Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez Under Federal Investigation Again

Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) is under federal investigation again, according to a report.

Kadia Goba of the new digital media outlet Semafor reported that Southern District of New York prosecutors are investigating Melendez and “have sent at least one subpoena in the case.”

The prosecutor’s investigation reportedly stems from facts similar to a 2015 U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) case against Menendez and Democrat donor Salomon Melgen for conspiracy and bribery. Federal prosecutors ultimately dropped those charges against Menendez and Melgen.

As Goba explained, “it’s notable to see the Department of Justice return to Menendez after its humiliating public failure to convict him.”

Goba reported:

Menendez and a Florida eye doctor, Salomon Melgen, were indicted in 2015 for an alleged arrangement under which the doctor provided flights on a private jet and lavish vacations in exchange for the senator’s help with government contracts and other public favors. Menendez’s lawyers argued that the two men were simply good friends. The inquiry ended in a mistrial in 2017 after the jury failed to reach a verdict. (Melgen was convicted in 2017 of medicare fraud, and received clemency from President Donald Trump in 2021.)

The two people familiar with the investigation, one who is directly connected to the investigation and the other a New Jersey lawyer who has been told of the case, said that the broad outlines of the new inquiry are similar to the 2017 case. Both said that the new investigation involves an entirely different group of people, however.

Menendez’s office confirmed the senator is aware of the new investigation.

Menendez adviser Michale Soliman told Semafor:

Senator Menendez is aware of an investigation that was reported on today, however he does not know the scope of the investigation. As always, should any official inquiries be made, the Senator is available to provide any assistance that is requested of him or his office.

The Democrat senator is no stranger to being investigated by federal authorities. Nearly a decade ago, Breitbart News’s Matthew Boyle, who then worked for The Daily Caller, broke a story that Menendez solicited underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.

The DOJ found evidence that “corroborated” the allegations against Menendez years later.

Dem Congressman Says Arming Ukraine is About Protecting Woke Values

Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin has issued a statement saying ongoing military aid to Ukraine is essential because Russia is mean to gay and transgender people.

Yes, really.

Raskin released the statement after 30 “progressive” Democrats watered down their call for peace talks in a letter to Joe Biden.

Raskin (D-MD) is apparently concerned that any slide in support for Ukraine represents an abandonment of woke values

“Moscow right now is … a world center of antifeminist, antigay, anti-trans hatred, as well as the homeland of replacement theory for export,” said the statement.

Calling Vladimir Putin an “imperialist” and a “colonizer,” Raskin went on to demonize the entire country.

“Moscow right now is a hub of corrupt tyranny, censorship, authoritarian repression, police violence, propaganda, government lies and disinformation, and planning for war crimes … In supporting Ukraine, we are opposing these fascist views, and supporting the urgent principles of democratic pluralism. Ukraine is not perfect, of course, but its society is organized on the radically different principles of democracy and freedom,” the statement said.

As we have previously highlighted, the bizarre intersection of sending advanced weaponry to foreign conflicts in the name of defending far-left identity politics reared its head right at the start of the war.

Worthless House Progressives Retract Mild Peace Advocacy Under Pressure From Warmongers

The Congressional Progressive Caucus has retracted an extremely mild, toothless letter its members had written to President Biden politely asking him to consider adding a little diplomacy into the mix to help end the conflict in Ukraine. The retraction followed a deluge of public outrage against their slight deviation from the official imperial narrative.

If you actually read the original letter signed by House progressives including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Bowman and Ro Khanna, you will quickly see that it’s as innocuous and anodyne as any statement could possibly be while still containing words. It opens with effusive praise for Biden’s interventionism in Ukraine and condemns the Russian government unequivocally throughout, offering only the humble suggestion that he “pair the military and economic support the United States has provided to Ukraine with a proactive diplomatic push, redoubling efforts to seek a realistic framework for a ceasefire.” Its authors make it abundantly clear that they support making sure such diplomacy is agreeable to Ukraine at every step of the way.

This impotent nothing salad was bizarrely spun by The Washington Post as a call on Biden to “dramatically shift his strategy on the Ukraine war,” despite nothing that could be remotely construed as “dramatic” existing anywhere in the body of the text. The letter received backlash from warmongers in both parties, including from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. It was personally slammed by Bernie Sanders, the pope of American progressivism. Trolls and warmongers swarmed the social media notifications of every account which posted the letter in an official capacity, mindlessly bleating the words “appeasement” and “Chamberlain” in unison.

Schiff, Durbin ‘Demand’ That Google and YouTube Censor ‘Dangerous’ Incel Content

Congressman Adam Schiff and Senator Dick Durbin are “demanding” that the CEOs of Google’s parent company Alphabet and YouTube censor “extreme and harmful” incel content on their platforms.

Incel is a term used to describe someone who is involuntarily celibate.

The Democrat politicians cited a report from the far-left “Center for Countering Digital Hate” in their censorship demand.

The report claims that incel channels on YoutTube have accumulated more than 24 million views.

“The CCDH report makes clear that misogynist communities have created male-supremacist online spaces to promote their hateful and violent ideology, blaming women and minority groups for their problems. While incels have been described as loners or socially isolated, they in fact are embedded in highly active, densely-interconnected online communities that encourage and celebrate their horrific beliefs and acts,” the members wrote in a letter to the CEOs of Alphabet and YouTube, according to a press release.

According to the press release, Schiff and Durbin “specifically urge Alphabet and YouTube to remove content and channels that drive users toward harmful incel communities, and request additional information on what safety measures the platforms are implementing to protect users – particularly young users – and prevent violent content from proliferating.”

“We find all of this to be unacceptable and dangerous. Major social media platforms and search engines that claim to value safety should follow through with action,” the letter continued.

The letter was co-signed by Senators Bob Menendez and Mazie Hirono, and Representatives Hank Johnson, André Carson, Jackie Speier, Ed Case, Darren Soto, Lori Trahan, and Mondaire Jones — all of whom are Democrats.

A Student Was Sodomized With a Pole at His Public High School. This California Congressional Hopeful Rejected His Damages Claim.

As a school board member in Southern California, Democratic congressional hopeful Jay Chen voted to reject a damages claim from a high school student who was sodomized with a pole as part of a horrific hazing ritual.

Chen—who is now running for Congress in California’s 45th Congressional District—sat on the Hacienda La Puente school board during a high-profile hazing incident in 2011, which saw older members of a boys’ high school soccer team in the district sexually assault and sodomize their younger teammates with a sharp, javelin-like pole. In October 2012, one victim filed a claim for at least $25,000 against the district, alleging that Chen and other top officials failed to protect him. Chen led a motion to reject the claim in November 2012, board meeting minutes show.

The victim later detailed the brutal attack in a lawsuit against Chen’s district, which cited the initial damages claim. “Plaintiff and other varsity soccer players were victimized after being lured to the backroom … where athletic equipment was stored,” the suit stated. “Before the assault, the victim is asked whether he wants it ‘the easy way’ or ‘the hard way.’ The easy way meant that the victim would bend down and accept the sexual assault without resistance—while the hard way meant, upon resistance by the victim, he will be physically attacked by those present and forcefully have a foreign object inserted into his anus.”

Chen was explicitly mentioned in the lawsuit, which alleged that Chen knew or should have known of the “sexually abusive actions” and that the district “failed to protect” the victims. Chen’s district settled the suit just days before its scheduled trial date in March 2016. The attacks also led to felony assault convictions against three juveniles.

Doctor Featured In Dem Campaign Ad Killed Woman In Botched Abortion, Was Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Minor

Levy has already been responsible for at least one death following an abortion he performed, according to the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners (NSBME). His insurance settled for $20,000 after a woman died in 2007 due to a perforation of her uterus. In another instance, Levy’s insurance settled for $7,500 after a woman “suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to her labia and perineum from a hot weighted speculum used in surgery,” according to NSBME records.

Levy was also charged in 1998 with sexually assaulting a minor under the age of 16 and performing lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, according to documents obtained by The Nevada Globe. He submitted an Alford Plea in 1999 to child abuse and neglect, and was ordered to avoid contact with his victims, refrain from possessing pornography and child pornography and complete a sex offender treatment program. He also was sentenced to two years of probation.

Pests, Filth, and Killer Elevators: Inside Raphael Warnock’s Secret Low-Income Apartment Building

A low-income apartment building owned by Raphael Warnock’s church is plagued by pests, maintenance problems, and filth, according to residents—and at least two people have sued the building this year after the elevator allegedly collapsed on them.

Residents of the Columbia Tower at MLK Village complained about living conditions in the building, telling the Washington Free Beacon that garbage is left to pile up in the storage rooms for days, creating an “overwhelming trash smell,” common areas aren’t maintained, and the air vents produce a “sickening” amount of dust.

Tenants also said the elevators often break down, and handicapped residents have had to call the fire department to carry them to their rooms.

The allegations follow a Free Beacon report that found Columbia Tower had attempted to evict at least eight low-income residents over unpaid rent since the start of the pandemic—including one tenant who owed just $28. Warnock serves as senior pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, which, through a charity it controls called the Ebenezer Building Foundation, owns 99 percent of Columbia Tower, according to records obtained by the Free Beacon. It’s not clear what Warnock’s role was in overseeing Columbia Tower. A repair grant Ebenezer Building Foundation filed in June, however, said Warnock “works closely” with Ebenezer’s executive pastor “in managing the overall vision, ministries, and operations” of the church.

The news raises questions for Warnock, who has campaigned as an ally of low-income Georgians and people with disabilities. It could also draw new scrutiny to Warnock’s compensation from the church, which paid him a $7,417-per-month, tax-free housing allowance last year—an arrangement that allowed him to circumvent federal limits on outside income for U.S. senators.

Court filings reviewed by the Free Beacon appear to back up claims from Columbia Tower residents that there are problems with the living conditions at the building.

Virginia Democrat Plans Bill To Charge Parents Who Do Not Affirm Their Child’s Gender Identity

Radical progressive Virginia Democrat Delegate Elizabeth Guzman announced plans to introduce a bill in the Virginia Legislature where parents could face a felony or misdemeanor charge if they do not affirm their child’s sexual orientation and/or  gender identity. According to her website, “Elizabeth was inspired by Bernie Sanders’ call for everyday people to run for office, a decision that was cemented when Hillary Clinton lost and Elizabeth’s 9-year-old son said the family had to return to Peru ‘because Donald Trump doesn’t like people who speak Spanish.’ ”

The bill is in response to recent guidelines released by the state’s Department of Education saying that sports teams should be based on biological sex and is focused heavily on parental rights.

The policies under Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin are sharp contrast to the 2021 guidance issued by former Democratic Governor Ralph Northam’s administration.

Colorado GOP Calls for Democrat Adam Frisch to Withdraw from Race After Blackmail Story

The Colorado Republican Party has called for Democrat Adam Frisch, who is running against Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) in the Centennial State’s Third Congressional District, to drop out of the race following the “unacceptable facts” of blackmail exposed by Breitbart News.

Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown released a statement Thursday morning stating:

Today, I’m calling on Adam Frisch, commonly known as ‘Aspen Adam’, to do the honorable thing and withdraw from this Congressional race. Any elected official who has made themselves subject to blackmail can’t be an effective representative for Colorado families. While many things within this story are disturbing, it’s clear to most that Adam does not have the temperament, the morals, the backbone, or the judgement needed to be a successful elected official. We need elected officials who are working for Colorado families, not trying to protect themselves from criminal positions they put themselves in.

The GOP chairwoman noted that she would “hope Colorado Democrat Chairwoman Morgan Carroll will join [her] in doing the right thing and publicly call on Mr. Frisch to withdraw from this race.”

Burton Brown was referring to the recent article by Breitbart News’s Matthew Boyle, showing a man who owned a taxi service and storage facility in Aspen, Colorado, claiming to have blackmailed the high-profile Democrat congressional candidate with surveillance footage of him showing up to a storage unit facility to allegedly have an affair.
