New York Hockey Fans Rally to Help NYPD Sergeant Who Received Outrageous Sentence from Far-Left Judge

During Tuesday night’s game between the New York Islanders and the Carolina Hurricanes on Long Island, hockey fans rallied to help jailed ex-NYPD Sgt. Erik Duran, during a fundraising push to help him in his fight to overturn the controversial sentence handed down by a far-left judge.

In August 2023, fleeing drug suspect Eric Duprey died after a Duran tossed a cooler he grabbed from a local family’s sidewalk table at him. Duprey, who was fleeing a Bronx buy-and-bust drug sting at the time, was knocked off his bike. Duprey died from injuries following the incident.

Duran was charged with second-degree manslaughter in January 2024.

Last week, The New York Post reported that radical Bronx Judge Guy Mitchell handed Duran a sentence of 3 to 9 years in prison despite pleas from the father of three to show mercy.

“Your honor, I am asking for a chance to be there with my kids. I am asking for a chance, just one,” Duran said.

During the Islanders game,  the NYPD’s Sergeants Benevolent Association shared a fundraiser for Duran on the Jumbotron to help him raise funds to overturn the harsh sentence.

The New York Post reports:

“This is all about Erik’s family,” said union head Vincent Vallelong, who was joined at the game by Post executive Patrick Judge, Islanders co-owner Jon Ledecky and other SBA members.

“Whatever it takes to get him out, is exactly what it is everyone on this board believes and everybody in law enforcement is going to do at this point. The message is that basically, this is going to affect law enforcement across the nation. They all feel that this can happen in their cities.”

Islanders fans were given the option to donate directly to the fund, which had already raised $40,000 as of Tuesday morning, via a QR code displayed on the jumbotron.

A portion of Tuesday night’s 50/50 raffle that took in nearly $45,000 will also go toward the legal fund launched Monday by the SBA to help Duran appeal his conviction.

The fundraiser, spearheaded by The National Police Defense Foundation (NPDF) notes, “In August 2023, Sgt. Erik Duran, a highly decorated member of the NYPD, was supervising a “buy and bust” operation in the Bronx. One of the suspects attempted to evade capture by mounting a nearby motorcycle and driving it on the sidewalk, directly at responding officers. Fearing that his officers would be seriously injured or killed by fleeing felon Eric Duprey, Sgt. Duran grabbed an Igloo cooler and hurled it at Duprey to divert him from crashing into his officers, their prisoner, or bystanders.”

Harmeet Dhillon Drops the Hammer on Minnesota’s Racist Affirmative Action Scam

Civil rights attorney Harmeet Dhillon detailed a legal challenge targeting Minnesota’s longstanding affirmative action policies, arguing that the state’s framework violates federal law by discriminating against majority groups in employment.

Dhillon said similar policies have appeared in multiple cities across the country, pointing to recent examples where public backlash led to reversals.

“Well, look, Chicago has this many big cities have it,” Dhillon said. “When I tweeted about Asheville trying to do this, they withdrew their policy.”

She described the issue as widespread and ongoing.

“Asheville, North Carolina, it’s like Whack a Mole out there,” Dhillon said.

According to Dhillon, Minnesota’s policies date back decades and are rooted in earlier legal interpretations that she said have since been challenged by more recent court rulings.

“But the state of Minnesota has long had this affirmative action regime dating back to the 1960s and 1970s a couple of bad Supreme Court precedents that wrongly interpreted Title Seven,” she said.

Dhillon pointed to recent Supreme Court decisions that she said clarify the legal standard regarding discrimination.

Comical AI: Israel suggests Iranian military spokesman who mocks Trump is actually a computer-generated FAKE

Israel has suggested that the Iranian military spokesperson known for mocking Donald Trump may be artificial intelligence. 

In a post on the IDF’s Farsi-language account, Israeli officials said that Ebrahim Zolfaghari seems more like an AI-generated product than a real human. 

‘If you have seen him in an interview or in the field, tell us. If not, help us prove that he is an artificial intelligence product,’ the post reads.

‘Are [they] forced to create fictional characters to talk to people? And what does this say about the credibility of their messages?’

Having gained global attention for mocking Trump, Zolfaghari has been likened to ‘Comical Ali’ – the infamously inaccurate Iraqi Minister of Information, Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf. 

Zolfaghari gained notoriety for his attempts to conduct psychological warfare against Israel and the US, famously warning that US troops would become ‘food for the sharks of the Persian Gulf’ and threatened to return Israel to the ‘Stone Age. 

In one video almost three weeks into the war, Zolfaghari mocked Donald Trump for his use of social media, telling the president: ‘The outcome of war cannot be determined by tweets, the result of war is determined on the field.’

He continued: ‘The very place where you and your forces do not dare approach and you can only talk about it in your tweets.’

Wearing military clothing, Zolfaghari ended his message with a mocking smile, telling Trump: ‘It is better to name this war as Epic Fear, instead of Epic Fury.’

In another video after Trump floated joint control of the Strait of Hormuz and suggested he didn’t know who was currently leading Iran, Zolfaghari ridiculed the US President saying: 

‘Hey, Trump, you are fired… You are familiar with this sentence. Thank you for your attention to this matter.’

In a separate video, Zolfaghari intensified his criticism and questioned Washington’s claims of diplomacy.

‘Have your internal conflicts reached the point where you are negotiating with yourselves?’ he added.

Similar to the current Iranian spokesperson, Iraq’s 2003 Information Minister, Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf known as ‘Comical Ali’, became infamous for his delusional daily briefings during the US invasion. 

At the war’s start, Al-Sahhaf boasted that American troops would ‘all die.’ 

He once claimed previous foreign invaders had always met a disastrous end, citing a obscure history book for journalists to read at his home. 

And he frequently mocked Western leaders as ‘blood-sucking bastards,’ losers, and fools.

In one particularly outrageous moment, Comical Ali declared to western journalists that the ‘infidels’ were facing ‘slaughter’ even as US tanks rolled into Baghdad.

From his vantage point on the roof of Baghdad’s Palestine Hotel, and ignoring the sight of Iraqi troops retreating across the Tigris, Al-Sahhaf proclaimed that the city was ‘safe.’

‘Baghdad is safe. The battle is still going on. Their infidels are committing suicide by the hundreds on the gates of Baghdad. Don’t believe those liars,’ he declared.

NYC Mayor Mamdani’s City-Run Grocery Plan Is Revealed, and the Receipts Already Make No Sense

The old maxim when pointing out failed Marxism attempts is the wan excuse that “True Socialism has not been tried yet!” Somehow, over the generations, every attempt at implementing Socialist/Marxist/Communist policy managed to get it wrong. And this brings us to The Stale Apple, as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced his plan to fulfill his campaign promise to open a collection of city-run grocery stores. This alone is a surprise, after he tossed aside his other pledged Utopian solutions, like the mobile homeless shelters – wait, sorry: “Free public transportation”. 

This pie-in-the-sky (but not on the shelves) idea is meant to supply city denizens with affordable and plentiful grocery items, all under the benevolent supply of the city government. Already you see the issue when applying the professionalism and efficiency of the DMV offices to the food supply, but Mamdani came out Sunday to boast about his achievements after 100 days in office, and he announced his plan for the NYC grocery project.

Trump 2020 Election Lawyer John Eastman Disbarred in California For Challenging Democrat Fraud

President Trump’s 2020 election lawyer John Eastman was officially disbarred in Californian on Wednesday.

The California Supreme Court affirmed that Eastman was disbarred after a two-year battle with the state bar.

CBS News reported:

John Eastman, Chapman Law School’s former dean, lost his law license after he allegedly helped President Trump try to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.

“After extensive proceedings before the State Bar Court’s Hearing and Review Departments, both of which found Mr. Eastman culpable of serious ethical violations, the Court has imposed the discipline warranted by the clear and convincing evidence that he advanced false claims about the 2020 presidential election to mislead courts, public officials, and the American public,” said State Bar Chief Trial Counsel George Cardona.

The California Supreme Court affirmed Eastman’s disbarment two years after the State Bar found him culpable of 10 disciplinary charges, claiming he engaged in misconduct by allegedly helping Trump try to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.

Eastman was disbarred in April 2024 after a judge ruled he should have his law license stripped for challenging the 2020 election.

John Eastman previously asked a California judge to pause the disbarment ruling, citing massive legal fees.

Eastman faced disbarment in California for ‘undermining democracy’ by trying to ‘overturn the presidential election.’

Leftists Mobs Violently Attacked a TPUSA Journalist. Will They Face Justice?

Savannah Hernandez, a TPUSA contributor and independent journalist, was covering a Left-wing protest in Minneapolis when she was assaulted by a mob that identified as Antifa.

One of the men who attacked Hernandez was identified by Alpha News and Crime Watch Minneapolis as Chris Ostroushko. He was seen on video shoving Hernandez to the ground.

“Apparently Chris Ostroushko is also a Minneapolis FRAUDSTER and was convicted of defrauding the state unemployment program back in the early 2000s,” Hernandez wrote in an X post reacting to CrimeWatchMpls’ post of a screenshot of the complaint.

Hernandez posted a video of the incident to X on Sunday, which has received nearly 4 million views and 114,000 likes as of Monday afternoon. The clip shows the journalist, holding a camera and arguing with the demonstrators, before Ostroushko can be seen shoving her and shouting an expletive.

A man then shouts at Ostroushko and the crowd of protesters he is with to “back the f*** up,” adding, “it’s over.” However, Ostroushko continues to walk forward, shouting and pointing, prompting multiple people to restrain him.

“I’m waking up with a headache and stiff neck this morning due to how violently anti-ICE activist, Chris Ostroushko, shoved me down yesterday,” Hernandez wrote in the viral post. “A second angle shows that he had to be held back by 5 men as he continued to charge at me.”

Federal Reserve Stonewalls DOJ Prosecutors Investigating Headquarters Construction: Report

Federal prosecutors made a surprise visit Tuesday to the construction site of the Federal Reserve’s headquarters renovation project.

Workers at the site refused to admit them, saying they did not have clearance in advance of the visit, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The $2.5 billion project has been under review by the administration, and the prosecutors came from the office of U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.

“Any construction project that has cost overruns of almost 80 percent over the original construction budget deserves some serious review,” Pirro said in a statement.

“And these people are in charge of monetary policy in the United States?” she asked.

Robert Hur, an attorney representing the Fed, said prosecutors Carlton Davis and Steven Vandervelden appeared “without prior notice” and sought a tour to check the work’s progress.

President Donald Trump has praised Pirro “for having the courage” to investigate the Fed.

Law firms are helping migrants remain in the United Kingdom by having them pretend to be gay so they can get asylum status.

A BBC News investigation uncovered the scheme, revealing how migrants are claiming to be homosexual so they can convince the authorities that they will be persecuted if they are sent back to their home countries.

In the first part of a major undercover investigation, we reveal how migrants whose visas are due to run out are being given fake cover stories and instructed in how to obtain fabricated evidence, including supporting letters, photographs and medical reports.

They then apply for asylum claiming to be gay and in fear for their lives if they return to Pakistan or Bangladesh.

In response to our findings, the Home Office said: “Anyone found trying to exploit the system will face the full force of the law, including removal from the UK.”

The UK’s asylum process offers protection to people who can’t return to their home countries because they would be in danger, for example in countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh where gay sex is illegal.

But the BBC News investigation reveals the process is being systematically exploited by legal advisers extracting fees from migrants who want to stay in the country.

These are often people whose student, work or tourist visas have expired, rather than those who have just arrived in the country on small boats or through other illegal routes.

This group now makes up 35% of all asylum claims, which topped 100,000 in 2025.

The Mystery Sweeping D.C.: Who Executed the Political Hitjob That Destroyed Eric Swalwell?

The same eagle-eyed journalists who were gobsmacked — gobsmacked, I say! — to discover that Joe Biden’s brain was AWOL are now feigning disbelief over the Eric Swalwell sexual assault allegations. Who knew this young, promising, handsome politician, who was elected to Congress in his early 30s and was poised to become California’s next governor, had such a dark side?

Well, apparently everyone:

If true, it sets a peculiar timeline: Swalwell joined Congress in 2013. For over a dozen years, he was a powerful member of the political elite. A popular presence on cable TV shows, Swalwell always made time for the mainstream media. (Even after eating bean burritos. Yes, that actually happened.) 

Normally, politicians who play ball with the media get better coverage than those who don’t. It’s one of the unspoken agreements between press and politicians: You scratch our back and we’ll scratch yours.

Most of the time, it’s a win-win arrangement: Each side gets something they want.

Swalwell’s lust for power wasn’t a secret. We’re talking about a guy who ran for president when he was just 38, so everyone knew he was using his congressional seat as a launching pad for something bigger.

Of course he ran for governor of California! Duh! It was there for the taking!

And truth be told, he was doing pretty well. According to most polls, he was one of the leading Democratic gubernatorial candidates. Most insiders assumed the Dems would eventually consolidate around a candidate to prevent the GOP from claiming the top two spots in the “jungle primary,” and Swalwell was zooming along in pole position.

Had the scandal not broken, he’d probably be California’s next governor.

Then, seemingly overnight, a series of shocking — and horrifying — sexual assault allegations were reported in the press, one right after the other. Rep. Swalwell, who had long claimed to champion the plight of abused women, was unmasked as an (alleged) serial rapist and sexual predator.
