HUH? Dem Senator Elissa Slotkin Says ‘We Must Fund the Department of Homeland Security’ Right After She Voted Against It

This week, after the terror attack on a synagogue in Michigan, Dem Senator Elissa Slotkin stood in front of TV cameras and said that we need to fund the Department of Homeland Security, which is odd considering she voted against doing that just hours before then.

Democrats are putting American lives at risk with their little shutdown game.

If we had a competent media, someone might ask Ms. Slotkin to explain her comments versus her actions.

The Daly Caller reported:

Democratic Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin changed her tune on funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Friday after a Lebanese national attacked a Metro Detroit synagogue.

DHS identified the deceased suspect who attacked the Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, as Ayman Mohamed Ghazali, a Lebanese native who became a U.S. citizen in 2016. Slotkin, who voted in favor of continuing the partial shutdown of DHS on Thursday, said during a press conference that DHS needs to be funded because it is an “essential” agency.

“I would say the department, because they are essential workers, they have been at work,” Slotkin said. “Certainly in Michigan, we have a ton of DHS folks, CBP and so they are on the call and they are doing their jobs. Certainly, we need to fund the Department of Homeland Security and we need, in my view, to cut away all the conversation on ICE, which is its own conversation, from all of the core missions at the Department of Homeland Security. But they’re essential, they are on the job and they are working today.”

Harris for Peace? Neocons Exist on BOTH Sides

The Democrats are taking to the media to declare that war could have been prevented has Kamala Harris won the election. That narrative is convenient politically, but it ignores what the politicians themselves actually said. The desire for confrontation with Iran has existed on both sides of the political spectrum for decades. The problem is not simply one president or one party. The problem is the bipartisan foreign policy establishment that has long treated Iran as the central strategic enemy in the Middle East. The neocons exist on both sides.

During the 2024 campaign, Kamala Harris herself made the position very clear. When asked which country she considered the United States’ greatest adversary, she replied that the answer was “Iran.” That statement alone shows how deeply the Iran war narrative had already taken hold in Washington. Once a country is publicly framed as the primary adversary, the policy direction becomes predictable. Sanctions escalate, proxy conflicts expand, and eventually military confrontation becomes increasingly likely.

Yet now many of the same politicians who previously described Iran as America’s top enemy are suddenly condemning the war. Harris has recently criticized the Trump administration’s actions toward Iran, arguing against the escalation of the conflict. The shift in tone is typical Washington politics. When out of power, politicians oppose the war. When in power, the same establishment often supports it. “Let me be clear,” Harris wrote in a statement shared on the social platform X. “I am opposed to a regime-change war in Iran, and our troops are being put in harm’s way for the sake of Trump’s war of choice.”

GOP Congressman Running For Florida Governor Admits To Selling Marijuana Despite Opposing Legalization And Sentencing Reform

A GOP congressman running for governor in Florida who has opposed marijuana legalization in the state and sponsored federal legislation to upend a Washington, D.C. sentencing reform law has admitted for the first time that he was arrested for selling cannabis as a young adult.

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), a Trump-endorsed GOP candidate vying to replace Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), was pressed on the apparent disconnect during an interview with CBS Miami that aired on Saturday.

While it was previously known that Donalds faced an arrest over marijuana in 1997—only to have the charges dropped years later as part of a pre-trial diversion program—this marked the first time he’s publicly admitted to selling small amounts of cannabis and acknowledged that he benefitted from the type of criminal justice reform law he’s worked to undermine in the District of Columbia.

“Honestly, I was walking down the street, I was leaving a party, officers came up, asked me if I would empty my pockets. I said, ‘Yes, of course.’ I had a dime bag of marijuana in my pocket. That’s the story,” the congressman said. “It was bad decisions. I can’t undo that decision.”

Donalds said he sold “low-level amounts” of marijuana, reiterating that he made “terrible decisions” and that it was among the things he did in his early adulthood that he wishes he could “undo.”

“I wish I could undo [it]. I wish I could, but I can’t do that,” he said. “I would tell people, if you examine my life since 20 years old, my life has really been a story of redemption.”

But that redemption arc was made possible, in part, thanks to sentencing policy that afforded Donalds a level of relief that he’s sought to deprive D.C. residents of—a point that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) raised during a House floor debate last year where she slammed her GOP colleague over the apparent double standard.

“Imagine standing in front of a judge with your life hanging in balance, and instead of prison you’re given a promise of mercy. Your record is wiped clean, and you’ve got a second chance at life,” Crockett said. “Imagine turning that into a promotion and you go to college and get a job and even become a member of Congress. That’s what redemption looks like.”

LOL: Jasmine Crockett Speaks to Supporters After Brutal Democrat Primary Loss — Claims “Republicans” Are Cheating Despite Previously Saying Voter Fraud Is a ‘Conspiracy’

Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) appears to have discovered election “irregularities” but only after losing.

On Tuesday night, as the results in Dallas County began to look grim for the firebrand Democrat, Crockett didn’t just concede gracefully. Instead, she took a page out of the very book she’s spent years condemning.

Despite her previous claims that voter fraud was nothing more than a “conspiracy theory,” Crockett is now blaming “cheating” and “Republican tactics” for the mass confusion at the polls.

The reason for the chaos? A simple rule change that required voters to cast ballots at their assigned precincts rather than just wandering into any polling location they happened to see.

Apparently, following basic rules is now considered “suppression” in the eyes of the radical left.

Crockett: “We encourage each and every one of you to remain resilient. We cannot allow this type of behavior to be rewarded because so long as they know that they can win, even if it means cheating, then they will continue to do it.

So, I am asking you, I am begging you, to make sure that you go ahead and figure out where it is that you are supposed to vote, stand in line, wait in line.”

Great Nations Do Not Fight Endless Wars

“Great nations do not fight endless wars,” Donald Trump said during his campaign when highlighting his “Americas First” message. Trump explicitly promised to maintain peace and keep American troops out of foreign wars. American blood has been shed in the Middle East once more amid Operation Epic Fury. Could this escalating war cause MAGA to fracture?

“We are not going to war with Iran. We are going to make sure they never have a nuclear weapon,” Trump once said. I’ve mentioned that I was particularly impressed with Donald Trump after visiting Mar-a-Lago. He was the first politician to voice genuine concern over American lives lost fighting endless wars. “After 19 years, it is time for them to police their own country. Bring our soldiers back home but closely watch what is going on and strike with a thunder like never before, if necessary!” he posted in 2020. Trump later vowed to bring our troops home by Christmas of that year.

The man who once remorsefully spoke of dreading watching mothers mourning their sons and daughters has been compromised, infiltrated by the neocons. He admitted that the US should have never been in Iraq or Afghanistan. He did not troops in Syria. Trump clearly acknowledged that the Middle East has endless generations of feuding and rivalry that cannot be stopped. “Peace in the Middle East” cannot be attained through warfare, and truthfully, it simply cannot be attained because of the deep rooted ideology that has been passed on throughout thousands of years.

The neocons fantasized of a 6-week war in Iraq back in 2003, but US troops remained on the ground until December 2011. The strike on Iran is expected to last “four to give weeks,” according to Washington officials who say they are on a “clear, decisive mission.” Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said it will take “some time” but “not years…not an endless war.”

Americans voted for peace and nationalism after four years of globalist policies. Trump has shot himself in the foot. Exactly on target with the ECM, 2026 is emerging as a major geopolitical turning point. The model has been warning that this year would mark a shift into a broader phase of instability. What we are witnessing is not is cyclical.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck HUMILIATES The View’s Open-Borders Leftists with Cold Hard Facts — Reminds Them Their Own Audience Needed Security Clearance to Enter

Former The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck detonated a truth bomb on live television, leaving the far-left panel scrambling as she dismantled their open-borders talking points and delivered a blunt defense of strong border security.

The former co-host lectured the panel after the far-left hosts began trashing Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and criticizing the administration’s tougher immigration policies.

Instead of going along with the usual script, Hasselbeck delivered a blistering reality check.

Hasselbeck deconstructed the logic of the far-left panel by pointing directly to the people sitting in the studio. In a masterful move, she turned the camera on the audience to illustrate the necessity of vetting and boundaries.

“How many people in the audience here had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand, just be honest,” Hasselbeck challenged. “Otherwise you go to jail, I guess, for illegal trespassing, right? This is an authorized audience. They had to go through security to get through the border to get right here to just hear us talk. We need strong borders more than ever right now.”

The silence from the co-hosts was deafening as Hasselbeck drove the point home: If a daytime talk show requires a “border” to ensure safety, why doesn’t the United States of America?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck:
I think all lives matter to God, and we’re in uncommon times, so we need to have uncommon sense about things like this. Yes, there will be mistakes made, but I think if Kristi Noem were up for promotion right now and she put forward the statistics that zero illegals released into the U.S. for 10 months straight have crossed, that nearly 3 million aliens have left the United States, that we have the lowest murder rate in 125 years, that fentanyl trafficking is down 56% at the border, and that daily encounters have gone down 96%—hang on one second.

We need a strong border, especially now with our current global situation. And I believe that you may say you don’t want border control and you’re against ICE, but I actually don’t believe you in your daily lives. How many people in the audience here had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand. Just be honest. Otherwise you go to jail, I guess, for illegal trespassing, right?

This is an authorized audience. They had to go through security to get through the border to get right here just to hear us talk. We need strong borders more than ever right now.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck:
We are being infiltrated by terrorists.

Sunny Hostin:
But listen, we were not on the border when Renee Goode and Alex Peretti were murdered, and death is not a mistake. That was murder. That was murder.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck:
As were those killed by illegal immigrants. Murder.

Jasmine Crockett suggests GOP rigged her Democratic Primary election: ‘This is what Republicans like to do’

U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, is claiming Republicans tried to rig her primary race against moderate Texas State Rep. James Talarico, District-50, on Tuesday after the state’s Supreme Court ruled in an emergency decision against her campaign’s request to give voters from Dallas County an extension to sort out confusion about Republican-led changes to polling locations.

On Tuesday, Republicans and Democrats did not hold joint primaries, leading to polling location restrictions that Democrats, like Crockett, claimed were disenfranchising voters.

Crockett’s claims came after the Texas Supreme Court knocked down a lower judge’s ruling to keep polling places open longer, mandating that any votes cast after the initial closing time be separated. Democrats pushed for polling locations to be open longer amid polling location restrictions that resulted from Republicans and Democrats not holding joint primaries.

“Knowing that Dallas County is a big dump of votes, we, in my opinion, will not know the election results overall tonight,” Crockett told supporters who gathered to celebrate her potential victory.

“So, that’s my news, is that we’re not going to have election results tonight, in my opinion, based upon what specifically is taking place in Dallas County. Unfortunately, this is what Republicans like to do. And, so, they specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why.”

The Texas High Court’s decision to undo a lower court’s ruling from earlier in the night that had given voters in Dallas County until 9:00 p.m. to cast their ballot instructed tabulators to disregard votes that came in after 7:00 p.m.

“I can tell you now that people have been disenfranchised,” Crockett told supporters at a campaign event on Tuesday evening as the courts’ back-and-forth played out. “In my opinion, we will not know the election results overall tonight.”

Virginia Democrats Are Now Trying to TRIPLE Their Own Pay – After Abigail Spanberger Ran on Affordability

Virginia’s new governor, Abigail Spanberger, ran on a campaign focused on affordability, so did other Virginia Democrats.

It is now becoming increasingly apparent that this was a lie.

These people have been in office for just a matter of weeks and they are already trying to triple their own pay. Things will certainly be more affordable for them if they get away with this.

FOX News reports:

Virginia Democrats talk affordability — and vote to nearly triple their own pay

The Virginia State Senate and its Democratic majority may have voted to nearly triple their pay if a provision inserted into their final budget survives the House reconciliation process and reaches Gov. Abigail Spanberger’s desk.

The development comes as Spanberger has centered her campaign on “affordability,” with Richmond Democrats echoing that they are working to improve their constituents’ personal finances.

Virginia’s legislature itself was founded as a part-time, gentleman’s chamber, where lawmakers would return to their day jobs when Richmond wasn’t holding session.

Proponents of raising the current 1988-established salary of $18,000 for senators and $17,640 for delegates say the structure restricts who can afford to serve as a lawmaker today. Lawmakers also qualify for a $237 per diem, mileage reimbursements, and coverage of office, meeting and other expenses.

Senators’ new salary would be $50,000.

Republicans were quick to criticize the final budget, with the Virginia Senate Minority Caucus saying in a statement that “teachers got a 3% raise, but Democrats give themselves 300%.” The actual increase would be closer to 178%, though one could say the new salary would be 300% of the original.

Law professor Jonathan Turley points out that these Democrats are going to need a salary increase in order to afford all of the new taxes they are proposing.

GOP Rep. Tim Burchett Reminds Democrats That Obama Bombed Eight Countries Without Congressional Approval

Republican Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee appeared on NewsNation tonight and provided a reminder for all of the Democrats who are suddenly claiming that Trump can’t act on Iran without congressional approval.

Burchett points out that Obama bombed eight different countries without congressional approval.

Democrats think no one remembers anything. When Obama was president, he could pretty much do anything he wanted with zero pushback from his party or the media. He could do no wrong in their eyes.

Partial transcript via Overton News:

BURCHETT: “President Obama bombed 8 countries without Congressional approval.”

“So I think it’s a little disingenuous for the Democrats start saying this is unprecedented and you’ve got the most stable regime, outside of probably the Chinese, in the whole right now.”

“And they’ve killed Americans within recent memory.”

“Is this the revenge tour? Maybe be a little bit. But you poke the bear you get it.”

“Or you poke the bull, you get the horns and the horns.”

“And the horns right now are Donald J. Trump.”

“And he’s letting an enemy of this country know how we feel about them.”

Dems Silent After New Revelations About Jack Smith’s Spying Ops On Political Enemies

The people who cheered on Jack Smith’s corrupt investigations into Donald Trump and his allies are suddenly silent after a bombshell report detailing the Biden FBI’s politically-charged spying ops.

Reuters this week reported the Democrat-led FBI subpoenaed records of phone calls made by current FBI Director Kash Patel and Susie Wiles, Trump’s campaign manager who now serves as his White House chief of Staff, in 2022 and 2023 when they were private citizens. Two anonymous FBI officials told the publication that the agency “recorded a phone call between Wiles and her attorney” in 2023.

Patel told Reuters that the clandestine, taxpayer-funded operation “extended into Wiles’ time as Trump’s co-campaign manager.”

Special Counsel Jack’s Smith’s “indiscriminate” election case against Trump, as Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley has described it, was drenched in partisan politics and constitutional transgressions, not the least of which is that Smith acted without without lawful authority. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon ruled in July 2024 that Smith’s appointment was unlawful.

Smith, appointed in 2022 by Democrat hatchet man, Attorney General Merrick Garland, was charged with investigating Trump on allegations that the president schemed to “overturn” the results of the rigged 2020 election in which Democrat Joe Biden claimed victory. The antecedent of that probe was “Arctic Frost,” the Biden FBI’s vendetta investigation targeting Republicans in Trump’s orbit, The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland has reported.

Patel called the latest revelations of the agency’s wider spying operations “outrageous and deeply alarming.” He told Reuters in a statement that previous FBI leadership used “flimsy pretexts” and buried the process in “prohibited case files designed to evade all oversight.”
