Bill Gates Laments First Amendment Strength on “Misinformation,” Advocates For Digital ID

Microsoft Founder Bill Gates has voiced concerns about the intersection between technology and speech, particularly criticizing the limitations he perceives the First Amendment’s free speech protections impose on combating online “misinformation.”

Gates erroneously cited the example that shouting “fire” in a crowded theater is an exception to free speech protections, a misrepresentation that has been clarified legally over time to be more nuanced in its application.

The technology magnate is grappling with what he believes to be the threats of misinformation and the technological phenomena of deepfakes.

In his discussions, particularly highlighted in an upcoming Netflix series and through dialogue with Stanford experts, Gates advocates for digital IDs to verify online identities to help curb this “misinformation.”

The Gates Foundation has donated money to digital ID projects in the pastusing parts of Africa as a testing ground.

Gates’ proposed approach ostensibly aims to curb the spread of fake content and ensure that only verified individuals can publish information which means that online content can be matched to real-life identities.

However, this raises significant concerns about privacy and the potential for excessive surveillance and control over digital spaces, something Gates has never been too keen to defend.

“The US is a tough one because we have the notion of the First Amendment and what are the exceptions like yelling ‘fire’ in a theater,” Gates explained, as reported by CNET.

Gates’ commentary on the First Amendment, using the flawed “fire in a theater” analogy suggests a readiness to dilute foundational free speech principles to implement digital solutions.

Elon Connects the Dots in Dems’ Election Fraud Plot, and He’s 100% Spot-on

If you claim you want to save “precious democracy,” shouldn’t securing elections be the number one priority? Because without secure elections, there is no “precious democracy” to even save, right? This should be the question every media hack grills the Dems on, over and over again—but they never will. Why? Because, let’s face it, they’re just a weaponized arm of the Dem Party, here to do their bidding. The truth is, nobody in this country works harder to turn our elections into a chaotic free-for-all than the Democrats. They don’t even want basic security measures like photo ID. They fight tooth-and-nail against it. As a matter of fact, they work to make sure illegals get what they need to actually vote.

Meanwhile, nearly every American and their brother has an ID, so why are Dems so dead-set against a simple step that would make our elections more secure? The answer’s obvious: they want illegals and other left-wing foreigners on visas to feel free to vote without the hassle of proving who they are. You need an ID to get a membership at a tanning salon, but not to pick the next leader of the free world. Makes sense, right?

MSNBC calls for boycott of social media platform X, contributor calls for Elon Musk’s prosecution

MSNBC has called for a boycott against the social media platform X, claiming that its owner, Elon Musk, has pushed misinformation relating to the upcoming election.

An opinion piece published by MSNBC calling for the boycott cited a recent report by the nonprofit Center for Countering Digital Hate which claimed to have identified 50 instances where Musk posted false claims about the election. The MSNBC piece also accused Musk of amplifying conspiracy theories and anti-Semitism.

“If every moderate-to-liberal human and organization stopped using the site, that might pressure Musk or his board of directors to stop weaponizing it,” the opinion, written by journalist Jay Michaelson, argued.

“It isn’t even a boycott. Leaving X isn’t like boycotting Coors because it’s too right-wing or Bud Light because it’s too left-wing. Those boycotts are fine — that’s part of capitalism too — but X is different in kind. Because unlike beer, the X product itself is the problem,” Michaelson added.

A recent guest on MSNBC also commented on claims that Musk has pushed misinformation on the platform, suggesting that he should be prosecuted over his exercise of free speech rights on X. Businessman and investor Roger McNamee, appearing on MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” argued that there could be a legal case against Musk due to his statements on social media.

“Like any American, he has a right to his own opinion and he has a right to express his opinion. However, that right is not unlimited,” McNamee stated. He went on to note that Musk has “special limitations that wouldn’t apply to normal people” because his companies, specifically Starlink and SpaceX, are government contractors.

Bill Gates’ “Unsolvable Problem” Is Free Speech

Bill Gates recently said that the biggest “unsolvable” problem facing young people is free speech. Of course, he complains that it’s “misinformation” online, but we all know by now that nomenclature is used to rail against speech the ruling class doesn’t like.

Misinformation is the buzzword the ruling class uses to lament that the slaves use free speech, and won’t stay in line parroting their official narrative. It is becoming more commonaccording to NBC News. Apparently,  technological advances like artificial general intelligence chatbots make it easier to generate and spread falsehoods quickly and the rulers really don’t like that information is going against their control scheme.

In fact, hilariously, “AI-generated misinformation” was named as the top global risk of the next two years in a World Economic Forum survey in January. Fifty-five percent of Americans said the U.S. government and tech companies should act to restrict false information online, in a 2023 survey by the Pew Research Center. That means there are still a lot of people who believe a master should control the speech of his slaves so he can stay in power for longer.

Bill Gates claims he hates free speech because his daughter was bullied online. “Hearing my daughter talk about how she’d been harassed online, and how her friends experienced that quite a bit, brought that into focus in a way that I hadn’t thought about before,” said Gates.

Last year, Phoebe Gates spoke out against free speech saying that “the misconceptions and conspiracy theories” about her family and her own relationships were reasons to not allow the slave class to speak freely, in an interview with The Information.

Mark Zuckerberg Apologizes for Biden Administration Censorship, Sending Liberal Elites Into Denial

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg sent a letter last week to the House Judiciary Committee saying he regrets not being more outspoken about “government pressure” from the Biden administration to “censor” COVID-19 content, causing liberal pundits and media outlets who have denied this censorship to panic and deny what Zuckerberg wrote. The Meta CEO also admitted that his company demoted a story critical of Biden’s son—the Hunter Biden laptop scandal—right before the 2020 election.

In 2021, senior officials in the Biden administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn’t agree …. I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it …. and we’re ready to push back if something like this happens again.

Journalist Kara Swisher began lying about the matter in a CNN interview, alleging that the Supreme Court had found there had been no censorship and that the Biden administration had not pressured Meta. Both claims are false.

In the recent Supreme Court ruling, judges skipped over claims of whether the Biden administration had actually censored Americans, arguing that the plaintiffs did not have standing to sue the White House. Swisher could have learned this by reading an article on the decision in the New York Times, the very publication where she was a contributor.

As for the Biden administration pressure to censor—something that Swisher denies—the evidence of this was made clear from Meta internal communications released by the House Judiciary Committee last May.

Zuckerberg texted three Meta officials—Sheryl Sandberg, Nick Clegg, and Joel Kaplan—on July 16, 2021, “Can we include that the [White House] put pressure on us to censor the lab leak theory?”

What harm will Bill Gates’ anti-methane vaccine cause to animals and the environment?

A US start-up, ArkeaBio, has created a prototype vaccine that it claims cuts methane emissions by 13% in a first trial involving 10 cows. The vaccine targets methane-producing bacteria in a cow’s digestive system.

“When it comes to climate change, a simple vaccine can be a powerful tool,” ArkeaBio says.

Climate cultists praise the development as significant because methane is a potent greenhouse gas, with a global warming potential much higher than carbon dioxide.

However, the very process they are trying to stop – the production of methane from methanogens in animals’ gut biome – is also the same microorganisms and process that has the potential to capture carbon dioxide and produce a renewable energy source – methane.

As usual, the climate change cultists are making no sense.  Perhaps it is because it is Bill Gates backing the project and it has nothing to do with “climate change mitigation” and everything to do with vaccines.  So how safe are these vaccines?

Clinton Labour Secretary Calls For “Global Regulators” To Arrest Elon Musk

Former Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, Robert Reich, has declared that “global regulators” should arrest Elon Musk for spreading “misinformation” and “hate”.

Reich made the remarks in an op ed for the far left Guardian newspaper, declaring that Musk, is “out of control,” and should be stopped arrested like Telegram CEO Pavel Durov was in France.

“Regulators around the world should threaten Musk with arrest if he doesn’t stop disseminating lies and hate on X,” Reich decrees.

He continues, “Global regulators may be on the way to doing this, as evidenced by the 24 August arrest in France of Pavel Durov, who founded the online communications tool Telegram, which French authorities have found complicit in hate crimes and disinformation.”

“Like Musk, Durov has styled himself as a free speech absolutist,” Reich emphasises.

Free speech. How awful! Sick the global regulators on him.

Reich also proffered other suggestions such as boycotting Tesla, pressuring companies not to advertise on X, encouraging the Federal Trade Commission to sue Musk, and canceling all his government contracts.

“Censorship Is a Certainty If Dems Win”: Musk Speaks Out as Twitter Banned in Brazil

Elon Musk warned Americans that “censorship is a certainty if Dems win,” as the billionaire Twitter owner deals with the fallout of the judicial decision to ban Twitter/X in Brazil.

Musk was responding to a popular Twitter user, DogeDesigner, who said “I wouldn’t be surprised to see X suspended in the US if the Democrats come into power again.”

On Friday, Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexander de Moraes suspended Twitter in the country and set a hefty daily fine of nearly $9,000 for anybody who uses a VPN to access the site. Twitter will remain suspended until the company complies with the Judge’s orders.

In his decision, Judge Moraes said that “Elon Musk showed his total disrespect for Brazilian sovereignty and, in particular, for the judiciary, setting himself up as a true supranational entity and immune to the laws of each country.”

On Thursday night, in anticipation of the ban, Twitter/X’s Global Affairs account issued a statement in English and Portuguese.

Elon Musk Fires Off Warning to Americans After Brazil Bans X

Elon Musk fired off a warning to Americans after radical Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes blocked X in Brazil.

The Brazilian Supreme Court Justice claimed he is banning X from Brazil because Elon Musk refused to name a legal representative to the country.

X’s Global Affairs disputed this Thursday evening.

“Soon, we expect Judge Alexandre de Moraes will order X to be shut down in Brazil – simply because we would not comply with his illegal orders to censor his political opponents. These enemies include a duly elected Senator and a 16-year-old girl, among others,” X’s Global Affairs said.

“When we attempted to defend ourselves in court, Judge de Moraes threatened our Brazilian legal representative with imprisonment. Even after she resigned, he froze all of her bank accounts. Our challenges against his manifestly illegal actions were either dismissed or ignored. Judge de Moraes’ colleagues on the Supreme Court are either unwilling or unable to stand up to him,” Global Affairs said.
