U.S. Senate Candidate in Nebraska Claims to be an Independent But is Being Bankrolled by Prominent Democrats

Dan Osborn is a candidate for U.S. Senate in the state of Nebraska and he claims to be an independent, yet he is being funded by donations from major Democrats in various parts of the country and is using the far left portal Act Blue.

It looks as though the left is trying to put one over on the American people by disguising a candidate as something that he isn’t and hiding the truth. It’s an incredibly dishonest and cynical move.

Of course, the liberal media is playing right along. Almost every report describes Osborn as an independent.

FOX News reports:

National Dems bankroll campaign of ‘fake independent’ Senate candidate from Midwestern state

Labor Union leader Dan Osborn, a candidate for U.S. Senate in Nebraska, has campaigned on being an “Independent,” going as far as saying he has no plans to caucus with either major party if elected, but his recent FEC filings paint a different picture.

Osborn has not only been endorsed by leaders of the Nebraska Democratic Party and mobilized fundraising on ActBlue, the Democratic Party’s main fundraising platform. He has also accepted donations from several prominent Washington Democrats and Democrat political action committees.

Among the donors to his campaign are the campaign of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and the PACs of former Democrat senators Bob Kerrey and Jon Tester. Democracy Summer, a leadership PAC founded by Maryland Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin, also donated $2,000.

The latest FEC filings, released last week, also show Osborn continues to accept fundraising support from The People United, a left-wing super PAC that has supported Democrat ‘Squad’ members like Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, Summer Lee and Ilhan Omar.

“As an independent, I’ll be uniquely positioned to bring together a majority to get it done,” Osborn’s “Where I Stand” webpage on his campaign website states in reference to securing the border from illegal immigration. “I believe we all have more in common with each other than we do with the partisans who run Washington.”

Back in March, Bernie Sanders recommended this exact strategy. He told progressive candidates that they should run as independents.

Report: Kash Patel Claims ‘FBI Is on the Verge’ of Unmasking Funding Behind Antifa

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel has claimed the agency is “on the verge” of unmasking the funding and “command structure” behind Antifa, according to a report.

The Huckabee Post reported that Patel said the agency “is following the money” and that “There are indications that support for anti-American radical groups is coming from America’s enemies overseas.” Patel’s comments came during an interview with Just the News:

FBI Director Kash Patel said that the FBI is on the verge of unmasking the command structure and financing of violent anarchist groups like Antifa. He said the FBI is following the money, and there are indications that support for anti-American radical groups is coming from America’s enemies overseas and US nonprofits with IRS tax exemptions. He also hinted that more indictments will be forthcoming in the investigation of weaponizing the government. He urged critics to have patience, noting that Trump’s people have had just seven months to investigate corruption that’s been embedded for 20 years or more.

Patel explained to Just the News that the agency was “looking at so many different leads on criminal activity by those who are in positions of power.”

Patel also praised President Donald Trump for having designated Antifa a domestic terror organization, and added that the agency’s investigations are “mapping out the money,” and that they are “using social media and the influencers” that took part in an Antifa roundtable event at the White House recently.

During his interview with the outlet, Patel also explained that “effort tracking Antifa has become so important” that the agency “created an entire new program and division dedicated” to figuring out the “money that is funding these operations:”

Patel told Just the News that the effort tracking Antifa funding has become so important that “we’ve created an entire new program and division dedicated to rooting out the money that is funding these operations, whether it’s U.S. based or internationally.”

A fact sheet from the White House in September explained that Trump’s executive order “notes that Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that calls for the overthrow of the” United States government and law enforcement officials.

“The Order directs the Federal government to investigate, disrupt, and dismantle all illegal operations conducted by Antifa or any person claiming to act on behalf of Antifa,” the fact sheet adds. “It also calls for investigating, disrupting, and dismantling the funding sources behind such operations.”

Trump’s nominee to lead watchdog agency withdraws after controversial text messages

President Donald Trump’s pick to lead a federal watchdog agency withdrew his nomination from consideration on Thursday evening.

Paul Ingrassia withdrew from the Office of Special Counsel after Politico reported a text chat of him saying Martin Luther King Jr. Day should be “tossed into the seventh circle of hell.” He also said that he could have a “Nazi streak.”

Ingrassia’s lawyer did not confirm or deny to Politico that the messages were real. His lawyer said they could have been manipulated or missing context.

“I will be withdrawing myself from Thursday’s HSGAC hearing to lead the Office of Special Counsel because unfortunately I do not have enough Republican votes at this time,” Ingrassia wrote on Truth Social. “I appreciate the overwhelming support that I have received throughout the process and will continue to serve President Trump and the administration to Make America Great Again!” HSGAC is the Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs.

Multiple GOP Senators rebuked Ingrassia’s nomination, including Senate Majority Leader John Thune. He hoped Trump would pull Ingrassia’s nomination himself.

Democrats also chimed in. Senator Minority Chuck Schumer called the messages “foul” and “disqualifying, while speaking on the Senate floor.

“And it’s hard to believe there is any process in any White House that would allow such a man through to be nominated,” he added.

Alaska Schools’ Social Studies Standards Omit Washington, Lincoln, And Christianity

Alaska’s new social studies standards don’t mention the Nome Gold Rush. They don’t mention the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. They don’t mention William Egan, the state of Alaska’s first governor, and they don’t mention Sarah Palin, who ran for Vice President of the United States. There’s a lot more that’s missing in the Alaska social studies standards, but you can tell right away that something is wrong when Alaska’s social studies standards leave Alaska’s children ignorant of the headlines of Alaska’s history and the most famous Alaskans.

Education departments in every state are on radical autopilot when they make social studies standards. Americans expect blue states to use their state social studies standards to impose identity politics ideology and action civics (vocational training in progressive activism) on schools and students, strip out factual content, and ignore or slander the history of Western civilization and America, and call it “social studies instruction” — that’s what you get in states such as Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Minnesota. But radical activists embedded in state education departments do the same thing in red states whenever policymakers and citizens aren’t looking. That’s what just happened in Alaska.

The Alaska Social Studies Standards (2024), produced by Alaska’s Department of Education and Early Development, avoided the worst of the blue-state social studies standards’ extreme politicization, unprofessional vocabulary, and ideologically extreme content. That’s because there’s hardly any historical content. The standards’ absences include basic facts of American history, much of how our government works, and our foundational documents of liberty. The standards also introduced substantial new amounts of politicized material.

How did Alaska’s Department get its curriculum so badly wrong?

The department outsourced much of the standards to the radical activists who have captured the national social studies establishment. Alaska’s standards take their structure and emphases from the National Council for the Social Studies’ (NCSS) ideologically extreme definition of social studies, as well as from its College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies State Standards. The C3 Framework replaces content knowledge with insubstantial and opaque “inquiry”; lards social studies with identity politics ideologies such as Critical Race Theory; and inserts ideologically extreme activism pedagogies such as Action Civics.

Alliance Of Indigenous Nations International Tribunal Issues ORDER: “mRNA nanoparticle injections, are in Fact Biological and Technological Weapons of Mass Destruction”!

A screen shot and downloadable pdf of this extraordinary declaration and ORDER are below.

I assisted Lisa Miron in this effort, by sharing the evidence from my case and helping persuade A.I.N. to take up the issue. Lisa organized it all and did a fantastic job.

After reviewing hundreds of pages of evidence from my current case, including scientific papers and legal briefs filed in the Florida court system, as well other scientific papers, the Alliance of Indigenous Nations (A.I.N.) International Tribunal, issued a declaration and ORDER declaring the MRNA nanoparticle injections biological and technological weapons of mass destruction.

The Alliance of Indigenous Nations (A.I.N.) International Tribunal is the first governing body and judicial authority in the world to issue an ORDER declaring MRNA nanoparticle injections biological and technological weapons of mass destruction.

In addition to legal briefs and scientific studies, the Alliance of Indigenous Nations (A.I.N.) reviewed affidavits filed in my current case in the Florida court system from Ana Mihalcea, M.D., PhD; Rima Laibow, M.D.; Karen Kingston; Andrew Zywiec, M.D.; Marivic Villa, M.D., and Avery Brinkley, M.D.. Dr. Ben Marble, M.D., and Dr. Paul Alexander, PhD.; and the late Francis Boyle, J.D., PhD, the law professor that wrote the U.S. domestic implementation legislation of the Biological Weapons Convention, called the Biological Weapons and Antiterrorism Act of 1989. Dr. Boyle publicly stated the COVID 19 injections were bioweapons in late 2020, before they were even deployed.

The declaration and ORDER include quotes from and or cites affidavits from Dr. Francis Boyle, J.D, PhD; Dr. Ana Mihalcea, M.D., PhD; Dr. Andrew Zywiec, M.D.,; Dr. Paul Alexander, PhD; and Dr. Rima Laibow, M.D. It also cites the work of Dr. James Thorp, M.D.; Dr. David J. Speicher, who also provided an affidavit; Dr. Jessica Rose; and Dr. Kevin McKernan; and cites a recent paper by Dr. Andrew Zywiec, et. al., stating that the ‘vaccine’ violated the Biological Weapons Convention.

This extraordinary declaration and ORDER comes in the wake of the World Council for Health Florida chapter declaring the MRNA nanoparticle injections to be biological and technological weapons of mass destruction. Previously county Republican Parties across the U.S. as well as the Idaho and Arizona GOPs declared MRNA nanoparticle injections to be biological and technological weapons of mass destruction.

The Indigenous Nations (A.I.N.) International Tribunal stated:

“This Tribunal finds and hereby declares that the COVID-19 injections, mRNA injections, or mRNA nanoparticle injections, are in fact biological and technological weapons of mass destruction.

This Tribunal finds and hereby declares that the ‘COVID-19 nanoparticle injections’ or ‘mRNA nanoparticle injections’ or ‘COVID-19 injections‘ meet the criteria of biological weapons and weapons of mass destruction according to the Biological Weapons Anti Terrorism Act, of 1989 18 USC § 175; Weapons and Firearms § 790.166 Fla. Stat. (2023), Canada‘s Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention Implementation Act, 2004, and the International Biological Weapons Convention. This Order and Declaration is intended to have immediate worldwide effect.”

The Indigenous Nations (A.I.N.) International Tribunal has nation to nation status recognized by the Canadian government. The Indigenous Nations (A.I.N.) International Tribunal is the first governing body and judicial authority in the world to issue an ORDER declaring the MRNA nanoparticle injections biological and technological weapons of mass destruction.

Simple Hair-Test Identifies Children At Highest Risk For Depression And Anxiety

Measuring stress levels through hair samples could provide important clues about mental health risks in children living with chronic physical illnesses, research suggests.

“Hair cortisol offers a non-invasive, easy-to-collect biomarker that could one day be used to screen children and track whether treatments or support programs are helping to reduce stress,” study co-author Mark Ferro, a professor in the University of Waterloo’s School of Public Health Sciences, said in a press statement.

An estimated 40 percent of children in Canada live with chronic physical illnesses (CPI)—a number that has been increasing over the past decades.

As George Citroner details below for The Epoch Times, those with higher cortisol levels are more likely to develop mental health problems at rates ranging from 20 percent to 50 percent, significantly higher than the prevalence in healthy children, researchers noted.

These conditions can lead to lower quality of life, suicidal thoughts, and greater use of health care services.

Chronic Illness Linked to Mental Health Difficulties

Published this year in Stress and Health, the study tracked 244 Canadian children with chronic physical illnesses over four years. Researchers used hair cortisol, a biological marker that reflects stress over time, to measure stress levels.

The results showed that more than two-thirds of the children had consistently high cortisol levels.

When comparing these stress patterns to reports of emotional and behavioral difficulties, scientists saw that children whose cortisol levels declined showed fewer symptoms of anxiety, depression, and behavior problems than those whose levels remained high.

Why Hair Testing Matters

Unlike current screening methods that rely on behavioral assessments after problems emerge, hair cortisol testing could identify at-risk children years earlier. The hormone cortisol accumulates in hair over months, providing a long-term picture of stress levels that blood or saliva tests cannot capture.

According to researchers, this discovery could help guide prevention and treatment strategies to better support children’s well-being.

“Our findings suggest that chronically high stress, measured through hair samples, could help identify children with CPI at the highest risk for developing mental health problems. This opens the door to earlier and more targeted support,” lead study author Emma Littler, a University of Waterloo doctoral candidate in public health sciences, said in the press statement.

As hair develops, cortisol from the bloodstream and from secretions of sweat and sebaceous glands becomes embedded within the hair shaft.

Human scalp hair typically grows at a fairly consistent rate of about 1 centimeter per month, which allows a 1 centimeter segment of hair to serve as a reliable indicator of the average stress level during that month.

To create a historical record of cortisol exposure, hair is often sectioned into segments; for instance, a 3-centimeter sample can be divided into three 1-centimeter segments, each representing a separate month. In laboratory analysis, the hair sample undergoes washing to eliminate external contaminants, followed by pulverization and incubation in a solvent such as methanol to extract the cortisol.

The extracted hormone is then measured using highly sensitive techniques such as enzyme-linked immunoassay or liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The resulting measurement is expressed as the amount of cortisol per milligram of hair, typically in picograms per milligram.

Dr. Molly McVoy, an associate professor of psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine, who was not involved in the study, noted that anxiety and mood disorders such as depression are most commonly associated with chronic medical conditions. She pointed out that in these conditions, changes in cortisol are signs that a child is more at risk for an anxiety or mood disorder.

US Defense Contractors Raise Forecasts After Zelensky Meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with several US defense contractors this week, including Raytheon, GE, and Lockheed Martin. A few days later, major defense companies raised their full-year profit estimates significantly.

Spokespeople say that tariffs have no impact on demand for the defense industry. Naturally, Ukraine is seeking duty-free defense imports on defense products paid for by other countries.

Lockheed raised its profit forecast from $22.15–$22.35 per share, up from $21.70–$22.00. The revenue forecast increased to $74.25–$74.75 billion from the previous range of $73.75–$74.75 billion. CEO Jim Taiclet noted there is “unprecedented demand” for Lockheed’s F-35 fighters, CH-53K helicopters, and of course, the highly desired patriot missiles.

“We are investing aggressively in both new digital technologies and physical production capacity needed to meet the top defense priorities of the United States and its allies — and we are doing so in partnership with a number of leading technology partners, large and small,” Taiclet said in a statement.

“In Washington, I spoke with defense companies that produce Patriots and other weapons we need. The willingness to work with Ukraine is fully sufficient — Ukraine is trusted,” Zelensky said on Monday. “It is important that there be enough support for this at the political level in Washington.”

General Electric Aerospace (GE) increased revenue guidance from “mid-teens” to “high teens” in terms of percentage growth. Free cash flow is predicted to be $7.1 billion to $7.3 billion, which is around $1 billion higher than before the meeting with Zelensky. GE stock is already up over 80% YoY, with an 83% increase in deliveries of defense equipment.

Raytheon did not publicly comment on its specific EPS ranges but had a strong Q3. RTX adjusted its full-year earnings to $6.10 to $6.20 from $5.80 to $5.95 and also tacked on an additional ~$1 billion for its sales forecast.

USDA to Resume Farmer Aid Distribution Halted During Govt Shutdown

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins said on Oct. 21 that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will resume distributing aid for farmers frozen by the government shutdown.

In a statement on X, Rollins said the USDA will resume operations at the Farm Service Agency (FSA) on Oct. 23, which includes processing farm loans and managing federal aid programs for farmers across the country.

“President Trump will not let the radical left Democrat shutdown impact critical USDA services while harvest is underway across the country,” the secretary stated.

Rollins said in a subsequent post that financial aid for farmers totals more than $3 billion.

In an interview with Fox News that aired Oct. 21, Rollins said that President Donald Trump has directed the USDA to reopen FSA offices nationwide to allow farmers to access and cash their aid payments.

The secretary also revealed that the Trump administration was preparing an aid package for farmers affected by China’s refusal to buy soybeans from the United States amid trade negotiations.

Democrats Dominate the Strawman King in Their Mind

Democrats had their party Saturday and…it doesn’t matter. Nothing came of it because nothing was supposed to come from it, the event was simply to make sure the left’s radical muscles don’t atrophy and the Brownshirts don’t turn on them. They need to keep their fringe simmering, events like that help them not boil over as quickly. Most importantly, they need to keep them from thinking, and there’s nothing like a good day of chanting a body odor to keep original thought at bay.

I managed to avoid all coverage of it, and all news, until Sunday morning. “This Week” loved it like George Stephanopoulos loved Jeffrey Epstein (there’s something about those Clinton people and perverts, isn’t there?), but “Meet the Press” barely touched on it, instead opting for news. Granted, it was poorly done and biased, but it was at least relevant to an audience who wasn’t showerly challenged.

Personally, I thought of the whole thing as how Democrats are now: the racist, segregationist trash they are – calling for an end to Martin Luther King they way they were. Well, there weren’t any exceptions, not even for MLK, so they must hate him, right?

Actually, they do – they have rejected pretty much everything related to judging a person by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, haven’t they? That, to me, is more of a rejection of anything “King” related than what they claimed to be upset Donald Trump has done.

Did you notice how the media cropped the pictures and video? It was either aerial shots or closely cropped pictures with very little activity in the background visible. MSNBC interviewed a lot of their own employees, aka “contributors,” on the streets marching around. This allowed them to give the impression they were covering the event, rather than covering for it.

Japan rejects US call to halt Russian energy imports

Japan’s Trade Minister Yoji Muto announced on 21 October that Tokyo will base its energy import decisions on national interests, resisting pressure from the US to stop purchasing Russian oil and gas.

While Muto stressed Japan’s autonomy, he also noted that “since the invasion of Ukraine, Japan has been steadily reducing its dependence on Russian energy,” according to Reuters.

His remarks followed a meeting between US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Japanese Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato, during which Bessent urged Japan to end all Russian oil and gas imports.

Muto stressed that Tokyo’s approach would balance energy security and diplomatic considerations.

“We recognise that LNG from Sakhalin-2 plays an extremely important role in Japan’s energy security,” he said, noting that the Russian project supplies roughly three percent of Japan’s electricity generation.

Despite formally joining the G7’s price-cap scheme – which limits how much countries can pay for Russian oil – Japan has kept exemptions in place due to its reliance on Sakhalin-2 for energy security.

In September, Tokyo lowered its price ceiling on Russian crude from $60 to $47.60 a barrel – a symbolic step to match Europe’s tighter cap, despite Japan’s exemption.

The US has intensified its campaign to cut Russian energy revenues by pressing top buyers, namely Japan, India, and China, to scale back purchases.

Washington argues that such steps would weaken Moscow’s ability to sustain its military operation in Ukraine.

Earlier this month, India also pushed back against US President Donald Trump’s claims that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had agreed to halt Russian oil imports.

Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India’s “import policies are guided entirely by the need to safeguard the interests of the Indian consumer,” emphasizing that diversification and stable pricing remain central to New Delhi’s strategy.

Beijing similarly dismissed the US demands, calling them “a typical example of unilateral bullying and economic coercion.”
