Axios Accuses GOP of Fabricating Kamala Harris ‘Border Czar’ Title — 3 Years After Reporting Biden Made Her Border Czar!

Axios asserted that Republicans and the Trump campaign have falsely labeled Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s “border czar” — despite the fact they themselves reported three years ago that Biden appointed her as his border czar.

Axios’ “immigration guru” Stef Kight wrote on Wednesday that, “The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the ‘border czar’ title — which she never actually had.”

“In early 2021, President Biden enlisted Vice President Kamala Harris to help with a slice of the migration issue — a move that has turned into one of the newly-presumptive presidential nominee’s first campaign headaches,” wrote Kight.

“Confusion around the VP’s exact role, early media misfires and the rapidly changing regional migration crisis has made the issue a top target for the GOP trying to define their new opponent.”

Schumer Fails To Muster Applause As He Endorses Harris

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer held a cringe press conference in order to endorse Kamala Harris as the new Democratic nominee, but literally no one cared.

Schumer expected people to start clapping when he announced “We are here today to throw our support behind VP Kamala Harris!”

When there was just silence, Schumer awkwardly stated “I’m clapping! You don’t have to.”

Oof.

When he was asked to explain how exactly this process of binning Biden and getting Harris on the ticket is Democratic, Schumer bizarrely stated “The bottom line: It was a bottom-up process. People just rallied right to her side! The enthusiasm in this big, diverse, representative party was amazing! It was palpable; you could cut it with a knife!”

When Kamala Harris was put in charge in past jobs, scandal and failure often followed

Before she was Joe Biden’s understudy the last four years, Kamala Harris ran offices as a California prosecutor and senator. Often, scandal and failings followed in her wake.

As California Attorney General, Harris was widely criticized for failing to take on prosecutorial misconduct. In fact her office was “called out” by judges for “defending convictions obtained by local prosecutors” who had inserted false confessions, lied under oath, and withheld evidence. A federal appeals judge even admonished officials in 2015 to talk to Harris “and make sure she understands the gravity of the situation” involving prosecutorial misconduct.

Likewise, Harris’ top deputy was accused of sexually harassing a staffer while working for Harris at the California Department of Justice, costing the state $400,000 to settle the case.

Now, as vice president, not only has Harris’ office been plagued by staff issues, but the vice president is scrutinized for her role as “Border Czar” leading the Biden administration’s efforts to solve the border crisis. Early in their term,  Biden designated Harris to address the migration challenges at the border after he initially rolled back several of his predecessor’s initiatives.

Harris came under fire after she failed to visit the border for months after she was given the assignment. By the time she finally showed up in El Paso, untold tens of thousands had illegally crossed into the United States, many of them violent criminals and gang members.

“Serving as our nation’s Border Czar, VP Harris has overseen the worst, unmitigated border security crisis in our lifetime. The data is irrefutable,” Mark Morgan, former Commissioner of Customs Border Protection under Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, told Just the News.

“She fully supported the dismantling of the network of tools, authorities, and polices we had in place under the Trump Administration that had led to the most secure border in our lifetime and has repeatedly lied to the American people regarding the government’s loss of operational control of our own borders,” Morgan continued.

“Under her reign, more Americans have died from fentanyl pouring across the border; more potential national security threats and criminals have attempted to exploit our open order policies; and more illegal aliens have been encountered during her tenure, than any other time in our nation’s history.  Her performance has negatively impacted every aspect of our country’s safety and national security and can only be described as – complete failure,” he added.

The Party Of ‘Democracy” Will Now Choose Your Candidate For You

On Sunday, July 21, President Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential campaign via a text-only post on Twitter/X.

Less than an hour later, Biden – also via a text-only post on Twitter/X – endorsed vice president Kamala Harris for the presidency.

Thus, in just a few minutes, the ruling party in Washington completely erased the primary election process from one of the country’s major parties.

That is, the same Democratic party that tells us it is the party of “democracy” just completely cut ordinary voters out of the selection process for the Democratic nominee.

Instead, the Democratic nominee in 2024 will be chosen by a small group of elite party insiders. We’re told there will be an “open convention” in Chicago to choose the nominee, but all that means is that that there is no pre-determined nominee going into the convention. In any case, however, the nominee will be chosen by delegates and superdelegates (i.e., wealthy party elites like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) behind closed doors.

The Democratic party’s efforts to circumvent the primary process are quite remarkable for a ruling coalition that lectured the general public endlessly in 2020 about how Donald Trump was allegedly a “threat to democracy” and how “democracy is on the ballot.”

Yet, this is what we’ve come to expect from political elites who use the term “democracy” as a propaganda term. For these people, the term has no objective meaning, it just means “something we like.” “Anti-democratic,” in contrast, just means “something we don’t like.”

Moreover, its use as a propaganda term can be seen in the way that “democracy” is used in the same way as “revolutionary” by Marxist regimes. In such cases “revolutionary” is code for “in favor of the ruling elites” and “something we like.” Similarly, the opposite of “democracy” in a Marxist regime is “counterrevolutionary” or “bourgeois.” Those terms were essentially code for “against the ruling party” and “thing we don’t like.”

Such terms have no actual content in the usual sense of a word.  Thus, the term “democracy” simply means “good” and “not democratic” means “evil.”

Biden’s surprise call to old campaign staff is labelled FAKE after viewers spot suspicious detail

Joe Biden’s phone call to former campaign staffers on Monday has sparked new theories on the president’s health after an odd moment between the president and Kamala Harris.

The 81-year-old spoke in a scratchy voice from COVID isolation at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, home and told Harris: ‘I’m watching you, kid’.

However, many noted a strange exchange between the vice president and her boss, who has not been seen in five days and since he shocked the world by dropping out of the race via a letter posted to social media on Sunday.

The new presumptive Democratic nominee Harris said: ‘Joe, I know you’re still on the rec… on the call.’

With many having wildly suggested Biden is seriously ill because of the way he announced his departure, conservative firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene wondered if the game had been given up by Harris’ slip of the tongue.

Greene was referring to Harris clearly starting to say the word ‘recording’ before correcting herself and saying ‘call’ to Biden.

You Can’t Make This Up: MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski Claims Mispronouncing Kamala Harris’ Name Is a Right-Wing ‘Hate Campaign’

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski has claimed that Republicans and right-wing media have initiated a “hate campaign” against Vice President Kamala Harris.

This comes after President Joe Biden announced he would not be seeking re-election in 2024.

Brzezinski, who has consistently defended Biden even after his disastrous performance in the presidential debate, alleges that “right-wing media” are intentionally mispronouncing Harris’ name.

She asserts that this is a calculated move by these outlets to stir up opposition against the potential Democrat nominee.

“I’ve heard from inside Republican circles and right-wing media that the hate campaign against Kamala Harris has begun,” she claimed.

“You’ll notice they purposefully pronounce her name wrong. They say Kamala. They do it all the time. It is on purpose. But the talk is to start that hate campaign and get it going and start it churning.”

Google Search For ‘Is Biden Dead’ Surges Past ‘Donate to Kamala’

Google search requests for “Is Biden Dead” have surged past “Donate to Kamala” amid growing speculation over Joe Biden’s whereabouts since he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race on Sunday.

A Google Trends graphic shows that in the past 24 hours, searches for “Donate to Kamala” have flatlined while searches for “Is Biden Dead” skyrocketed as questions swirl over his exit from the race when he issued a statement via X and has not been seen publicly since July 17.

Biden’s letter raised even more eyebrows because it did not include an official presidential letterhead and his signature was suspiciously different from his previous signatures.

Biden’s conspicuous absence from the public eye has even prompted media pundits to question why he hasn’t shown his face following his historic announcement.

Kamala Harris’s Distinguished Career of Serving Injustice

Sen. Kamala Harris is rising in the polls after dramatically confronting former Vice President Joe Biden during the Democratic primary debate about his opposition to federally mandated busing for desegregation.

The following week, however, Harris backed away from saying that busing should always be federally mandated, calling it just one “tool that is in the toolbox” for school districts to use. When asked to clarify whether she would support federal mandates for busing, she said: “I believe that any tool that is in the toolbox should be considered by a school district.” But Biden’s poll numbers are falling as a result of Harris’s theatrical attack.

Harris, who served as San Francisco district attorney from 2004 to 2011 and California attorney general from 2011 to 2017, describes herself as a “progressive prosecutor.” Harris’s prosecutorial record, however, is far from progressive.

Through her apologia for egregious prosecutorial misconduct, her refusal to allow DNA testing for a probably innocent death row inmate, her opposition to legislation requiring the attorney general’s office to independently investigate police shootings and more, she has made a significant contribution to the sordid history of injustice she decries.

It’s Been Easy To Forget How Bad Kamala Harris Is

President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race amid concern from fellow Democrats that he stood no chance of beating Donald Trump this go-round. “I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down,” Biden posted to X, before shortly after throwing his “full support and endorsement” behind Vice President Kamala Harris becoming the party’s new nominee.

“Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump,” Biden added. “Let’s do this.”

But can Harris “do this”?

It’s hard to conclude that Harris would fare worse than Biden, whose cognitive difficulties were so apparent his own party came to view him as a serious electoral liability.

Yet if one recalls Harris’ own ill-fated run at the Democratic nomination in 2020, and her time in politics before then, the math in this equation becomes somewhat fuzzier—Harris was a truly bad candidate. And prior to that, she perpetuated some truly bad policies.

Kamala Harris the horrible campaigner and Kamala Harris the cop can be easy to forget if you’re only considering what Harris has done lately. Her tenure as vice president has been almost entirely unremarkable. The most distinguishing feature has been a series of bizarre but benign word salads. And political memory is short.

So Harris isn’t the best orator? Surely that’s surmountable. Besides, the lack of distinguishing actions during her vice presidency could even be to her advantage. She’s basically a blank slate, at least if you don’t look back too far.

But what if you do look back?

The first thing you’ll see is Harris’ shambolic 2020 campaign for president. She wouldn’t commit to policy positions. She couldn’t defend her past actions. There were ongoing stories about her poor treatment of her staff. She entered the race as a top-tier candidate, with glowing press and some big-time backers, and dropped out two months before the Iowa caucuses, polling at just 3 percent nationally. She wasn’t even polling as a top-tier candidate in her home state of California.

It was impossible in that campaign to ascertain what Harris stood for. This wasn’t just a case of national campaigning jitters. One major thread in Harris’ career—including during her days as district attorney of San Francisco and attorney general of California—has been flip-flopping on issues to suit the audience or the political moment.

‘President’ Kamala Harris is ‘the future of the Democratic Party,’ White House says

Vice President Kamala Harris is “the future of the Democratic Party,” the White House declared Wednesday as leading Democrats and their allies position themselves to replace President Biden as the party’s nominee if the 81-year-old president steps aside.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre pronounced Harris as Biden’s political heir, at one point referring to her as “president,” when asked about his 2020 campaign remark that he would be a “transitional” candidate.

“One of the reasons why he picked the vice president, President [sic] Kamala Harris, is because she is indeed the future of the party,” Jean-Pierre said at her regular briefing.

Harris, 59, faces stiff potential competition for the Democratic presidential nomination, including from Govs. Gavin Newsom of California, 56, and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, 52, if Biden steps aside following his disastrous debate performance last week against former President Donald Trump.

Some leading Democrats fear that Harris, whom they pan as awkward in public engagements, would boost Trump’s chances even further — though a poll released Tuesday by CNN showed Harris trailing Trump by 2 percentage points nationally, versus Biden’s six-point deficit.
