Joe Rogan Notes How Crazy it is That None of the People Who Pushed Russiagate Have Been Punished

Joe Rogan was recently speaking with comedian Tony Hinchliffe, the guest on his podcast, and noted that no one has been held accountable for the Russiagate conspiracy.

Rogan is right, especially when it comes to the media. Almost everyone in media who pushed this hoax for years is still employed.

The truth is that most of them never even actually believed it. They just used it as a weapon to roadblock Trump in his first term. They couldn’t get him out of office, so the next best thing was to make it impossible for him to get things done.

TONY HINCHLIFFE: “Yeah, there is no repercussions to be found. They get to say whatever they want. It’s crazy.”

JOE ROGAN: “Well, the repercussion is no one takes them seriously. And that’s real, they’ve suffered that.”

“I mean, we’ve seen that in real time. And I think the pandemic was the big…that was the big wakeup call for a lot of people.”

Moderna’s mRNA Flu Vaccine Gets Unanimous Thumbs-Up Despite Risks, Low Efficacy

A federal advisory committee today unanimously voted to endorse Moderna’s mRNA flu vaccine — just months after rejecting the company’s application on the basis that Moderna had not performed an “adequate and well-controlled” clinical trial.

The Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC), which reviews scientific data on the safety and effectiveness of vaccines and other therapeutics on behalf of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), voted 9-0 in dual votes to recommend approval of the vaccine for the 50-64 and 65-plus age groups.

Today’s votes took place after several hours of presentations based on the findings of Moderna’s Phase 4 clinical trial data for its mRNA-1010 vaccine. The trial compared the efficacy of mRNA-1010 to that of a conventional, non-mRNA flu vaccine.

Daniel O’Connor, founder and CEO of TrialSite News, told The Defender today’s favorable votes “may reflect the committee’s view that the benefit-risk profile is acceptable.” However, the vote “does not erase the fundamental concerns surrounding this application.”

“Significant questions remain about comparator selection, study design and whether the reported efficacy advantage represents a clinically meaningful improvement for patients or simply a statistical advantage within the framework of the trial,” O’Connor said.

According to an FDA briefing document prepared in advance of today’s meeting, “no major deficiencies were identified” with the vaccine for adults 50 and over. Citing the clinical trial data, the document states that the mRNA-1010 vaccine had a 26.6% relative efficacy rate in adults 50 and over, with similar rates for adults 65 and up.

The mRNA-1010 vaccine also showed a higher immune response than Sanofi’s Fluzone vaccine, the document noted. According to Fierce Biotech, these results met all of the FDA’s “pre-specified criteria for success” and bolstered Moderna’s application for approval.

Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., senior research scientist for Children’s Health Defense, said today’s vote shifts mRNA-1010 safety monitoring to after licensure.

“VRBPAC meetings proceed to the beat of the rubber stamp. The unanimous vote guarantees a lot of really good questions of harm will have to be answered in the post-marketing period, when that harm manifests in the population,” Jablonowski said.

Moderna seeks traditional approval for the mRNA-1010 vaccine for the 50-64 age group and accelerated approval for the 65-plus age group.

Fierce Biotech reported that the FDA uses VRBPAC meetings to “seek outside counsel on tough or high-profile regulatory decisions.”

The FDA will make an approval decision on mRNA-1010 by Aug. 5 — and while the agency is not bound to VRBPAC’s votes, it “often follows the opinions” of its advisory committees.

Moderna’s stock was up over 4% in trading immediately after the vote, and up 3.50% at the close of market.

Antifa Now Threatening Judges Who Sentenced Terrorists Who Attacked Texas ICE Facility

Last week, two Texas judges sentenced a group of terrorists to 30, 50, and even 100 years in federal prison over their attack on a Texas ICE facility that resulted in the shooting of a law enforcement officer.

The media desperately tried to reframe the attack as a protest gone bad, but it didn’t work and the story quietly fell off the radar.

Now, members of Antifa are openly threatening the judges on social media. Do they want to join their friends in prison?

Far-left extremists are making violent death threats against two federal Texas judges after they handed down long prison sentences to convicted members of a North Texas Antifa terror cell.

The threats followed last week’s first batch of sentencing where eight convicts received prison terms ranging from 30 years to 100 years after becoming the first defendants convicted in a federal Antifa terrorism case in U.S. history.

The threats are being directed at U.S. District Judge Mark T. Pittman and Chief U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor.

Many of the threats were responses to updates on social media platform Bluesky from the DFW Support Committee, the far-left group that has been organizing support and cash donations for the defendants.

“So, when are we burning it all down?” asked one user under an alias. “He has an address,” referring to Judge O’Connor.

Inside Ottawa’s mansion spending spree

On Tuesday’s episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra sat down with Franco Terrazzano of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation to dig into what Terrazzano calls the “dumbest piece of prevailing wisdom in Ottawa”: the idea that politicians are too cheap to renovate their own mansions.

According to Terrazzano, the National Capital Commission spent $135 million over 16 years maintaining and renovating official residences, or roughly $8.5 million annually. Despite this, the agency has requested an additional $175 million over 10 years, plus $26 million every year ongoing, to restore all six properties.

Terrazzano pointed to a string of expenditures he described as wasteful, including $8 million for a barn at Rideau Hall, $140,000 spent designing a staircase that was never built, and more than $700,000 renovating a kitchen at Harrington Lake.

The conversation also touched on the ongoing Centre Block renovation on Parliament Hill, which the NCC now estimates will cost between $4.5 billion and $5 billion.

Ezra and Terrazzano discussed how some journalists appear to advocate for lavish spending on behalf of the prime minister, from private jet upgrades to the multi-million dollar renovation of 24 Sussex Drive, while taxpayers are left footing the bill.

Open Borders Contributed to Real Estate Inflation

Politicians continue insisting that mass migration carries no economic consequences. Anyone who questions the policy is immediately accused of being anti-immigrant. That has always been the tactic. Rather than debate the economics, they attack the person asking the question. Yet reality eventually catches up with political slogans, and now even economists are beginning to quantify what common sense should have told us years ago.

A new working paper from economists at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas examined the unprecedented surge in unauthorized immigration between 2021 and 2024. The researchers estimate that unauthorized immigrant workers accounted for roughly 30% of employment growth in the average metropolitan area during that period. More importantly, they found that in markets where housing supply could not expand quickly enough, a 1% increase in unauthorized worker inflows was associated with approximately a 2.2% increase in home prices and about a 1.4% increase in rents.

When population rises rapidly while housing construction fails to keep pace, prices climb. More people competing for a limited number of homes means higher prices. Demand rises faster than supply. The laws of supply and demand do not disappear because politicians prefer open borders. The Federal Reserve researchers also noted that housing construction did not expand sufficiently to absorb the additional demand, leaving existing residents competing for the same inventory. This is basic economics that governments have chosen to ignore.

The numbers illustrate just how severe the housing shortage has become. Freddie Mac estimates the United States remains short roughly 3.7 million housing units. The National Association of Realtors has repeatedly reported that existing home inventory remains well below historical norms, while the median existing-home price reached another record high during 2025. Meanwhile, mortgage rates have remained around 6% to 7% for much of the past two years, dramatically increasing monthly payments and pushing homeownership further out of reach for younger Americans. The result has been exactly what our computer projected years ago, employed adults increasingly remaining with their parents because housing has become unaffordable.

On Tuesday’s CNN This Morning, the short morning show focused heavily on the trials and tribulations of the Democratic Socialists of America and their rise, with candidates being nominated across the country, including in NYC last week and possibly in Colorado this week. In one of many segments on socialism and the Democrat Party, Cornish asked her panel about GOP’s labeling of the DSA as communists and said, “Do you think it’s weird they’re skipping straight to communism?”…

After a soundbite played from a Chevliar love-fest on MS NOW last week, USA Today White House Correspondent Francesca Chambers returned to comments President Trump made on the “threat of communism,” which led to Cornish to respond as she posed a question to the group: “Do you think it’s weird they’re skipping straight to communism?”

Cornish then showed a graph of the unpopularity of socialism, which she said showed, “Americans in general don’t view it all that much better than they did in 2010,” before she returned to question the use of “communism”:

And I just wonder why you can’t just critique socialism as is, and you have to go straight to communism?

European Taxpayers Spend 3.9B Euros on Drones for Ukraine

The European Union just sent another €3.9 billion to Ukraine to buy drones. This is not humanitarian aid. This is war financing. Reuters reported that the latest transfer is part of the EU’s new €90 billion loan program designed to keep Kyiv funded through 2026 and 2027. The money is being directed toward Ukraine’s drone procurement, meaning European taxpayers are now openly financing the weapons system that has become central to this war.

Do not let anyone pretend Europe is a neutral party. The EU Council itself says support for Ukraine has reached €211.3 billion since the war began. That figure includes military, financial, humanitarian, and refugee-related support. Now Brussels is adding a €90 billion loan on top of that to cover Ukraine’s budget and defense needs for the next two years. This is not charity. This is Europe admitting it intends to keep the war going because Ukraine cannot finance it on its own.

The EU sent nearly €2.8 billion earlier in June, Reuters reported another €3.2 billion tranche under the broader loan structure, and now another €3.9 billion is being pushed out for drones. Ukraine’s reconstruction costs are estimated at $588 billion over the next decade, while Kyiv is signing more than 160 recovery agreements worth over €10 billion. Europe is no longer merely supporting Ukraine. It is building the financial architecture for a permanent war economy.

Mamdani’s NYPD cut ‘blindsided’ City Council — leaving pols bracing for other surprises in $126B budget they passed

Clueless City Council members were blindsided by Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s 11th-hour move to ax nearly 600 promised new NYPD cops from the city’s behemoth budget – leaving them bracing for more surprises, sources revealed.

Mamdani sprung the cut on City Council Speaker Julie Menin late Monday right after they hashed out a backroom deal for the eventual $125.8 billion budget, insiders told The Post.

The ambushed lawmakers had taken Mamdani at his word weeks ago that he’d hire 580 more officers — even though that pledge angered the democratic socialist’s lefty allies because it broke a campaign promise to freeze the NYPD’s headcount at 35,000 cops.

“We were completely blindsided when the mayor sucker-punched us with this reversal after a deal was done,” said David Carr (R-Staten Island), the City Council’s minority leader.

“When an administration publicly announces that it is hiring 580 police officers, you’re supposed to be able to take them at their word. Not once from the announcement was there any sense that this needed expansion of the uniform headcount could be on the chopping block.”

The far-left-appeasing move also put the City Council speaker in a bind because if she objected, it would have derailed a budget deal as the city was already in danger of blowing past a Wednesday deadline, insiders said.

Why Iran Believes Israel Will Attack Again Before October

Will Israel restart the war with Iran before the October elections? This is the consensus view emerging within Iran’s internal national security debate over the past week.

Several factors are driving Tehran to this conclusion. Beyond its deep – and not entirely unwarranted – suspicion of President Donald Trump’s intentions, heightened by Vice President JD Vance’s recent remark that Trump wants to use the MOU to replenish global oil reserves and then “see where the hand is,” two developments stand out: the recent Israeli-Lebanese agreement and its impact on Hezbollah’s military posture over the coming months.

From Tehran’s perspective, the agreement hands Israel a significant advantage in any renewed war with Iran – one it lacked in February. By allowing Israeli forces to remain in parts of southern Lebanon, the deal appears to contravene the MOU while fundamentally reshaping the military balance. Israel’s continued presence in these strategic positions would make it far more difficult for Hezbollah to mount the kind of offensive operations that proved critical during the previous round of fighting.

That matters because, in February and March, the Iranians say they used only about 40 percent of their offensive capabilities against Israel, because Hezbollah carried much of the remaining burden. At the time, pundits in the West were debating why Tehran hit the UAE harder than it did Israel.

Part of it was because of Israel’s much higher pain tolerance compared to the GCC states. Tehran was aiming to reach the most accessible pain threshold to pressure the US to end the war. But part of it was the critical role Hezbollah played in the war, contrary to much of the press coverage at the time. It played a critical role in stretching Israel’s defenses, complicating its targeting decisions, and forcing it to divide resources across multiple fronts.

That role, however, was poorly understood because Israel imposed near-total military censorship during the war – far stricter than the censorship regime in June 2025 – which sharply limited public visibility into Hezbollah’s operations and their impact. As a result, the degree to which Hezbollah shaped the course of the war has been significantly underestimated.

Unlike the MOU, the current Israeli-Lebanese agreement does not require Israel to withdraw from Lebanese territory until Hezbollah has been disarmed. Since that outcome is highly unlikely in the foreseeable future, Israel is poised to retain its positions inside Lebanon, enabling it to renew the war with Iran without facing the same pressure from its northern front that constrained it during the previous conflict.

Netanyahu’s motivations are clear. Beyond his long-standing desire to use American force to subjugate Iran to Israeli domination and achieve a regional balance favorable to Israel, he now also has stark political and personal reasons to restart the war.

The MOU has come at a steep political cost for Netanyahu. His prospects for reelection in October are weaker than they have been in months. Once seen as the Israeli leader uniquely capable of delivering President Trump, he now confronts the prospect that both the war and the ensuing diplomacy will leave Israel in a strategically weaker position – undermining the very case he has made for his leadership.

And of course, if he loses the elections, he will likely spend the next few years in jail, as he will lose his immunity as Prime Minister and face trial over corruption charges.

Kamala Harris Reaches Out to Mamdani and AOC, and Yes, That’s What It Means

Well, it looks as if Kamala Harris is indeed planning to run for president in 2028, and that she is counting on the Democrat Party’s rapidly growing Marxist wing to propel her into the White House. Yes, it could mean the end of the United States as a free nation, particularly given the Biden regime’s taste for authoritarianism (hounding the social media giants to silence COVID dissidents, trying to establish a Disinformation Governance Board, treating pro-lifers as if they were terrorists, etc.). About that, Harris has never shown any concern, and now she seems more focused on the pursuit of raw power than ever before.

That was clear from the fact that, as Fox News reported Wednesday, Harris is “courting New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and other progressive power players as 2028 speculation builds around another possible White House bid.”

Mamdani is a committed Marxist and Twelver Shi’ite Muslim who has already set in motion efforts to make the city government, or Mamdani’s cronies in Marxist NGOs, New York City’s biggest landlord, which would cement the far left in power for the foreseeable future and almost certainly seal the demise of the city that is the very symbol of capitalism and the financial capital of the world. 

Instead of reaching out to Mamdani and trying to forge ties with him, Harris and other pillars of the Democrat establishment ought to be shunning him and his ilk, and making it abundantly clear that their party is not a Marxist, anti-American outfit. That, however, would require a sane world.

In this one, Harris also met with another socialist, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Swizzle Stick), “behind the scenes at a Black women empowerment summit in Chicago,” which also indicates that Harris is still pretending to be black. Among her numerous notorious statements, AOC, herself a rising star in Democrat circles, once declared that “a system that allows billionaires to exist” is inherently immoral, and insisted as recently as May 2026 that it is impossible to earn a billion dollars without breaking the law.

As if embracing more or less open Marxists weren’t enough, Harris went for the full leftist/Islamic trifecta, as she has “reportedly has also been reaching out to pro-Palestinian groups after she faced pushback from those groups during her 2024 presidential run. Harris reached out to at least one group that was part of the ‘Uncommitted Movement’ that developed as a result of President Joe Biden’s handling of the Israel and Gaza conflict.”

Just days after the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas massacre of 1,200 Israelis, Old Joe Biden gave Gaza $100 million in “humanitarian aid,” which means that he was funding Hamas’ jihad against Israel. Hamas was in control of Gaza, and so the money went to Hamas. (The Biden regime wasn’t about to give the money to Israel to distribute.) And since Old Joe was supplying the money for food and medicine and schools and the like, the money that Hamas had planned to spend on all that was then freed up to pay for rockets, bombs, tunnels, and other accoutrements of jihad. 

Yet even that wasn’t enough for the far left, which demanded that Old Joe repudiate Israel altogether. Harris, in meeting with a group that hated Israel so much that it wouldn’t vote for Old Joe, was signaling that she was prepared to throw the Jewish state under the bus in order to get into the White House.
