Judge Blocks Trump Admin From Banning Illegal Immigrants From Social Programs

A federal judge on Sept. 10 ordered four federal agencies to stop banning illegal immigrants from programs such as Head Start, which provides child care for poorer families.

U.S. District Judge Mary McElroy said the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Justice, the Department of Education, and the Department of Labor must halt, at least for now, efforts to remove illegal immigrants from the programs.

HHS and other agencies said in July they were reinterpreting a federal law called the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which states that illegal immigrants cannot obtain “federal public benefits.”

Under previous interpretations, people accessing certain programs that lawmakers intended only for Americans and legal immigrants did not need to provide proof of legal status, officials said.

As Zachary Stieber reports for The Epoch Times, twenty attorneys general sued, alleging the new interpretation wrongly applied to programs that fell outside the act. In a motion for a preliminary injunction, or a block while the case proceeds, they also said that the government failed to provide “fair notice” to states of the change.

McElroy sided with the states, writing on Wednesday that “while reasonable policymakers can debate the merits of restricting access to programs to lawful citizens—and it is surely not this Court’s job to wade into that debate—the Agencies offer at best incomplete answers to serious questions.”

That appears to violate the Administrative Procedure Act, which lets judges block agency actions determined to be “arbitrary, capricious, an abuse of discretion, or otherwise not in accordance with law,” she said.

McElroy also pointed to the change in interpretation from decades of precedent.

“The Government argues that it has somehow interpreted this statute incorrectly for the nearly thirty years that it has been the law,” she said.

“In its view, everyone (from every past administration) has misunderstood it from the start—at least until last month, when the right way to read it became clear to the Government. The Court is skeptical of that.”

The four agencies, which had pointed to an order from President Donald Trump that directed officials to make sure that taxpayer-funded benefits are not going to illegal immigrants, did not respond to requests for comment.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat and one of the attorneys general who sued over the change, said in a statement that “with this victory, we are protecting children’s education, safeguarding critical health care, and preserving the safety net that keeps families afloat.”

Gov. JB Pritzker Blames Trump After Charlie Kirk Assassinated: ‘President’s Rhetoric Often Foments’ Violence

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, Illinois’ left-wing Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker decried “political violence” while accusing President Donald Trump of “fomenting” it — despite Pritzker’s own recent history of incendiary comments.

The extremist governor was appearing at the FABTECH exposition at Chicago’s McCormick Place expo center when he was asked by a member of the press about the shooting and murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, which had occurred only moments before Pritzker stepped to the microphones.

After being asked his thoughts on the shooting in Utah, Pritzker had a quick word of sympathy for Kirk’s family, but then went straight to blaming conservatives and Donald Trump.

“Charlie Kirk has become a target for somebody. I don’t know whether it’s political violence, because I don’t know who did it,” Pritzker disingenuously said.

“But I will say that political violence, unfortunately, has been ratcheting up in this country,” he continued. “We saw the shootings, the killings in Minnesota. Uh, we’ve seen other political violence occur in other states. And I would just say, uh, it’s gotta stop.”

“And I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country. I think the president’s rhetoric often foments it,” he said.

He went on to claim that “January 6” was “political violence” despite the fact that the only people killed were two Trump supporters.

Sick Loon Elizabeth Warren Snaps at Calls to Tone Down Rhetoric After Charlie Kirk Assassination: ‘Oh Please! Why Don’t You Start With the President!’

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s shocking assassination on Wednesday afternoon at Utah Valley University, where he was fatally shot in the neck, Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren scoffed at and mocked calls for de-escalating heated political rhetoric from the left.

Speaking to CNN, Warren lashed out and deflected blame onto President Donald Trump and his “ugly” words, as the nation grappled with what was clearly a politically motivated murder.

Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was gunned down while speaking at a campus event, with his killer still at large as of Wednesday evening.

“Democratic senator Elizabeth Warren was asked about, you know, some of the Republicans out there who came out and said, ‘It’s Democrats. They need to lower the temperature. That is the problem here.’ She responded to that with this,” OutFront host Erin Burnett said before playing a clip of the far-left senator’s response.

“Oh, please. Right. Why don’t you start with the president of the United States? Right? And every ugly. Mean he has. posted and every ugly word,” Warren fired back.

New bombshell study reveals ‘assassination culture’ spreading on the left under President Trump

A disturbing new report reveals that violent political rhetoric online, including calls for the murder of public figures like President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, is being increasingly normalized, particularly on the left.

The report, from Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), found that a growing number of people are willing to justify and even applaud killing in the name of politics and a warped sense of social justice. The chilling change appears to have accelerated in recent months.

“What was formerly taboo culturally has become acceptable,” Joel Finkelstein, the lead author of the report, told Fox News Digital. “We are seeing a clear shift – glorification, increased attempts and changing norms – all converging into what we define as ‘assassination culture.’”

The NCRI study traces the cultural shift back to the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Mangione in December 2024. What followed, researchers say, was a viral wave of memes that turned Mangione into a folk hero.

According to the study, these memes have sparked copycat behavior targeting other figures associated with wealth and conservative politics.

DC Grand Jury Declines to Indict DC Lawyer and West Point Grad Charged with Assaulting and Threatening to Kill National Guardsmen

A DC grand jury has once again declined to indict an individual charged with a serious crime against federal agents.

On Tuesday it was reported that a DC grand jury declined to indict a DC attorney and West Point grad charged with assaulting and threatening to kill National Guardsmen last month.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro charged Paul Bryant for physically assaulting a National Guardsman patrolling the streets of DC on Trump’s orders.

Bryant threatened the guardsmen and said, “I’ll kill you.”

“The charges against Bryant are the most serious yet to be rejected by a grand jury. One count against him under a D.C. Code statute for threats to injure another person carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Another count for threatening a federal official carries a maximum of 10 years,” WUSA9 reported.

WUSA9 reported:

A federal grand jury has declined to indict a D.C. lawyer accused of assaulting and threatening members of the National Guard, WUSA9 has learned.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office informed a magistrate judge Tuesday that grand jurors had returned a no true bill for Paul Anthony Bryant, according to two people familiar with the matter. The rejection is at least the eighth time in the last month a grand jury has declined to charge felonies sought by Pirro’s office.

Bryant was arrested roughly an hour-and-a-half after an alleged Aug. 24 incident involving members of the National Guard who were patrolling on 14th Street Northwest as part of President Donald Trump’s federal surge in D.C. In an affidavit filed in federal court, investigators accused Bryant of approaching the Guardsmen while yelling things, including “These are our streets!” and, allegedly, “I’ll kill you.” Before leaving the area, according to the affidavit, Bryant “threw his left shoulder” into one of the Guardsmen’s shoulders.

Bryant, a graduate of West Point and Columbia Law School, told a judge the charges were “baseless” and derided prosecutors for filing a case predicated on hearsay. Because members of the National Guard patrolling D.C. do not wear body cameras, Bryant’s attorney said there is no video of the alleged incident.

Fake news is growing at an alarming rate during Trump’s second term in office

The Epstein case, the Trump assassination and Russian double agents being poisoned in the UK are all stories which read like spy novels. How much of these stories which we read about are actually true?

With the recent interview by prosecutors of Ghislaine Maxwell shocking some with its whitewash of Donald Trump with regards to the Epstein saga, one truth rings out for those who worry about the West’s democratic legitimacy. Fake news is unquestionably on the rise. For Maxwell to have struck a deal with Trump there must have been a media mind-set there all along which could distort a narrative so much that it makes Trump come out of the Epstein saga as innocent, despite the proven close proximity of these two men for decades.

It is believed that it was Maxwell who revealed details of a letter or note written to Epstein by Trump which included a drawing of a naked women. Trump, stupidly denied this and claimed he never did ‘doodles’ which only pushed a number of amateur hacks to dig up further examples of his doodles. But the jab at Trump was well thought out. It hit home as she was soon transferred to a lower security jail with better privileges and swiftly, it would seem, is being processed so that Trump can pardon her and she can leave the U.S.

The U.S. media, in reporting on the hours of interviews and the tome of a transcript which was leaked to them, are simply unable to do the most elementary thing that all journalists should do naturally when being offered information: be sceptical.

There is no trace of any scepticism though whatsoever which gives a clue just how journalists have sunk in the west as a profession which it was believed, once upon a time, was supposed to hold elites to account. What we are witnessing with the Maxwell interview is the most disingenuous pack of lies crafted specifically to clear Trump, Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton being packaged by journalists who know they are playing a nefarious role in re-writing the whole Epstein story. A whitewash on a grand scale which will probably work to get Trump, Clinton and Prince Andrew off the hook as it will be the media itself which repeats and endorses it over a longer period. It will stick.

Yet in recent times, such a scandal as Maxwell’s stunt, hardly stands alone. There have been a number of major media distortions to serve as a convenient support mechanism for elites both in the U.S. and in the UK.

Just recently in the US, fringe media outlets and their social media accounts have been looking at the so-called Trump assassination attempt in July 2024, questioning whether the President was actually shot at all or faked it using a trick mastered by Hollywood actors.

A retired police detective lieutenant named Duane Lee Proctor alleged U.S. President Donald Trump applied fake blood from a “blood capsule” during the assassination attempt that famously bloodied his ear at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

It’s hardly surprising the shooting has stirred such conspiracy theories though given the sheer level of media manipulation Trump is capable of and, perhaps also importantly, the willingness for big media to comply with the narrative offered.

Rep. James Comer Slams Dems for ‘Cherry-Picking’ Epstein Docs to Target Trump – House Oversight Committee Releases All Documents and Records Received From Late Pedophile’s Estate

Dems tried to leak bits of information, now the Oversight Committee has released it all.

Absolutely no one is surprised that the Democrats in the House Oversight Committee would selectively choose materials from the first batch of documents and records sent by the Jeffrey Epstein estate, and try to make a show out of it.

After the Democrats leaked the 2003 Epstein Birthday Book, where there is a patently fake card attributed to Trump, and tried to turn it into a big scandal, the Committee Chairman James Comer lambasted them on social media.

The Republican representative from Kentucky called it ‘appalling’ that Oversight Democrats are ‘cherry-picking documents and politicizing information received from the Epstein Estate today’.

Stephen King Makes the Dumbest Prediction About Trump Supporters

Stephen King seems to have replaced his talent for weaving chilling tales with an unhealthy obsession with Donald Trump and his supporters. Instead of focusing on novels, King has turned himself into yet another left-wing pundit who just happens to have a long list of bestsellers on his résumé.

And while his books used to inspire genuine fear, his political predictions are now nothing more than laughable, partisan nonsense. His latest declaration is so ridiculous, it proves just how consumed he’s become with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

According to King, years from now, many Americans who voted for Donald Trump will deny ever having done so. He told The Sunday Times: “Twenty or 30 years down the line, when I’ll be dead and you’ll be old, I think a lot of people are going to say, ‘Well, I never voted for Trump.’” His theory is that Trump voters will someday feel so much cultural backlash and guilt that they’ll try to erase their support from history. It’s a typically smug liberal fantasy—rooted not in reality, but in the assumption that Trump’s presidency was some kind of national disgrace.

The problem for King is that all the available evidence points in the opposite direction. Far from being ashamed of backing Trump, Republicans remain overwhelmingly loyal to him. His approval ratings among GOP voters consistently dominate, and he continues to shore up support thanks to his unapologetic America First policies. His common-sense approaches to immigration enforcement and crime resonate strongly with voters who see those issues as top priorities. If anything, more Republicans today are proudly wearing their MAGA credentials than in 2016. King’s prediction that these voters will suddenly develop mass amnesia is not only absurd; it reeks of the elitist contempt for ordinary Americans that the left can never quite hide.

Appeals Court Stacked with Far-Left Judges Sides with Biden Judge, Says Trump Can’t Unilaterally Cut Billions in Foreign Aid

On Friday, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals sided with a radical Biden judge and said President Trump could not unilaterally cut billions in foreign aid.

Last Wednesday, US District Judge Amir Ali, a Biden appointee, blocked President Trump from cutting billions of dollars in USAID and foreign aid that Congress authorized.

Trump immediately appealed Judge Ali’s ruling.

“President Trump has the executive authority to ensure that all foreign aid is accountable to taxpayers and aligns with the America First priorities people voted for,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said in a statement to Reuters.

On Friday, a three-judge panel ruled 2-1 against President Trump.

The three-judge panel included: Majority: Pillard (Obama), Pan (Biden), and Dissent: Walker (Trump).

Reuters reported:

A U.S. appeals court on Friday declined to block a lower court ruling that said President Donald Trump’s administration could not unilaterally cut billions of dollars of foreign aid, requiring the administration to quickly move to spend funds on projects authorized by Congress.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit made its ruling just days after a lower court ruled that the administration should take steps to spend roughly $11 billion on foreign aid projects before Congressional authorization for the spending expires in September.

Earlier this year, Judge Ali temporarily blocked President Trump from cancelling foreign aid contracts.

Judge Ali ordered the Trump Admin to restore funding for the foreign aid contractors after Trump froze US foreign aid for 90 days.

JB Pritzker Says He Has Moles in Trump Administration and Military Feeding him Information on Trump’s Law Enforcement Operations – Claims DHS Plans to “Invade” Chicago Neighborhoods

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker told former White House Press Secretary and MSNBC host Jen Psaki that he is being tipped off on Trump’s plans to send troops and federal agents to Chicago by people in the Trump Administration and the military “who have let us know things without, you know, having permission to do so.”

“I would call some of that rumor, but, you know, well sourced rumors,” he said.

This comes as President Trump plans federal law enforcement operations and potential National Guard deployment in the Windy City after at least 14 were killed and nearly 100 injured in shootings over the last two weekends.

It was revealed last week that 200 Homeland Security Officials will be deployed in Chicago as soon as this week and will potentially stay for the entire month of September.

The enforcement operations will be centered on arresting illegal aliens in the sanctuary state of Illinois, but the National Guard could be used to quell violent rioters, as done in Los Angeles, or to deter crime, as we are seeing in Washington, DC.
