Obamacare Subsidies Led to Billions in Insurer Profits, CEOs Donated to Democrats

When Democrats shut down the federal government for 42 days, millions of Americans suffered. Veterans couldn’t access services, national parks closed their gates, and federal workers went without paychecks. Nice priorities, right? But the real reason for their obstinacy wasn’t principle—it was profit.

While you weren’t looking, a massive wealth transfer was taking place. While families struggled to make ends meet during the shutdown, Democrat donors in the insurance industry were protecting their golden goose: taxpayer-funded subsidies that have made them billions. The shutdown wasn’t about healthcare—it was about keeping the money flowing to the right pockets.

From ‘Just the News’:

The 42-day federal shutdown forced by Democrats thrust the economics of Obamacare into the limelight, and exposed an uncomfortable truth: An insurance industry whose executives are increasingly liberal donors has seen its earnings soar with the injection of taxpayer-funded subsidies that propped up Barack Obama’s signature health program from collapse.

The nation’s largest health insurance companies have seen good business since Obamacare was first passed in 2010 and fully implemented in 2014. This has come in no small part because of federal government subsidies to the insurance industry, which government estimates show totaled $1.8 trillion in 2023 alone.

This is outrageous. One-point-eight TRILLION dollars. In one year. Your money, their pockets.

The evidence is damning. Since Obamacare’s implementation, the four largest health insurance companies saw their profits explode by 216%. UnitedHealth Group, which dominates the industry, experienced the most dramatic windfall. Their stock prices didn’t just beat the market—they crushed it, growing 1,032% since the law passed, compared to just 251% for the S&P 500.

Maine Democrat Senate Candidate Graham Platner Caught on Tape Saying He Wants to ‘Stack’ the Supreme Court and Impeach Two Justices

Maine Democrat Graham Platner, a candidate for the U.S. Senate who has been caught saying racist and sexist things on the internet, admitted he is a communist, and also has lost staffers due to a scandal about his actual Nazi tattoo, is back in the news.

Platner was caught on tape saying to supporters that he wants his party to regain control of the senate in order to ‘stack’ the Supreme Court. He then went on to say that they should also impeach two justices. One can safely assume that Justice Clarence Thomas is one of them and the other is surely another conservative.

This guy belongs nowhere near the United States Senate. He is a total radical.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

Graham Platner Calls To Stack the Supreme Court and Impeach ‘At Least Two’ Sitting Justices

Senate candidate Graham Platner called to stack the Supreme Court and impeach “at least two” of its sitting justices, moves he said should be top priorities for Democrats should they retake the upper chamber next year.

“We’re going to have to start treating the Supreme Court like the political action wing that it has become of conservatism,” Platner said Saturday during a Somerset County Democrats meeting in the central Maine town of Skowhegan. “It is not functioning as a constitutional body.”

“I’m a supporter of stacking the Court,” he continued. “I’m also a supporter of, I mean, the Senate can write its own rules. … I firmly believe if we held Supreme Court justices to the same standard that we hold other federal judges, there’s a compelling case for the impeachment and removal of at least two justices.”

“It’s very frustrating to me that there are Democrats in the Senate that either do not understand or don’t want to understand the power they actually have. … If we retake the Senate, get the majority—fingers crossed—we need to use every single lever of power that we have to deal with the Supreme Court.”

Trump Offers Lifeline To UK ‘Thought Criminals’

The Trump White House is mulling political asylum for British free speech activists branded “thought criminals” under Keir Starmer’s regime, in one example offering refugee status to those prosecuted for silent protests outside abortion clinics as well as expressing online dissent.

The transatlantic intervention, said to be largely influenced by Elon Musk continually pointing to cases of the UK punishing people for “thought crimes,” signals America’s readiness to shield allies from creeping authoritarianism.

Administration insiders are intently exploring the option of offering visas and refugee status, focusing on figures like Livia Tossici-Bolt, prosecuted in March 2023 for holding a sign near a Bournemouth abortion clinic reading “Here to talk if you want,” and Adam Smith Connor, convicted for a vigil outside Poole Magistrates Court.

A source close to the process called the plan “serious,” noting officials are “beginning to consider” extending protections to gender critical activists, immigration critics, and even pro-abortion campaigners hit with “thought crimes.”

UN makes “landmark” deal on information integrity to shut up annoying denialists

Look out. Climate Denialism is a “security threat” now

As the Net Zero fantasy crumbles and the political tide shifts, the Blob has up’d the ante and pressed the red hot “security threat” button. Climate deniers are now such a mortal threat (to the sinecures of the Blobcrats) they must be contained.

As David Archibald says “When they have lost the argument, they change the rules.”

Countries seal landmark declaration at COP30—marking first time information integrity is prioritized at UN Climate Conference

Drafted in collaboration with civil society members of the Global Initiative Advisory Group, the Declaration has been endorsed by ten countries so far – Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Uruguay.

“Climate change is no longer a threat of the future; it is a tragedy of the present,” said President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in Belém. “We live in an era in which obscurantists reject scientific evidence and attack institutions. It is time to deliver yet another defeat to denialism.”

Oh, the horrible obscurantists! Humanity will be saved, but only if governments can rule without having to answer difficult questions.

The UN must be feeling fragile because the term “denialism” is decidedly unscientific — it is the language of political and religious struggle, not of atmospheric physics.

Perhaps they’re afraid the world might recognize that the UN is a superfluous, bloodsucking freeloader?  To make themselves useful, the UN are providing an excuse for sympathetic (socialist) governments to launch information integrity commissions, or to fund “research” into misinformation online.

Trump’s Ploy at the UN Is American Imperialism Masquerading as a Peace Process

The Trump administration is pushing an Israeli-crafted resolution at the UN Security Council (UNSC) this week aimed at eliminating the possibility of a State of Palestine. The resolution does three things. It establishes US political control over Gaza. It separates Gaza from the rest of Palestine. And it allows the US, and therefore Israel, to determine the timeline for Israel’s supposed withdrawal from Gaza – which would mean: never.

This is imperialism masquerading as a peace process. In and of itself it’s no surprise. Israel runs US foreign policy in the Middle East. What is a surprise is that the US and Israel might just get away with this travesty unless the world speaks up with urgency and indignation.

The draft UNSC resolution would establish a US-UK-dominated Board of Peace, chaired by none other than Donald Trump himself, and endowed with sweeping powers over Gaza’s governance, borders, reconstruction, and security. This resolution would sideline the State of Palestine and condition any transfer of authority to the Palestinians on the indulgence of the Board of Peace.

This would be an overt return to the British Mandate of 100 years ago, with the only change being that the US would hold the mandate rather than Britain. If it weren’t so utterly tragic, it would be laughable. As Marx said, history repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce. Yes, the proposal is farce, yet Israel’s genocide is not. It is tragedy of the first order.

Incredibly, according to the draft resolution, the Board of Peace would be granted sovereign powers in Gaza. Palestinian sovereignty is left to the discretion of the Board, which alone would decide when Palestinians are “ready” to govern themselves – perhaps in another 100 years? Even military security is subordinated to the Board, and the envisioned forces would answer not to the UN Security Council or to the Palestinian people, but to the Board’s “strategic guidance.”

The US-Israel resolution is being put forward precisely because the rest of the world – other than Israel and the US – has woken up to two facts. First, Israel is committing genocide, a reality witnessed every day in Gaza and the West Bank, where innocent Palestinians are murdered to the satisfaction of the Israel Defense Forces and the illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Second, Palestine is a state, albeit one whose sovereignty remains obstructed by the US, which uses its veto in the UNSC to block Palestine’s permanent UN membership. At the UN this past July and then again in September, the UN General Assembly voted overwhelmingly for Palestine’s statehood, a fact that put the Israel-US Zionist lobby into overdrive, resulting in the current draft resolution.

For Israel to accomplish its goal of Greater Israel, the US is pursuing a classic divide-and-conquer strategy, squeezing Arab and Islamic states with threats and inducements. When other countries resist the US-Israel demands, they are cut off from critical technologies, lose access to World Bank and IMF financing, and suffer Israeli bombing, even in countries with US military bases present. The US offers no real protection; rather, it orchestrates a protection racket, extracting concessions from countries wherever US leverage exists. This extortion will continue until the global community stands up to such tactics and insists upon genuine Palestinian sovereignty and US and Israeli adherence to international law.

Palestine remains the endless victim of US and Israeli maneuvers. The results are not just devastating for Palestine, which has suffered an outright genocide, but for the Arab world and beyond. Israel and the US are currently at war, overtly or covertly, across the Horn of Africa (Libya, Sudan, Somalia), the Eastern Mediterranean (Lebanon, Syria), the Gulf region (Yemen), and Western Asia (Iraq, Iran).

Climate Scientists Claim That Global Warming Is Going To Cause A New Ice Age?

In the past, climate change has been consistently ranked as a “top concern” for people all over the world. However, that priority has shifted in recent years according to a revealing study published in October by global research firm Ipsos.

The change has been dramatic. In 2025, public concern over climate change has fallen sharply behind concerns of war and economic instability, with geopolitical turmoil and the cost of living crisis.  Ipsos’ 2025 Global Consumer Awareness Survey, which was published in collaboration with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), covers 50 countries and surveyed more than 40,000 respondents.  It found that war and the economy now dominate public worries at 52%, while climate change trails at just 31%.

Climate scientists say this drop in public concern over global warming is disturbing.  They claim 2024 was the “hottest year on record” (which is a lie), and that the populace should be more worried, not less.

The public is, of course, more concerned about the immediate dangers to their standard of living and such threats have easily supplanted climate change:  A threat which we have been browbeaten with over the course of decades even though it never seems to materialize.

However, education on the facts surrounding climate change has also given the public perspective and people are beginning to realize that climate science might just be one of the biggest scams of the 21st Century.  In other words, the indoctrination is failing and less and less people are buying into the hysteria.

Climate science is an industry that us built like a labyrinthine bureaucracy.  Various governments worldwide spend around $10 billion annually on direct funding for climate research.  The scam is lucrative, and so the scam must continue.  But what happens when climate predictions turn out consistently false and the public gets wise?

The Media Panics After Trump Calls for the Release of Epstein Files

On Sunday night, President Donald Trump turned the tables on the Democrats, who spent four years under Joe Biden doing nothing about the Epstein files, by calling for them to be released.

“House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

Now the liberal media is struggling to come to grips with this development, as this completely blows up the narrative they’ve been pushing. On CNN Monday morning, John Berman pushed the narrative that Trump’s actions signal a waning influence over the GOP.

Republican strategist Melik Abdul didn’t buy that argument one bit.

“I think what the frustration that Donald Trump and many people — even like me — who have been critical of Donald Trump at times — we realize that this is an effort — this whole Epstein effort is an effort to really prosecute Donald Trump in the court of public opinion,” Abdul stated bluntly.

He continued dismantling the narrative by pointing out an inconvenient truth that CNN clearly didn’t want to hear: “There is not a single shred of evidence that links Donald Trump to a single crime. Not a victim, not a court case links Donald Trump to a crime. And I know that the media itself is aware of that, but the more you keep talking about it over and over again, linking Donald Trump to something potentially nefarious, that actually gets the news cycle going.”

He added, “But everyone knows that there is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime, but I am glad that he ended up in this same space.”

Christine Quinn, president and CEO of WIN and former New York City Council speaker, attempted to deflect. “This isn’t about Donald Trump. We don’t know what’s in those files. He’s created the belief that there is something about him in there because he won’t release them,” she insisted before trying to pivot.

‘Deeply ashamed’: Larry Summers steps away from public life after Epstein emails

Larry Summers, a former Treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton and the former president of Harvard University, said he’s stepping back from public life after his apparent conversations with Jeffrey Epstein were released last week by the House Oversight Committee.

“I am deeply ashamed of my actions and recognize the pain they have caused. I take full responsibility for my misguided decision to continue communicating with Mr. Epstein,” Summers said in a statement on Monday.

Summers is currently a member of Harvard’s faculty, according to the Harvard Crimson.

“While continuing to fulfill my teaching obligations, I will be stepping back from public commitments as one part of my broader effort to rebuild trust and repair relationships with the people closest to me,” he said.

Britain’s Speech Gulag Exposed: 10,000 Arrested Last Year For Social Media Posts

A damning study complete with an interactive map has revealed that UK police arrested nearly 10,000 people in 2024 for “grossly offensive” social media posts—equivalent to 30 arrests every single day—while knife crime, burglary, and sexual offences go unsolved.

This Orwellian crackdown, driven by vague “communications” laws, has turned Britain into an international embarrassment, with forces devoting more manpower to policing opinions than protecting citizens.

Compiled from Freedom of Information requests to 39 police forces, the data shows 9,700 arrests in 2024 alone under the Communications Act 2003 and Malicious Communications Act 1988.

‘Spider robot’ promises to build entire houses in less than 24 hours

A spider-shaped construction robot named Charlotte is being developed in Sydney to 3D print a full-size house in roughly a day. Developers say the machine can autonomously form structural walls for about a 2,150-square-foot home using locally sourced materials.

Instead of cement and bricks delivered by truck, Charlotte compacts sand, soil, and clean waste into layered walls on-site. Researchers argue that this single-machine approach removes long supply chains and many high-carbon steps.

Charlotte, the construction robot

Charlotte is a mobile, legged system that pairs robotics with additive manufacturing, building objects layer by layer with a printer.

The prototype shown in Sydney is not a finished product, but its architecture offers a clear view of where construction automation is heading.

The work was led by Clyde Webster, founding director at Crest Robotics in Sydney. His work centers on agile field robots for construction tasks that are hard, repetitive, or risky. Momentum comes from the housing crunch and a push to cut carbon.

“The building materials that we use today – even a simple brick has so many processes involved and some of them very – very carbon-intensive,” said Dr. Jan Golembiewski, co-founder of Earthbuilt Technology.

From soil to structure

Crest describes an undercarriage-mounted system that gathers sand, earth, and crushed brick, binds the mix in textiles, and then compacts it into successive layers.

At the core is extrusion – pushing a material through a nozzle to form layers. That lets a robot produce continuous courses without mortar joints, guided by digital plans.

“It will work at the speed of over 100 bricklayers,” said Dr. Golembiewski. The team stresses speed as much as simplicity.

Range of motion matters, too, since legs can step over uneven ground where wheeled rigs bog down. A compact, folding frame also makes transport easier, which is essential for remote sites.

Charlotte robots can cut carbon

Buildings use a lot of energy and materials. A UN Environment Programme report notes that in 2022 the sector accounted for 37 percent of energy- and process-related carbon dioxide emissions.

Cutting the most carbon-heavy steps in early stages can have outsized effects later. That is where embodied carbon, the total emissions from making and moving materials, becomes a key metric for builders and regulators.

Charlotte’s creators claim their method avoids cement entirely while turning clean waste into durable walls. If performance and safety data hold up, that would cut both cost and emissions on the same job.

There is a workforce angle as well. Automation that handles repetitive, high-risk tasks could reduce injuries while letting smaller crews do more skilled work.
