As the Right Panics Over ‘Marxists,’ Their Own Leaders Are Openly Seizing the Means of Production

House Speaker Mike Johnson recently took to social media to broadcast an apocalyptic warning, screaming that “the barbarians are inside the gate” and claiming Congress is locked in a life-or-death battle to stop America from sliding down a “dark road of death to communism.” It is the classic, time-tested political playbook used by the establishment for decades to keep the populace paralyzed and compliant. They invent a terrifying, existential boogeyman, claim they are the only thing standing between the voters and total destruction, and hope nobody notices that their own team is running the exact same racket.

This latest iteration of the Red Scare, spearheaded by Donald Trump and his neoconservative cheerleaders, is a masterclass in psychological projection designed to keep the masses blind to a deeply uncomfortable truth. The real threat to economic freedom in America isn’t some foreign Marxist vanguard hiding in the shadows. It is the bipartisan, corporate-state cabal that has already replaced voluntary exchange with top-down central planning while wrapping it tightly in an American flag.

While the political Right whips its base into a frenzy over the creeping threat of left-wing Marxism, the very same “America First” politicians are quietly executing a hostile takeover of the free market. The State operates on an inherent double standard, unapologetically claiming that it is illegal for you to commit murder or theft, while it continuously wages wars that slaughter tens of thousands of innocents and extorts half your income through taxation. That staggering hypocrisy is currently on full display in the realm of economics, where the establishment campaigns on capitalism while ruling as command-economy despots.

During his first term, Trump frequently bypassed market mechanisms entirely, using protectionist tariffs to pick economic winners and losers before doling out a staggering $23 billion in taxpayer-funded farm bailouts to clean up the resulting economic carnage. A comprehensive study by the Cato Institute reveals that the federal government now spends over $181 billion annually on corporate welfare. This massive redistribution of wealth has only grown exponentially under both the Biden and Trump 2.0 administrations, forcing everyday taxpayers to underwrite corporate failures and subsidize favored industries.

The reality of the current administration is a clear line toward what can only be described as corporatism — the merger of corporate and state — marking a radical break from any semblance of a free market. Since taking office in 2025, the administration has weaponized the federal government to directly insert itself into corporate boardrooms. In a move that would make Benito Mussolini jealous, they have abandoned temporary bailouts for proactive, creeping socialism, using taxpayer funds to acquire financial equity stakes in 28 private companies over the past year and a half.

When Socialists Tell You Who They Are, Believe Them

In a Zoom video call in 2023, a leader of the Democratic Socialists of America said, “Our goal is communism.”  It was published as part of a compilation in April 2026.

None of the Democratic Socialists disavowed it.  Nobody posted a “clarifying statement” distancing the DSA from that statement.

So that’s who they are.  Their goal is communism.

The name of that leader is David Jenkins.  He’s a member of the DSA’s National Political Committee, so he ought to know.  

He told us who they are, so we should believe him.

Extreme leftist candidates (including DSA candidates) from past elections include

  • AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ro Khanna, Ilhan Omar, and Pramila Jayapal.
  • Cory Booker, Ayanna Pressley, Bernie Sanders, and Cori Bush.

Extreme leftist DSA candidates who have popped up in the current cycle:

  • James Talarico in the Senate, who has embraced every nutball LGBTQ/trans theory on the planet, wrapped up in a sugary faux Christian coating.
  • Graham Platner was also running for Senate, after everyone knew about his Nazi tattoo, his active social media account at a site notorious for pedophiles chatting with little kids, and multiple credible allegations from conservative ex-girlfriends.  Platner was finally taken down by another credible allegation, this time from a liberal ex.
  • In the House, a whole tribe of new candidates, including a sociology Ph.D. candidate who started a new “Death to America” campus club, a former associate of the “Blind Sheikh” who masterminded an early bombing attack on the World Trade Center (WTC), and people who think we deserved 9/11.

When people tell you who they are, believe them.

Their strategy is to primary more moderate Dems and take as many of the Democrats’ “safe seats” as possible.  In such races, any actual competition is purely intramural, between Democrat factions.  Republicans always lose these races in November, and sometimes they don’t even bother to run a candidate.  The real battle is the Democrats’ primary.

Cori Bush is the only one from the initial DSA wave of 2016–2022 who “washed out,” by winning primaries for a few years, then losing one to a mainstream Dem.  Clearly, she’s being candid about her DSA identity while she’s trying to get back into House of Representatives.

Recently, her campaign posted a group photo from a July 8 meeting of the St. Louis DSA chapter, showing her next to a communist “influencer” named Christopher Winston.  He calls himself “BlackRedGuard” online and identifies as a Maoist.

This guy thinks landlords should be shot.  He’s suggested he would “execute” a political rival.

Winston can be seen standing next to Bush with a shirt reading “armed minorities.” …

“I’m so proud to have DSA by my side, united in our fight against price gouging, big real estate, and billionaires influencing our politics,” [Bush] said. …

During a stream in March 2024, Winston said that “we’re going to execute you after the revolution” in response to a video leftist activist Shaun King made discussing fraud accusations. Winston said that he hoped that cancer “eats” King’s “a**hole out” and called him an “albino snake.”

In other appearances, Winston argued that “burning a Waymo is not political violence” and argued that landlords should be greeted by “a strongly worded letter in the form of a very hot piece of metal.” …

In other statements, Winston pledged to seize homes from landowners and argued that “the ultimate form of international solidarity is to make revolution in the United States.”

“Communists don’t want to take away your house. We’ll cancel your mortgage. You can have one house, not a dozen. Excess properties will be taken from landlords and distributed to actual families to live in,” he said in one recent post.

When they honestly tell you such things about themselves, believe them.

None of these people thinks America’s institutions have a right to exist in their present form.  America’s institutions, they say, must be torn down and rebuilt into a more diverse socialist/DIE paradise.  These are people who think the destruction of the WTC on 9/11 was not only well deserved, but necessary.  And they think borders shouldn’t exist.

To illustrate this glorious revolutionary mindset, they’re whining about Elon Musk being the world’s first trillionaire.  But I don’t think they would have objected if Hunter Biden had been the world’s first trillionaire.  They have zero interest in cleaning up any of the fraud, greed, waste, graft, and corruption among Democrats.

None of these people thinks Israel has a right to exist at all.  Every square inch of Israel, they say, belongs to the glorious and noble Palestinian people, represented by Hamas and Hezb’allah.  And we found out on October 7, 2023 how that would end.

Cori Bush and other DSA luminaries haven’t distanced themselves from any of Winston’s statements, or challenged the authenticity of that Jenkins video clip.  Their goal is communism.

Lenin’s New Economic Policy: When the Soviets Admitted Socialism Doesn’t Work

A century ago, the Mother Ship of Socialism—the Soviet Union—was teetering on the precipice. The Poles had just vanquished the hopes of dictator Vladimir Lenin to sweep across Europe. Under the bludgeon of Marxist central planning, the economy had collapsed to a fraction of its pre-war dimensions. The country was seething in discontent. Insurrection seemed imminent. Indeed, the month of March 1921 had begun with hungry Soviet soldiers and sailors mounting the Kronstadt Rebellion against the Bolshevik regime.

What was Lenin’s remedy for his unfolding socialist catastrophe? It wasn’t more socialism, at least for the moment. That would be like chasing a glass of tainted water with a gallon of Clorox. Desperate to reverse the consequences of socialism, Lenin turned to their only known antidote—capitalism.

Sunday marked the 100th anniversary of the start of Lenin’s New Economic Policy (NEP). In a stunning about-face on March 21, 1921, the NEP began undoing the previous four years. Expropriation of businesses and the nationalization of industries stopped. Lenin proclaimed a partial restoration of, in his own words, “a free market and capitalism.” Even state-owned firms would seek to operate on a “profit” basis. Individuals could own small enterprises again. Market prices would be permitted in place of state directives.

A little bit of freedom goes a long way. In this instance, it turned the economy around and saved the infant Bolshevik tyranny. But it did not last long. Three years later, Lenin would be dead. Before the end of the decade, Stalin obliterated the NEP with a massive collectivist campaign to re-socialize the economy. Of the NEP, former US national security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote in his 1989 book, The Grand Failure, “For many Russians, even more than sixty years later, these were the best years of the era ushered in by the revolution of 1917.”

On that March day in 1921, the very day winter bowed to spring, the socialists in Moscow effectively admitted they had to stop stealing. There just was not much left to steal. In a 1990 article, economist Peter Boettke cited a litany of mea culpas from leading Soviet intellectuals, including a most revealing tribute to free market economist Ludwig von Mises from socialist architect Nikolai Bukharin. He grudgingly admitted that Mises’s devastating critique of socialism made him “one of the most learned critics.”

REPORT: Over 10,000 Christians Arrested in China as Xi Jinping’s Communist Regime Escalates Religious Crackdown

Christians across Communist China are being arrested, detained and effectively “disappeared” for worshipping outside state-controlled churches, according to a major investigation by The Telegraph.

The report details accounts from underground Christians who say police have raided homes in the middle of the night, separated families and imprisoned pastors as the regime intesifies its campaign against independent religious groups.

One Christian identified only as “TJ” recalled police smashing into his home before dragging away his wife.

“They grabbed my clothes and grabbed my hands so I couldn’t move. I could hear my daughter crying so much in the room next door but I couldn’t go to her, I couldn’t hug my wife.”

His wife remains in custody, according to The Telegraph.

China officially permits Christianity only through churches controlled by the Communist Party, where congregations are expected to display portraits of Xi Jinping and demonstrate loyalty to the regime.

Church in China Announces Massive Government Raid, Almost Three Dozen Christians Detained

Early Rain Covenant Church in Sichuan Province, China, announced a massive raid that resulted in almost three dozen of their members being detained.

The church said in a statement published by China Aid that around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, between 60 and 70 government agents disrupted their in-person worship gathering.

SWAT teams, police, local officials, and bureaucrats “stormed the venue and forcibly took control of the gathering.”

Two hours after the raid started, the communist officials started hauling away Christians in groups, with 33 total believers detained.

Most of them were transferred to Jiangyou City’s centralized registration center and detention facility.

Before letting anyone leave — including elderly people and children — police made them agree to sign a “guarantee letter.”

Some of the attendees agreed.

“However, officials refused to disclose the contents of the statement until individuals agreed to sign it. Because most believers refused to sign, they were never shown the document,” the statement said.

“Faced with pressure to sign an unknown statement, the congregation chose to remain peacefully and steadfastly in the hall,” the statement continued.

By the end of the day, between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., most of the Christians were released from the Jiangyou detention center one at a time.

But Elder Yan Hong and Elder Wu Wuqing remained in custody.

“As the released believers emerged from behind the detention center walls, they gathered closely together, offering prayers of thanksgiving and entrusting one another to God’s care. In the early hours of the morning, they accompanied one another on the journey back to Chengdu,” the church added.

“We thank the Lord for using this trial once again to bear witness to the Christian faith before many who have not yet heard the Gospel. Though the world may regard such experiences as shameful, we count them as an honor and a privilege.”

Early Rain Covenant Church, a Reformed Presbyterian congregation, previously made international headlines after their pastor, Wang Yi, was detained in 2018 and forced to endure a secret trial in 2019.

He remains in prison and is carrying out a nine-year sentence.

The Commies Are Coming! The Israel Factor Behind the New Red Scare

In June, a slew of progressive Democrats won primaries in some cases upending incumbents with long careers in Washington. Following in the footsteps Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral victory in New York City in 2025, Brad Lander, Claire Valdez, and Darializa Avila Chevalier bested their opponents and in the case of Lander and a Chevalier, defeated sitting House members.

Meanwhile, in Colorado, 29-year-old Merat Kiros beat 30-year House incumbent Dianne DeGette in their Democratic primary. So what is the through line here? Israel. All have criticized the war in Gaza and pledged not to take money from AIPAC or vote for more military aid for Israel.

These current political events encapsulate a party enmeshed in inner turmoil. While party leaders and the consultant class want to ignore it, ordinary voters, especially Democrats, have been turning against Israel over its war in Gaza, the annexation and settler violence in the West Bank and its expansionist policies in Lebanon and Syria. This, many say, cost them the presidency in 2024.

On the other hand, while the progressive wing, many of whom are carrying the mantle of the Democratic Socialists of America, are gaining traction, the MAGA movement is struggling to reconcile President Trump’s war and the fraught economy at home. Many on the Right, too, are blaming the Israeli government’s zeal for conflict and its grip on Trump’s foreign policy and say this is far from “America First.”

To keep these two factions from working together, Trump and the Republicans have exhumed the Cold War era “Red Scare” against the upstart progressives. It’s an age old wedge — the Commies are coming! Will it work?

IT’S A REAL MYSTERY: CNN Host Wonders Why Republicans Are Describing DSA Members as Communists

Last week, Kaitlan Collins of CNN claimed that DSA members are not communists. This week, another CNN host is openly wondering why Republicans are calling DSA members communists.

How are these media people so incredibly misinformed? Or are they just lying to cover for the DSA? Maybe a bit of both.

In the clip below, host Audie Cornish says that Republicans are skipping over criticism of socialism and going right to communism. Maybe because that’s what the DSA people themselves keep saying out loud.

On Tuesday’s CNN This Morning, the short morning show focused heavily on the trials and tribulations of the Democratic Socialists of America and their rise, with candidates being nominated across the country, including in NYC last week and possibly in Colorado this week. In one of many segments on socialism and the Democrat Party, Cornish asked her panel about GOP’s labeling of the DSA as communists and said, “Do you think it’s weird they’re skipping straight to communism?”…

After a soundbite played from a Chevliar love-fest on MS NOW last week, USA Today White House Correspondent Francesca Chambers returned to comments President Trump made on the “threat of communism,” which led to Cornish to respond as she posed a question to the group: “Do you think it’s weird they’re skipping straight to communism?”

Cornish then showed a graph of the unpopularity of socialism, which she said showed, “Americans in general don’t view it all that much better than they did in 2010,” before she returned to question the use of “communism”:

And I just wonder why you can’t just critique socialism as is, and you have to go straight to communism?

While Kaitlan Collins Claims Democratic Socialists Aren’t Communists, Clip Resurfaces of DSA National Leader Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud: “Our Goal is Communism”

As the fake news media and the Democratic Party try to claim that its far-left Democratic Socialist wing does not represent communism, a clip has resurfaced showing a top Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) leader openly admitting “Our goal is Communism”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins went on air on Friday and blasted Trump for saying that the Democratic Socialists are “the most serious threat to our country since its existence.” She described his comments as “border apocalyptic,” while insisting that the Democratic Socialists of America are not actually Communists.

“While Democrats themselves have been wrestling with what Tuesday night means for the direction of their party, socialism, much less democratic socialism, is not Communism,” Collins said.

However, a clip has resurfaced, showing DSA National Leader David Jenkins debunking her claims by literally admitting that the goal of the DSA is “Communism.”

A compilation of Jenkins’s previous remarks shows him saying on a Zoom call, “Our goal is liberation. Our goal is Communism.” It is unclear when the clip was recorded.

The video goes on to feature Jenkins’s greatest hits, including calling to defund the police at a New York City budget hearing, admitting that he aligns with Marxism, admitting he was present at the January 6 protests as a “counterprotester,” and spewing violent rhetoric.

DOJ Grand Jury Probes Neville Roy Singham’s Marxist NGO Empire: Report

Perhaps we are finally learning why President Trump has taken to Truth Social in recent days to blast the socialists and Marxists who are transforming the Democratic Party into an anti-American movement that seeks to end capitalism and the Western world.

The party’s leftward drift became so glaring last week that even top Democrats were forced onto mainstream media to address the party’s dangerous shift toward the far-left.

The timing of Trump’s Truth Social posts suggests the president may have been briefed on a federal grand jury probe in Manhattan examining alleged financial crimes tied to far-left, China-based tech financier Neville Roy Singham, who has reportedly funneled hundreds of millions of dollars into left-wing nonprofits, media operations, and activist networks that seek to sow chaos and spread communism inside the US.

Fox News’ Asra Nomani reports that on Monday, U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton for the Southern District of New York, authorized by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, is examining whether Singham, NGOs he funded, or their leaders committed wire fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes.

Is This Beijing’s 9/11 Moment?

The Chinese Communist Party has always insisted its leaders are humble servants of the people. Selfless. Frugal. Living only to serve the masses. Xi Jinping’s father tended pigs in one of Mao’s campaigns. Xi himself spent years in a cave. (We’re all the heroes of our own origin story.)

But soon, the world may get the truth.

A U.S. intelligence law now requires the Director of National Intelligence, the Secretary of State, and the Secretary of Defense to produce a report and post it publicly online before December 2026. It will detail the personal wealth, financial holdings, and business interests of Xi Jinping and the rest of the Politburo Standing Committee. And not just the top seven. The full Politburo. The 25 most powerful communists on Earth. Their fortunes will laid out for everyone to see.

Here’s why that matters. A 2024 Congressional Research Service report already estimated Xi’s family had amassed at least $376 million in investments, including an indirect 18% stake in a rare-earth company worth more than $311 million, plus roughly $707 million in hidden wealth tucked among relatives. Most of it was parked with his sister, her husband, and their daughter. Funny how that works.

And that’s the lowball estimate. Back in 2012, the New York Times documented $2.7 billion in hidden riches held by the family of then-Premier Wen Jiabao. China’s response? It blocked the Times’ website for years, an action that I think proved that the report was definitely totally baseless.

But I mean, so what if Xi Jinping’s family is worth over a billion dollars, right? Doesn’t America have its own billionaire leader? One who’s absolutely not ashamed to brag about how “really rich” he is?

Yes, but it’s not the same. Not when Xi Jinping claims to be a humble servant of the people. At least Trump never claimed that.

A China commentator called this wealth the Communist Party’s “Achilles’ heel.” And he’s right. The CCP’s entire claim to legitimacy rests on the fiction that its leaders are humble men of the people. The whole con collapses the second ordinary Chinese citizens see how staggeringly rich their “servants” really are.

Which brings us to the catch. The intelligence community has dragged its feet on this same thing before: This report was supposed to be published a year ago, and it was. And IT SUCKED. It was released in March 2025 (shortly after Trump took office), and it was only four pages long. It barely mentioned Xi Jinping, and didn’t try to dig very hard into the investments he’d supposedly divested from. Very disappointing.

So will the real report actually land in December? Will it have teeth? Or will it be four more pages of stuff people already knew?
