Mexico Mandates Biometric Digital ID by 2026

Mexico has formally mandated the use of a new biometric-based digital ID system, making compulsory a previously voluntary identification mechanism known as the Unique Population Registry Code, or CURP.

Under the new law, CURP IDs will now incorporate detailed personal biometric records, including fingerprints, iris scans, and photographs embedded within a QR code.

The government plans a phased rollout, expecting full nationwide adoption by February 2026.

Historically, CURP codes facilitated everyday interactions such as filing taxes, registering companies, school enrollments, and applying for passports.

Accompanying this shift is a broader initiative to consolidate multiple government databases into a single Unified Identity Platform. Within 90 days, the Ministry of the Interior and the Digital Transformation Agency must launch the unified platform, which will be integrated into various public and private institutions’ databases.

Additionally, a separate program aimed at systematically collecting biometric data from minors is slated to commence within 120 days.

Despite the obvious privacy concerns, Mexican authorities argue that existing privacy legislation already sufficiently guards against unauthorized surveillance or misuse of sensitive data.

President Claudia Sheinbaum responded to privacy concerns earlier this month, clarifying, “A wiretap can only be approved by a judge, according to the Constitution and the law,” though that doesn’t placate concerns about data breaches and the wider introduction of a checkpoint society.

USDA ends Biden-era disaster relief program standards for farmers based on race, sex: legal watchdog

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has ended the Biden-era disaster relief program standards for farmers based on race and sex, which was praised by a legal watchdog that had been fighting the policies in court.

The USDA “has independently determined that it will no longer employ the race- and sex-based ‘socially disadvantaged’ designation to provide increased benefits based on race and sex in the programs at issue in this regulation,” the department said in its formal notice earlier this month.

The Southeastern Legal Foundation said  the USDA’s notice was in direct response to the watchdog’s victory in court in the case Strickland v. USDA. SLF’s lawsuit stopped eight disaster relief programs from the Biden administration that gave funds to farmers on the basis of race and sex, excluding white male farmers.

The USDA said that “the Strickland decision catalyzed the changes USDA is making in this rule to comport with the Constitution.”

SLF President Kim Hermann said in a statement: “This is a big win for SLF, but most importantly it is a huge win for America’s farmers. We are very thankful for the USDA’s revisions to these programs, and we are incredibly proud that we were able to play a part in protecting America’s farmers from race- and sex-based discrimination.

“Farming is one of the most important and difficult occupations in the world, where their hard work directly impacts everyone. They have to be able to do their jobs without having to worry about DEI nonsense, and we hope to see any forms of discrimination in federal programs come to a complete halt.”

Texas Sues US Masters Swimming for Defying President Trump’s Order By Allowing Men to Compete in Women’s Events

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced a lawsuit against US Masters Swimming (USMS) for defying President Trump’s order to protect women and girls by allowing men to compete in a women’s swim competition in May.

In February, President Donald Trump signed a landmark executive order ensuring that biological men cannot compete in women’s sports.

The signing ceremony, held at the White House, featured President Trump surrounded by young female athletes, symbolizing the administration’s commitment to safeguarding opportunities for women and girls in sports.

“Under the Trump administration, we will defend the proud tradition of female athletes, and we will not allow men to beat up, injure, and cheat our women and our girls. From now on, women’s sports will be ONLY FOR WOMEN!” Trump said during the signing ceremony.

Paxton shared details of the lawsuit, writing on X, “BREAKING: I’m suing U.S. Masters Swimming for engaging in illegal practices by allowing men to compete in women’s competitions. The organization has cowered to radical activists pushing gender warfare, and this lawsuit will hold USMS accountable for its actions.”

FBI gets an ‘F’ in trust due to recent scandals, but shows absolutely no remorse

It’s been a horrendous week for the FBI.

With its credibility already at rock bottom, each day brought a fresh scandal, and yet from the bureau’s unctuous public statements, there is no remorse.

Here are the top scandals of the week:

1) The Durham report. Here is the official record, for the history books, that the FBI’s “Russia collusion” investigation was cooked up by Hillary Clinton to denigrate Donald Trump by tying him to Russia “as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server” — and that, despite knowing it was bogus, the FBI went ahead and launched the ill-fated Crossfire Hurricane investigation, while dropping four probes into the Clinton Foundation. 

In fact, there was more evidence that the Clinton campaign had colluded with Russia to produce the farcical “Steele dossier,” on which Crossfire Hurricane relied, than ever there was of Trump collusion.

ICE Chief Says Agency is Going to Crack Down on Companies Employing Illegal Aliens

The acting head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Todd Lyons, has said that the agency will begin cracking down on companies that are employing illegal aliens.

Lyons discussed the agency’s plans during an interview with Face the Nation on CBS.

In addition to holding companies accountable, they will also be arresting anyone found in the country illegally, whether they have a criminal record or not, though they will prioritize catching “the worst of the worst.”

“What’s, again, frustrating for me is the fact that we would love to focus on these criminal aliens that are inside a jail facility,” Lyons said.”A local law enforcement agency, state agency already deemed that person a public safety threat and arrested them and they’re in detention.”

“I’d much rather focus all of our limited resources on that to take them into custody, but we do have to go out into the community and make those arrests, and that’s where you are seeing (that) increase in so-called ‘collateral’ arrests,” Lyons continued.

Leftist court slaps down Joe Biden’s wild claim that Equal Rights Amendment is ‘law of the land’

Now even a leftist court has sounded off on the wild claim by Democrats, other progressives, and Joe Biden that the Equal Rights Amendment now is “law of the land.”

The ERA was proposed back in the 1970s, some five decades ago. It was approved by Congress and states were given seven years to endorse it. The deadline even, under a questionable scheme, was “extended” by three years.

It failed.

Then, not just years, but decades after the deadline has passed, Democrats in several states schemed to vote on the idea, with Virginia’s “approval” coming just recently.

So claimed the Democrats that the damaging ERA, which could be applied to do things like erase abortion restrictions nationwide and require the draft for women, was the law.

Joe Biden quickly jumped out onto that limb.

The panel didn’t even bother to explain its reasoning, stating simply, “We reject as meritless Valame’s contention that the Equal Rights Amendment was ratified as the Twenty-Eight Amendment to the Constitution.”

It was Vikram Valame who raised the demand that the court create the 28th Amendment judicially in a fight over the legality of the Military Selective Service Act.

California High-Speed Train Boondoggle Reveals Collusion of Blue Government and Environmentalists

Socialists and Communists love trains for the masses.  They go where they are told, and Citizens do not have the freedom to change their mind and go somewhere else.  Cars and Freeways allow too much freedom.  The utopia of passenger trains in America was supposed to be the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) project to connect San Francisco and Los Angeles with over 800 miles of tracks.  From 1981 to 2008 plans were made and a vote to proceed was approved by Californians with funding via a state bond plus Federal Funding.  In 2015 the initial construction commenced.

Fortunately, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy and President Trump brought an end to this insanity and announced on July 16 that the Federal Railroad Administration was terminating and clawing back approximately $4 billion in unspent federal funding for California’s High-Speed Rail debacle.

Secretary Duffy’s announcement said, “After 16 years and roughly $15 billion spent, not one high speed track has been laid by the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA). The $135 billion projected total cost of the project could buy every San Francisco and LA resident nearly 200 roundtrip flights between the cities.

Secretary Duffy went on, “This is California’s fault. Governor Newsom and the complicit Democrats have enabled this waste for years. Federal dollars are not a blank check – they come with a promise to deliver results. After over a decade of failures, CHSRA’s mismanagement and incompetence has proven it cannot build its train to nowhere on time or on budget.  It’s time for this boondoggle to die.”  Governor Newsom recently appeared on the Shawn Ryan show and lied about all the progress on the CHSRA project.

Hunter Biden said if he were president, he would invade El Salvador if they didn’t send their own citizens from prison and send them to the United States.

“I would pick up the phone and call the f*cking President of El Salvador and say, you either f*cking send them back or I’m going to f*cking invade. It’s a f*cking crime what they’re doing. He’s a f*cking dictator!” Hunter shouted.

MAGA Going to Israel for Propaganda Training

The Israel foreign ministry will spend $86,000 to finance a tour of Israel for 16 Americans to get them to use their vast online influence to craft more positive images of a nation openly engaged in genocide. 

The effort is being made as Israel reacts to a significant turn in public opinion against it, especially by Western youth. Tel Aviv realizes its usual methods of propaganda — and apparently its own inhouse troll army — are no longer working as they once did. 

The daily Haaretz reported: 

“Foreign Ministry officials say the tour delivers significant media, advocacy, and diplomatic benefits – and represents a strategic shift, as traditional outreach is no longer sufficient to shape public opinion. They aim to leverage the massive followings of young social media influencers to bolster Israel’s standing in the U.S.” 

The Americans, whose names have not been divulged, belong to the MAGA and America First movements, the newspaper said. They are all younger than 30 and each have hundreds of thousands or millions of followers, a vast, target-rich environment for propaganda.  Israel intends to bring more than 500 “influencer delegations” to Israel this year, the ministry said.

It is paying an organization called Israel365 to organize the first American tour because it is in a “unique position to convey a pro-Israel stance that aligns entirely with the MAGA and America First agenda.” 

Israel365’s website says the group “stands unapologetically for the Jewish people’s God-given right to the entire Land of Israel,” calls the two-state solution a “delusion,” and says it’s defending “Western civilization against threats from both Progressive Left extremism and global jihad.” 

Israeli officials justified the no-bid contract with the organization because of its “experience and know-how in creating awareness, engagement, and mobilization of Christian audiences regarding their support for the Jewish people and the State of Israel,” Haaretz reported. 

Ministry officials told the newspaper that “while older Republicans and American conservatives still hold pro-Israel views, positive perspectives towards Israel are falling across all younger age groups.”

News of the tour comes after the U.S. national teachers union voted to ditch the Zionist curriculum of the Ant-Defamation League, which was influencing young American minds.

Western youth, including conservatives, have become increasingly aware of the history of Israel’s expulsion of Palestinian people from their land and of Israel’s stated genocidal intent and actions in Gaza today. It is a wave of understanding Israel needs to contain.

A ministry source said: “We’re working with influencers, sometimes with delegations of influencers. Their networks have huge followings, and their messages are more effective than if they came directly from the ministry.”

Professor Claims Pro-Life Americans are a Bunch of White Racists

A professor at the University of Kentucky claims that the American pro-life movement is closely linked to white nationalism and political extremism in a book set to be published next month.

Campus Reform reported that Carol Mason’s From the Clinics to the Capitol: How Opposing Abortion Became Insurrectionary, set to be published in August by the University of California Press, argues that opposition to abortion has played a significant role in shaping what she describes as anti-democratic movements in the US and abroad.

According to the publisher’s description, the book contends that “white nationalism and authoritarian populism have taken hold in America under the guise of opposing abortion,” and that “antiabortion stories, images, and policies have primed Americans to embrace attitudes and politics once deemed extreme.”

Mason is a professor in the university’s Gender and Women’s Studies department. Her academic interests include “critical studies of whiteness,” “race and reproduction,” and “Right-Wing Movements,” Campus Reform reported.

In the book, she analyzes decades of pro-life materials, linking them to a range of ideological developments including Cold War conspiracies, religious fundamentalism, Tea Party populism, and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

It also claims that American pro-life activism has supported the “global rise of the Right” through tactics, personnel, and funding.
