A federal judge on Wednesday rejected a Christian college’s request to halt the Biden administration’s directive on gender identity in dwellings.
The College of the Ozarks, a Christian college in Missouri, had argued the government order, which claims to fight discrimination against transgender people, impinges on the rights of Christians and violates Biblical beliefs.
The dispute sets up a new legal battle over religious liberty and gender identity.
Judge Roseann Ketchmark, an Obama appointee, heard oral arguments from both sides for more than two hours Wednesday. After the hearing, she announced she would deny the college’s request to issue an injunction against the rule, which requires that segregated facilities such as dorms and restrooms be based on a person’s gender identity.
“After careful consideration of the law … the court denies the plaintiff’s motion for temporary restraining order and injunction,” she said from the bench. “The court does find that the dispute is not justiciable.”
The judge plans to issue a written order as soon as possible, she said.
Valorie Coleman, a spokesperson from the college, said the school will appeal.
Taxpayers are funding a NYC PBS show where a drag queen named “Little Miss Hot Mess” teaches “drag queens in training,” also known as children, how to shake their butts.
The program, “Let’s Learn,” is a collaboration between PBS and The New York City Department of Education aimed at children ages 3-8.
The episode “The Hips On the Drag Queen Go Swish Swish Swish” first aired March 31.
Little Miss Hot Mess, who is allegedly a founding member of Drag Queen Story Hour, is the author of the book “The Hips On the Drag Queen Go Swish Swish Swish.”
“I wrote this book because I wanted everyone to get to experience the magic of drag and to get a little practice shaking their hips or shimmying their shoulders to know how we can feel fabulous inside of our own bodies,” Little Miss Hot Mess told kids on the PBS show.
After singing and dancing along with the book, the drag queen said, “I think we might have some drag queens in training on our hand.”

Former Olympic weightlifter Tracey Lambrechs said female athletes are being told to silence complaints about transgender New Zealand athlete Laurel Hubbard competing in women’s weightlifting competitions.
Lambrechs blasted allowing biological men to compete against women in sports during an interview with Television New Zealand (TVNZ) last week, according to Reuters. Lambrechs comments come as the 43-year-old Hubbard is poised to become the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympics, assuming they can qualify under the New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) regulations for fitness and performance.
“I’m quite disappointed, quite disappointed for the female athlete who will lose out on that spot,” Lambrechs said. “We’re all about equality for women in sport but right now that equality is being taken away from us.”
“I’ve had female weightlifters come up to me and say, ‘What do we do? This isn’t fair, what do we do?’ Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do because every time we voice it we get told to be quiet,” she continued.
The uproar about the book lead parents to contact the school board — and the revelation that the school board president owns an “all ages” sex toy shop.
The teacher, Jennifer Miller, read the book I am Jazz to her class. The story was written by Jazz Jennings, who was on a reality show as a transgender child. It is about a two-year-old biological male transitioning to female, with the support of his parents.
When a concerned parent emailed the teacher to ask about the book, the teacher sent back a bunch of woke nonsense about inclusion. The email was obtained by the Young America’s Foundation.
“Yes, I did read this book,” Miller replied. “As a district we are working hard to support all members of our school community and promote inclusion through understanding and compassion.”
Parents began to reach out to the school board who refused to take any action.
An investigation by the Young America’s Foundation found that Jennifer Mason, president of the Bellingham School Board, owns and operates a self-described “all-ages” sex toy shop.
Weightlifter Laurel Hubbard — a biological male who identifies as female and has competed against women for several years — is poised to become the first-ever transgender athlete to compete in the Olympic Games, Inside the Games reported.
The outlet said the New Zealander has been “effectively guaranteed a place at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after the approval of an amended qualifying system by the International Olympic Committee.”
Since so many Olympic-qualifying competitions had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the IOC devised a new system reducing the number of competition performances needed for qualification, Inside the Games said.
Hubbard’s best qualifying total is 285 kilograms, the outlet said — which is a bit over 628 pounds — and that puts the weightlifter “very much in the reckoning for a place on the podium in the women’s super-heavyweights in Tokyo.”
Inside the Games said only three athletes will have higher qualifying totals when the entries are named — and while Hubbard is ranked 16th, at least six weightlifters ranked higher won’t be attending the Olympics for various reasons.
Hubbard, 43, will be the oldest weightlifter at Tokyo, the outlet said. CNN reported, however, that Hubbard has not been named yet to the national women’s weightlifting team going to the Games.
A Harry Potter event was canceled at an upcoming book festival in New Zealand over headline-making comments the best selling author J.K. Rowling made, in which she said only women can menstruate.
Organizers of the Featherston Booktown Karukatea festival in New Zealand, which will be held on May 6-9 have canceled an interactive Harry Potter quiz — which had been very popular at past events — according to a report by Stuff.
Rowling has faced backlash by transgender activists for saying only women can menstruate. The author has also been labeled a “TERF” (trans exclusionary radical feminist) — a term referring to feminists who are considered too “radical” for even left-wing activists, as they do not believe that a biological man is a woman.
In a lengthy essay Rowling wrote last summer, responding the attacks she has received from transgender activists, Rowling said, “I refuse to bow down to a movement that I believe is doing demonstrable harm in seeking to erode ‘woman’ as a political and biological class and offering cover to predators like few before it.”
“It isn’t enough for women to be trans allies,” she continued. “Women [are told they] must accept and admit that there is no material difference between trans women and themselves.”
“But, as many women have said before me, ‘woman’ is not a costume. ‘Woman’ is not an idea in a man’s head. ‘Woman’ is not a pink brain, a liking for Jimmy Choos or any of the other sexist ideas now somehow touted as progressive,” Rowling said. “Moreover, the ‘inclusive’ language that calls female people ‘menstruators’ and ‘people with vulvas’ strikes many women as dehumanizing and demeaning.”
Featherston resident and feminist activist Jenny Whyte told Stuff the organizers’ decision not to have the Harry Potter quiz at the festival is ironic.
Children haven’t been able to go to school because of Covid, but they can strut across a stage with drag queens at midnight.
A viral video of prepubescent children being paraded across a stage at a drag queen show in South Beach at midnight was making the rounds Monday.
“Why in the hell to do these people got these f*cking little bitty ass kids at this f*cking drag show, y’all?” a woman said. “It’s 11:40 at night.”
The drag queen took the child’s hand and led her and another masked child across the stage, showing them how to pose and dance for cash.
