Transgender candidate hoping to replace Graham Platner in Maine Senate race cites songwriting as a qualification

A transgender-identifying candidate drew widespread attention on social media after entering Maine’s Senate race to replace former Democrat nominee Graham Platner, who dropped out while facing sexual assault allegations.

Ashley Webb caused a social media storm on Thursday after highlighting being a songwriter as a qualification for the United States Senate during a Democrat Maine Senate Debate held by News Center Maine.

When each candidate was given a chance to introduce themselves, Webb said, “The biggest thing I’d like to get across is that we need unity. Whoever wins this nomination, we need to show up at the polls, we need to vote for them, and we need to make sure they win, no matter what. Because what’s going on in this country is not right with the… with the immigration and immigrants are being targeted. They’re being rounded up like animals. It’s not acceptable to allow this to go on in our streets.”

“And then with the trans community, like we’re being dehumanized,” Webb continued. “They say that we want to hurt people. I don’t want to hurt anybody, I just want to use the bathroom. And if they want me to use the men’s room, I will, but I don’t want to be assaulted.”

“And as far as, like, this … what happened in Biddeford, it’s unacceptable. We knew since January that … what ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] has been doing with Alex and Renee,” Webb concluded as a tear fell, referring to the officer-involved shootings of Renee Good, Alex Pretti and Johan Sebastián Guerrero.

The moderators, journalists Rob Caldwell and Phil Hirschkorn, then asked each candidate what qualifications they have for the “extremely important” job of serving in Congress.

“Oh, I ran for office several times. Didn’t win, but I did run,” the Democrat candidate joked. “And then I’m a songwriter and then I write my own books and then I suppose my transparency. I wouldn’t lie to people and I wouldn’t deceive the people like we’re being deceived right now.”

Webb characterized “what’s going on with ICE” as “smoke and mirrors,” arguing that supporters of federal immigration enforcement are “pretending like these victims did something wrong.”

“I suppose the biggest thing is, like, I’m just an angry citizen now, and if I got elected, I’d be an angry senator and I think that would probably be their worst nightmare,” Webb said.

Later in the debate, when asked for specific solutions to address the nearly $40 trillion in national debt and approximately $1.37 trillion annual deficit, Webb suggested cutting government spending, specifically citing President Donald Trump’s renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which was reported to cost about $16 million, according to ABC News.

American Man Who Insists He’s a Woman Flees ‘Trump’s America,’ Finds Out

Leftists have their views of President Donald Trump and the state of the nation during his second term, but reality has its ways of breaking through, and they aren’t always pleasant. For over ten years now, the allegedly rational and tolerant among us have been working themselves, and anyone else they can get to, into a hysterical froth about Trump, in large part because of his determination not to allow the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave to become a borderless free-for-all place of sanctuary for all of the world’s criminals, psychopaths, and terrorists.

That hysteria has led numerous leftists to vow to flee the country rather than suffer one more minute of Orange Man Bad’s reign of terror, and some, albeit far fewer than have threatened to do so, have actually left. Many who have loudly announced that they’re leaving this benighted, proto-fascist land are still here because, deep in their heart of hearts, they know that what they’re saying about Trump and America is about as plausible as the claim that Old Joe Biden, while he was pretending to be president of the United States, was sharp as a tack.

Some, however, have actually bid farewell to our fair shores and shaken the dust off their feet, seeking a better life in lands that are more tolerant, inclusive, multicultural, and all the other words that the left uses as synonyms for “culturally suicidal.” One of those who fled Trump’s racist, insufferable Amerikkka was a big, bluff guy who insists he’s a woman and has a cute little ponytail to prove it. Having found refuge from Trump in the peaceful hamlet of Ter Apel in the Netherlands, the big guy has found himself facing problems that (could it be possible?) are even worse than the man leftists consider to be the focus of evil in the modern world.

A video shows the big guy talking with a female Dutch interviewer, over whom he towers, as if he were a… man, which, of course, he really is. As they chat, a group of much younger men lurk nearby, looking dangerous. The video opens with the man who thinks he’s a woman talking about those young men: “Between here and there is a bunch of Algerians and Moroccans or whoever who think that queer people should be beaten. I think that this system where you have people just living out here that are unhappy is not good.”

National Public Radio Suggests Banning Trans Surgery for Minors Sets a ‘Dangerous Precedent’

National Public Radio (NPR) recently did a story about how the Trump administration is cracking down on the use of Medicaid and Medicare for so-called ‘gender affirming care’ especially with regards to children.

This is another 80/20 issue that the vast majority of the public supports, it might even be 90/10. Most people do not believe that children should be involved in any of this. We don’t allow children to get tattoos, why would we allow them to get irreversible (and unnecessary) surgery that will affect them for the rest of their lives?

Despite public outcry, Democrats and the left in general, have made it clear that they simply will not let go of this issue.

The language in the NPR story shows that.

Touted as an exclusive story on National Public Radio from health reporter Selena Simmons-Duffin, “Trump’s HHS abandons threat to withhold Medicare and Medicaid funding over trans care” dutifully repeated the “gender-affirming care for youth” misnomer in the lead while providing only trans-supportive sources.

The Trump administration is abandoning its most aggressive attempt to end gender-affirming care for youth nationally, according to an official document obtained by NPR.

The document shows that the Department of Health and Human Services will not be finalizing a proposed rule that would have blocked all Medicaid and Medicare funding for hospitals that provide pediatric gender-affirming care…

The broadcast version that aired on NPR’s All Things Considered Monday added a “dangerous” adjective to the mix.

Simmons-Duffin: ….The American Medical Association and the Children’s Hospital Association both urged the government to withdraw it. They said it violated several laws and set a dangerous precedent….

This is exactly why for years now, conservatives have been calling for the defunding of NPR.

Transgender Maine Democrat Senate Candidate Claims He Has Monthly Period Through His Rectum

A transgender activist running to replace scandal-plagued Graham Platner once reportedly claimed in a Reddit post that he has a monthly period and that the blood comes through his rectum.

Ashley Webb is one of several Democrat candidates in Maine running to replace Platner, the latter of whom formally suspended his campaign after a rape allegation surfaced. Webb believes the trans community has been dehumanized, contending that he just wants to “use the bathroom.”

“If they want me to use the men’s room, I will but I don’t want to be assaulted,” he said during a recent debate.

However, Reddit posts reveal the extent of Webb’s gender dysphoria. Reportedly writing under the username sparky603, Webb initially announced his run for Senate last week.

“I’m a trans and intersex woman from Farmington, and I’m running the whole campaign myself — candidate and treasurer both, no big donors, no machine behind me,” he appeared to write, asking for signatures from registered Democrats across the state and admitting he is a “long shot in a crowded field.” A similar message was posted on a campaign website.

He appears to have spent a lot of time trying to explain his self-described transgender intersex condition on Reddit forums, explaining that his karyotype is XY, which means that biologically he is a man. However, Webb states he has external male parts but said he is “pretty positive I am the XX type, accept [sic] I got internal organs, unless what I am feeling are tumors that just happen to grow where those sorts of organs are usually.”

He claims to ovulate and get monthly periods despite no evidence of female organs, asserting that his bleeding comes through his anus.

“My testosterone is at 429ng/dl and estrogen is at 285 pg/ml,” he said in one of the forums. “The estrogen is not effecting my male parts. Male parts are normal size. I grew breasts and wider hips during puberty.”

Responding to someone questioning his assertions, Webb claimed he experiences monthly period pain, feeling “some thing [sic] in my right side about where my appendix is located and something above the bladder.”

“When the monthly pain is real bad, I am feeling something in both my right and left side and above my bladder,” he said before revealing where this “period” comes out due to his lack of a “proper hole”:

When you don’t have the proper hole, it finds one of two exits, the guy in China was lucky and the exit was his bladder, me on the other was not so lucky. My exit connection was made with my colon. Cause when I get this monthly pain, that is where the blood comes out of.

Intersex like us don’t get diagnosed till our 20’s as we tend not to be born with extra holes. I didn’t get diagnosed in my 20’s cause I was dealing with incompetent doctors who preferred to prescribe opiate pain killers rather than find the problem.

He said he does not like to talk about the monthly rectal bleeding because doctors have him get colonoscopies, which find nothing. He also said CAT scans cannot locate a uterus or ovaries “when they enter your gender as a male.”

Microsoft Word’s Woke New Feature Will Help You Always Be Inclusive Of ‘Every Gender’

Microsoft Word introduced a new “inclusiveness” feature to look for supposed bias in documents — including language it deems not representative of “all genders.”

Clarity, formality, conciseness and now inclusiveness are all categories of “refinements” Microsoft offers under the editing tool on Word. The woke tool suggests changes to make word choice “inclusive of all genders,” like changing “chairman” to “chairperson” and “mankind” to “humankind” or “humanity,” among many others, as a Consumers’ Research video shows. 

Microsoft did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

“It’s hardly surprising that Microsoft has an ‘inclusiveness editor’ for Word documents so that users are forced to comply with woke madness. Suggesting users change common words like ‘mankind’ and ‘firemen’ to be more gender-neutral is not a true grammatical error; it is a targeted ideological tactic to remove the very notion of gender from society,” Will Hild, executive director of Consumers’ Research said in a statement to the DCNF.

This adds to Microsoft’ efforts to support woke ideology, which include donating money to “groups promoting gender ideology on kids” and offering a library of videos to train people on being inclusive, according to Consumers’ Research.

The company’s innovation has come from its “commitment to [d]iversity and [i]nclusion,” Lindsay-Rae McIntyre, Microsoft’s Chief Diversity Officer and Corporate Vice President of Talent and Learning, said in Microsoft’s 2024 Global Diversity and Inclusion Report.

Liberal Journal ‘The Atlantic’ Claims the Era of the Democrat ‘Manly Man’ is Back

Democrats have a serious problem with men. We saw it during the 2024 election, as men abandoned the Democrat Party in droves and voted for Trump and Vance.

The reasons for this are pretty obvious. The left has been demonizing men for years, calling masculinity ‘toxic.’ At a certain point, men began getting the message that they are not welcome in the Democrat Party and they left.

The liberal media knows this and is going to try to help the Democrats if they can. That’s what this Atlantic article is all about.

Brian Poindexter had just finished wolfing down a Reuben sandwich in a deli outside Cleveland when he delivered a message that, coming from a Democratic House candidate in the year 2026, sounded almost provocative. “There’s nothing wrong with being masculine,” Poindexter told me. It’s okay, he said, to be “a manly man.”

Poindexter’s own manliness credentials are fully in order. The 46-year-old started working in a machine shop as a teenager and spent years hauling furniture across the country before finding stability as a union ironworker. He drives a Ram Big Horn pickup truck and built, with his buddy turned campaign manager, a shed in his backyard. Now Poindexter is running for Congress, trying to flip a Republican-held seat in Ohio with a pitch aimed at a constituency that has abandoned the Democratic Party over the past two decades: men…

Critiques such as Poindexter’s have gelled into a consensus over the past two years, repeated ad nauseam by starchy senators and governors with an eye toward running for president in 2028. Closing the gender gap now seems to be an official electoral strategy for Democrats. A couple of months ago, I got a call from a party operative who pitched a story on the Democrats’ effort to “win back the manosphere.” The operative ran through a list of a half dozen candidates in key House districts who “are engaging culturally in male spaces”—a bit of gobbledygook that I took to mean “manly men,” or perhaps “guy’s guys,” but that also reflects the sort of anthropological distance that points to the depth of the party’s problem. After all, an ironworker probably wouldn’t describe himself as “engaging culturally in male spaces.”

NYU scholar argues philosophical case against men competing in women sports

Called a ‘dictator’ for his position

Philosophy, not “empirical studies,” can prove why men should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports, according to a New York University scholar.

Professor Daniel Kodsi laid out his case in a new paper in the Journal of Controversial Ideas and expanded on his arguments in comments to The College Fix. The paper and comments came prior to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling affirming that states can prohibit gender-confused men from competing in women’s sports. 

Kodsi and his co-author, John Maier, wrote this paper based on a version of an amicus brief they helped write in the Supreme Court case.

The paper argues “that it is justified to exclude male people, and only male people, from certain spaces—sports teams, leagues, events and competitions—set aside for female athletes.”

“More generally, it argues that it is justified to organize sports around the biological distinction between male people and female people,” they wrote.

Kodsi told The Fix via email that his paper’s argument was not based on scientific studies, but solely on philosophical reasoning.

“A key point we attempt to drive home is that no ‘empirical studies’ are needed to establish that men who identify as women may justifiably be excluded from women’s sports, just as no empirical studies are needed to establish that adult athletes from Switzerland may justifiably be excluded from junior sports,” he said.

His argument is focused on promoting women’s rights within their sports, not motivated by unjust discrimination against men.

Transgender Person Who Fled the United States for the Netherlands Now Complains About Being Harassed by Muslims There

A transgender person who was born a male but now identifies as a woman, fled the United States of America for the Netherlands, apparently believing there would be greater freedom there. This same person was recently interviewed and complained about being harassed by Muslim migrants in the Dutch country.

How many times have we seen something like this before?

People on the left who flee the United States of America looking for something better, almost never find what they are seeking. In fact, they usually end up learning a hard lesson about how much better life is in the United States.

John Nolte writes at Breitbart News:

The Dutch town of Ter Apel has a population of just 10,000 and was just sabotaged by its own government.

Over 2,200 asylum seekers were dumped on this town, most of them young, Muslim men. The center used to house asylum seekers tops out at 2,000, so, according to local news reports, “between 40 and 100 asylum seekers have spent their days outside the centre.”

Naturally, this influx of hostile foreigners who are not interested in integrating has deteriorated conditions. Violence has become enough of a problem that the “Red Cross and the Dutch Council for Refugees… have withdrawn their aid workers from the grounds around the Ter Apel asylum reception after rising violence, culminating in two stabbings last week, have left the area too dangerous to continue operating in.”…

“It’s scary. It’s legitimately scary. I decided that my mental health is degrading so substantially, being here, that I just need to get out,” the dude in a dress said. “The situation I have in the U.S. as a trans person — not good, right? — but here I will be hurt or killed.”

Transgender DSA Member and Former AZ Democratic Party Vice Chair Arrested After Allegedly Breaking into Home Wielding Knife and Duct Tape – Claims He Was Roleplaying

A former Arizona congressional candidate and ex-Democratic Party leader was arrested last week on charges of felony burglary at an ex-partner’s home. 

The suspect, Brianna Westbrook, has run for federal and state offices, including a failed 2018 bid for US Congress and losses in Democratic primaries for the Arizona State Senate and Arizona House of Representatives in 2018 and 2022.

According to ballotready.org, Westbrook’s professional experience includes serving as the Southwest Regional Co-Chair of the Democratic Socialists of America Immigrant Rights National Working Group from 2019 to the present, and a past stint as Arizona Democratic Party Vice Chair from 2019 to 2021.

Westbrook was reportedly arrested after a former partner told the police that Westbrook allegedly “pushed her way” into the victim’s home, while carrying a knife and duct tape, according to 12 News Phoenix.

Following a struggle inside the home, Westbrook reportedly threatened the victim and another individual inside the home before Westbrook reportedly “took off running,” according to records.

According to court documents, officers found “a knife, tape, and gloves” after conducting a search.

Westbrook, however, told police it was a “big misunderstanding” and that they were acting out a role-playing scene, which the victim has denied.

Hilarious Video Resurfaces Showing Toronto Police “Combatting Transphobia” After Citizen Trolls “2SLGBTQ+ Liaison Officer” Driving Transgender Cop Car

The Toronto Police Department is coming under fire after a video resurfaced, in which they combat transphobia in response to a citizen trolling their trans-friendly police division. 

The video, titled “2SLGBTQ+ Liaison Officers Combatting Transphobia In Toronto,” was posted on the official Toronto Police channel in June 2024.

Sgt. Rob Chevalier, the Toronto Police 2SLGBTQI+ Liaison Officer, and a black man identified as “Nevada” are seen in the video discussing an incident where a driver pulled up to the Toronto Police pride SUV and trolled the duo.

Chevalier says he was assisting with a case, where Nevada was apparently a victim, and drove her home for her safety.

“He drove me home in the fabulous pride SUV, and as he was driving me home, we reached a stoplight, and then an individual in a pickup truck came up to us,” Nevada says before the video cuts to an Instagram video from the incident. The man pulls up to the car and asks, “Are you guys cops or you just identify as cops?”

Chevalier is seen asking the driver, “What does it look like I am?” and the driver hilariously responds, “I have no idea. Reality doesn’t exist anymore.” This apparently prompted the department to actually post a video of the exchange in an effort to combat “transphobia.”

“Part of me was shocked, but part of me was not shocked,” Nevada said of the event. “I am a trans woman; I’ve been transitioning for eight years. I get harassed and vilified every day of my life.”
