MORE TROUBLE FOR SWALWELL: Allegedly Used Campaign Cash to Pay Lawyer Representing Him Against Sexual Misconduct Accusations

The hits just keep coming for disgraced former Congressman Eric Swalwell.

In addition to facing multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and even rape, he is now facing allegations that he used campaign cash to pay a lawyer representing him in these matters. He also reportedly used campaign cash to pay babysitters.

And we’re not talking about small amounts here. We’re talking about tens of thousands of dollars.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

Eric Swalwell Campaign Paid $40K to Lawyer Representing Him Against Sexual Misconduct Allegations, $22K for Babysitters

Disgraced former Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.) dipped into his gubernatorial campaign’s war chest to pay an attorney representing him against sexual assault charges and for babysitters for his three children, records show.

According to campaign filings released Thursday, Swalwell’s campaign paid $40,000 to Sara Azari, a veteran criminal defense attorney who specializes in “cases where liberty, livelihood, and reputation are at stake.” It is Swalwell’s first payment to Azari; he has typically relied on other lawyers. Azari is representing the former congressman against allegations that he sexually assaulted a former congressional aide and harassed staffers.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office opened an investigation on April 11 after a former aide alleged that Swalwell sexually assaulted her while she was inebriated after a political event in 2024. The same woman accused Swalwell of raping her while she was drunk in 2019. Swalwell suspended his gubernatorial campaign the same day and resigned from Congress on April 14.

In a statement before the ex-congressman’s resignation, Azari said Swalwell “categorically” denied the assault and harassment allegations, calling them a “calculated and transparent political hit job.” Azari said Swalwell would “pursue every available legal remedy” against his accusers.

Swalwell, who was the frontrunner in the governor’s race before the scandal, also relied heavily on campaign funds to take care of his three children. According to campaign disclosures, Team Swalwell paid around $22,549 in 12 transactions to Swalwell’s longtime nanny, Amanda Barbosa, between January 1 and April 18.

At this point, he will be lucky to stay out of prison.

By the way, have you noticed that the liberal media is no longer interested in talking about Swalwell anymore?

Net Zero: Premeditated Industrial Destruction

On 1 April, the Great British Business Council (“GBBC”), a newly formed think tank,  published a paper titled ‘Premeditated Industrial Destruction: How the UK Destroyed Its Industry and A Plan To Reverse This’.

The paper is authored by economist Catherine McBride, retired engineer and consultant David Turver and public relations consultant Brian Monteith.  It demonstrates how the Government’s Net Zero policies are destroying the foundations of the UK economy and provides recommendations on how Net Zero could be reversed.

Because this paper is important in revealing some home truths, we are reproducing it in a series of articles, more manageable chunks if you will, so that, hopefully, more will read it, or at least read part of it.  This is the final article in the series. We have made some minor edits for readability purposes.  For those who choose to read the paper in one sitting, you can do so HERE.

Ilhan Omar Rages at Reporter Who Confronted Her About Financial Disclosure: ‘You’re Stupid’

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota brushed aside a journalist who asked her to explain how Omar’s net worth on reporting forms could shrink.

Last week, Congressional disclosures reviewed by the Wall Street Journal put Omar’s wealth at somewhere between $18,000 and $95,000. Previous filings put her wealth between $6 million and $30 million, Fox News reported.

Omar’s office has said accounting errors were responsible for the initial estimates, but has never explained them in detail.

A Lindell TV reporter tried to break through the stone wall of vague deflections, but was turned aside. The conversation began with Omar insisting she stood by a past denigration of the reporter, according to a video posted to X.

“I said I absolutely think you’re stupid for asking me anything,” Omar said.

When offered a chance to explain how her wealth could shrink once it became a lightning rod for criticism, she refused.

“I have explained to the American people,” she said, adding, “I have given them the explanation.”

The reporter tried again to get a response. She did.

“I don’t want to tell you jack s***,” Omar said in closing.

“How about that?” Omar said, ending the conversation by telling the journalist, “Have a good day.”

Certified Public Accountant Dan Geltrude, who founded Geltrude & Company in 1995, said Omar cannot shift blame onto others, according to Alpha News.

“Let’s call this for what it is: When a congressperson has to file these financial disclosure forms, they are signing them and by signing them, what are they saying? They are true, complete, and accurate to the best of their knowledge,” Geltrude said.

“So are you telling me that she didn’t notice that her net worth went from 100,000 to 30 million? Don’t blame the accountant. You can’t say you don’t know. Your signature on that form holds you legally accountable,” he said.

“The accountant did not make these numbers up. These numbers were provided in some form for the accountant to prepare the forms,” Geltrude said.

“But again, I go back to she is responsible. So what it tells me is either she misled in some way, or she simply didn’t review the forms. Either way, there is no excuse here … None.”

How the change came about could still be revealed as House Republicans investigate, Fox News wrote.

“Ilhan Omar is even more clueless than I thought if she thinks this financial disclosure revision clears her of suspicion,” Republican Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota said.

Covid “vaccines” did not save lives – simple mathematics proves it

Politicians repeatedly claim that covid vaccinations have saved millions of lives.

Millions is a big number, so it should be measurable.

But how do you prove what you know intuitively?

There is now a nice, short, simple publication that does this with official data and set theory (i.e. intuitive primary school mathematics).  See: Sorli AS (2025). The Discrepancy Between the Number of Saved Lives with COVID-19 Vaccination and Statistics of Our World Data. J Clin Trials. S32:001.

Sandbox games at the end of the day, but someone has to stoop to that level.

Take a data source that was accepted by [the covid promoters or believers] and used by the believers themselves: Our World Data.

At Our World Data, look at how many people are dying around the world. If you want to refute believers, you have to argue in their belief construct, that is, that there was a pandemic and that the pandemic, not the measures, killed the people.

This looks quite constant at around 56-57 million by 2020. The data is so clear that you don’t need statistics. You only need statistics if you don’t have any data. Real data can be seen in the raw data.

2020 is definitely higher with +6.3 million more deaths, so that was something measurable. Whether it is the virus or the measures cannot be determined purely from the numbers. Many people in poor countries may have starved to death during lockdowns. But that is not what this publication is about.

If it had been a pandemic, deaths would have had to decrease at some point. It certainly won’t be anymore [i.e. an increase in deaths] because more and more people are immune. The death process would therefore have to be at most the same in 2021.

… in 2020 there was no covid-19 vaccination, and in 2021 there was a covid-19 vaccination. The living circumstances on the planet were similar in 2020 and 2021. In 2020 and in 2021, we had covid-19 pandemics. The main difference in living circumstances of the global population was covid-19 vaccination in 2021. Our World Data confirms that covid-19 vaccination increased the “global mortality” in 2020, which was 6.30 million, by an additional 6.08 million in 2021, which means 96.5%, see Figure 1 below. The claim that vaccination reduced global mortality in 2020 by 63% in 2021 is a huge error of 159.5%.Sorli AS (2025). The Discrepancy Between the Number of Saved Lives with COVID-19 Vaccination and Statistics of Our World Data. J Clin Trials. S32:001.

But there is clearly a difference of 6 million people!

Corrupt Colorado Judge in Tina Peters Case Caught in a Lie While Claiming He’s Not Biased

The corrupt and biased Judge Matthew Barrett, who sentenced Tina Peters, is caught lying in his letter to the Governor, as he sticks to his erroneous and abusive sentencing of Tina Peters.

As the days and months go by, the sentencing judge in Tina Peters’ case doubles down on his sentencing of Tina Peters.

Here is Judge Barret during his sentencing of Tina Peters, spewing hateful, biased remarks at Tina. This is difficult for good Christian people to watch, it’s so hateful.

Judge Barrett sentenced Tina Peters to prison after a hateful rage in court. This was one of the worst courtroom rants in US history. The judge prevented Tina from providing evidence that supported her actions, ignored federal statutes like the Supremacy Clause as well as the actions of Federal employees like AG Garland and FBI Head Wray, who joined a conference call regarding Tina before her arrest.

Everything about this case reminds good people of Nazi/communist courts.  It is so difficult to believe that this would happen in this great country.

Yesterday, Judge Barrett filed a response in the case to Tina Peters’ attorneys, claiming he was not biased despite what the video above shows.

Judge Barrett was seething with rage when he sentenced Tina.

GOP-led Farm Bill Amendments Target Animal Tests in US, China, and Russia

New bipartisan amendments led by Republican lawmakers for the 2026 Farm Bill target USDA funding for animal tests in the U.S. and in adversarial nations, first uncovered by watchdog White Coat Waste.

The House Rules Committee is reviewing amendments now, and the full Farm Bill is expected to be voted on by the House during the week of April 27.

Two proposals submitted by Rep. Paul Gosar and cosponsored by Reps. Nancy Mace, Scott Perry, and Dina Titus would cut USDA funding for painful testing on dogs and cats, and prohibit the USDA from funding any animal tests “being conducted in, or performed in collaboration with” China, Russia, or other “countries of concern.”

The amendments result from White Coat Waste investigations in recent years that uncovered USDA funding for these kinds of animal tests and drew criticism and action from lawmakers and Trump Administration officials.

In 2024, White Coat Waste exposed USDA and National Institutes of Health funding for experiments at Cornell University that infected kittens with COVID and then killed them.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Senator Rand Paul featured the project in his Festivus waste report in 2024, citing White Coat’s work.

The USDA funding for Cornell’s COVID cat lab is set to run until May 31, 2026.

The group also uncovered USDA funding for deadly kitten testing at Auburn University.

The proposed Farm Bill amendment to defund foreign adversaries’ animal labs also follows a White Coat Waste investigation exposing how the Biden USDA funded a $1 million bird flu gain-of-function collaboration with Chinese researchers affiliated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology and its CCP-controlled parent organization.

The grant drew scrutiny from Senator Joni Ernst and Rep. Ben Cline, and, as Gateway Pundit previously reported, last year, Trump’s Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins cut funding for this dangerous animal research project and ended it early.

UK Biobank health data listed for sale in China, government confirms

Medical information of 500,000 participantsof one of the UK’s landmark scientific programmes, UK Biobank, were offered for sale online in China, the government has confirmed.

Technology minister Ian Murray said information of all members of the database was found listed for sale on the website Alibaba.

Murray told MPs the charity which runs UK Biobank had told the government about the breach on Monday. He said the information did not include names, addresses, contact details or telephone numbers.

However he said it could include gender, age, month and year of birth, socioeconomic status, lifestyle habits, and measures from biological samples.

The Biobank is a collection of health data offered by volunteers which has been used to help improvements in detection and treatment of dementia, some cancers and Parkinson’s.

It has collected intimate details – including whole body scans, DNA sequences and their medical records – from hundreds of thousands of volunteers for over two decades. The project has led to more than 18,000 scientific publications.

Participants were aged from 40 to 69 when they were recruited between 2006 and 2010.

UK Biobank said it was investigating the incident and thanked the UK and Chinese governments, as well as Alibaba, for support and cooperation.

“We understand that the existence of these listings, even temporarily, will be concerning to you,” Chief Executive Professor Sir Rory Collins said in a message to participants.

“We want to reassure you that all the data are de-identified; they do not contain any personally identifying information (such as names, addresses, dates of birth, and NHS numbers).”

Sir Rory told volunteers in his letter the data involved in the incident had been made available to researchers at three institutions.

He added the data was “swiftly” removed by Alibaba, following support from the UK and Chinese government, but the data’s appearance to a “clear breach of the contract signed by these academic institutions”.

“They, along with the individuals involved, have had their access suspended,” Sir Rory added.

Murray told MPs the government has been told no purchases were made from the three listings on the website.

Alibaba has been contacted for comment.

RFK Jr. Blasts Canada’s ‘Abhorrent’ Assisted Suicide Laws: US Can’t Be ‘Moral Society’ by Embracing Them

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. forcefully condemned Canada’s liberal assisted suicide laws during a Capitol Hill hearing Wednesday.

The comments came as he testified before the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate HELP Committee.

At one point, Kennedy was asked about assisted suicide policies.

“I think those laws are abhorrent,” Kennedy said.

He pointed to Canada as an example of where such policies can lead.

“And we just see in Canada today, I think the number one cause of death is assisted suicide,” he added.

Kennedy said the issue extends beyond individual choice.

“And as you say, it targets people with disabilities and people who are struggling in their lives,” he said.

He warned about their impact on any society that wants to call itself moral.

“I don’t think we can be a moral society; we can’t be a moral authority around the globe if that becomes institutionalized throughout our society,” Kennedy said.

He also expressed his willingness to work with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to address the issue.

“I am happy to work with you in whatever way we can,” he said.

Canada’s medical assistance in dying program, known as MAID, has been controversial from the start.

The Canadian government describes suicide as a nuanced issue and one of personal choice, and the criteria to qualify are lax.

At age 18, Canadians can choose suicide if they “make a voluntary request that is not the result of external pressure” and understand what they are requesting, so long as they are “in an advanced state of irreversible decline in capability.”

The MAID program also assists people in taking their own lives if they experience “enduring and intolerable physical or psychological suffering that cannot be alleviated under conditions the person considers acceptable.”

Canada is projected to approach 100,000 assisted deaths before the program’s 10th anniversary this summer, The New York Post reported.

As of 2024, total assisted suicide deaths reached 76,475, far exceeding the 42,042 Canadians who were killed in World War II.

Dem governor candidates defend Newsom’s homelessness record despite $24 billion spent

The Golden State boasts as much as 50% of the nation’s homeless population and has spent a whopping $24 billion to address the problem.

Six gubernatorial candidates faced-off on a debate stage in San Francisco Wednesday night and offered A-F grades on Gov. Gavin Newsom’s handling of the issue.

Here’s what they said:

Katie Porter: ‘B‘

“I’m a notoriously tough grader, but I would probably give him a B on homelessness,” said Democrat Katie Porter, stating her view that the homelessness crisis in California is due to a “housing problem.”

“We’re not going to solve homelessness without bringing down the cost of housing,” she said.

Porter pledged to “fund homelessness prevention,” saying an “interim housing or shelter situation” is the solution.

“For every person we put into permanent supportive housing, somebody else loses their home and takes their place. That’s why Californians feel like we’re not making progress despite spending significant money,” Porter said.

Federal Appeals Court Blocks President Trump’s Policy Barring Illegals From Seeking Asylum

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday blocked President Trump’s policy barring illegal aliens from seeking asylum.

In February 2025, the anti-American ACLU and Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center sued the Trump Administration over its asylum policy.

A federal judge last July blocked President Trump’s policy banning illegals who cross the border from seeking asylum.

US District Judge Randolph Moss, an Obama appointee, said President Trump does not have the authority to bypass immigration law that Congress has enacted.

President Trump appealed Judge Moss’s decision.

On Friday, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the lower court and blocked Trump’s asylum policy.

The three-judge panel voted 2-1 to block Trump’s asylum policy.

Judge J. Michelle Childs (Biden) and Judge Cornelia Pillard (Obama) voted against Trump. Judge Justin Walker (Trump) dissented in part.

“We conclude that the [Immigration and Nationality Act’s] text, structure, and history make clear that in supplying power to suspend entry by Presidential proclamation, Congress did not intend to grant the Executive the expansive removal authority it asserts,” Judge Childs wrote for the majority, according to CBS News.

“The Proclamation and Guidance are thus unlawful to the extent that they circumvent the INA’s removal procedures and cast aside federal laws affording individuals the right to apply and be considered for asylum or withholding of removal protections,” Childs added.
