First openly trans US lawmaker directed partner on how to abuse tots — before asking if pair could still go to heaven

The country’s first openly trans lawmaker directed his partner on how to abuse children as young as 3 at a Massachusetts daycare, before asking her if the evil pair would still go to heaven.

Twisted New Hampshire ex-pol Stacie-Marie Laughton, born Barry Laughton, 41, pleaded guilty in the heinous case last week and faces up to 30 years in prison on federal child pornography convictions after exchanging despicable images with his partner, 40-year-old Lindsay Groves.

In sickening text message exchanges laid out in court documents, the pair discuss in detail their perverted fantasies, as Laughton, a former state legislator, egged on his partner to abuse the children in her care.

Groves sent at least four explicit pictures of children between the ages of 3 and 5 to Laughton, all taken at the Creative Minds daycare in Tyngsborough, Mass., where she worked between May 2022 and June 2023.

In between lurid instructions to his then-partner on how to abuse the children, Laughton expressed his fears that the pair would be arrested for their heinous acts.

Former Transgender New Hampshire State Rep. Pleads Guilty in Connection to Child Sex Crimes

A former transgender New Hampshire state legislator pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children this week.

Stacie Laughton (biological male), a Democrat who was elected to the New Hampshire House three times and resigned twice over legal problems, is facing up to 30 years in prison in connection to child sex crimes.

In 2023, Laughton, 41, of Nashua, New Hampshire, and his former intimate partner and daycare worker, Lindsay Groves, were charged with child exploitation.

Groves admitted to taking sexually explicit photos of children at the daycare center and sending them to Laughton.

Laughton was charged with one count of sexual exploitation of children – and aiding and abetting, according to the DOJ.

“According to the charging documents, a preliminary forensic review of Groves’ cellphone allegedly revealed over 10,000 text messages between Laughton and Groves that included discussion about, and transfer of, explicit photographs that Groves had taken of children while employed at Creative Minds daycare – including at least four sexually explicit images of children who appear to be approximately three to five years old, as well as explicit descriptions of sex with each other and others, including children,” the DOJ said.

Groves was charged with one count of sexual exploitation of children and one count of distribution of child pornography.

“The charge of sexual exploitation of children provides for a sentence of at least 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case,” the DOJ said.

New Hampshire Man LOSES Right to Vote After Pleading Guilty to Repeatedly Stealing and Damaging Trump Yard Signs

A New Hampshire man has lost his right to vote after repeatedly vandalizing and stealing Trump campaign signs from his neighbor’s property, another glaring example of left-wing intolerance toward free speech and political expression.

According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Nick Moorhead, 55, of Northfield, pleaded guilty in Franklin District Court to “unlawfully removing political signs.”

Moorhead admitted to targeting a local resident’s Trump sign multiple times, an act that clearly wasn’t a one-off impulse but a pattern of politically motivated harassment, Boston 25 News.

Court documents reveal that Moorhead was caught on camera on August 27 and 28, 2024, removing the Trump sign from the homeowner’s yard and damaging it.

The homeowner, tired of the repeated vandalism, moved the sign closer to the house, only for Moorhead to return on September 15, kick the sign, and flip off one of the residents in a brazen act of hostility.

Police arrested Moorhead on October 19, 2024, following an investigation.

The court fined him $310, a $250 fine plus a $60 penalty assessment.

However, the most striking consequence came under the New Hampshire Constitution, which stripped convicted individuals of their right to vote unless the state Supreme Court restored it.

For a man so eager to silence others’ political voices, that’s poetic justice.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office reminded the public that anyone who believes political signs have been unlawfully removed should report it immediately to local law enforcement or the Election Law Unit.

Another Leftist Shooter Attacks Country Club Wedding In New Hampshire

America is suffering from leftist fatigue. Three left wing shooters in the span of a week, from the murder of Charlie Kirk to an attack on an ABC affiliate station in Sacramento to the most recent event – A shooting at a country club wedding in Nashua, New Hampshire.

This is, of course, not counting the transgender killer who murdered 2 children and wounded 18 others at a catholic school in Minneapolis the week before the Charlie Kirk assassination.  In every case there has been clear intent of politically motivated violence.  Democrats and woke activists continue to deny they have any culpability, but after a decade of demonizing everyone who disagrees with them as “fascists and Nazis”, isn’t this the end result they always wanted?

The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder.  Witnesses heard the man scream “The children are safe, free Palestine!” as he started shooting, killing one person and wounding two others before he was hit in the head with a chair by a female party member and ran away with his head bleeding.

Man Arrested for Allegedly Plotting to Murder Republican New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte With Pipe Bombs

A 22 year-old man was arrested this week for allegedly plotting to kill New Hampshire’s Republican Governor Kelly Ayotte with pipe bombs.

The suspect, who is apparently not very smart, shared his plans with people on the internet and even with his female roommate, who spoke to police, telling them that he showed her the materials he planned to use for the explosive device or devices.

It’s amazing that this transpired just a week after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. It shows that there are many people on the left who have no intention of slowing down the political violence.

Townhall reports:

New Hampshire Gov. Ayotte Targeted in Alleged Pipe Bomb Plot by 22-Year-Old

A 22-year-old has been arrested after he allegedly threatened to murder New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte using homemade pipe bombs.

Independent reporter Breanna Morello posted on X: “Investigators say Tristan Anderson boasted about his plans to his roommate on Snapchat, displaying the materials he planned to use.

Anderson allegedly posted anti-Semitic messages about an “Israel Deep State” before targeting Catholic Governor Kelly Ayotte with threats.

His social media included violent posts, like threatening to “kill” New Hampshire committee members he believed misrepresented residents.

His roommate reported to police that Anderson owned guns and showed her fireworks, metal tubes, and bags of nuts and bolts, which he allegedly planned to use to make pipe bombs.

Anderson allegedly texted a threat, media reported.

“I’m going to target the NH Mayor Kelly ayott,” the message reads. “With my weapon of mass destruction.”

This person has now ruined his life. Was it worth it?

Court Ruling on TikTok Opens Door to Platform “Safety” Regulation

A New Hampshire court’s decision to allow most of the state’s lawsuit against TikTok to proceed is now raising fresh concerns for those who see growing legal pressure on platforms as a gateway to government-driven interference.

The case, brought under the pretext of safeguarding children’s mental health, could pave the way for aggressive regulation of platform design and algorithmic structures in the name of safety, with implications for free expression online.

Judge John Kissinger of the Merrimack County Superior Court rejected TikTok’s attempt to dismiss the majority of the claims.

We obtained a copy of the opinion for you here.

While one count involving geographic misrepresentation was removed, the ruling upheld core arguments that focus on the platform’s design and its alleged impact on youth mental health.

The court ruled that TikTok is not entitled to protections under the First Amendment or Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act for those claims.

“The State’s claims are based on the App’s alleged defective and dangerous features, not the information contained therein,” Kissinger wrote. “Accordingly, the State’s product liability claim is based on the harm caused by the product: TikTok itself.”

This ruling rests on the idea that TikTok’s recommendation engines, user interface, and behavioral prompts function not as speech but as product features.

As a result, the lawsuit can proceed under a theory of product liability, potentially allowing the government to compel platforms to alter their design choices based on perceived risks.

Judge Rules in Favor of New Hampshire Bakery in Fight Over Donut Mural

A New Hampshire bakery has won a crucial victory in its fight to preserve a mural of donuts and other baked goods above its storefront. While town officials have attempted to force the bakery to remove the mural, citing zoning regulations, a federal court ruled on Monday that the city cannot enforce its sign rules against the bakery.

In 2022, Sean Young, the owner of Leavitt’s Country Bakery, a popular bakery in Conway, New Hampshire, collaborated with a local high school art class to paint a mural for the bakery’s storefront. The students’ mural depicted baked goods forming the shape of a mountain range, with a multicolored sunrise in the background. Initially, the mural didn’t cause any controversy—and it was even covered positively by local media. However, about a week after being installed, Conway’s Code Enforcement Officer Jeremy Gibbs told Young that the mural violated town zoning rules.

According to the town, the mural violated local laws that regulate signs. Because the mural depicted baked goods—which the bakery obviously sells—it was deemed a “sign,” not a mural, and signs are subject to rules limiting their size. While the town’s rules define a sign incredibly broadly, in practice, the town only enforces its sign regulations on speech it perceives as commercial in nature. If Leavitt’s Country Bakery had erected a mural of just a sunrise, for example, the town would have no problem with it, even though the rules on the books would apply to both. “Imposing different burdens on speech depending on who is speaking and what is being said is content based and speaker based restriction on free speech,” reads a 2023 complaint from the Institute for Justice, a public interest law group, which represented the bakery in its lawsuit against Conway.

On Monday, a judge agreed. While the judge noted that the town’s sign rules, as written, don’t necessarily violate the Constitution, the selective nature of the town’s enforcement does. “The court rules only that Conway’s application of its sign code, and specifically its enforcement of the sign code to the Leavitt’s sign in the particular manner it employed in this case, does not withstand any level of constitutional scrutiny,” reads a ruling from District Judge Joseph N. Laplante enjoining the town from forcing Young to remove the mural. “Although the display may have violated the sign code because of its size, Gibbs’ determination was based on a rationale with no textual basis in the sign code, which does not distinguish between displays based on content.”

Trans-identified male charged in fatal stabbing of wife in New Hampshire

New Hampshire woman Margaret Jasmin was stabbed to death on May 18 and her partner, Reya Jasmin, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Jasmin is a male who identifies as transgender who was found at the scene by police and was also injured.

A child was also at Plaistow, NH home, and was uninjured and has been removed. The child is believed to be 9 years old and the son of the Margaret and Reya Jasmin. Reya Jasmin, formerly David Mark Jasmin, began the gender change process in 2017, starting hormones in 2018. Margaret also started to transition after her husband did.

Documents from the New Hampshire Department of Justice refer to Reya Jasmin as a woman, saying “an arrest warrant was issued for Reya Jasmin charging her with one count of Second-Degree Murder.” Reya Jasmin has been accused of having recklessly caused the death of wife Margaret.

Many news outlets, from NBC Boston, Hoodline, WGME 13, News 7, Derry News, and others called Reya Jasmin a woman, despite the murder being an instance of a male partner allegedly killing his wife. The Maine Wire noted that the original press release from the NH DOJ correctly identified Reya Jasmin as a man before adjusting their language to reflect Jasmin’s preferred pronouns and gender identity. The Maine Wire reported that the murder was an “apparent murder-suicide attempt.”

The New Hampshire Senate Has Rejected Every Marijuana Bill Passed By The House This Session

The New Hampshire Senate on Thursday moved to scuttle two marijuana measures already passed by the House, including a proposal to allow medical cannabis businesses to cultivate in greenhouses and a separate bill to expand the state’s annulment process for past arrest and conviction records.

Senators also voted to delay consideration until next month of a separate bill that would decriminalize small amounts of psilocybin.

The actions reflect the chamber’s broad hostility toward drug reform measures this session. While a number of bills cleared the House of Representatives—including to legalize adult-use marijuana and allow medical marijuana patients to grow cannabis at home—nearly all have gone on to die in the Senate.

“These outcomes are disappointing, but unfortunately, they aren’t surprising,” Matt Simon, director of public and government relations at the medical marijuana provider GraniteLeaf Cannabis, told Marijuana Moment.

Earlier this year, Simon said it appeared “that a few senators just want to kill every bill that deals with cannabis policy, no matter how modest and non-controversial.”

All told, senators have now moved to table or kill eight House-passed measures related to marijuana this session.

One of the bills taken up at Thursday’s Senate floor session—HB 301, from Rep. Suzanne Vail (D)—would have allowed medical marijuana operators (known in the state as alternative treatment centers, or ATCs) to each establish a single additional cultivation location, including in a greenhouse.

Under current law, all growing by ATCs must happen indoors, with greenhouse cultivation prohibited.

Though House lawmakers passed the bill in February, a Senate committee earlier this month marked the proposal “inexpedient to legislate,” effectively recommending it be abandoned. On Thursday, senators voted to table it.

Simon noted that in New Hampshire, there’s strong support for broader legalization of marijuana, “so it’s hard to understand why letting ATCs grow in secure greenhouses is even remotely controversial.”

Republican Governor Kelly Ayotte Signs Bill Banning Sanctuary Cities in the State of New Hampshire

New Hampshire’s Republican Governor Kelly Ayotte has signed a bill that bans so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ in the Granite State, in direct contrast to her neighbors to the south in Massachusetts, and to the east in Maine.

All of New England is fairly liberal, but New Hampshire has a reputation for maybe not being conservative but definitely having a libertarian streak.

Ayotte actually ran on the sentiment embodied in this new law.

NBC News in Boston reported:

House Bill 511 and Senate Bill 62 ban sanctuary cities and support cooperation between state and local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities.

During her campaign for governor last year, Ayotte used a “Don’t Mass it up” slogan to rail against more liberal Massachusetts to the south, including a pledge to ban sanctuary cities, which limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

Ayotte’s office put out this press release:

Sanctuary Cities Banned in New Hampshire

Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte signed House Bill 511 and Senate Bill 62 to ban sanctuary cities and support cooperation between state and local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities.

Governor Ayotte released the following statement after signing both bills into law:

“I said from the beginning that we won’t let our state go the way of Massachusetts and their billion-dollar illegal immigrant crisis. Today, we’re delivering on our promise by banning sanctuary cities and supporting law enforcement cooperation with federal immigration authorities. New Hampshire will never be a sanctuary for criminals, and we will keep working every day to remain the safest state in the nation.”

This was a smart move.
