‘The US has no obligation’: Biden fought to keep Vietnamese refugees out of the US
As South Vietnam collapsed at the end of the Vietnam War in the spring of 1975, President Gerald Ford and the U.S. government undertook to evacuate thousands of South Vietnamese families who had assisted the U.S. throughout the war. The leading voice in the Senate opposing this rescue effort was then-Sen. Joe Biden.
Hundreds of thousands of South Vietnamese allies were in danger of recriminations from the Communists, but Biden insisted that “the United States has no obligation to evacuate one — or 100,001 — South Vietnamese.”
In April 1975, Ford argued that, as the last American troops were removed from the country, the U.S. should evacuate the South Vietnamese who had helped the U.S. during the war, too.
“The United States has had a long tradition of opening its doors to immigrants of all countries … And we’ve always been a humanitarian nation,” Ford said. “We felt that a number of these South Vietnamese had been very loyal to the United States and deserved an opportunity to live in freedom.”
But Biden objected and called for a meeting between the president and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to voice his objections to Ford’s funding request for these efforts. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who led the meeting, told the senators that “the total list of the people endangered in Vietnam is over a million” and that “the irreducible list is 174,000.”

Former President Barack Obama is returning to the public limelight to give the Biden administration a much-needed booster.
Joe Biden, who is clearly disconnected and often absent of knowing what is going on, continues to shy away from unscripted exchanges with reporters.
So now, Obama’s “star power” to rescue a major Biden administration program.
On Sunday, Obama will be hitting the airwaves on NBC to plug an hour-long endorsement of the Biden vaccine rollout. It has taken a major hiccup with the “pause” of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was tied to at least six cases of a rare blood-clotting disorder out of 7 million doses.
Biden’s UN Ambassador: ‘Sin of Slavery Weaved White Supremacy Into Our Founding Documents and Principles’
President Joe Biden’s UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield says America must acknowledge its own failures before it joins the UN Human Rights Council.
“I’ve seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles,” declared Thomas-Greenfield.
“When we raise issues of equity and justice at the global scale we have to approach them with humility,” she said. “We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union and have been since the beginning and every day we strive to make ourselves more perfect.”

Biden’s Infrastructure Bill Includes Making ‘Diverse’ Neighborhoods Across America Through Zoning Laws
The focus of President Joe Biden’s $2.3 trillion infrastructure bill is allegedly to address aging infrastructure across the country, but the massive bill covers a vast amount of other spending, including money for “diversifying” neighborhoods.
This portion of Biden’s American Jobs Plan would change zoning laws to end single family home neighborhoods and allow for multiple unit “affordable” or low-income rental housing.
According to the White House Fact Sheet, the housing effort is “an innovative new approach to eliminate state and local exclusionary zoning laws, which drive up the cost of construction and keep families from moving to neighborhoods with more opportunities for them and their kids”:
“For decades, exclusionary zoning laws — like minimum lot sizes, mandatory parking requirements, and prohibitions on multifamily housing — have inflated housing and construction costs and locked families out of areas with more opportunities,” the fact sheet states. “President Biden is calling on Congress to enact an innovative, new competitive grant program that awards flexible and attractive funding to jurisdictions that take concrete steps to eliminate such needless barriers to producing affordable housing.”
In contrast to former President Donald Trump’s Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Opportunity Zones program that partnered the federal government with private sector investors to create less rental housing and increase home ownership, Biden’s plan uses tax breaks for state and local governments, the Fact Sheet states:
“[Biden] is calling on Congress to pass the innovative, bipartisan Neighborhood Homes Investment Act (NHIA). Offering $20 billion worth of NHIA tax credits over the next five years will result in approximately 500,000 homes built or rehabilitated, creating a pathway for more families to buy a home and start building wealth.”

President Joe Biden is seeking to ease a national affordable housing shortage by pushing local governments to allow apartment buildings in neighborhoods that are currently restricted to single-family homes.
The $5 billion plan could inject the White House into a debate pitting older homeowners against younger workers seeking to gain a foothold in the most expensive U.S. cities, where many families spend a third or more of their income on housing.
The proposal, which would provide financial incentives to local governments that change zoning laws restricting many neighborhoods to single-family homes, is an example of the sort of broad social policy changes Democrats are including in Biden’s $2 trillion infrastructure bill.
Biden’s plan even designates which workers will benefit from this housing project — “put union building trade workers to work upgrading homes and businesses to save families money,” the Fact Sheet states.
Biden’s Latest Scheme To Fix Border Crisis: Paying Would-Be Illegals To Stay Home
Latest weather balloon to be floated around is the possibility of U.S. taxpayer checks to pay would-be illegals in Central America to stay home.
According to a report from Reuters:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The United States is considering a conditional cash transfer program to help address economic woes that lead migrants from certain Central American countries to trek north, as well as sending COVID-19 vaccines to those countries, a senior White House official told Reuters on Friday.
The potential program would be targeted at people in the Northern Triangle region of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, Roberta Jacobson, the White House’s southern border coordinator, told Reuters in an interview, without saying who exactly would receive cash.
Kind of a stimulus check incentive plan for foreign nationals on the promise that they’ll not break into our country illegally, but instead live in their homelands for awhile, maybe as long as the cash lasts? It’s a typical liberal idea of throwing cash at a problem instead of solving it.
Biden’s Electric Cars Will Have To Run on Chinese Batteries
With blissful abandon, President Joe Biden is proposing a massive expansion in electric cars, funding 500,000 charging stations for their batteries around the country.
There’s only one problem: China controls 80 percent of the globe’s essential raw materials—called rare earth minerals—necessary for the manufacture of car batteries.
Meanwhile, the United States has to import 80 percent of these minerals it uses, mainly from Beijing
So, in switching from gas-powered cars to electric cars, we would be switching from energy self-sufficiency to total dependence on China.
Instead of Arab sheiks controlling our destiny, Chinese communist apparatchiks would.
The U.S. once was the dominant global supplier of rare earth minerals until the environmental movement closed down the mines in California and Nevada that produced much of the world’s supply.
Biden’s Plan to Enact Gun Control and the Dangers of David Chipman
With Joe Biden’s executive actions now public and the President nominating rabid anti-gunner David Chipman for the top job at the ATF, many gun owners wonder what is next.
The targeting of unfinished firearms kits and pistol braces, along with an attempt to place Chipman in the ATF Director’s chair, hints at Giffords playing a significant role in the Biden administration’s gun policy. The former ATF agent was the Senior Advisor at Giffords, and long have pushed to eliminate the items Biden is trying to ban through regulation. In fact, in September of 2018, Chipman wrote what could be described as a road map for gun control.
Looking at this document, we can see what is coming down the road and Chipman’s nonsensical reasoning. It also highlights why we need all hands on deck to stop him from being confirmed. A David Chipman ATF is the greatest real danger the Second Amendment has ever faced. Republicans are partially responsible for the peril we are in as well. The lack of push back on the bump stock ban embolden Chipman and his elk. The ATF will use the reclassification of bump stocks as a template to reclassify other items.
We can see the ATF try to ban these items through reclassification with Chipman at the helm.
Biden’s Plan to Create Police Oversight Agency Put On Hold, White House Says
A police oversight commission promised by US President Joe Biden during his election campaign has been put on hold, as the move was considered “not the most effective” against police brutality, Domestic Policy Council Director Susan Rice told Politico.
Biden pledged to establish a police watchdog within the first 100 days of his presidency last June, in the wake of the death of African-American citizen George Floyd while being arrested by a white police officer. The incident sparked mass protests against racially-motivated police brutality.
“Based on close, respectful consultation with partners in the civil rights community, the administration made the considered judgement that a police commission, at this time, would not be the most effective way to deliver on our top priority in this area, which is to sign the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act into law,” Rice said in a statement late on Sunday.
The authorities held consultations with police unions as well and concluded that an oversight commission would likely be redundant.
