Canada Fast-Tracks Permanent Residency for 33,000 Rural Workers

Canada’s immigration department will accelerate permanent residence for up to 33,000 temporary foreign workers in smaller and rural communities, fast-tracking applications through a one-time initiative first flagged in last year’s federal budget.

Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab announced progress on the In-Canada Workers Initiative, which draws from existing application inventories rather than opening new intake. Eligible workers must have lived outside Canada’s major urban centres for at least two years and have applied for permanent residence through the Provincial Nominee Program, the Atlantic Immigration Program, community immigration pilots, caregiver pilots, or the AgriFood Pilot.

IRCC is targeting at least 20,000 approvals in 2026 and the remaining 13,000 in 2027. It says it is on track: 3,600 workers received permanent residence between January and February — 18% of the 2026 target — before the program was formally announced.

The initiative is part of Ottawa’s push to cut the temporary resident share to less than 5% of the total population by end of 2027, down from 6.8% in December 2025. The 33,000 target sits on top of IRCC’s existing annual PR admissions target — but with 1.49 million temporary workers in Canada as of February 2026, it covers roughly 1.3% of that population.

The Carney government inherited a system under significant strain. Under the Trudeau administration, temporary residents peaked at over 3 million by early 2025 — nearly 7% of the population — as immigration accounted for 98% of Canada’s total population growth in 2023. 

Housing prices, infrastructure pressure, and rising unemployment among young people and recent immigrants fuelled a public backlash. Trudeau himself acknowledged in October 2024 that the government “didn’t get the balance quite right,” announcing a 21% cut to permanent resident targets and, for the first time, controlled caps on temporary residents.

An illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic living in Paterson, New Jersey, has pleaded guilty in federal court after admitting to laundering money stolen from elderly Americans through a cruel and calculated “grandparent” fraud scheme, as reported by Townhall.

The case shines a harsh light on how criminals are exploiting both America’s generosity and its border failures to prey on the most vulnerable citizens.

Engels Guillermo Almengot Valerio, 26, entered his guilty plea before Senior U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer on May 4, 2026.

The plea marked the culmination of a federal investigation exposing a disturbing operation that specifically targeted senior citizens across the country, manipulating them into handing over their life savings under false pretenses.

According to court documents, Valerio was part of an elaborate scheme that originated from the Dominican Republic.

Scammers called elderly Americans, impersonating grandchildren or relatives in distress — claiming they had been in a car accident or arrested — and begged for money to cover legal fees or bail.

The call would then be handed off to someone pretending to be an attorney or bail bondsman, sealing the illusion.

Conservative Host SHOCKS “Muslims-Only” Waterpark Event Organizer After Exposing a Series of Humiliating Truths About Her “Job” to Her Face

A conservative activist who played a role in exposing a disgusting and racist “Muslim Only” celebration completely embarrassed the organizer of the event after exposing a series of embarrassing truths about her line of work.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a taxpayer-funded waterpark in a Texas city sparked online fury earlier this week after announcing it would openly discriminate against non-Muslims to celebrate an Islamic holiday.

Epic Waters in Grand Prairie released fliers for a June 1 event celebrating a major Muslim holiday called Eid al-Adha. The event was supposed to require a “modest dress code” and solely serve Halal-slaughtered meat.

Epic Waters, which was funded by an additional sales tax on Grand Prairie residents, would have essentially resembled a hard-core Islamist country rather than the great state of Texas.

The Blaze’s Sara Gonzales was extremely instrumental in exposing this disgusting religious discrimination to the rest of the country. The backlash soon became so severe that the event was cancelled.

On Thursday, Gonzales invited the organizer of the “Muslims Only” stunt, Dr. Aminah Knight, to her podcast to discuss how she felt about her little party getting canceled. But, unbeknownst to Knight, Gonzales had a major surprise up her sleeve.

Gonzales stunned Knight when she revealed that the bigot runs a daycare center called “Excellence Early Learning Center” in which the word “learning is spelled “learing.” Just like one of the Somali Daycare Centers in Minnesota!

Gonzales next asked if it was appropriate for her to teach kids when she can’t spell a basic word correctly.

Knight was left speechless and stunned when confronted about this, so Gonzales started mocking her. Then, she meekly said it was a typo.

Gonzales then informed Knight that her registration to run the business had been involuntarily terminated and asked how the daycare center was still operating.

Knight had no clue how to respond. She proceeded to complain that she had been brought on to answer questions about the cancellation of her event.

Gonzales informed that they had already discussed this and hoped Knight had learned a lesson about not discriminating based on religion.

Judge Rules Trump DOJ Can Retain 2020 Georgia Ballots Seized by FBI

A federal judge has ruled that the Department of Justice can keep possession of the 2020 election ballots seized earlier this year from Fulton County, Georgia, as part of an ongoing federal investigation into alleged irregularities surrounding that election.

This decision comes despite concerns raised about flaws in the process the FBI used to obtain its search warrant, as reported by Breitbart.

U.S. District Judge J.P. Boulee, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, issued a 68-page opinion explaining his decision.

He acknowledged that the FBI’s affidavit authorizing the search was not without “shortcomings,” but he stopped short of accusing the agency of acting in “callous disregard” of the county’s rights—a legal threshold that could have compelled him to return the original ballots.

“While the Affidavit was certainly far from perfect, this is not a situation where an officer left out all the facts that might undermine probable cause or where an officer intentionally lied,” Boulee wrote.

In other words, the judge found procedural errors but not enough evidence of misconduct or bad faith to nullify the FBI’s actions.

The ruling represents a notable moment in the ongoing push by federal authorities to investigate what they describe as “electoral improprieties” in the 2020 race.

Texas ‘Muslim Only’ Waterpark Organizer Runs a Misspelled “Learing Center” for Kids

Only in 2026 America could a taxpayer-funded waterpark become the backdrop for a “Muslim only” event that blew up so spectacularly it ended up scrapped by order of the Texas governor.

The mastermind behind the fiasco, Aminah Knight, is now under fresh scrutiny for running a child care center with a glaring typo in its name, the “Excellence Early Learing Center.”

The facility, located in the Fort Worth suburb of Hurst, proudly advertises itself online with that same misspelled banner, something most educators would rush to fix within moments.

Knight, who is listed as the owner, operator, and curriculum designer, boasts of academic credentials from both USC and Vanderbilt University. Yet, somehow, “learning” got lost along the way.

The daycare’s pitch includes buzzwords common in modern progressive education circles: “multiculturalism,” “small classroom sizes,” “healthy eating,” and a “loving environment that feels like home.”

Staff reportedly hold degrees from “their home countries” in fields ranging from biology to accounting.

The center seeks to project an image of inclusivity, except when the conversation turns to who’s welcome at the local waterpark.

Earlier this month, Knight’s separate group, DFW Epic Eid, made headlines after it rented out Epic Waters in Grand Prairie, an enormous $88 million facility funded by local taxpayers, for an Eid holiday celebration labeled “Muslim only.”

Ironic: Tennessee’s New “Racist” 9th District Will Likely Have Black Woman Replace a 76-Year-Old White Democrat

While Democrat activists occupied the Tennessee state Capitol yesterday after a vote to redraw the congressional maps following the historic Supreme Court decision in Louisanna v. Callais, a key point of irony stands out.

Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reported on the vote that sparked pandemonium on the floor of the capitol building yesterday, as a radicalized state representative belittled State Troopers maintaining order, calling him “BOY!” and “mother f*****”, while others burned Confederate flags in the halls of the building.  But one likely outcome of the redrawn map cannot be ignored:

The 9th District will now potentially see Rep. Steve Cohen, a white Democrat, likely replaced by Charlotte Bergmann, a black female Republican.

Bergmann has previously run against Cohen in several elections dating back to 2014; however, with the new map being implemented, she has a much higher likelihood of winning the district that had previously been drawn to comply with a now-unconstitutional Voting Rights Act provision.

Bergmann is facing two GOP opponents in the primary election on August 6.

The NAACP has already filed an emergency petition to attempt to block the redistricting in hopes of keeping the white man in his seat over a black woman.  What a script!

LUNAR ENCOUNTERS: Newly Released Documents Reveal Apollo Astronauts Saw UFOs From the Moon Surface

‘One step for man’, and unidentified flying objects above.

The first batch of the mega UFO documents released by the Donald J. Trump administration brings information about encounters witnessed by the Apollo astronauts.

When landing on the moon, the astronauts saw unidentified flying objects (UFOs) floating nearby on at least two separate missions.

The Telegraph reported:

“A photograph from the Apollo 17 mission in 1972, the last time humans set foot on the lunar surface, shows three mysterious dots in a triangular formation floating in the sky.

Another photograph taken from the surface of the moon during the Apollo 12 mission, in 1969, appeared to show a vertical blue hazy phenomenon passing by.”

The ‘never-before-seen’ documents represent an unprecedented level of transparency, according to the Pentagon.

“[The Pentagon] added that Donald Trump – whose department of justice was heavily criticized over its handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files – ‘is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, who can ultimately make up their own minds about the information contained in these files’.”

AOC’s Comments About Black Americans Reminds Us Why Nobody Should Take Progressives Seriously

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) made a series of silly comments during a Thursday appearance on comedian Ilana Glazer’s podcast.

But one of the most egregious statements she made came when she said black Americans created democracy.

“There are— there are very few, like, real archetypes of, in my opinion, truly what America is all about,” she said. “I think about the civil rights and voting rights movement and how Black Americans really created democracy in this country. That’s right. That’s exactly right. How they literally made something from nothing.”

AOC continued, touting the achievements of Native Americans and immigrants. “It is just beyond me. I think about how, like, Native people have survived and preserved and treasured their culture,” she said. “I think about— and I think many of us think about immigrants, which, if you aren’t from one of those first two populations, you are certainly from largely the third. And so many of us, like, have our story of our parents, our grandparents, our great-great-grandparents, and so on and so forth, and who, like, come and make something from nothing. And I think that’s a big part of also the most inspiring elements of what America is all about.”

Here’s a question: What do you get when you cross historical ignorance with virtue signaling? That’s right, folks, you get someone like AOC.

For starters, America is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. Our government has democratic elements in that we elect our leaders, but it’s not a direct democracy.

But that’s not the real issue here. The problem with AOC’s comments is that black people weren’t involved in the establishment of American “democracy.” However, they were involved in forcing the country to live up to the Democratic ideals it claimed to champion.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries learned the hard way that it’s a bad idea to shoot your mouth off before the process has concluded after Democrats suffered a devastating redistricting setback today.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Virginia Supreme Court has overturned the Democrat Party’s rigged gerrymandering referendum today in a 4-3 decision, ruling the entire sleazy process to sneak it onto the ballot was unconstitutional from the start.

This is the latest devastating blow to radical Democrats’ blatant attempt to rewrite Virginia’s congressional maps mid-decade and hand themselves a super-majority in the U.S. House by turning the state from a competitive 6-5 split into a laughably unfair 10 Democrats to 1 Republican slaughter.

Virginia voters previously approved the state legislature and Governor Abigail Spanberger’s wicked power grab in a narrow vote last month.

The day after the vote, Jeffries strutted to the podium to spike the football:

“Our message to Florida Republicans is ‘F around and find out,’ Jeffries gloated. “If they go down the road of a DeSantis dummymander, Florida Republicans are going to find themselves in the same situation as Texas Republicans!”

Another Activist Judge Issues Laughable Ruling About DOGE Grant Terminations

We’re getting tired of activist judges undermining the Trump administration and its work to control wasteful spending, end fraud, and right America’s fiscal ship. Countless judges have ruled against the Trump administration not because the administration is wrong, but because they don’t like the President and his policy choices, and another judge did that with a ruling against Elon Musk’s DOGE.

Here’s more:

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency “blatantly used” race, gender and other protected characteristics to execute the largest mass termination of federal grants in the history of the National Endowment for the Humanities, a federal judge ruled on Thursday. 

U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon declared the terminations unlawful, concluded that the DOGE staffers lacked the authority to make those decisions, and blocked the Trump administration from carrying out the grant terminations. 

“There can be no serious dispute that the review process implemented by DOGE did not conform to, or even resemble, NEH’s ordinary grant-review process,” Judge McMahon wrote.

So, awarding grants on the basis of certain characteristics is good. But ending discriminatory grants is bad. Got it.
