The ‘Dangerous Speech Project’: The Swamp’s Newest Censorship Project
You’ve heard of “hate speech.” Now introducing a new way to demonize free speech: The Dangerous Speech Project.
Birthed from the bloated bowels of US academia is a cottage industry of speech suppression on behalf of the corporate state.
It rolls out new pseudo-woke virtue-signaling campaigns whenever it gets the chance — the bread and butter of overpaid academics. Mortgages don’t pay themselves.
Enter the Dangerous Speech Project, which ostensibly claims to want to make speech “safer.” It is the brainchild of Susan Benesch, faculty associate at Harvard’s “Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society” and an esteemed Ivy League “Scholar of Speech.”
The project defines “dangerous speech” as “any form of expression (speech, text, or images) that can increase the risk that its audience will condone or participate in violence against members of another group.” Yet, Benesch and comrades offer no way to objectively measure that increased risk of violence.
“Dangerous speech” as a social science concept conveniently lacks any way to objectively measure its applicability in any given real-world situation. This leaves the interpreting to the whims of the censor – perfect for Silicon Valley technocrats (more on that later).
Spain Passes Law Mandating Face Masks Even While Swimming in the Sea
Spain has passed a new law forcing people to wear face masks everywhere outside and even while swimming in the sea.
Yes, really.
The legislation, which came into effect on Wednesday, mandates face coverings for children as young as six, with refusniks facing fines of €100 euros.
The only exemption to the rule is adults playing sports outside, but people tanning outside or swimming in a pool or the ocean are still required to cover up.
“This will apply to people who are sunbathing or even swimming in the sea,” confirms the London Evening Standard.
The utter stupidity and real danger of having to wear a face mask while swimming in the sea goes without saying.

The media went gaga after news broke that Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was riding his bike to work.
What a guy!

Now we know it was all a dog and pony show like everything the Democrats do and say.
Pete Buttigieg used an armored gas-guzzling Suburban to bring a bike within a short distance of the destination. Then he was caught on video unloading the bike and riding in with a security detail in tow, pretending to save energy.

Biden administration offering $500k in contest for improved mask designs
The Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday that the agency “launched an innovation challenge competition today encouraging American inventors to aid the nation’s COVID-19 response by designing effective, comfortable face masks for personal use that resolve the common concerns people have about wearing masks” such as “fogged glasses” and “difficulty speaking through face coverings.”
Submissions for the contest are due by April 21, and up to 10 winners will be eligible to receive $10,000 prizes in the first phase. Up to “5 winners will be selected to split a total $400,000 prize purse” in the second phase.

Congress Plots Nationalization of Civics Education
If you thought Common Core was bad, hang on to your hats. Establishment politicians in Congress from both parties are plotting to nationalize the teaching of civics, all but ensuring that the unhinged obsession with indoctrinating children will be supercharged to dangerous new levels.
Experts are warning of disaster. Indeed, under the absurdly named “Civics Secures Democracy Act,” the lies, fake history, LGBT fanaticism and hyper-race-mongering that now permeates indoctrination centers in California and Illinois will soon be in every government school nationwide.
History and civics are both in the cross-hairs. And despite the relatively innocuous-sounding language in the legislation, experts and analysts say it will open the door wide for Washington, D.C., to shove Critical Race Theory and “community organizing” into every government school in America.
If The Answer To Every Question Is ‘White Supremacy,’ Someone Is Lying To You
According to the U.S. Department of Justice in 2018, there were 182,230 attacks against Asian people. Every race except for Asians was most likely to be victimized by someone of their own race. Asians, however, were most likely to be victimized by a black person. 27.5% of attacks against Asian people were committed by black people, compared to 24.1% by white people and 24.1% by Asian people. Just 7.0% of these attacks were committed by Hispanic people.
Representing 13.4% of the U.S. population, black people are vastly overrepresented among perpetrators of violent acts against Asian Americans, making the “blame white supremacy” line ever more challenging for the opportunistic Left.
What makes matters “worse” for the Left is that several attacks against Asian Americans have been shared widely on social media, further contradicting their claim that anti-Asian violence is unique to white Americans. For example, security cameras recorded an attack committed in New York, in which a 65-year-old Asian woman was brutally beaten in the street, reportedly by the later-identified and arrested Brandon Elliot. Elliot is black.
