Bodyguard For Anti-Gun Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor Shoots At Would-Be Carjacker

Bodyguards for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor fired shots at an attempted carjacker on Friday outside her northwest DC home, according to a spokesperson for the US Marshals Service.

The perp, 18-year-old Kentrell Flowers, suffered non-fatal injuries and was taken to a local hospital following the incident.

“The Deputy U.S. Marshals involved in the shooting incident were part of the unit protecting the residences of U.S. Supreme Court justices. As a general practice, the U.S. Marshals don’t discuss specifics of protective details,” said US Marshals Service spokeswoman Abigail Meyer in a statement.

As the Daily Caller reports:

Kentrell Flowers allegedly approached and pointed a handgun at a car belonging to one of two deputy U.S. Marshals in separate vehicles protecting Sotomayor’s residence around 1:15 a.m., according to a press release from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Flowers first exited a vehicle before threatening the U.S. Marshal at the 2100 block of 11th Street, the press release stated. The U.S. Marshal fired several shots at the 18-year-old suspect with the help of his U.S. Marshal colleague, who also drew and fired his service weapon from a separate vehicle.

Flowers was arrested and charged with armed carjacking, carrying a pistol without a license and possession of a large-capacity ammunition feeding device, according to the press release.

Nigerian Migrant Stabs Police Officers, Is Released, Attacks Another, Is Released AGAIN

This story sums up the complete state of lawlessness Germany finds itself in because of unchecked mass migration.

Quoting the German Bild Newspaper, Remix News notes that a Nigerian migrant carried out three different attacks in the space of less than 24 hours including trying to snatch a child, as well as attacking and stabbing multiple police officers.

Yet somehow, the man is still free, even after being arrested after each incident.

The report notes “On Friday, at 12:45 p.m., the man grabbed a 9-year-old boy at the main station in Karlsruhe in the state of Baden-Würtemberg, located in the southwest of Germany. Police intervened to save the boy, and the African man bit one of the officers, while three police suffered abrasions during the scuffle.”

It continues, “Then, 13 hours later, the same man wanted to travel without a ticket and got on a night train at 1:50 a.m. When police officers confronted him over his illegal action, the situation quickly escalated.”

The article further explains that “The man put up considerable resistance and repeatedly stabbed the officers from behind with the blade of a cutter knife, said a police spokeswoman. One of the officers was stabbed in the head, arm and hand, while another officer was cut on his leg. Both police officers were treated in the hospital and are unable to work while they recover from their injuries.”

Then comes the kicker.

“Despite attempts to charge the man, the public prosecutor released the Nigerian.”

Boeing Pleads Guilty To Fraud As Effort To Bring Manufacturing In-House Proceeds With Acquisition Of Spirit Aerosystems

The story behind Boeing guilty plea today is the effort to bring its manufacturing futher ‘in-house’ after a disastrous focus on financial profitability, and not its core-competency – building airplanes.

The acquisition of ‘Spirit Aerosystems’, which made the door which failed during an Alaskan Airlines flight, and a major subcontractor for Boeing, continues.

Boeing agreed to plead guilty to a conspiracy fraud charge tied to the 737 Max crashes.

Under the deal, Boeing agreed to pay a $243.6 million fine and for an third-party monitor to be installed to monitor the company’s compliance, reported CNBC.

The deal spares Boeing from a trial just as the plane maker is trying to turn a corner in its safety and manufacturing crises.

The guilty plea would brand the planemaker a felon and could complicate its ability to sell products to the U.S. government. About 32% of Boeing’s nearly $78 billion in revenue last year came from its defense, space and security unit.

Three female nursing home workers arrested for ‘taking sexualized photos of elderly patients and their dead bodies’

Three female nursing home workers have been arrested for the appalling crime of  taking overtly sexual photos of the dead elderly patients bodies.

The revolting behavior at the Golden Age Nursing Facility in Guthrie, Oklahoma came to light in April when a former employee alerted the Guthrie Police Department.

‘Some employees were involved in sending some inappropriate pictures of their patients, we found pictures of some deceased persons,’ Sweger told KFOR. ‘We found some pictures of the suspects playing in pubic hair.’

The three suspects facing elderly abuse charges are 21-year-old Jade Williams, 21-year-old Aubrey Granata and 20-year-old McKenzie Bolfa.

‘They had excuses for some of their behavior, but it didn’t really match up with the evidence that we had uncovered,’ said Sweger.

According to court documents, the three women exchanged Snapchats of the elderly patients between each other.

One video reportedly showed an elderly resident in bed, wearing only a shirt and diaper, with fecal matter on his socks and on the bedding.

‘It’s probably one of the saddest things,’ said Sweger. ‘We take service to everybody very responsibly, but especially for those who don’t have a voice for themselves.’

Investigators reportedly found another video depicting a male resident lying on his stomach, unclothed from the waist down.

REVEALED: Venezuelan Illegal Who Raped and Murdered 12-Year-Old Jocelyn Nungaray is Son of Maduro Regime Official

The illegal alien from Venezuela charged with the rape and murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray is the son of a former Maduro regime official.

Johan Jose Martinez Rangel, 22, is one of two men accused of Nungaray’s murder in Houston, Texas last month.

Yet it has now been revealed that he is the son of a former official for Venezuela’s socialist regime, making his illegal entry into the United States all the more egregious.

Mail Online reports:

Following Martinez Rangel’s arrest, Venezuelans from his home state of Guarico began flagging on social media that his mother Nazareth Rangel Palacios is a staunch supporter of Nicolas Maduro and served as a councilwoman for his party.

Venezuela’s electoral registry shows Martinez Rangel and Rangel Palacios share the same address in San Juan de Los Morros.

Rangel Palacios was a vocal militant for the ruling party, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, and was photographed with her son in pro-government events until he left the country in about 2018.

Rangel Martinez and Franklin Pena, 26, are accused of luring Nungaray to an area underneath a bridge before raping and murdering her. They later dumped her body in a creek.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit this week, the murder rate in socialist Venezuela has fallen to a 22-year-low as violent criminals have fled the country in search of fresh opportunities.

Gullibility 101

We watch Washington D.C. like we’d watch a ship steaming way too fast toward a crowd on the pier.  Our nation’s capital is so filled with corruption, ladder-climbing, and plain stupidity that it’s embarrassing to watch. This is America?!?

Yet the Democrats we know personally are not guilty of those sins. Many are smart, hard-working, kind, educated people and yet they voted for the wasted shell in the oval office — a man who is not only suffering from dementia, but has never been very bright, or very good. A lot of these lovely people appear to be planning to vote for him again. How can that be? How can even a third of our compatriots think Biden is okay? I believe it to be one of the most startling paradoxes of our time. These proud, sophisticated, overeducated folks are, unlike the power brokers of the party, simply naive. They’re hopelessly gullible. How they can possibly be both — naïve and sophisticated — is beyond me. For these lefty-leanies, the Brooklyn Bridge is always for sale at half price and someone else will pick up the difference. Let us list the facets of the Democrat fairytale:

  1. They assume that other people are just like them — hardworking, clean, healthy, nice, fun-loving. It just doesn’t occur to them that the man dragging two kids across the border isn’t their father and is only interested in selling them. The fact that most of these illegals are young men of military age doesn’t ring any bells for the average Democrat. Somehow the only reaction to these intruders is to feel sorry for them — not to be cautious about their motives, or to be concerned about what diseases they may carry or where their education stopped.
  2. They think people are what they portray themselves to be. To them, there is no angry, sexually abused, misfit of a young man behind the exuberant makeup and the green sequined dress. From their point of view, college professors are wise, good, and superior and have no intention of disabusing your child of his upbringing. No priest or Boy Scout leader has any perverse designs on your kids. How cynical to suspect that they’re anything other than caring and compassionate. Ambrose Bierce, in his hilarious book The Devil’s Dictionary, defines cynic as a person “who sees things as they really are.” Then I guess I’m a cynic. Won’t you join me?
  3. This attitude slithers out from the left’s assumption that there is basically no evil, no sin, that people are all basically good (except Republicans, of course). A middle-class leftist can look at a drag queen reading to three-year-olds and not see anything perverse and nasty. A thief is just someone overreacting to some 200-year-old atrocity done to someone else’s ancestor. A rapist just needs counseling. The 85,000 missing kids? Oh look! There’s a squirrel!
  4. Speaking of naivete — this one is a doozy. These fanciful folk think that a law passed is a law obeyed — to the letter. Don’t like guns? Ban them and they will be no more. In fact, there will be no more violence. Look at what happened with bipartisan Prohibition — did everyone just suck it up and quit drinking? No. The Mafia was born.

Palm Beach judge releases grand jury records from 2008 Jeffrey Epstein case

On Monday afternoon, a Florida judge released transcripts from a grand jury investigation into allegations of sex trafficking and rape involving Jeffrey Epstein, the late millionaire financier.

In his order, Judge Delgado referred to Epstein as “the most infamous pedophile in American history.” “For almost 20 years, the story of how Jeffrey Epstein victimized some of Palm Beach County’s most vulnerable has been the subject of much anger and has at times diminished the public’s perception of the criminal justice system,” Delgado said.

The judge had initially planned a hearing for next week to determine the timing and method of release. Governor Ron DeSantis had previously signed a bill in February authorizing the release on Monday or at any time designated by Circuit Judge Luis Delgado, US News reported.

The records span nearly 200 pages and include testimony from at least one victim who was molested by Epstein. He was a New York financier who allegedly assaulted underage girls at his Palm Beach mansion for decades.

Epstein managed to avoid serious charges, partly because the Palm Beach prosecutor at the time, Barry Krischer, chose to charge him with minor prostitution offenses instead of pursuing a felony sexual assault case.

Mayorkas must hand over docs on illegal migrants accused of heinous crimes, including disabled teen’s rape, NYPD mob attack: House subpoena

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was hit with a House Judiciary Committee subpoena Friday demanding he produce long-awaited records on nine migrants suspected of sickening crimes, including the rape of a disabled teen girl and a mob assault on two NYPD cops.

DHS must hand over documents on the accused criminals by 9 a.m. on July 17, according to documents exclusively obtained by The Post.

“Your response, to date, without compulsory process has been inadequate,” Committee Chairman Rep. Him Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote in the filing’s scathing cover letter.

Jordan accused Mayorkas of deliberately dragging his feet “for months on end” as the committee made repeated requests for information starting in October 2023.

“Accordingly, nine A-files prioritized by the Committee — in addition to three A-Files the Department is compelled to produce pursuant to the Committee’s December 8, 2023, subpoena — remain outstanding,” Jordan wrote, referring to a list of 20 priority cases given to Mayorkas’ agency on April 11.

Shocking: Haitian Who Entered US on Biden’s ‘Parole Program’ and Was Indicted For Raping Disabled Child in Massachusetts Freed on Paltry $500 Bail

The Gateway Pundit reported on the shocking allegations of the rape of a 15-year-old disabled girl by a Haitian man at a migrant hotel in Massachusetts earlier this year.

26-year-old Cory Alvarez, who came to the US on Joe Biden’s parole program for Haitians, was arrested and charged with child rape at a hotel used to house Joe Biden’s ‘migrants’ and illegal aliens.

A grand jury indicted Alvarez on one count each of Aggravated Rape of a Child with 10-Year Age Difference and Rape of a Child by Force.

Now, in a shocking move, and despite a request from federal immigration officials to keep him in jail, Alvarez was freed on Tuesday on a paltry $500 bail after the Plymouth County Superior Court ignored a request from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to keep the suspect in custody, according to the Boston Herald reported.

The New York Post reports:

Our office moved to hold a dangerousness hearing and have Alvarez held without bail. The judge denied our motion,” a spokesperson for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office told The Post Friday.

“We then requested that Alvarez be held on $10,000 cash bail with numerous conditions of release. The judge set bail at $500,” they explained.

Alvarez, 26, was released with an ankle monitor, but ICE officials can’t track him because Boston is a sanctuary city — meaning local authorities don’t have to cooperate with the feds.

The suspect has been ordered to remain in home confinement and told to check in twice a month with probation before his court day on August 13 was also ordered to remain in home confinement, according to legal filings obtained by the Globe.

Judge Susan Sullivan, who set the low bail,  said at Alvarez’s dangerousness hearing that his lack of a criminal record and the low likelihood he would be able to flee helped lead to her decision.

She further claimed the state had not met the “clear and convincing” legal threshold required to deny his bail request.

Clarence Thomas appears open to making drug addiction illegal

U.S. Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas identified a previous ruling that he would like to upend.

The conservative majority sided with an Oregon city that prohibited unhoused people from sleeping on public land, and Thomas said in his opinion in the case that he would like to “dispose” of a 1962 ruling that struck down a California law that criminalized being addicted to narcotics, reported Newsweek.

“In an appropriate case, the Court should certainly correct this error,” Thomas wrote.

The court relied on that decades-old ruling in Robinson v. California to decide that penalizing homeless people for sleeping on the streets when no other shelter was available did not violate the Eighth Amendment prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment.
