ACLU And Celebs Release Cringe Appeal To Allow Men In Women’s Sports

The American Civil Liberties Union has rolled out a new campaign pushing for biological males to compete in women’s sports, just as the Supreme Court takes up cases that could finally protect female athletes from unfair competition.

Featuring ‘stars’ including Megan Rapinoe and Naomi Watts, the ad frames this as a fight for “freedom,” when in reality it’s just another leftist assault on women’s rights and fair play.

The ACLU’s “More Than A Game” ad, launched during women’s basketball games on January 12, features celebrities and young people delivering lines like: “When you’re young, you believe that you can do anything. And then the world tries to set limits for you. Tell you what’s allowed, what is normal, who you’re supposed to be.”

It continues: “But on the field, the track, the court, here you get to be exactly who you want. Because at our core, we still are kids that just want to play. The go big game changers. The living, breathing fabric of this country.”

The ad closes with: “Supporting trans youth isn’t just about sports. It’s about freedom on and off the field. It’s more than a game.”

The campaign ties directly to Supreme Court cases challenging bans on transgender girls in school sports in West Virginia and Idaho.

Biden Judge Blocks ICE From Arresting Protestors or Using Crowd Dispersal Tools in Minnesota

A federal judge on Friday issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and blocked ICE from arresting so-called peaceful protestors.

US District Judge Katherine Menendez, a Biden appointee, also blocked ICE agents from deploying non-lethal munitions and crowd dispersal tools against protestors.

Six individuals sued The DHS, DHS Chief Kristi Noem and other federal agencies to restrict ICE’s tactics.

Approximately 3,000 federal agents have descended on Minnesota to arrest criminal illegal aliens.

Judge Menendez also ruled that protestors may ‘safely’ follow ICE vehicles.

The judge ruled:

Covered Federal Agents are hereby enjoined from:

a. Retaliating against persons who are engaging in peaceful and unobstructive protest activity, including observing the activities of Operation Metro Surge.

b. Arresting or detaining persons who are engaging in peaceful and unobstructive protest activity, including observing the activities of Operation Metro Surge, in retaliation for their protected conduct and absent a showing of probable cause or reasonable suspicion that the person has committed a crime or is obstructing or interfering with the activities of Covered Federal Officers.

c. Using pepper-spray or similar nonlethal munitions and crowd dispersal tools against persons who are engaging in peaceful and unobstructive protest activity, including observing the activities of Operation Metro Surge, in retaliation for their protected conduct.

d. Stopping or detaining drivers and passengers in vehicles where there is no reasonable articulable suspicion that they are forcibly obstructing or interfering with Covered Federal Agents, or otherwise violating 18 U.S.C. § 111. The act of safely following Covered Federal Agents at an appropriate distance does not, by itself, create reasonable suspicion to justify a vehicle stop.

Sen. Blackburn Just Laid It Out: Fraudsters Are Laughing All the Way to the Bank With Your Money

Sen. Marsha Blackburn said government fraud and improper payments are draining hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars annually, citing Government Accountability Office estimates that she said reveal a systemic failure across federal programs nationwide.

In remarks focused on federal spending oversight, Blackburn said the scope of fraud extends far beyond any single state and represents a nationwide problem affecting virtually every major entitlement program.

“We know that this issue goes far from Minnesota and into every corner of the country and the Government Accountability Office and this report, I think, is significant,” Blackburn said.

Blackburn cited a GAO report estimating massive annual losses tied to fraudulent activity within government programs.

“It estimates that each year, each and every year that our government is losing between 233,000,000,520 $1 billion to fraud, fraudulent programs, fraudulent claims,” she said.

“So, think about that.”

She described those losses as the result of deliberate misconduct by individuals and organizations seeking to exploit taxpayer-funded systems.

Man Charged Over Threats Ahead of Vance Disneyland Visit

A 22-year-old man from Anaheim, California, is facing federal charges after allegedly falsely claiming he placed pipe bombs inside Disneyland before Vice President JD Vance visited the park with his family last year.

Marco Antonio Aguayo is accused of posting messages on the Walt Disney Co.’s official Instagram page after learning that Vance was visiting the park on July 12, according to the criminal complaint. He was charged Wednesday with one count of making threats against the president and successors to the presidency, the Department of Justice said in a news release.

Aguayo is expected to make his initial appearance Tuesday at U.S. District Court in Santa Ana, California. If convicted, Aguayo faces a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison.

Aguayo “is now in the Unhappiest Place on Earth,” Bill Essayli, the U.S. attorney for the Central District of California, wrote Friday night on X. “Today, Aguayo was arrested and charged with threatening to kill @VP Vance with pipe bombs last summer when the Vice President and his family visited Disneyland.

“A threat to kill a public official is a federal crime. First Amendment rights do not extend to threats to kill or injure others, especially our nation’s elected officials. Such conduct will not be tolerated and will not go unpunished.”

Troops from Europe deploy to Greenland in rapid 2-day mission as Trump eyes US takeover

Troops from several European countries deployed to Greenland and are on the ground there Thursday for a quick two-day mission to bolster the territory’s defenses.

France, Germany, Sweden and Norway are participating in the exercise, Fox News has learned. Leaders say the mission is meant to demonstrate they can deploy military assets “quickly.”

The development comes as the Trump administration is pushing to acquire the Danish territory. Germany deployed a reconnaissance team of 13 personnel, France sent 15 mountain specialists and Sweden, Norway and Britain sent three, two and one officers, respectively, according to Reuters.

“The geopolitical tensions have spread to the Arctic. The Government of Greenland, and the Danish Ministry of Defense have therefore decided to continue the Danish Armed Forces’ increased exercise activity in Greenland, in close cooperation with NATO allies,” the Danish Ministry of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

“From today, there will be an expanded military presence in and around Greenland — in close cooperation with NATO allies. The purpose is to train the ability to operate under the unique Arctic conditions and to strengthen the alliance’s footprint in the Arctic, benefiting both European and transatlantic security,” it added.

Nigeria Massacre of Christians: Eyewitness Accounts as the Left Claims This Is Not Happening

In Vwang village in Vom District, Nigeria, the local Christian community is still reeling from a New Year’s Eve attack that left nine people dead when Fulani Islamist extremist gunmen opened fire on a Christian vigil. Pastor Gyang Ezekiel, the Alliance pastor and senior spiritual leader of the nearby Local Church Council of Danda, said the attack struck the very center of the community under his care.

Pastor Gyang said Danda has been a Christian community since its founding and was established explicitly on a Christian foundation. “This place has been a Christian-dominated area for some decades now,” he said. “This community was formed on a Christian platform, where Christianity has been and is still moving. There has never been any religion apart from Christianity here.”

He said the community’s faith remains firmly rooted in Jesus Christ and expressed confidence that their spiritual commitment has not been shaken despite the violence. Addressing the aftermath, Pastor Gyang said the suffering has been profound and that the church is struggling to respond to the scale of loss. While the church lacks the resources to replace what was destroyed, he said its focus remains on providing spiritual support to those affected.

The congregation has been praying together, comforting those who mourn, and urging members not to lose faith. Pastor Gyang said the church is focused on keeping Christ at the center of the community’s response to the violence. “We are trying to make sure that the people never lose hope in Christ,” he said, explaining that believers are being encouraged to deepen their faith rather than abandon it.

Minneapolis Police Chief Admits Unlawful Behavior as Mayor Frey Squirms Next to Him

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara provided details Wednesday evening about a shooting involving a federal agent in north Minneapolis, warning that unlawful activity by a gathered crowd was creating a dangerous and escalating situation.

In a public statement, O’Hara said Minneapolis police were first alerted to the incident shortly before 7 p.m.

“My name is Brian O’Hara. I am the Minneapolis Police Chief. At 6:51 p.m., Minneapolis Police received a 911 call reporting a shooting on the 600 block of two-four Avenue North,” O’Hara said.

According to O’Hara, preliminary information indicates the shooting occurred during a physical confrontation between a federal agent and an adult male outside a residence.

“Preliminary information indicates that there was a struggle with a federal agent in front of the resident,” O’Hara said.

“During the struggle, the federal agent discharged his weapon, striking one adult male.”

O’Hara said the individual who was shot retreated into the residence following the incident and initially refused to exit.

Joni Ernst, Mike Lee Sound Alarm on Alleged Fraud by Somali-Owned Rehab Center in Minneapolis

Sens. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Mike Lee (R-UT) are asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate alleged fraud by a Somali-owned rehab center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as alleged fraud schemes among Somali-owned nonprofits, daycare centers, and medical transportation companies have been referred to federal investigators.

In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Ernst and Lee accuse the Minneapolis-based rehabilitation center Generation Hope MN, a Somali-owned business, of accepting millions in federal dollars while having a “troubling pattern of red flags around its legitimacy, operational capacity, and financial stewardship.”

“… we are alarmed that this organization was ever positioned to receive over $1 million in congressionally directed Department of Justice (DOJ) funding despite multiple indicators that should have rendered it ineligible for any federal assistance or grants,” the senators wrote:

Generation Hope MN was established in 2019 and describes itself as a Somali-led organization focused on addiction recovery and substance use disorder services in Minneapolis’ East African community. [Emphasis added]

IRS documents, specifically IRS Form 1023-EZ, which is used to apply for recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, showed the three directors of Generation Hope MN listed the same address for a five-bedroom home in Minneapolis as their primary residence. [Emphasis added]

Generation Hope MN’s website lists two Minneapolis addresses, including a location on Cedar Avenue. This same address is publicly associated with Sagal Restaurant and Coffee, a Somali restaurant. While the Sagal restaurant’s owner claims Generation Hope MN occupies office space above the restaurant, this shared address with a commercial establishment, combined with the absence of dedicated program facilities or visible service infrastructure, raises substantial doubts about the organization’s independent operations and scale—particularly for an entity purporting to deliver intensive therapy and rehabilitation services. [Emphasis added]

Ernst and Lee are asking Bondi to investigate Generation Hope MN, comparing the business’s financial records as similar to those of Feeding Our Future, the nonprofit that was used as a massive fraud scheme to enrich those, mostly Somali immigrants, involved.

“These financial characteristics closely resemble tactics alleged in ongoing federal investigations into Minnesota nonprofit fraud, including the Feeding Our Future case, in which federal prosecutors allege kickbacks were routed through inflated ‘consulting’ or contractor fees to shell entities,” the senators wrote.

Trump Administration Says Banks Will Soon Begin Distributing ‘Trump Cards’

A “Trump card” with an interest rate of 10 percent could be coming to Americans through banks that want to join President Donald Trump in lowering credit card rates.

Kevin Hassett, the director of the National Economic Council, said the concept of a one-year cap of 10 percent could be implemented voluntarily without needing to go through Congress.

“Our expectation is that it won’t necessarily require legislation, because there will be really great new Trump cards presented for folks that are voluntarily provided by the banks,” Hassett said on Fox Business.

“We’ve been in conversations with the big banks, with CEOs of many of the big banks who think that the president is on to something, that he’s got a great idea,” he said.

Banks “could potentially voluntarily provide for people who are in that sort of sweet spot — not having financial leverage very much because they don’t have access to credit, but they have enough income and stability in their lives that they’re worthy of credit,” Hassett said.

Trump kicked off the idea in a social media post earlier this month.

“Please be informed that we will no longer let the American Public be ‘ripped off’ by Credit Card Companies that are charging Interest Rates of 20 to 30%, and even more, which festered unimpeded during the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration,” Trump posted on Truth Social, adding “AFFORDABILITY!”

“Effective January 20, 2026, I, as President of the United States, am calling for a one year cap on Credit Card Interest Rates of 10%,” Trump posted.

“Coincidentally, the January 20th date will coincide with the one year anniversary of the historic and very successful Trump Administration. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP,” he wrote.

Trump pushed the interest rate cap along with banning large institutional investors from buying single-family homes and a push to have Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac buy $200 billion in mortgage bonds to lower mortgage rates, according to The Hill.

Banks panned Trump’s concept.

Trump to cut federal payments to sanctuary cities starting Feb 1 over immigration policies

President Donald Trump said his administration will cease federal payments to sanctuary cities and states with sanctuary policies starting Feb. 1, while citing jurisdictions that protect criminals and fuel fraud and crime.

Speaking at the Detroit Economic Club, Trump said the move was aimed at cities and states that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement and in the administration’s bid to stamp out fraud.

“Starting Feb. 1, we’re not making any payments to sanctuary cities or states having sanctuary cities because they do everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American citizens,” Trump said.

“And it breeds fraud and crime and all the other problems that come. So we’re not making any payment to anybody that supports sanctuary,” he added.
