‘Largest NEH Grant in History’ Awarded to Jewish Org to Counter ‘Pathology of Antisemitism,’ Teach Talmud

The Trump administration, through the National Endowment for the Humanities, is giving the largest grant in the agency’s history — over $10 million — to the Jewish-American neoconservative Tikvah Fund to counter “the pathology of anti-Semitism” and teach the Talmud.

The Tikvah Fund is an Israel First group dedicated to advancing “Jewish excellence” that is run by CEO Eric Cohen and famed neoconservative Elliott Abrams.

The group made headlines last month for contributing “nearly 400,000 shekels (around $110,000)” to translate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s book into Hebrew and not reporting it as a political donation, Haaretz reported last month.

“Even though the memoir was used in the Likud campaign and some of the revenues presumably went to Netanyahu as the author, the 400,000 shekels was not reported as a political donation,” Haaretz noted.

From Haaretz, “U.S. Nonprofit Gave Over $100,000 to Publish Netanyahu’s Autobiography. It Wasn’t Reported as a Donation”:

The Tikvah Fund was founded in the 1990s. The roughly $15 million to $20 million it spends on annual operations are partly funded by donations and from returns on assets bequeathed by American Jewish businessman Zalman Bernstein.

The Tikvah Fund is among the funders of the Kohelet Policy Forum, a conservative Israeli think tank that provided the blueprint for the effort to weaken the judiciary, as declared by Justice Minister Yariv Levin on January 4, 2023.

Kohelet founder Moshe Koppel sits on Tikvah’s board. The fund has bankrolled conservative projects for years, some of them involving close associates of Netanyahu. These include the Mida website, founded by Netanyahu confidant Ran Baratz, and the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy, which is chaired by the former head of the National Security Council, Meir Ben-Shabbat. [Emphasis added]

Haaretz noted that Tikvah also hosts an annual conference in Tel Aviv.

“In its 60-year history, NEH had rarely given more than a few hundred thousand dollars to any single project,” the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports. “On Monday, the NEH announced an even larger, $10.4 million grant for a nationwide ‘Jewish Civilization Project’ aimed at combating antisemitism.”

“Among the prominent alumni of Tikvah’s programs is Jacob Reses, chief of staff to Vice President J.D. Vance,” JTA added.

Israel Wants ‘Aerial Corridor’ Over Syria to Strike Iran

Tel Aviv’s primary objective in discussions with Damascus is to establish an aerial corridor over Syria so Israel can restart its war against Iran.

Axios reports that Israel presented the Syrian government, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa, with a maximalist agreement that would establish a no-fly zone over Syria. Additionally, Tel Aviv wants a large swath of Syria, from the Israeli border to Damascus, to become a demilitarized zone.

An Israeli source told the outlet that an essential part of the agreement will be maintaining the ability to use Syrian airspace to attack Iran. “A central principle of the Israeli proposal is maintaining an aerial corridor to Iran via Syria, which would allow for potential future Israeli strikes in Iran,” they said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started an unprovoked war with Iran in June. Tel Aviv targeted leadership in Tehran, nuclear facilities, and scientists. President Donald Trump joined the war by striking three Iranian nuclear sites that Israel lacked the military capability to destroy.

Israeli forces currently occupy southern Syria. Israel promised to withdraw its troops from Syria if Damascus accepted the agreement. On Wednesday, Sharaa said a deal with Israel was possible “in the coming days.”

Tel Aviv made a similar agreement with Hezbollah, where Israeli soldiers were scheduled to withdraw from South Lebanon after Hezbollah moved its forces out of the region. However, after the Hezbollah withdrawal, Tel Aviv maintained its occupation. Israel is now demanding that Hezbollah entirely disarm.

The Israeli invasion of Syria began after President Bashar al-Assad was overthrown by al-Sharaa last year. Al-Sharaa, formerly Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, is the founder of al-Qaeda’s Syria affiliate. President Donald Trump has met with Sharaa and lifted some sanctions on Syria in a push to get Damascus to make a deal with Tel Aviv.

“We’re Done Discussing”: Biden Civil Rights Chair Clings to Power With Help From GOP Appointee

A Joe Biden appointee, with the help of fellow Democrat commissioners and one Republican-appointed commissioner, clung to power as chair of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, blocking a vote Friday on President Donald Trump’s designees to lead the commission.

In January, Trump designated two-decade veteran Republican commissioner Peter Kirsanow to be the new chairman of the Civil Rights Commission, replacing Rochelle Garza, who was appointed chair by Biden in 2023. Garza was the losing Democrat candidate for Texas attorney general in 2022.

The president also designated Commissioner Stephen Gilchrist to be the vice chair and named Carissa Mulder, a staffer for Kirsanow, to be the new staff director of the commission.

However, Garza has declined to step down as chair and didn’t allow a vote on a new chairman and vice chairman. While the president designates who among the commissioners he wants to lead the commission, the commissioners actually vote on the two positions.

The commission has eight members, split evenly among Republican and Democrat appointees. Four members are appointed by the president, two are appointed by the House, and two are appointed by the Senate. The commission was established in 1957 with the task of investigating and reporting on important civil rights issues.

At Friday’s meeting, Republican-appointed Commissioner J. Christian Adams moved to vote on all three Trump designees—Kirsanow, Gilchrist, and Mulder. He first moved to vote on Mulder.

“On Aug. 6, we received word that the president has nominated Carissa Mulder to be the staff director,” Adams said. “As everybody knows, there’s been a vacancy in this position all year long, since the inauguration.”

Garza cited procedural grounds to block Adams’ motion.

“We’re done discussing. I’ve already ruled the motion out of order,” Garza said. “The statute requires that the president request a concurrence from the commissioners, and our policies, our procedures, the statute requires a formal communication that indicates that.”

Adams responded that the White House did, in fact, notify the commission.

Vice Chair Victoria Nourse, also a Biden appointee, jumped in to say, “Everybody who’s on this commission knows it’s a first-year class that requires actual official notice, not just hearing through the grapevine.”

Adams, the president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, took exception to the characterization, saying, “That isn’t what happened. Come on. There was a written notice.”

“If we want to pretend that we didn’t hear about it, let’s just keep pretending, and we’ll let consequences fall where we might,” Adams said.

Garza appeared to grow upset and replied, “That sounds very threatening.”

“It wasn’t a threat. It’s reality,” Adams said. “The president has designated a staff director. But you don’t even want to allow a vote.”

The three other Democrat appointees on the commission voted to support Garza’s ruling to not vote for Trump’s choice of Mulder for staff director. Gail Heriot—appointed to the commission by Senate Republican leadership—abstained.

Though appointed and reappointed by Republicans since 2007, Heriot is listed as an independent on the commission website.

Adams made another motion to add a vote for the chair and vice chair to the agenda. This time, Heriot went a step further and voted with Democrats to kill the motion.

Chinese propaganda has even infiltrated the halls of Congress

On my very first day as a US congressman in January, I walked into my office on Capitol Hill and learned a startling lesson.

There among the array of American newspapers delivered free to every member of Congress was a copy of China Daily — a state-run propaganda arm of the Chinese Communist Party.

That’s when I knew my first piece of legislation needed to send a clear message: America is not for sale.

For too long, Washington has looked the other way as foreign adversaries have bought influence, shaped narratives and quietly infiltrated the institutions that are supposed to safeguard our democracy.

The bill I introduced to halt unsolicited delivery of China Daily to Capitol Hill was a necessary act of defense against information warfare being waged on our own soil.

China Daily is not journalism, but the voice of the Chinese Communist Party, registered as a foreign agent under US law.

By allowing it to be distributed through our internal mail systems — with taxpayer resources covering that cost — Congress was effectively endorsing foreign propaganda.

Pete too gay

What do you know? The party of diversity selected for a white male governor over a gay male cabinet member in the VP selection of 2024. Here is the story:

Former Vice President Kamala Harris revealed that Pete Buttigieg was her “first choice” as running mate in last year’s presidential election, but such a pairing “was too big of a risk,” according to an excerpt from her upcoming book.

Buttigieg, the former secretary of transportation and mayor of South Bend, Indiana, who is gay, “would have been an ideal partner — if I were a straight white man,” Harris wrote in a portion of “107 Days” published by The Atlantic.

“But we were already asking a lot of America: to accept a woman, a Black woman, a Black woman married to a Jewish man. Part of me wanted to say, Screw it, let’s just do it. But knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk,” she added. “And I think Pete also knew that — to our mutual sadness.”

So they settled on Governor Tim Walz because Secretary Buttigieg was gay? I remember when they called that “homophobic.”

My guess is that Secretary Buttigieg would not have helped much anyway. The issue was not the vice-presidential choice but rather a rejection of where the country was going.

What makes this story interesting is that Governor Josh Shapiro was “too Jewish,” the Secretary “too gay” and Governor Walz didn’t help because he was “too creepy.” Not exactly a major league roster over there.

I hope that all the LGBT+ remember this the next time they attend the Democrat convention.

Kavanaugh Would-Be Assassin Now Identifies As a Transgender Woman

The United States Department of Justice has formally recommended a prison sentence for the man who tried to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. But according to Court documents, Nicholas John Roske is now “Sophia Roske.”

Roske pleaded guilty to the crime in April of 2025, and a sentencing memo was filed on Friday in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland, according to a press release from the DOJ. The U.S. government is seeking a sentence of 30 years.

Roske claimed to suffer from severe mental illness at the time of his 2022 arrest. Now, that same instability appears to have driven him to identify as female, an episode that underscores both the growing trend of transgender-linked violence and the broader, unaddressed mental health crisis in America.

AI Giants Under Fire: Child Data EXPLOITATION?

On September 11, 2025, the FTC announced formal orders compelling seven tech giants to disclose detailed information about their consumer-facing AI chatbots. The companies under scrutiny include Alphabet (Google), Meta, OpenAI, Character.AI, Snap, and Elon Musk’s xAI. This action represents one of the most significant regulatory interventions into the AI industry since these platforms exploded in popularity following ChatGPT’s 2022 launch.

The timing raises questions about why previous administrations allowed these potentially dangerous technologies to proliferate unchecked for years. While American families watched their children become increasingly isolated and dependent on AI interactions, federal regulators stood by as Big Tech harvested unprecedented amounts of personal data from minors. The investigation should have begun the moment these companies started targeting children with addictive AI experiences designed to maximize engagement and profit.

Protecting Our Children From Digital Predators

The FTC’s inquiry specifically examines how these companies measure, test, and monitor potential negative impacts on children and teenagers. This focus comes after mounting evidence that AI chatbots can cause psychological harm, particularly among vulnerable young users who may develop unhealthy emotional dependencies on artificial relationships. The investigation also scrutinizes how companies monetize user engagement and process the sensitive personal information children share with these systems.

Parents across America have watched helplessly as their children retreat into conversations with AI entities that collect every intimate detail shared in confidence. These companies have essentially created digital environments where children reveal their deepest fears, desires, and personal struggles—all while sophisticated algorithms analyze this information for commercial purposes. The potential for manipulation and exploitation is staggering, yet these platforms operated with virtually no oversight until now.

Tragedy Sparks Overdue Investigation

The investigation gained urgency following a lawsuit against OpenAI after a teenager’s suicide was allegedly linked to ChatGPT interactions. This tragic case highlights the real-world consequences of allowing unregulated AI systems to interact with emotionally vulnerable young people. The lawsuit raises disturbing questions about whether these companies adequately warn users about potential psychological risks or implement sufficient safeguards to prevent harm.

Character.AI, specifically designed for extended conversations with AI personalities, presents particularly concerning risks for children seeking emotional connection. Young users often treat these AI characters as real friends or confidants, potentially replacing genuine human relationships with artificial substitutes. The long-term psychological impact of these interactions remains largely unknown, yet millions of children engage with these platforms daily without meaningful parental controls or safety measures.

Texas A&M President Resigns After Firestorm Over Viral Gender Ideology Video

The President of Texas A&M University, Mark A. Welsh III, will be stepping down from his post, following a controversial video that went viral on social media, where a student challenged a lesson on gender ideology in their literature class. The university faced immediate backlash from lawmakers, and resulted in the firing of a senior lecturer in the schools English department.

Texas A&M University System Chancellor Glenn Hegar announced Welsh’s resignation on Thursday, calling it “the right moment for change,” but made no mention of the viral video.

Today, President Welsh has submitted his resignation, and both the Board of Regents and I agree that this is the right moment for change. Together, we believe this transition is necessary to ensure Texas A&M is well positioned for the future, a future that demands bold leadership, continued innovation, and an unwavering commitment to the core values of this university to meet the challenges we face.

The resignation will take effect on Friday, and comes a week after Welsh directed the campus provost to fire Professor Melissa McCoul, following significant political pressure after the viral video surfaced, from Republican lawmakers and Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

According to the NY Post, Welsh argued in firing her that the content the student challenged “did not align with any reasonable expectation of standard curriculum for the course.”

McCoul’s attorney, Amanda Reichek, however, argued that the “course content was entirely consistent with the catalog and course description, and she was never instructed to change her course content in any way, shape, or form.”

Welsh also moved to remove the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and the head of the English Department. while Hegar initiated a university wide audit of multiple courses.

Liberal Texas Parents Group Caught Doxxing High School Students for Organizing Turning Point USA Chapter

A liberal parents’ group in Texas has been accused of doxxing high school students who were attempting to organize a Turning Point USA chapter at their school in the wake of founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination, according to Moms for Liberty.

The Harris County chapter of Moms for Liberty uncovered the actions of “Be the Change SBISD,” a group operating in the Spring Branch Independent School District.

The group allegedly published social media content from the students involved in forming the TPUSA “Club America” at Stafford High School, in an effort to prevent the club from holding meetings on campus.

The Moms for Liberty chapter posted screenshots on X, writing, “Stratford HS TEENS forming a TPUSA Club America were DOXXED by ADULTS sharing students’ internal GroupMe content in a ‘BE THE CHANGE’ private FB group, urging 730 members, operating in secrecy, to also intimidate teacher sponsors. REPREHENSIBLE. These are KIDS!”

Kamala Harris Eviscerates Joe Biden Over Pre-Debate Phone Call

Former Vice President Kamala Harris threw some serious shade at her former boss in her book about why she failed to win the 2024 presidential election.

Politico published an excerpt from Harris’ book in which she criticized former President Joe Biden over a phone call he made to her just before her debate with President Donald Trump.

Moments before a make-or-break debate with Donald Trump, Kamala Harris got an unexpected phone call: It was a peeved President Joe Biden, demanding to know why she had been bad-mouthing him to donors.

The call left Harris rattled at a critical moment in her abbreviated campaign and highlighted her at-times strained relationship with her boss, the former vice president writes in a new memoir released Thursday.

“My head had to be right. I had to be completely in the game,” she recalled. “I just couldn’t understand why he would call me, right now, and make it all about himself.”

Harris recounts the anecdote in “107 Days,” her account of her failed sprint of a campaign for the White House, to illustrate what she portrays as an at-times strained relationship with Biden before and after his decision to abruptly abandon his reelection effort.

Harris wrote she felt “warmth and loyalty” towards Biden, but that their relationship was tested leading up to the election, including with the phone call ahead of the September debate when he accused her of criticizing him to “powerbrokers” in Philadelphia. “Why’s he asking that?” Harris wrote.
