, and abandonment of responsibility by the legislative branch, the nation’s chief executive has gained near-unilateral authority to wage war and is rapidly acquiring similarly monarchical say over domestic policy. But the office is still elected. The American people are entitled to job interviews with hopeful candidates. Unfortunately, presidential “debates” barely fill that role, least of all the choreographed kabuki meet-ups between Joe Biden and Donald Trump scheduled for this summer.

“Trump feeds off the crowd, they give him life,” an anonymous Biden adviser told Politico about the exclusion of audiences from the events. “We wanted to take that away.”

Biden’s people are afraid that speaking in front of living, breathing humans plays to the presumed Republican candidate’s strengths (and, conversely, to Biden’s weaknesses), so they want it off the table. But that’s only one constraint placed on the gatherings planned for June 27 and September 10, specified by the Biden campaign and agreed to by Trump’s camp. The debates will bypass the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates and be hosted by CNN (June) and ABC News (September). They’ll exclude other presidential candidates. And the meetups will follow kindergarten rules, with the participants allowed to speak only in turn while the other candidate’s microphone is off.

This year’s strange, rule-bound “debates” are the inevitable culmination of a long process of making the meetups as easy as possible for Democratic and Republican standard-bearers. The Commission on Presidential Debates, which is so aggrieved to have been sidelined, was itself created by the major parties to craft situations friendly to their candidates after independent organizations, such as the League of Women Voters, refused to oblige.

Trump Throws Down the Gauntlet: Demands Biden Prove His Fitness with Pre-Debate Drug Test

President Donald Trump has thrown down the gauntlet, demanding that Joe Biden undergo a drug test before their upcoming debate.

Trump’s challenge came during his speech at the GOP’s annual Lincoln Reagan dinner event in St. Paul, Minnesota, which he attended after celebrating his son Barron’s high school graduation.

“I just wanna debate this guy, but you know – and I’m gonna demand a drug test too, by the way,” Trump said.

“I am. No, I really am. I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union. He was high as a kite,” Trump added.

The former president went on to criticize Biden’s performance during the State of the Union, stating that Biden appeared “jacked up” at the beginning but was “fading fast” by the end.

“We’re gonna demand a drug test… He’s going to be so jacked up for those, you watch.”

“I don’t know what he’s using, but that was not, hey, he was higher than a kite, and by the way it was the worst address I’ve ever seen,” Trump said.

Garland and Wray Launch “Election Threats Task Force,” Sparking Censorship Concerns for 2024

US Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Chris Wray have spoken about their departments’ plans regarding what they refer to as election threats.

The plans were laid out during a meeting of a Department of Justice (DoJ) outfit called Election Threats Task Force, which was set up in 2021, shortly after the previous presidential election.

Critics of the Biden White House – particularly the way it handles opponents and their right to free speech, often “in collaboration” with Big Tech – are suspicious about the timing of the announced measures.

This has to do with both the fact that the next election is less than six months away and that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Intelligence Experts Group has just been disbanded as a result of a lawsuit brought by America First Legal non-profit and Ambassador Richard Grenell.

Executive Director of the Foundation For Freedom Online Mike Benz has explained whatever is branded as a misinformation narrative is also considered to be the result of a campaign – and so “any US civilian who clicks the retweet button to amplify said narrative is deemed to be participating in said ‘campaign’.”

What Are They Up To? Biden Handlers Have List Of Demands Ahead Of Debates

The Biden campaign issued a list of conditions before making public his cringe “make my day, pal” video Wednesday and finally agreeing to debate Donald Trump.

As we highlighted, Biden claimed that Trump “hasn’t shown up for any” debates, despite the fact that Trump has been asking to get them started for months.

He also couldn’t manage to make a 14 second video without 5 or 6 edits in it, prompting many to ask how on Earth he expects to be coherent throughout a two hour debate.

Now it has emerged that Biden’s campaign has issued strict conditions for the debate.

The campaign says there must be no live audience and Trump’s mic must be muted when Biden is talking. 

They also stipulated that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cannot take part, and that the moderators have to be from CBS, ABC, CNN or Telemundo ONLY.
