“Belmont Bombshells” – The University’s Vast Extent Of Subversive Actions

Last week, The Tennessee Conservative reported on the breaking story of a Belmont University official caught on camera admitting to harboring illegal alien students and deliberately pushing DEI policies through crafty rebranding.

Now, while calling for a federal investigation into the school, Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles has released reports showing Belmont’s deception is deeper rooted than initially suspected.

In the undercover footage, Belmont’s Assistant Director of “Student Success and Flourishing” Jozef Lukey revealed the school knows they have “undocumented students” on campus and deliberately hides their information to better operate “in the shadows”.

Lukey also admits that the absorption of the school’s DEI department into their Hope, Unity, and Belonging (HUB) Office in 2022 was simply a way to continue DEI practices without being “under the microscope.”

Congressman Andy Ogles was one of the first Tennessee officials to jump into action, announcing he had sent a letter to Education Secretary Linda McMahon demanding an investigation and a revocation of all federal funds if necessary.

But the Congressman hasn’t stopped there, releasing several “Belmont Bombshells” containing leaked emails and documents showing how “aggressively Belmont University’s administration is pushing DEI indoctrination behind the scenes”.

“Belmont Bombshell” #1 features an email from April asking university faculty to vote for a nominee to serve on the “Faculty Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Committee” for the next college academic year which will start in the fall of this year.

“Belmont claims to be a Christian university. DEI is a radically un-Christian, anti-truth ideology. This has no place in Tennessee. Stay tuned,” Ogles said.

“Belmont Bombshell #2” shows an official curriculum proposal form requiring faculty to write a “Diversity Impact Statement” to justify how any course proposals or revisions will, “include perspectives from diverse and/or historically underrepresented populations.” This means that any new or revised classes must be tailored to include DEI ideology or risk being rejected by the Belmont Provost.

While the form was dated for use in 2023, Ogles wrote that, “Belmont is allegedly still forcing professors to comply with this form,” and it is unlikely the school has greatly altered the document as more is revealed about the school’s determination to continue pressing DEI initiatives.

New York Has Awarded $600 Million To Sanctuary Groups Resisting Trump

New York’s city and state governments have given more than $600 million of taxpayer money to legal and immigrant-advocacy groups fighting President Trump’s immigration agenda.

One group, the Bronx Defenders, has received more than $500 million in city contracts since fiscal year 2018 to provide legal services to migrants.

Other groups, such as Make the Road NY, have received tens of millions of dollars in contracts as well.

Make the Road organized a rally at the state capitol last month in support of a sanctuary bill. Protesters chanted, “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here.”

The New York Immigration Coalition received $46 million in taxpayer money.

“New York City should not be in the business of carrying out Donald Trump’s mass disappearance agenda, which is in fact illegal under our local laws,” Tweeted Murad Awadeh, executive director of the NYICC.

These groups have been pushing a statewide sanctuary bill called the New York for All Act that would prevent state and local law enforcement from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. This would include providing ICE with information, as well as turning over or deporting illegal immigrants.

Another bill in the works, the Dignity not Detention Act, would ban local jails from renting space to ICE for detention of migrants.

Neither bill has yet passed the state Senate.

Law Breakers: University of Oklahoma Boasts ‘Safe Place’ for Illegal Aliens

Despite tremendous efforts by the Trump administration, according to Campus Reform, “the University of Oklahoma (OU) continues to provide services for illegal alien students through its admissions and financial aid processes.”

On its website, Oklahoma’s “undocumented admissions is described as a “safe space” for illegals.

It also states on its website that “In the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, we do our best to find and provide the resources to better serve undocumented and DACA students as they are students who work hard to pursue their education and deserve access to higher education and become members of the OU family,” the website reads. “This is a safe place.”

Although this non-law-abiding university admits illegal aliens are not eligible for federally funded financial help, there is a loophole that they use.

According to Oklahoma House Bill 1804, students who attended high school in Oklahoma for at least two years with a parent or guardian may still qualify for in-state tuition through an Affidavit of Intent.

The Oklahoma University website also states that illegal aliens are eligible to apply for state and university scholarships.

This all comes at a time when our federal government is cracking down on illegal alien public assistance.

American Father Who Fled to Russia is Tricked and Sent to Fight on Frontlines Against Ukraine

The family of a Texas man who moved to Russia to escape liberal indoctrination says he has been “fed to the wolves” after being sent to the frontlines in Ukraine.

Derek Huffman, 46, relocated to Moscow in search of “traditional values” and joined the Russian military to gain citizenship, having been assured he would not be placed in a combat role.

The Huffmans settled in a village outside Moscow founded by American blogger Tim Kirby, which markets itself to Western families looking to reject “liberal gender norms” and avoid liberal indoctrination of American society.

Although Huffman was initially promised work as a war correspondent or vehicle mechanic, he has instead received rushed combat training and is now being deployed to the frontlines of the war with Ukraine.

“He feels like he is being thrown to the wolves right now, and he is kind of having to lean on faith,” his wife DeAnna said.

“Derek was told he would not be training for two weeks and going straight to the front lines.”

“But it seems as though he is getting one more week of training, closer to the front lines, and then they are going to put him on the front lines.”

Joe Biden’s Missing Migrant Children Scandal Gets Even Worse, Hotline Info Revealed

A hearing held this week by the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed that a hotline operated by the Biden-Harris administration to report concerns about unaccompanied migrant children failed to respond to 65,000 calls between August 2023 and January 2025.

The hearing focused on the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the current immigration system and their interaction with federal agencies.

Lawmakers examined how the Biden-Harris administration has managed the care and oversight of unaccompanied migrant minors.

One of the primary witnesses was Ali Hopper, the founder and president of GUARD Against Trafficking.

Hopper testified that criminal networks have exploited weaknesses within the immigration system, including both federal agencies and NGOs involved in the placement and monitoring of migrant children.

“These agencies have been hijacked by criminal networks,” Hopper told the committee.

She also described widespread mismanagement and lack of accountability across the system.

Questions Surround $100 Million in ‘Fire Aid’ for Los Angeles

Questions are being raised about how the roughly $100 million raised by “Fire Aid” concerts in the aftermath of the Los Angeles fires earlier this year is being spent — with some claiming victims are receiving nothing.

The star-studded bill for the benefit concert, held on two separate stages, raised a massive sum. But many residents of the Pacific Palisades and Malibu (Palisades Fire), and of Altadena and Pasadena (Eaton Fire), say they have not benefited.

There have been two significant local investigations by local news outlets, each of which came to different — though not necessarily contradictory — conclusions about Fire Aid’s money.

The first, by ABC affiliate KABC-7, concluded that the money was being well-spent — on organizations:

Roughly 120 organizations split $50 million when the first round of FireAid funds was released in February. 7 On Your Side tried reaching out to every single one of them, and heard back from more than 50 to find out how the money is being used.

…

The Pasadena Humane Society used $250,000 from FireAid to treat and house pets burned and left homeless by the flames.

Heal the Bay received $100,000 and used it to test for contaminants along our coast.

However, Circling the News, as highlighted by local Fox affiliate KTTV,  found that few victims had benefited.

Stanford professor keeps fighting to defend rigor in math curricula

A Stanford University professor is being recognized for his work advocating for rigorous math standards in high school curricula in California and other states.

“The format of education has adapted to new technologies throughout history, but understanding of ideas is not devalued in that process,“ Professor Brian Conrad told The College Fix in a recent interview.

Stanford’s director of undergraduate studies in math, Conrad rose to national attention a few years ago when the California State Board of Education proposed revisions to the California Mathematics Framework for high schoolers. The changes included, among other things, that Algebra II courses be delayed to college in favor of data science courses.

Conrad (pictured) made a series of public comments arguing that omitting higher-level algebra and the critical thinking skills it cultivates would leave students “substantially unprepared” for STEM and other quantitative college degrees.

As a result, the state changed the most problematic parts of the new curriculum, he said.

Area 51 staff ‘killed by invisible enemy’ while working on top-secret projects

A group of US Air Force veterans has gone public with their story about how an ‘invisible enemy’ at the top-secret base Area 51 left them with cancer.

The former security guards at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), a classified site that houses Area 51, have claimed that the US government betrayed them and essentially handed them a death sentence without their knowledge.

Their claims stemmed from the revelation that NTTR was built in the 1970s on an area of land that was found to be contaminated with radiation from years of nuclear testing in the area.

However, that 1975 report from the US Energy Research and Development Administration also said it would ‘be against the national interest’ to stop the military’s secret projects at the site.

David Crete, a former Air Force Sergeant who worked at NTTR from 1983 through 1987, said that over 490 of his fellow workers have died of severe illnesses since being stationed at the secret facility.

Making matters worse, the US Department of Veterans Affairs has refused to cover their medical care because none of the surviving veterans can prove they were exposed to radiation near Area 51.

That’s because their work was so top secret, all records of their activities have been marked as ‘data masked.’

‘I have brain atrophy. The left side of my brain is shrinking and dying. That’s not too bad. I’m one of the healthy ones,’ Crete told the House Veterans Affairs Committee in April while lobbying for legislation to support the Area 51 veterans.

Biden Justice Department Sought ‘Federal Hook’ To Go After Parents As ‘Domestic Terrorists’: Documents

The Department of Justice under former President Joe Biden actively sought a “federal hook” to justify sending federal law enforcement after parents it labeled “domestic terrorists” because they were concerned about their children’s education.

Documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL) show that prior to the infamous Oct. 4, 2021, “domestic terrorist” memo from former Attorney General Merrick Garland, staff were looking for any possible way to go after parents concerned with coronavirus mandates, critical race theory, and “transgender” policies.

“We’re aware; the challenge here is finding a federal hook. But WH has been in touch about whether we can assist in some form or fashion,” Kevin Chambers, then an associate deputy attorney general, wrote in an Oct. 1 email, trying to manufacture a way to respond to a teed-up letter sent by the National School Boards Association (NSBA).

Career staff at the time were even concerned, saying there was no authority or legal basis for going after parents speaking out at school board meetings, particularly since they were protected by the First Amendment.

AFL said the new tranche of documents allows the organization to “complete the timeline” of how the NSBA and Biden DOJ and White House were colluding in order to go after parents. The legal group’s president, Gene Hamilton, said the emails show a “conspiracy that was ultimately aimed at depriving parents of two fundamental rights — the right to speak, and the right to direct the upbringing of their children.”

“They did so with political intentions, most immediately by attempting to influence the Virginia gubernatorial election, and to more broadly chill dissent across the United States,” he added.

The day after Chambers’ “federal hook” email, Oct. 2, Sparkle Sooknanan — who was then in the associate attorney general’s office and was later appointed by Biden as a judge on the federal district court for the District of Columbia — asked at 8:17 a.m. if anyone in the Civil Rights Division could assist in a response to the NSBA letter.

The Biden administration had already collaborated with the NSBA to produce the NSBA anti-parent letter, but Oct. 2 was a Saturday, and the timing implies that these Biden officials were looking to send their thugs after parents as soon as humanly possible.

Russian Drones Overwhelm Ukrainian Defenses

Russian drone attacks appear to be overwhelming Ukraine’s besieged air defenses with their highest hit rates since the war began, it was reported Monday.

Moscow’s military has used “swarm” tactics, with drones striking targets at three times the typical rate in recent months, Financial Times reported, citing official data.

Roughly 15% of Iranian-designed drones, manufactured in Russia, penetrated defenses on average between April and June. That was up from only 5% during the previous three months.

The war began in February 2022 when, in an unprovoked attack, Russia invaded Ukraine.

The increased effectiveness of the slow-moving Shaheds — drones that Russians have renamed Gerans — is due to modifications that have allowed them to fly faster and beyond the range of Ukrainian truck-mounted machine guns, Financial Times reported.

“The problem is not [that] the Ukraine air defense is getting worse. Instead, what we see is that new swarming tactics and drones are now flying in higher altitude, [which] makes them more effective,” according to Yasir Atalan, of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

“The increase in sheer size in launches saturates the defense systems which increases the hit rate.”

The Ukrainian air force has used electronic warfare to jam the drones’ GPS guidance systems, and anti-aircraft guns including the advanced German Oerlikon Skynex, an advanced air defense cannon.
