Colombian woman charged with illegally voting in 2024 election stealing $400,000 in taxpayer funded benefits

A Colombian woman living illegally in the United States lived under a stolen identity for more than two decades, improperly received more than $400,000 in stolen federal benefits, and illegally voted in the 2024 presidential election, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

Lina Maria Orovio-Hernandez, 59, also obtained welfare benefits, a REAL ID and eight other state ID’s, the Justice Department said.

Orovio-Hernandez allegedly used the stolen identity to submit a fraudulent voter registration in January 2023, and cast a ballot in last year’s presidential election, prosecutors said. She was captured on surveillance camera at a bank wearing an “I voted” sticker on Nov. 5, 2024, Election Day, according to court documents.

She is charged with false representation of a Social Security number; making a false statement in an application for a United States passport; aggravated identity theft; receiving stolen government money or property; fraudulent voter registration; and fraudulent voting. Orovio-Hernandez has been held in federal custody since February, when she was charged with identity theft and other offenses.

Democrats Now Planning to Spend Millions of Dollars Trying to Find ‘Their Own Joe Rogan’

Democrats are increasingly convinced that one of the reasons they lost the 2024 election is because they didn’t have their own Joe Rogan. It never seems to dawn on them that they used to have their own Joe Rogan. His name is Joe Rogan. Rogan has always been a man of the center-left, but he walked away in this cycle because the left basically drove him away.

This is a common theme with Democrats. Years ago, they decided they needed their own Rush Limbaugh, which resulted in the failed Air America network. After losing the 2004 election, they decided they needed their own Drudge Report, which resulted in the creation of the Huffington Post. After they lost Congress in 2010, they decided they needed their own Tea Party, which brought us Occupy Wall Street.

Also, for all of their talk about wanting to get ‘big money’ out of politics, they’re certainly sparing no expense on this plan.

The New York Times reported:

Democrats Throw Money at a Problem: Countering G.O.P. Clout Online

Six months after the Democratic Party’s crushing 2024 defeat, the party’s megadonors are being inundated with overtures to spend tens of millions of dollars to develop an army of left-leaning online influencers.

At donor retreats and in pitch documents seen by The New York Times, liberal strategists are pushing the party’s rich backers to reopen their wallets for a cavalcade of projects to help Democrats, as the cliché now goes, “find the next Joe Rogan.” The proposals, the scope of which has not been previously reported, are meant to energize glum donors and persuade them that they can compete culturally with President Trump — if only they can throw enough money at the problem.

Democrats widely believe they must grow more creative in stoking online enthusiasm for their candidates, particularly in less outwardly political forms of media like sports or lifestyle podcasts…

“It needs to start with a legitimate investment,” said Marissa McBride, a Democratic strategist who leads a donor group called Mind the Gap. But she added, “There has to be something that is happening organically as well.”

The most hilarious part? The name for this initiative is ‘AND Media’ which stands for “Achieve Narrative Dominance.”

Incoming DOJ Investigation? Trump Demands Investigation Into Kamala Harris’s “Illegal Payments” to Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Oprah and Bono for Endorsements Disguised as “Entertainment”

President Donald Trump is calling for an investigation into a massive illegal scheme involving Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign and a slew of left-wing celebrity endorsements deceptively framed as “entertainment services.”

In a fiery late-night post on Truth Social, Trump torched Harris and her Hollywood cronies, alleging that her campaign engaged in illegal campaign finance activities by funneling massive sums of money to entertainers like Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Bono in exchange for endorsements under the guise of “performances.”

Trump: “HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???

I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter. Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment.

In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds. IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic “entertainers,” this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!”

“He Totally F*cked Us” – Kamala Harris Aide Fingers Biden for Election Loss in New Book

A top Kamala Harris campaign aide has come out with a tell-all on what he thinks went wrong and caused Kamala Harris’ humiliating defeat in the 2024 election.

And it wasn’t her utter incompetence, apparent sobriety issues, cringeworthy behavior, or the destruction caused by the Biden-Harris administration over four years. Instead, it was all Biden’s fault.

We’re not defending Biden, but Kamala Harris was just a terrible candidate. The blame falls on the entire Democratic party for propping up a low-IQ, unelected DEI presidential nominee. Following a honeymoon period where the fake news media and Democrats propped her up, she flamed out when the American people realized just how bad she is.

David Plouffe, the former Harris aide, made the comments in an interview for CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson’s upcoming book release, “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again.” The book is set to be released on May 20.

“It’s all Biden,” Plouffe said. Plouffe further claims that Biden’s decision not to drop out earlier “totally f*cked us.”

Tapper, one of the biggest shills for Biden and his “sharp as a tack” mental state, is now seeking to profit with a sham exposé of the Democrats’ cover-up.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday on another excerpt from the book, which  details “Biden’s physical deterioration” and how Biden’s handlers considered putting him in a wheelchair. Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, even worried that the continued stress on Biden or one more bad fall might kill him.

Colorado Postal Worker Pleads Guilty To Fraudulently Casting Multiple Mail Ballots In 2024 Election

Aformer Mesa County, Colorado, postal worker awaits sentencing after admitting she stole and cast mail-in ballots in the 2024 general election. It is one of those election crimes we are told does not happen, despite so many opportunities for fraud in the ballot chain of custody.

Vicki Stuart, 64, and her alleged accomplice Sally Jane Maxedon, 60, were accused of identity theft, attempt to influence a public servant, and forgery. Maxedon has not entered a plea yet and is expected in court May 8, according to Mesa County Clerk of Courts office.

According to the Mesa County District Attorney’s office which investigated the cases, in October, county elections workers started getting calls from people who said they had been notified that their ballot was rejected because of signature discrepancies, but they reported they had not yet received their mail ballot, although they had received the “Informed Mail “notification — a photo of the ballot envelope addressed to them, to let them know it was on the way.

The reports came from people who lived near each other. Some of the ballots were mailed to locked U.S. Postal Service (USPS) neighborhood mailbox clusters, leading investigators to believe someone who worked for USPS was involved.

Stuart, a mail carrier at the time, substituted for the normal mail carrier on the affected route on Oct. 12. When questioned, she confirmed she delivered many ballots that day.

But she also compared the name on the ballot to the name printed on individual mailboxes. If there was no match she held that ballot back. Stuart told investigators she marked them “return to sender” and sent them back to the main hub. USPS told investigators mail carriers should not do this because they don’t know all the names living at an address.

She denied any involvement with ballot theft when questioned on Oct. 24.

Investigators looked at five ballot envelopes with forged signatures that had not yet been opened, and checked for fingerprints on the ballots inside.

They found Maxedon’s fingerprints on at least one bogus ballot and then interviewed her on Nov. 5.

At first Maxedon told investigators the ballots were given to her by a random man she did not know who asked her to help test the voting system. She admitted casting ballots that did not belong to her, the DA’s complaint said.

CBS scores Emmy nomination for ‘60 Minutes’ Kamala Harris interview at center of $20B Trump suit

The controversial “60 Minutes” interview at the center of President Trump’s high-stakes lawsuit against CBS News is now an Emmy-nominated program.

The nominations for the 46th News & Documentary Emmy Awards were announced Thursday.

“60 Minutes” landed several nods, most notably in the Outstanding Edited Interview category for its primetime special featuring then-Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Other nominees in that category include CBS’ interviews with Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and the late Pope Francis, as well as NBC’s interview with Celine Dion and ABC’s interview with Brittney Griner.

“Of course it’s nominated for best editing because it takes some serious talent to edit Kamala’s answer into something that’s coherent and understandable, which in the end they still failed to do,” White House communications director Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital.

Neither CBS News nor representatives for Trump’s legal team responded to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.

Dem Rep. Eric Swalwell Vows Use of ‘Subpoena Power’ to Investigate Whether Elon Musk’s Starlink Rigged Election For Trump

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell has stoked a conspiracy theory Elon Musk used his Starlink satellite network to rig the 2024 presidential election for Trump.

During an appearance with a left-wing podcaster, Swalwell was asked about the integrity of the previous election and the role that Starlink may have played.

The host remarked:

The enemies allegedly stole U.S. data. The leak came through Elon Musk’s Starlink. I mean, I’m sure you’ve heard people, based on all of this information that’s happened since then, wonder if 2024 was secure. But more importantly, Representative, about 2026 and 2028, can you talk about that a little bit? Do you have concerns?

Swalwell, who is best known for being honey-trapped by a Chinese spy named Fang Fang, responded:

Elon Musk has done nothing in the last five months to make me think that we shouldn’t ask questions about what the hell he was doing in 2024.

Maybe we gave him too much of the benefit of the doubt, you know, after the election, but the way that he’s conducted himself with DOGE, and the way that, you know, he’s exposed us to so many hackers outside.

The way that he’s taken data, you know, from Americans, from our records — whether it’s Social Security or health care records, the only way that we can understand, you know, what the hell Elon Musk has been doing is to be in the majority.

Swalwell added that being in the majority would give Democrats “subpoena power,” which he would use to investigate the spurious allegations.

CBS News owner Paramount ready to settle Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit over ’60 Minutes’: report

CBS News owner Paramount Global is reportedly ready to settle President Trump’s $20 billion lawsuit over the “60 Minutes” interview last year with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

Paramount’s board has drafted acceptable financial terms for a potential settlement with Trump, The New York Times reported Tuesday, citing anonymous sources. However, the exact dollar amount is unclear.

Trump’s lawsuit alleges the TV news network deceptively edited a “60 Minutes” interview with Harris, who at the time of the interview was also the Democratic nominee in the presidential race.

In January, The Times reported that Paramount was having conversations with Trump to settle the lawsuit, which at the time was for $10 billion, before Trump increased it to $20 billion in February.

Last week, the executive producer for “60 Minutes” said he was stepping down from his role because he could no longer objectively oversee the show as it faces backlash over Trump’s lawsuit.

Earlier this month, Trump posted on Truth Social that he is “so honored to be suing 60 Minutes, CBS Fake News, and Paramount, over their fraudulent, beyond recognition, reporting,” adding that the network did everything possible to “illegally elect” Harris and that it “must be responsible for what they have done and are doing.”

GOP leaders mull 4-year sunset provisions for Trump tax benefits in reconciliation bill

House Republican leaders are considering making some of the key tax benefits that President Donald Trump promised on the 2024 campaign trail only temporary policies in the reconciliation bill that’s currently being crafted. A “sunset” period of four years is under consideration for policies such as eliminating taxes on tips, Social Security benefits and overtime pay, Just the News has learned.

The move has drawn criticism from a budget watchdog group, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, which has described the possibility of scoring certain tax benefits as temporary rather than permanent to estimate the full cost of the package as “manipulation” that wouldn’t show the true cost.

Hiding the true cost of Trump’s tax benefits

“This ad-hoc, inconsistent, manipulative, and disingenuous approach to budgeting is enough to make your head explode, and it is going to make the debt explode,” said Maya MacGuineas, president of the CRFB.

“Congress isn’t even pretending to do honest budgeting at this point. The whole argument behind the current policy baseline was that temporary policies should be counted as permanent – and yet here they are trying to count some of them as temporary,” she added.

Marc Goldwein, senior vice president at CRFB, told Just the News that scoring those policies as temporary would hide the true costs of such tax benefits.

“It’s completely hypocritical,” he said. “You should still score it on a permanent basis if you believe in current policy, but they don’t. They just believe in doing whatever is going to help them get their number. They don’t care about current policy or current law.”

Both parties have used budget reconciliation in past years, and they have included sunset provisions in legislation. What makes this situation unique, Goldwein explained, is that the GOP is considering making some policies permanent and others temporary within the same reconciliation bill and not scoring the cost of each over a 10-year period.

FBI memo examined activities of far-right radical Catholics ahead of 2024 election

In January of last year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation issued an 11-page memo outlining details of an investigation into what it called “radical traditionalist Catholic,” or RTC, elements within U.S. society.

Then the memo leaked. Republicans in Congress used the leak to accuse the Biden administration of persecuting Catholics and conservatives solely because of their beliefs.

The memo was quickly “withdrawn from FBI systems,” said an April 18 statement from the FBI. But a redacted copy of the document continues to linger online within the Justice Department, under whose jurisdiction the FBI falls.

So what does it say?

The FBI’s office in Richmond, Virginia, conducted the assessment. The memo’s executive summary said the presence of “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists” – known in FBI parlance as RMVE – “in radical-traditionalist Catholic (RTC) ideology almost certainly presents opportunities for threat mitigation.”

It added, “FBI Richmond makes this assessment with high confidence based on FBI investigations, local law enforcement agency reporting, and liaison reporting, with varying degrees of corroboration and access.”

The memo said, “According to an FBI Richmond contact with direct access reporting for the first time, prior to RMVE actor [redacted]’s [redacted] 2022 arrest he had been attending the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX)-affiliated [redacted] Virginia, for approximately seven months and was participating in catechism classes as part of the process to become baptized. Prior to attending [redacted] stated he wanted to find a church that was ‘anti-Zionist’ and ‘anti-progressive’ because ‘that’s where God lives.’”
