Republicans Introduce Bill to Defund ‘Liberal Propaganda’ National Public Radio

Conservatives have wanted to yank taxpayer funding for National Public Radio for years. Could it finally happen?

Two Republicans, one in the Senate and one in the House, have introduced a new bill that would accomplish this task, and in our current environment of cutting waste, fraud, and abuse, the time is right to strike.

Even liberal law professor Jonathan Turley recently said it was time to end NPR’s taxpayer funded gravy train.

The GOP needs to get this done.

Exclusive – Sen. Jim Banks, Rep. Kat Cammack Introduce Bill To Defund ‘Liberal Propaganda’ NPR

Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) and Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) believe American taxpayers shouldn’t be keeping National Public Radio (NPR) afloat.

The pair are introducing legislation in their respective chambers to put an end to taxpayer subsidizing of the notoriously left-leaning media outlet, Breitbart News learned exclusively Wednesday.

“Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to fund NPR’s liberal propaganda,” Banks told Breitbart News. “If NPR can’t stay afloat without government funding, that tells you all you need to know about the quality of their news.”

Banks’ Defund NPR Act would prohibit federal funding for National Public Radio by amending section 396 of the Communications Act so that no funds may, directly or indirectly, be made available to or used to support the National Public Radio, including through the payment of dues to or the purchase of programming from the organization.

Conservatives should not be forced to fund a news organization that does nothing but attack conservatives.

Crenshaw Facing Ethics Complaint After Threatening To Kill Tucker Carlson

James Copenhaver, a former undercover narcotics detective who spent years coordinating and liaising with numerous federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and served on the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, has filed an official ethics complaint against Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw, following him being caught on a hot mic saying he’d “fucking kill” journalist Tucker Carlson.

“On February 24, 2025, during an exchange with a British journalist, Representative Dan Crenshaw was caught on a hot mic making a violent and threatening remark about former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, stating, “If I ever meet him, I’ll fucking kill him.”

This shocking statement, made in an unguarded moment following an interview with GB News, is not only unbecoming of a sitting member of Congress but may also constitute a violation of House rules regarding conduct and threats of violence.

This incident is not an isolated lapse in judgment but part of a pattern of unethical behavior that raises significant concerns about Rep. Crenshaw’s ability to uphold the integrity of the House,” reads the introduction of Copenhaver’s complaint that was filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics earlier today.

Copenhaver, a decorated former undercover DEA agent and member of the FBI’s violent Crime Task Force, made sure to list another five disciplinary offenses by Crenshaw, ranging from failing to disclose stock trades and campaign finance violations.

The liberal establishment is finally criticizing ethnic cleansing in Gaza now that they can blame Trump

A week after the long-awaited ceasefire between Hamas and Israel brought a rare moment of quiet skies for Palestinians, President Donald Trump announced his plan to “clean out” Gaza, proposing to relocate its remaining population to neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt. He has since reiterated this stance, claiming that the U.S. aims to “take over” Gaza, in order to rebuild and develop the area into a “riviera of the Middle East”. Is it, one may ask, truly a Trump presidency without the permanent furrowing of one’s brow?

Palestinians were quick to react to Trump: while some do have fears about the uncertainty of their safety and future in the shadow of 15 months of non-stop bombardment that left the strip decimated of both human life and infrastructure, many others expressed their steadfast resolve to remain.

“We will remain here – staying above the rubble, stones and iron. We will remain in our homeland, in Gaza”, said Manar Hamo of the Bureij camp.

But some of the most fervent pushback to Trump’s plan to takeover Gaza has come from the very same people, institutions, and newsrooms that spent fifteen months either remaining quiet on the extermination of Palestinians or supporting and building the case for it to continue. What we find is that there is a manufacturing of a moral hysteria around Trump’s proposal that seeks to – either intentionally or by way of liberal anti-Trump muscle memory – erase the direct culpability of the Biden-Harris administration and the Democrats in the genocide of Palestinians.

And so we have been ambushed by their discovery of the words “war crime”, “ethnic cleansing”, “dastardly deed” and “morally indefensible”. Even The New York Times’ made the very novel discovery of what international law may have to say about forced displacement. What we are seeing, again and again, is the introduction of language that not only offers the criminality of a Trump administration policy that has yet to be put in place but also explicitly moralizes about violence against Palestinians, a moralizing that was markedly absent as U.S-funded and made bombs were ripping apart Palestinian families for fifteen months straight.

Oops! I Think the NYT Just Said the Quiet Part About Deportation Out Loud

Tell me you’re out of touch without telling me you’re out of touch. 

I wasn’t planning on writing anything today as I’m knee-deep in a house cleaning project, but I took a little break to peruse the news and saw an article in the New York Times that had me wondering if I’d accidentally stumbled upon a satire site like the Babylon Bee. It was about how deporting illegal migrants would have a negative impact on the wealthy people who have homes in the Hamptons. You know, the real victims in all of this.  

The article is entitled “They Help Make the Hamptons the Hamptons, and Now They’re Living in Fear.” The subtitle reads “Latino immigrants care for some of America’s most lavish beachside mansions. Their disappearance would affect the wealthy, too.” But wait, it gets better. The article begins: 

The party dresses must be double-pressed, the hedges shaved into sharp rectangles. The hand soap and lotion dispensers must be formed into neat lines along bathroom sinks. Caterers need to slip out of view as soon as the oysters and cocktails are served.

Wealthy residents of the Hamptons demand perfection. Now, many of the people who make it so — Latino immigrants, some of them undocumented — are panicking about President Trump’s deportation orders.

It goes on with great quotes like this one: “Some of the wealthy are quietly beginning to make calculations about what it would mean if their undocumented workers were deported. Who would mow the lawn?”

Or this one from Marit Molan, director of Hamptons Community Outreach: “Everyone relies on housekeepers and carpenters and tree cutters and grass cutters. People come to the Hamptons to enjoy their houses, and who is going to take care of their houses?”

WOW: CNN Hack Michael Smerconish Melts Down After Getting Schooled by DOGE Dividend Creator James Fishback — Threatens to Cut His Mic and Calls ‘Time’ After Losing Debate

Another day, another embarrassing meltdown from the legacy media.

CNN’s resident fake news peddler, Michael Smerconish, couldn’t handle the cold, hard truth about government waste and taxpayer rip-offs.

During an interview with DOGE Dividend original creator James Fishback, a Trump-aligned entrepreneur and CEO of Azoria, Smerconish fumed and ultimately threatened to cut the mic when his leftist talking points crumbled under the weight of FACTS.

The DOGE Dividend, a bold new initiative supported by President Trump and spearheaded by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), aims to return taxpayer savings back to hardworking Americans.

The plan proposes that 20% of the money saved through cutting government waste would be refunded directly to taxpayers, while another 20% would go toward paying down the national debt. But for some reason, this common-sense approach sent Smerconish into a full-blown meltdown.

Former CNBC Analyst To Admit Conning Investors Out Of Nearly $3 Million

Former CNBC financial analyst James Arthur McDonald faces decades behind bars after defrauding investors out of at least $2.7 million, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Feb. 19.

McDonald, 53, a former resident of Arcadia, Calif., agreed to plead guilty to one count of securities fraud, a felony that carries a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.

“This defendant was entrusted by his clients to care for their money and he violated that trust by using it to enrich himself,” said acting U.S. Attorney Joseph McNally.

In June 2024, federal officers arrested McDonald in Washington state, where he fled in 2021 to avoid appearing before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

At his Washington hideout, officers found a fake Washington, D.C., driver’s license bearing McDonald’s photograph and the name “Brian Thomas,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles.

McDonald was the CEO and chief investment officer of two companies headquartered in Los Angeles—Hercules Investments LLC and Index Strategy Advisors Inc. He also often appeared on the CNBC financial news network.

“Journalist” Susan Glasser Tries to Play Race Card Against President Trump But Forgets One Key Fact

The New Yorker’s Susan Glasser tried to play the race card over President Donald Trump’s firing of Air Force General CQ Brown Jr. as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Brown’s ouster on Friday.

In a post on X, Glasser floated the idea, via a quote without attribution, that claimed Brown was fired because he is Black.

Glasser conveniently failed to acknowledge that Brown was nominated by him for Chief of Staff of the Air Force during his first term.

Users on X were quick to point out Glasser’s embarrassing omission.

Senator John Kennedy Blasts Continued Funding of “Public” Media NPR and PBS: “Gravy Train with Biscuit Wheels”

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) had harsh criticism for taxpayers funding “public” leftist propaganda outlets such as National Public Radio, the Corporation Public Broadcasting, and the Public Broadcasting System.

Kennedy called the scheme more just a “gravy train” but a “gravy train with biscuit wheels.”

In November, video footage of NPR CEO Katherine Maher from an August 2021 Ted Talk reappeared on X, sparking new debate over the taxpayer-funded broadcaster’s alleged bias.

In the 10-second clip, Maher questioned the role truth plays in the industry as the then-CEO of Wikimedia. She took over as CEO of NPR in March 2024.

Maher told the crowd, “I think our reverence for the truth might have become a bit of a distraction that is preventing us from finding consensus and getting important things done.”

Elon Musk weighed in on the video asking if taxpayer funds should be used for an organization headed by someone who thinks the truth is a “distraction.”

DOGE vs Corrupt Media

Well, the country is still divided, with the Democrats screaming about DOGE. I would love to see Chuck Shummer in handcuffs and sent to Riker’s Island, where he belongs.  All we hear is how evil Musk is, and that he is UNELECTED. I do not recall ever voting for the head of any agency. They are their own independent auditors. If you go to a bank and want to borrow money for your business, you cannot say here is my audit of myself.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) refused to indict Lois Lerner, who was the IRS former executive who was at the heart of a scandal involving the deliberate targeting of political opponents of the Obama administration. The IRS had to apologize for letting the Obama Administration target conservatives publicly. I do not recall that Lerner was ever on any ballot asking for my vote.  The DOJ waited for almost two years to go by to dispose of this case quietly, even after Lerner herself apologized for targeting Tea Party groups attempting to qualify for tax-exempt status.

This is what the Democrats are protecting. I was told by a former Executive VP of a major NY Newspaper that the government intimidates journalists into killing stories or twisting them to the government’s favor, threatening endless IRS audits. These Democrats have the audacity to object to Musk when they have abused the power of every agency they can.

NBC News Settles $30M ‘Mass Hysterectomy’ Defamation Suit Against MSNBC Stars

Far-left NBC News has settled a $30 million defamation case filed after its MSNBC all-star team falsely accused a doctor of performing “mass hysterectomies” at a Georgia immigration detention center.

Back in June, Judge Lisa Godbey Wood ruled that Dr. Mahendra Amin’s defamation suit against NBCUniversal could proceed to trial. Judge Wood wrote that:

Multiple statements are verifiably false. The undisputed evidence has established that: (1) there were no mass hysterectomies or high numbers of hysterectomies at the facility; (2) Dr. Amin performed only two hysterectomies on female detainees from the ICDC; and (3) Dr. Amin is not a “uterus collector.” The Court must look to each of the statements in the context of the entire broadcast or social media post to assess the construction placed upon it by the average viewer. Doing so, the undisputed evidence establishes that multiple NBC statements are false.

Viewed in their entirety, the September 15, 2020 episodes of Deadline: White House, All In With Chris Hayes, and The Rachel Maddow Show accuse Plaintiff of performing mass hysterectomies on detainee women. It does not matter that NBC did not make these accusations directly, but only republished the whistleblower letter’s allegations. If accusations against a plaintiff are “based entirely on hearsay,” “[t]he fact that the charges made were based upon hearsay in no manner relieves the defendant of liability.

So, we are talking about Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, Nicolle Wallace; not to mention the layers and layers of legendary fact-checkers that the capital “J” journalists at NBC News employ.

Look at the date, y’all: September 15, 2020… This lie was fabricated out of whole cloth by NBC News to interfere in a presidential election that was only weeks away. Early voting had already begun in a number of swing states. This shit network knew exactly what it was doing.
