US Borrowing Money From China to Fund Ukraine: Sen. Rand Paul

The United States can’t afford to send money to Ukraine without borrowing from China and taking on more debt to finance its obligations, said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) in a May 18 interview on the Breitbart News Daily Podcast.

On May 16, a bipartisan majority of U.S. senators voted to advance a $40 billion Ukraine aid package over an earlier objection from Paul. The Senate is on track for final consideration of the bill sometime later this week and is expected to pass the legislation.

“I think it’s important to know that we don’t have any money to send. I mean, we have to borrow the money from China to send it to Ukraine,” Paul explained. “And I think most people kind of get that, and many Republicans will say that and understand it when it’s a new social program, but if it’s military aid to a country, they’re like, ‘Well, we can borrow that. That’s a justified borrowing.’”

Currently, the U.S. national debt is inching toward $30.5 trillion, with annual federal spending outpacing annual federal revenue by over $2 trillion. To continue to fund obligations appropriated by Congress, the United States has to take on debt, much of which is purchased by Chinese buyers.

Rand Paul: Time to ban feds from tracking Americans through their cellphone location data

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a fierce protector of freedom and privacy, says it is time to ban federal agencies from being able to track Americans’ behavior by buying their cell phone location data from commercial vendors.

“When the government is trying to snoop on your behavior, it’s wrong, and there should be laws against it,” Paul told the “Just the News, Not Noise” television show in an exclusive interview aired Wednesday night.

Paul’s comments came after newly released government documents revealed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tracked Americans’ compliance with pandemic lockdowns by buying and monitoring their cellphone geospatial data from commercial vendors.

Such data is collected on each American from apps they use on their smart phones and sold by third-party brokers unless a user explicitly opts out of such collection for each app. Increasingly, law enforcement and other government agencies have been acquiring the data for official work, though the CDC was the first publicly disclosed use to track private Americans’ health behavior.

The data also was bought and used by the election integrity group True the Vote to identify people suspected of illegally collecting ballots in the 2020 Georgia election, a revelation that has prompted a formal investigation by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

Rand Paul Warns Biden Is A “National Security Risk” Because He Is “In Cognitive Decline”

Following Joe Biden’s unscripted blurting out that Vladimir Putin ‘cannot remain in power’, and another bizarre appearance Monday where he appeared to rely on cue cards, Senator Rand Paul warned that it is becoming a “national security risk”.

Appearing on Fox News, Paul noted “A lot of times when you’re around somebody who’s in cognitive decline, you find yourself trying to help them with a sentence, trying to help them complete it… but we shouldn’t have to do that for the commander-in-chief.”

Paul continued, “And, it is actually a national security risk because he’s sending signals that no one in their right mind would want to send to Russia at this point. We aren’t trying to replace Putin in Russia. We aren’t trying to have regime change. We’re not sending troops into Ukraine, and we’re not going to respond in kind with chemical weapons.”

The Senator urged that Biden “lives in an alternate universe” where he blurts out whatever he pleases then claims then way it was perceived isn’t accurate.

“So I guess you’re supposed to look the other way. But even the left-wing media is noticing these gaffes,” Paul asserted.

“I do think that it is a real problem, and there’s a humorous angle to this. But it’s really not funny because we’re worried about what he’s saying, precipitating or escalating the conflict in Ukraine into a world war. That’s very serious,” Paul further emphasised.

Rand Paul Declares Fauci “A Menace” To Society

Senator Rand Paul declared Wednesday that Anthony Fauci is a “menace” to society and refuses to admit he was wrong on almost every front concerning the pandemic because he’s still obsessed with controlling people.

Appearing on Fox News, Paul stated “The thing is if you believe in Dr. Fauci, what you should do immediately is go get stickers and make sure they are on the floor, and a yardstick so you know you are 6 feet away from people.”

“And Plexiglas,” Paul added, “carry Plexiglas around with you because Dr. Fauci thinks it somehow, you know, reflects the virus away from you.”

“None of what he has been for has worked,” Paul asserted regarding COVID restrictions.

The Senator further urged, “the interesting thing is – and he won’t admit this to the public – if you take a sample of blood from 1,000 people in the United States, and you measure to see if they had antibodies to the virus or antibodies to the vaccine, it’s over 95%. That’s why we are doing better with this.”

“The virus has mutated to a less virulent or less deadly form. But he won’t admit it because he’s so caught up in putting stickers on your floor, putting masks on your face, putting goggles on you,” Paul continued.

“The guy is a menace, and he has not been right really about anything since the start of this,” Paul urged.

Rand Paul Announces ‘Festivus Report’ Found $52,598,515,585 In Government Waste

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul issued Wednesday his “Festivus Report,” uncovering over $52 billion in government waste.

The report prepared by Paul, who is chairman of the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Spending Oversight, divided the government’s “wasteful spending” in 2021 into subcategories, which included COVID-19 expenditures, Afghanistan and other miscellaneous spending.

The COVID-19 spending detailed in Paul’s report included $4.29 billion in loans that went to people who did not qualify to receive them under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), $36 billion in unemployment insurance that was “paid improperly, with a significant portion attributable to fraud,” and $1.27 million in funds that that Baltimore City Public Schools received for students who weren’t even enrolled.

Rand Paul Warns COVID Mandates Are “About Conditioning The American Individual To Submit To Government”

Senator Rand Paul has warned that as long as Americans continue to submit to government on coronavirus restrictions, the mandates and further erosions of freedom will never end.

Speaking with Dan Bongino, Paul responded to comments made last week by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer who compared “anti-vaxxers here in this chamber” to “flat earthers” from 400 years ago.

Paul noted that “Schumer left out one thing, when they were denying that the Earth went around the sun. It was the government denying that and it was an independent scientist trying to set them straight.”

Paul further explained “the danger is when you let science be controlled by government, or by one sort of monolithic individual like Fauci, it really doesn’t have anything to do with science. Science usually discovers the truth eventually. But when science is dictated by the government, that’s when you get, you know, Flat Earthers.”

Paul continued, “I don’t think it’s been about science for a long time,” adding “It’s really the about conditioning the American individual to submit to government. And you’re right, it never ends, the goalposts will continue to change. And ultimately, more and more of your healthcare will be controlled.”

You know, under socialized medicine, when we centralize all controls, most of these decisions are made by government bureaucrats like Fauci,” the Senator further urged.

The Senator also painted a grim picture of where this could all be heading, stating “If you love the dictates on vaccines, you’ll love it when Fauci is in charge of who can be dialyzed.”

Senate Skeptics Are Right: End Missile Sales To Saudi Arabia

In response to the proposed sale of U.S. missiles to Saudi Arabia, Senators Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders are leading a bipartisan effort to oppose the sale. This is still a fight of David and Goliath, as Congress has never successfully stopped an arms sale. It’s time for that to change.

While President Biden has pledged to end support for “offensive operations,” U.S. support for Saudi Arabia has continued under the guise of defense. There have been advances, namely a halt on new SDB smart-bomb sales. But the U.S. has relabeled, not halted, the support, which could end Saudi involvement in the Yemeni war altogether. The U.S. continues logistical support for Saudi warplanes and helicopters, the chief means through which the Saudis conduct their offensives.

Saudi Arabia’s territorial integrity isn’t threatened. The country is actively engaged in an offensive war of its own choosing, and the U.S. tipping the scales in Saudi Arabia’s favor just perpetuates that war. U.S. neutrality, by contrast, would bring Yemen closer to a negotiated peace. As Saudi Arabia has been forced to deal with diminished U.S. support since April, it has begun brandishing diplomacy instead of bombs.

Paul, Cruz Call Fauci ‘Dangerous’ After Doctor Claims ‘I Represent Science’

Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) are saying Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top medical adviser to President Joe Biden, has become dangerous with his pronunciations after he claimed to “represent science.”

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation” over the weekend, Fauci said that Republican senators who have criticized him are in the wrong.

“That’s OK. I’m just going to do my job. And I’m going to be saving lives, and they’re going to be lying,” Fauci said.

“They’re really criticizing science, because I represent science. That’s dangerous. To me, that’s more dangerous than the slings and the arrows that get thrown at me. And if you damage science, you are doing something very detrimental to society long after I leave,” he added later.

Fauci also specifically went after Paul, lumping him with others he said “spins lies and threatens and all that theater,” and also suggested Cruz should be probed for objecting to electoral results from a state on Jan. 6.

Rand Paul’s Warning to Americans: ‘Be Afraid of Your Government’

In the wake of Attorney General Merrick Garland’s announcement that he plans to sic the FBI on concerned parents who speak out at school board meetings against critical race theory and COVID restrictions, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) blasted the Biden administration and said Americans should “be afraid of your government.”

“Moms at school boards are being told that they’re criminals, potential domestic terrorists, for the crime of dissent, and I think criminalizing dissent is something that we should all be appalled with,” Paul told Fox News.

Garland claimed that there has been a “disturbing trend” of teachers being threatened or harassed. PJ Media’s Megan Fox looked into these allegations and concluded they’re mostly bunk.

When asked what he would tell Americans concerned that they’ll end up on some government list if they “say the wrong thing” at their local school board meeting, Paul didn’t mince words.

“I would say be afraid. Be afraid of your government,” he responded. “That’s a sad thing from someone in the government to say, but the thing is, is those lists already exist.”

“I think the problem is, it’s become so normalized to use government to search out and seek out your opponents,” Paul continued, before citing the abuse of FISA warrants to illegally spy on the Trump campaign as an example.

“If you go to a school board meeting and you’re disruptive and you don’t obey the rules of the school board meeting, then there will be local punishment,” Paul said. “But that has nothing to do with the federal law, it has nothing to do with the Department of Justice. What Merrick Garland did is, he’s attempting to stifle dissent, and he’s attempting to say, ‘Beware, or Big Brother’s coming after you if you speak out against my policies or against the Biden policies.’”

Rand Paul Blasts “Lying” Fauci; ‘He Ignores Natural Immunity Because It Foils His Mass Vaccination Plan’

Senator Rand Paul charged that NIAID director Anthony Fauci is purposefully acting ignorant on the benefits of natural immunity to COVID because it would ‘foil his mass vaccination plan,’ further describing the notion that everyone needs to be vaccinated as “nonsense.”

“Hey, this guy has an opinion on baseball, hockey, Tinder, and Christmas, but he was asked the other day about natural immunity that you acquire after the disease, he is like, ‘Oh, that is really interesting thought, I never thought about that. I don’t have an opinion because I haven’t thought about naturally acquired immunity,’” Paul said during a Fox Business News interview, adding, “He has and he is lying to you.”

Paul continued, “The reason he won’t bring up natural immunity is because it foils his plans to get everybody possible vaccinated.”

“He thinks it might slow down vaccination. And I’m for people getting vaccinated particularly people at risk, but the thing is, if you ignore naturally acquired immunity then you’re saying we don’t have enough people, you have to force it on younger people,” the Senator further urged.

“There was a statistic that came out that somebody put together today. If you’re 85, your chances of dying are 10,000 times greater than if you’re 10. Should we treat a 10-year-old the same we treat an 85-year-old? It is nonsense,” Paul reasoned.
