$190,000 payout for Antifa-supporting teacher to resign has critics fuming over union clout

Reports that a California school teacher who was aligned with Antifa was paid $190,000 to resign this year are sparking outrage, leading critics to say it reveals the strength of California’s teacher unions on public education in the state.

Information obtained by the Sacramento Bee revealed that former Inderkum High School teacher Gabriel Gipe was paid $190,000 to resign from his post. According to the Bee, the payout was taxed, and the final check totaled $100,000.

Gipe, an AP Government teacher, was secretly recorded saying he had 180 days to turn his students into “revolutionaries,” as revealed in a Project Veritas video released in September 2021. The conservative organization’s video release sparked intense backlash, and the district announced that it planned to fire Gipe within a few days of the video’s release and started compiling a dossier outlining evidence against him, according to multiple news reports at that time.

The school’s investigation revealed that Gipe rejected the regular AP Government curriculum and “instead led freewheeling lectures about communism,” the Bee reported.

School district Superintendent Chris Evans told the Bee that the decision to pay Gipe came down to “basic math.”

“California is not an easy place to fire a teacher,” Evans told the Bee. “I think everyone knows that.”

Leaked chats: Biden administration reportedly pushed for Alex Berenson to be banned from Twitter

Newly released internal messages between Twitter staff show them discussing an April 2021 meeting with the White House where the Biden administration reportedly pushed for journalist and author Alex Berenson to be booted from the platform before Twitter banned him.

Berenson was banned from Twitter for violating its “COVID-19 misinformation” rules four months later in August 2021. Berenson responded by suing Twitter in December 2021, with the lawsuit accusing the tech giant of acting “on behalf of the federal government in censoring and barring him from access to its platform.” Berenson’s account was subsequently reinstated in July 2022 after both parties settled the censorship lawsuit.

These internal messages were published by Berenson and show April 22, 2021 discussions between Twitter employees on the business messaging app Slack. Berenson said he obtained the messages as part of his lawsuit against Twitter.

In one of the Slack messages, a Twitter employee says their meeting with the “WH [White House]” was “pretty good” but “they had one really tough question about why Alex Berenson hasn’t been kicked off from the platform.”

Man Killed in Standoff After Trying to Break Into Ohio FBI Building Was on Radar of Federal Authorities for Months Because He *Might Have* Attended a Trump Rally

As previously reported by TGP’s Cassandra Fairbanks, Ohio State Highway Patrol exchanged gunfire with an armed man attempting to break into the FBI building in Cincinnati on Thursday morning.

The man, now identified as Navy veteran Ricky Schiffer, 42, was allegedly carrying an AR-15 and shooting into the building with a nail gun.

“At approximately 9:15 EST, the FBI Cincinnati Field Office had an armed subject attempt to breach the Visitor Screening Facility (VSF),” FBI Cincinnati said in a statement. “Upon the activation of an alarm and a response by armed FBI special agents, the subject fled northbound onto Interstate 71.”

At about 12:30 p.m. local time, the agency said Schiffer was “contained” but not in custody, according to a report from NBC News.

Schiffer took off on I-71 towards Columbus and the pursuit eventually ended near W. State Route 73, according to a report from Fox 8.

The standoff ended in a cornfield.

Ricky Schiffer was killed in the standoff.

On Friday it was reported that Schiffer was on the radar of federal authorities for months because he may had been at the US Capitol on January 6.

Establishment smear merchants The Daily Beast, Rolling Stone and their perceptible intelligence ties

On Oct. 14, 2016, The Daily Beast published a surprisingly candid retrospective on the CIA’s historic recruitment of media assets.

“Other journalists were threatened and blackmailed into cooperating with Mockingbird,” the article noted, “and many were given falsified or fabricated information about their actions in order to engender their support for the CIA’s mission. The program has never been officially discontinued.”

At the time, the editor-in-chief and managing director of The Daily Beast was John Phillips Avlon. Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown had launched the popular online news site in 2008. By the time she exited five years later, a soured merger with Newsweek had left The Daily Beast whimpering rather than roaring. Avlon’s arrival changed all that.

Avlon has all the credentials of the CIA’s iconic gentleman spy, including an old moneyed family with military pedigrees, a Yale education, and a missionary globalist zeal toward foreign policy and international affairs.

John Avlon, Sr. was chairman of a New York real estate company and a trustee of the George S. Patton Museum Foundation. Born in 1973, young John attended Milton Academy prep school in Massachusetts before earning his B.A. from Yale and an MBA from Columbia.

Curiously, both Avlon’s Wikipedia page and that of his best friend, the aristocratic spook Matthew Pottinger, note that the two are childhood best friends and Milton schoolmates, as if this lifelong partnership is an essential fact in evaluating both men’s lives.

Writing for the New York Sun in 2005, Avlon describes Pottinger — one of America’s top spies — as “like a brother to me.” Pottinger made his bones as a journalist — and, probably, as an espionage operative and propagandist — while working as a lead reporter for Reuters and the Wall Street Journal in China before serving as a U.S. Marines intelligence officer in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In 2010, Pottinger co-authored an intelligence analysis with Michael Flynn — “Fixing Intel: a Blueprint for Making Intelligence Relevant in Afghanistan” — published through the Center for a New American Security, a front group for Pentagon and intelligence agencies and military contractors that critics have branded “the military-industrial think tank complex.”

Rising through the ranks, Pottinger by 2017 became a member of the National Security Council under Donald Trump. Flynn, by then Trump’s National Security Advisor, appointed Pottinger as NSC’s Asia director.

Advocating a tough stance on China, Pottinger became Deputy National Security Advisor under globalist John Bolton on Sept. 20, 2019 — eight days after, according to current National Security Agency estimates, the Wuhan virus began circulating in China.

Pottinger’s wife, Dr. Yen Pottinger, is a virologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and was one of the first public advocates for social distancing.

After Trump left office, Pottinger joined yet another intelligence agency-linked think tank, the Hoover Institute, as a Distinguished Fellow. Coincidentally, Avlon is married to Margaret Hoover, who sits on the board of overseers of the Hoover Institute at Stanford. Margaret Hoover boasts a litany of foreign policy and intelligence agency credentials, including as former adviser to the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Avlon began his own rise to prominence with hawkish foreign policy, security state sympathies, and some obscure counterterrorism credentials of mysterious pedigree. His claims as a security and intelligence expert won him a job as speechwriter for New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Former CIA Director Appears To Suggest Trump Be Executed Over Nuclear Documents

A former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director and an MSNBC contributor appeared to suggest late Thursday that former President Donald Trump be executed over nuclear documents.

MSNBC contributor Michael Beschloss tweeted a photograph of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, two Americans who were convicted of conspiring to hand over U.S. atomic secrets to the Soviet Union and were executed in 1953, according to History. The tweet read, “Rosenbergs were convicted for giving U.S. nuclear secrets to Moscow, and were executed in June 1953.”

“Sounds about right,” former CIA director and four-star Air Force General Michael Hayden responded in a quote tweet.

The post followed reports that Trump held onto nuclear documents in his private residence, Mar-a-Lago. The Washington Post reporter Shane Harris first broke the story about the alleged nuclear documents taken to Mar-a-Lago from the White House when Trump left office. The report lacked specific details on these nuclear documents other than reporting that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) sought them in the Monday raid on the former president’s home. Harris did not delve into any details regarding the alleged nuclear document in an interview with CNN Friday.

The Night of the Murdered Poets: Remembering One of Stalin’s Forgotten Killing Sprees

Power kills. Absolute power kills too many to count. Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin spoke with personal authority on the subject when he famously said, “A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic.”

To write about any one or more massacres for which Stalin was responsible, one must first answer the question, “Which ones?” There are many. The slaughter of the kulaks during his collectivization campaigns of the 1930s. The Ukrainian Holodomor of 1932-33. The Great Purge of 1937. The killing of 22,000 Polish military officers and prisoners of war in the Katyn Forest in 1940. The mass deportations of various nationalities, accompanied by countless deaths, that he orchestrated throughout his 30 years in power. On and on. “Uncle Joe,” as Franklin Roosevelt called him, ranks as one of the top five mass murderers of the millennium.

One of Uncle Joe’s almost forgotten killing sprees took place on August 12, 1952 and is known in the history books as the Night of the Murdered Poets. On its 70th anniversary, let us remember both the victims and the larger lesson, namely, that concentrated and unrestrained power is ghastly, criminal business.

Here’s the story…

Body Found In Brooklyn Surrounded By Biohazard Canisters, ‘Weapons Of Mass Destruction Diagrams’

A decomposing body was found in a Brooklyn apartment surrounded by biohazard canisters and diagrams for creating weapons of mass destruction.

The man, identified only as a 75-year-old restaurant worker known as “Chef John,” was apparently dead for at least a week before he was found, the New York Post reported. His body was found during a welfare check this week.

FBI agents and members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force entered the apartment on Thursday, collecting bags of hazardous material from inside the apartment. A biohazard test of the air inside the apartment came back negative, but the lethal toxin ricin was found in the apartment, police sources told the Post.

Police are still investigating suspicious materials found in the home, including the canisters with biohazard labels and what the Post described as “weapons of mass destruction diagrams.”

Several people who knew John told the Post that he openly discussed using poison to keep intruders away, and regularly claimed the CIA was out to get him.

Stop the Squeal: Infamous Jan. 6 Defendant Brandon Straka Reportedly Ratted on Others and Avoided Jail

Brandon Straka, a self-described former liberal who founded the #WalkAway campaign, provided federal agents with information about fellow rioters and secured a lesser sentence after the Capitol attack, per a report.

His online campaign launched ahead of the 2018 midterms, and asked former Democrats to share stories about why they left the party.

Straka enjoyed widespread popularity among conservatives online until the weeks after Jan. 6, when he was arrested by federal agents. He was sentenced to three years probation earlier this year after he pleaded guilty to a single count of disorderly conduct.

WUSA in Washington, D.C., citing court documents, reported Straka gave the FBI the names of at least 12 people following the Stop the Steal rally that devolved into a riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

It’s Over: CDC Says People Exposed To COVID No Longer Need To Quarantine

If you managed to maintain your integrity through this awful period of time, congratulations! You are one of the rock stars of this story. You are a solid individual who has courage and stood firm and tall when it mattered most.

As for the people who didn’t, some can be forgiven. But many cannot.

Those who could have and “should” have known better? The doctors who failed to utilize known and proven early treatments to save lives?  The public health authorities that locked people down and forced masks onto children’s faces without a shred of supporting science to back those decisions?  Medical hospital administrators who took the monetary bait and forced patients onto toxic and deadly regimens of Remdesivir and ventilators (again, without any supporting evidence!). The NIH treatment panel that still – to this day – does not recommend vitamin D, or any of the other actual safe and effective early treatments?

Sorry, not sorry, those people need to suffer real and lasting public consequences. Some doctors should lose their licenses. Some bureaucrats need to lose their jobs while others need to go to trial.

I feel most acutely for those who got caught up and suffered terribly as a result. I feel truly awful for all the people prevented from being at a loved one’s passing, or who ,as a condition of continued employment, were coerced into getting Covid jabs they neither wanted nor needed.

There are far too many tragic cases out there. Far too many young lives were lost and continue to be lost. I am angry that it happened and at the petty, ignorant bureaucrats who forced it to happen. “Sudden Adult Death Syndrome” is a thing now, and the attempts to normalize it by the press have left me thinking that those companies and journalists who engaged in this ought to be barred for life from ever being in the business again.

Amazon’s Ring Camera Penetrates 18% Of Homes To Create Massive Surveillance Network

If you walk through your local neighborhood—providing you live in a reasonably large town or city—you’ll be caught on camera. Government CCTV cameras may record your stroll, but it is increasingly likely that you’ll also be captured by one of your neighbors’ security cameras or doorbells. It’s even more likely that the camera will be made by Ring, the doorbell and security camera firm owned by Amazon.

Since Amazon splashed out more than a billion dollars for the company in 2018, Ring’s security products have exploded in popularity. Ring has simultaneously drawn controversy for making deals (and sharing data) with thousands of police departments, helping expand and normalize suburban surveillance, and falling to a string of hacks. While the cameras can provide homeowners with reassurance that their property is secure, critics say the systems also run the risk of reinforcing racism and racial profiling and eroding people’s privacy.

Videos shared from security cameras and internet-connected doorbells have also become common on platforms like Facebook and TikTok, raking in millions of views. “Ring impacts everybody’s privacy,” says Matthew Guariglia, a policy analyst at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. “Most immediately, it impacts the people who walk down the streets every day, where the cameras are pointing out.”

While Ring is far from the only maker of smart doorbells and cameras—Google’s Nest line is another popular option—its connections to law enforcement have drawn the most criticism, as when it recently handed over data without warrants. So, what exactly does Ring collect and know about you?
