Obama Slammed for ‘Disgusting’ Decision to Speak at Event Organized by Man with Troubling Past

Former President Barack Obama is under fire for his decision to speak at an upcoming event in Napa Valley, California.

According to Politico, the former president will deliver remarks to an audience of CEOs brought together by Declan Kelly, former chairman and chief executive of the consulting firm Teneo, who resigned from that position after reportedly getting drunk and groping a number of women at a high-powered charity event in 2021.

“It’s disgusting to have a president who has championed women speak at an event hosted by someone with this type of track record of treating women,” a female former employee said, speaking on condition of anonymity, according to Politico.

Another anonymous former Teneo employee agreed.

“President Obama should not be in the business of rehabbing the reputation and accepting money from someone accused of groping multiple people at a charity event. Some red lines are not meant to be crossed,” the second former employee said, according to Politico.

According to a report at the time from the New York Post’s Page Six, the 2021 charity event was the VIP party that followed the Vax Live concert organized by the organization Global Citizen.

Vax Live billed itself as “a global broadcast special celebrating COVID-19 vaccines.” It was chaired by Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, and featured messages from the now-deceased Pope Francis and then-President Joe Biden.

“One source told Page Six that Kelly was extremely drunk and acted inappropriately with as many as six women at the party in front of other guests,” the column reported.

Kelly resigned from Teneo less than two months later, according to a CNBC report.

“Since the event two months ago Mr. Kelly immediately committed to sobriety, is undertaking ongoing counselling from healthcare professionals, and has temporarily reduced his work responsibilities,” a representative of Kelly told The Wall Street Journal at the time.

Meanwhile, Kelly’s connections to powerful figures in the Democratic Party go beyond Obama.

From 2009 through 2011, Kelly served as special economic envoy to Northern Ireland under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Likewise, a co-founder of Teneo, the company Kelly led, was Doug Band, a one-time counselor to former President Bill Clinton who was credited in a 2020 Vanity Fair as having “virtually invented Clinton’s postpresidential life.”

Now, Kelly serves as founder, chairman, and CEO of the investment company Consello. Senior management at the company includes former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Consello organized the event where Obama will speak.

We Need to Stop Letting Democrats Casually Commit Felonies With No Consequences

It’s incredibly demoralizing to law-abiding, rule-following, normal Americans to watch Democrats publicly commit crimes without ever getting in trouble for it.

I’m not talking about the indictments and prosecutions of high-level Democrats on charges that may or may not hold up in court — the Jim Comeys and Letitia Jameses. These prosecutions may or may not be at least partly politically motivated, but Democrats will always think that’s all they were. And the refined legal arguments for conviction stand little chance of success in leftist jurisdictions like Washington and New York.

I’m talking about Democrat politicians who knowingly flout the law, brazenly and openly, on video for all to see. These people are undeniably committing serious, felony-level crimes which all Americans can see with their own eyes.

Democrats have always been the lawless party. Look what they did with mass illegal immigration. But back then, they at least pretended to have legal justification. For example, their gross distortion and semi-execution of asylum laws was met halfway by international NGOs coaching the aliens on exactly what to say to give it all that fig-leaf of defensibility.

Also, failing to enforce the law and claiming it’s a policy argument is not the same thing as brazenly, openly breaking the law.

Let’s start with Tennessee State Rep. Justin Pearson. Yesterday, when the House voted to redistrict itself (potentially taking the state from 9-1 Republican to Democrat representation in the U.S. House to 10-0), Pearson threw quite the fit. Action News 5 sets the scene:

Cameras in the Tennessee Capitol captured a tense moment between State Representative Justin J. Pearson (D-Memphis) and state troopers who were detaining his brother Thursday, moments after GOP lawmakers passed a new congressional map that split the brothers’ city into three districts.

Before state Republicans passed the newly proposed congressional map on Thursday, protests erupted in the House chamber, prompting Tennessee Highway Patrol to remove demonstrators.

“Get the f*** back!” Justin is heard shouting at officers as he and his brother, KeShaun Pearson, were being escorted out of the House chambers.

The Memphis lawmaker could be heard raising his voice at one particular trooper as the crowd moved outside. “Boy! The f*** is wrong with you?! The f*** is wrong with you?! Stupid m***********…”

Troopers were seen on video bringing at least one other person into custody.

Pearson hugged KeShaun and told him he was proud of him before troopers took him away.

Bernie Sanders Attacks Google Founder and It’s Pathetic

Google is so ubiquitous that it’s not just a website. It’s a verb and part of our lexicon, fundamentally changing the way we get information and explore the Internet. While opinions may vary on whether or not that’s a good thing, founder Sergey Brin created a product that changed the world and deserves every penny of the wealth he earned.

Unless you’re a Democrat who thinks Brin is just being greedy for daring to participate in the democratic process that Democrats claim to love so much.

That’s what Bernie Sanders believes, and he attacked Brin for having more wealth while opposing the California Democrat’s plan to steal money from billionaires.

Remember, the proposed legislation has a provision that will allow California Democrats to confiscate a percentage of everyone’s wealth down the road, including middle- and working-class Californians.

Sanders, on the other hand, has done nothing of value. He was so lazy a socialist he got the boot from at least one commune. Despite that, he’s managed to game the capitalist system he despises, making a fortune and owning three houses.

California Screamin’: Media Begins Taking Notice of Dem Disaster

A funny thing happened on the way to the (Kia) Forum. The media has begun to take notice of the results emerging from decades of Democrat rule in the Golden State. And suddenly, California dreaming looks a lot more like California screaming – and even the lockstep media can’t ignore it. 

Democrats have only themselves to blame, not just for the disaster they have made of the state but also in providing the catalyst for the national spotlight on it. In the gubernatorial race, a flood of high-profile Democrats jumped into the jungle primary – also a Democrat innovation – while Republicans had more discipline and kept it to two main candidates, Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco. The possibility and near-probability of a vote split on the Left made the potential for a Hilton-Bianco runoff so novel and interesting that the national media couldn’t resist it. And with that spotlight on California comes scrutiny over just how badly Gavin Newsom and two generations of Democrat-only leadership have ruined the state.

Today, Axios takes particular notice of what it calls “the ultimate paradox of Democratic rule,” which the rest of us would call the utterly predictable results. Axios also links the high-profile mayoral race in Los Angeles, with the context of failures in every aspect of governance:

The two most consequential races in California have devolved into twin spectacles, with years of visible dysfunction hollowing out Democrats’ case for competent leadership.

Why it matters: California is the ultimate paradox of Democratic rule. A state of immense wealth, innovation and cultural power is increasingly unable to deliver the basics of housing, public safety and disaster response.

The big picture: Those failures have been building for years.

  • But COVID and last year’s catastrophic fires have transformed long-simmering frustration with California governance into a visceral public indictment of the people running the state — one now playing out in the races for governor and Los Angeles mayor.

These failures have indeed been building for years, but the national media has never given it much notice until now. The Protection Racket Media has given Gavin Newsom in particular a pass for it despite his antics as an absentee governor. The media loves to feature him as a Temu Trump and a podcaster while almost literally playing Nero while Los Angeles burned last year. Newsom’s COVID policies turned out to be disastrous, too, so bad in fact that he got caught several times violating them for his own personal desires.

New York Turns Blind Eye to Crazy Man Terrorizing Bronx Apartment Building

Things in New York City are not good, and getting worse under the Zohran Mamdani administration. Democrats make deliberate choices to lower the quality of life for law-abiding citizens in order to prop up dangerous, violent, and deviant criminals. In one Bronx apartment building, residents are being terrorized by a violent “transgender” person named Anthony Orozco, and the government doesn’t seem interested in ending his reign of terror.

A cross-dressing “tenant from hell” has terrorized a Bronx apartment building by wildly waving around weapons, masturbating in a hallway and almost causing a catastrophe when he turned on all his gas burners, according to footage and neighbors.

The off-the-rails renter apparently wears an array of wigs when harassing neighbors and hasn’t paid rent in more than a year at the East 214th Street building in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx, according to the building management company and apartment residents.

But management can’t give him the boot just yet as building residents live in fear.

“The blonde wig, he messes with me. The pink wig, he messes with the guy on the second floor. The red wig, he messes with the third floor,” tenant Leonia Clemente, 44, told The Post.

Hochul Dragged on Social Media After Post Targeting Privately Made Firearms

I get that states like New York, and governors like Kathy Hochul aren’t fans of gun ownership in general, but especially when they don’t get to have some kind of control over who gets a gun and who doesn’t. They want to be able to peer into the industry and know everything, which is why anything that removes a gun from that paper trail is a bad thing. For them, 3D printers spell doom, which is why Hochul opted to go after them.

But the truth of the matter is that the internet is a strange place, and if you’re going to live by the tweet, you will also die by the tweet.

Hochul made a post about “ghost guns,” and unsurprisingly, the internet had thoughts.

Here are just a few of the responses Hochul’s post received:

  • “Democrats are the fastest-growing gun safety threat in the country.”
  • “People will just buy the printers in another State.”
  • “Have you considered banning basements and garages to stop the construction of these ghost guns?”
  • “Does she realize guns aren’t generally printed only certain components so good luck with ‘software’ that can determine what is exactly being printed.”
  • “Yay! Another way to control Americans…You. Are. So. Brave.”
  • “Why would NY expend any resources to prevent people from exercising their Second Amendment rights? Meanwhile, you release violent criminals without bond and they repeat their crimes harming more New Yorkers. You should be ashamed.”
  • “Eliminate the Gang Data Base. Handcuff Police. Provide Sanctuary to Illegal Aliens. Track 3d printers.”

And the backlash extends through post after post.

And it should.

See, the truth of the matter is that so-called ghost guns are certainly scary sounding, but the data doesn’t really back up the idea of them being some massive threat. When I wrote about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s jihad against 3D printers, I noted how few of these guns turn up, even with this massive growth in their use, especially when compared to violent crime involving a firearm as a whole.

As People Worry About the Hantavirus, Some Recall This Scary Story Out of Australia

An outbreak of the hantavirus on a cruise ship has many worried we’re about to experience COVID 2.0. The WHO said the other day that this is different, and that the hantavirus — a rat-borne illness — is better known than SARS-CoV-2 was. But with reports that almost two dozen of the cruise ship passengers have returned home, many are worried there’s another pandemic on the horizon.

This writer’s older sons, who were 13 and ten during COVID, both expressed such concerns.

We’ll see what happens, but someone raised a very interesting connection. Two years ago, more than 300 vials containing deadly viruses went missing from an Australian lab.

Democrats Say ‘Heil Platner!’

With the recusal of ancient Governor Janet Mills—she was just too normal to compete in today’s slippery-slope-to-totalitarianism Donkey Party—Maine’s Democrats are about to nominate a guy who generates more punchlines than a Don Rickles roast. He’s really got it all. He’s stupid, offensive, a spoiled rich kid, a commie, and so much more. His schtick is that he’s just a working-class oysterman, a stubble-bearded blue-collar guy who’s going to give all those billionaires who are oppressing Mainers what for. But when anybody thinks of him, they’re thinking of him as Herr Oberstoysterfuhrer.

You know, the guy with the Nazi tattoo.

Let’s understand that it’s not just a Nazi tattoo. It’s a Nazi tattoo, squared. The swastika was not enough for this guy. He had to take it to the next level. He had to go get the Totenkopf, which is the symbol of the guys who ran the concentration camps, ground into his pecs. He didn’t just get a pin from one of their caps and keep it in a drawer. It’s not on a T-shirt. He lay back and endured considerable physical pain to have somebody etch it into his skin forever. And again, it’s not enough for him to be showing solidarity with the Nazis as he goose-steps across the stage. He’s got to show solidarity with the specific Nazis who specifically murdered the Jews specifically. But see, that’s on-brand, because he doesn’t like the Jews very much. And Jews, don’t you feel special, because he doesn’t seem to like anybody. Thank you, Internet, where nothing ever dies. That’s how we know how he feels about blacks, gays, Christians, women who say “No,”and Mainers. Summing it up, he’s not a fan.

But hey, maybe we’re being a little hard on him. To be sure, he’s got some excuses about why it’s not his fault that he was running around with a Nazi tattoo for most of his adult life. After all, who among us hasn’t spent a couple of decades with a symbol of genocidal mass murder imprinted just underneath his right nipple? Well, all of us, but let’s hear Himmler out. He claims he had no idea what it was. Sure, for decades he had no idea what the thing he paid money for some guy to grind into he flesh was. When he saw “Schindler’s List,” whose happy ending ruined it for him, he must have thought it looked cool and failed to connect the dots.

HUGE! WA State Abandoned Box of Election Materials – More Data Analysis Shows Amazing Find is Bigger than Expected

REVIEW: On April 16, 2026, WAGOP State Chairman and State Rep. Jim Walsh reported that a concerned citizen made a troubling discovery in February 2026: hundreds of undelivered WA State ballots sitting in a large box on the ground, next to a dumpster behind a strip mall in Renton, WA. According to Chair Walsh, the Good Samaritan knew they were important, put the box in his truck, called King County Elections, then called the WA Secretary of State’s office (SoS), but was given the runaround. He even tried calling his congressional representative with no luck. So, he contacted Chair Walsh and gave the box to WAGOP.

WHAT WE NOW KNOW:

  • USPS delivered election mail from several county elections offices and the WA Sec of State (SoS) over the 2020-25 election cycles, addressed to people who rented private mailboxes at a Commercial Mailbox Business at 330 SW 43rd St., Suite K, Renton, WA. The business was responsible for holding the mail in customers’ private mailboxes for them to pick up.
  • Much election mail went unclaimed between 2020–2025. Instead of being properly handled as undeliverable and sent back to USPS, a large box of election materials was abandoned next to a dumpster behind the strip mall where the business is located.
  • The new owner of the business told reporters they took over in Jan 2026 and were unaware of any leftover ballots, calling the situation “news to them.”

The WAGOP scanned and photocopied the contents of the box. They contacted law enforcement and the USPS and ensured the contents of the box were secure. It took USPS two days to come and pick up the box. The box and all its contents were then given to USPS inspectors who are conducting an investigation with Renton Police, King County officials, and possibly the FBI.

As Chair of the WAGOP Election Integrity Committee, I was notified of the findings immediately after Chair Walsh’s April 16 video. I then reached out to several election integrity specialists to assist in data analysis to further clarify, verify, document, and record the findings. Here are the most recent updates:

THE ELECTION-RELATED MATERIALS IN THE BOX INCLUDED:

  • 550 undelivered “Eligible But Unregistered” (EBU) voter registration postcards, addressed from the SoS to people not yet listed on the state’s voter roll. These are people who are NOT registered voters but appear to be eligible to register to vote (U.S. citizens, age 16+, state residents, etc.).
  • 360 undelivered ballot envelopes, sent from elections offices in King (334), Pierce (11), Snohomish (11), Thurston (2), Kitsap (1), and one from Imperial County, California.

DATA ANALYSIS FOR THE 360 UNDELIVERED BALLOT ENVELOPES:

  • 63 unique voters (2020 – 2025 election cycles). 58 are currently registered.
  • 6 people voted in different election cycles (using ballots not found in the box).
    • 4 voted in the 2024 general election.
    • 1 voted in the 2020 general election.
    • 1 voted in the 2022 general election.
    • No one voted in the 2023 or 2025 elections.

Of Note: Of the 63 voters, about 47 (75%) have traditional American/Northern European names, and about 16 (25%) have other foreign names (6 Hispanic, 6 Chinese/Central Asian, 4 Russian/Slavic).

Democrat Policies Ruin Everything

When I first moved to Baltimore after college, way back in 2001, I was pretty well stuck in the city and DC, as I lived near the train station in Baltimore and worked near it in DC and had no car. I walked to a small, local grocery store and could, on occasion, borrow a car from a friend for a trip to the suburbs to go to a Target or Best Buy on the weekend. It was like a field trip outside my cage.

One place to go was Towson, north of the city, and the Towson Town Center. It was a mall, but an “upscale” mall with higher-end stores and a classy feel to it and the immediate area. 

Well, times have changed and the Town Center is a shell of what it once was. Local media describe it this way: “Shoppers who once packed Towson Town Center say the mall has changed dramatically in recent years, with crime concerns and a growing number of vacant storefronts reshaping what was long one of the region’s premier shopping destinations.”

Liberal policies ruin everything.

I haven’t been to Towson for more than a decade, so I can’t personally attest to how bad it feels, but reports have the mall with a 26 percent vacancy rate, which will give the impression of a ghost town. There are few things more depressing and eerie than walking through an empty mall and the connected parking garage, so once the downward spiral starts, it is hard to stop.

Then, just a couple of weeks ago, Apple announced it would be closing its location in the mall and the local Democrats began to pay attention. A random clothing store or cell phone or jewelry kiosk closing is one thing, but Apple? That’s news.

Apple stores are very popular, but even a popular store can’t justify continued existence in a dying mall in a city being choked by liberal policies.

The Democrats, both in the U.S. House and Senate, from Maryland, are terrified to be seen (rightly) as the reason the Apple store is closing, so they sprang into action. Rather than addressing the overall state of taxes and crime – it’s amazing how people being robbed make others not want to go to where they are being robbed, and going soft on retail theft only encourages more retail theft and makes staying in business, frankly, stupid. Apple is not stupid.
