There Is Nothing Green About the ‘Green’ Agenda

Now that the Democrats have lost their lock grip on power, what’s a green activist to do? It’s almost comical how the climate left is trying to cloak their agenda in terms they think will melt in Republicans’ ears. For example, Jennifer Granholm, energy secretary in the Biden administration recently penned an opinion piece arguing that President Trump is playing right into Communist China’s evil hands by killing off America’s green economy.

Translation: The left is furious that Trump has halted the flow of billions of taxpayers’ dollars to subsidize electric vehicles that nobody wants and only the well-off can afford. The new president is killing the “green economy,” as Granholm puts it.

There is nothing green about the climate left’s solutions.

If the climate movement was truly sincere and intellectually honest in its desire to stop actions contributing to global environmental degradation, it would stand fast against solar panels and electric vehicles. There is nothing green about the climate left’s solutions.

There is nothing environmentally friendly about using enslaved children in the Congo to mine cobalt for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries used in EVs. They labor with crude tools and bare hands, breathing in cobalt’s toxic dust in cramped pits. Runoff infused with cobalt and other chemicals contaminate the water supply. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, green activists sit blithely unaware or unconcerned in the comfort of their own homes. They are saving the world, they smugly assure themselves, while children suffer in an environmental hellhole.

Democrat Senator Chris Coons Offers an Insane Reason to Justify Spending Millions of Taxpayer Dollars on Sesame Street in IRAQ Via USAID

One elected Democrat official decided to step up and defend an item that any person with common sense would deem absolutely asinine.

Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) appeared on CNN on Saturday and was asked about the Trump Administration’s efforts to close down USAID.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, USAID has been in the crosshairs for the past week, given the billions of dollars of waste exposed by DOGE. Some of the examples exposed have been absolutely stunning.

In one instance, the agency funneled $5 billion in 2014 to ignite riots in Ukraine, according to RFK Jr.

While it would be otherwise expected for a Democrat to smear Trump as heartless and cruel regarding his stance on getting rid of government waste, Coons decided to embarrass himself for an different reason on national television.

During their discussion, host Michael Smerconish asked the Delaware senator if he could justify spending $20 million of taxpayer money on Sesame Street in Iraq.

“Is funding Sesame Street (in Iraq) a judicious use of soft power?” Smerconish asked.

Instead avoiding the question as one would expect from a dishonest Democrat, Coons went ALL IN on defending the indefensible with this insane response.

“This isn’t just funding a kids show for children, millions of children in countries like Iraq,” Coons claimed.

“It’s a show that helps teach values, helps teach public health, helps prevent kids from dying from dysentery and disease, and helps push values like collaboration, peacefulness, cooperation in a society where the alternative is ISIS extremism and terrorism,” he added.

Spending money on publicly funded television in America is bad enough, but trying to justify its use in a country that has been all-but taken over Iran is another level of bad.

Wikileaks: USAID Spent Half-Billion Influencing Journalism through Shady NGO “Internews Network”

The fallout and aftermath of Elon Musk’s investigation into USAID as part of President Trump’s radical revolution in his second-term in office, has revealed stunning reports of government funding for far-left efforts and wasteful efforts. Musk has said that Trump has authorized him to look into the Department of EducationConsumer Financial Protection Bureau, and explosively, the Pentagon.

Wikileaks is now claiming that another part of the far-left USAID funding has been influencing foreign and domestic media with nearly half-a-billion dollars in U.S. taxpayer funding for the “Internews Network”, a non-profit funded primarily by the government that trained journalists, pushed certain news and agenda that fit the government’s desires, and also that the network developed “exclusion lists” that were meant to pressure advertisers to bankrupt other media outlets that did not serve the government’s agenda.

The U.S. government was also pushing such ‘exclusion lists’ through a variety of other state-supported organizations and entities, such as the Stanford Internet Observatory, the University of Washington, Yale, Newsguard, and by coercing big tech companies like Facebook, Amazon, and Google. This was all part of the left’s Censorship Industrial Complex.

The Gateway Pundit is litigating against the government at the moment in Missouri v. Biden on related issues about censorship, deplatforming, and demonetization.

Internews supported and funded those censorship efforts.

Department of Education Cuts $15 Million in DEI Grants at Three Universities

Although Democrats are melting down over Elon Musk and President Trump’s attempts to downsize the federal government and ending woke DEI programs, throwing tantrums will not stop what’s coming.

Just days after taking office, President Trump signed a Memorandum placing all federal Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) employees on administrative leave, pending the termination of these programs under Trump’s “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing and Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions” Executive Order.

President Trump has also made it clear that the Department of Education (DOE) is set for major changes, if not complete closure.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Democrats, angry that an agency with an abysmal record for student achievement may actually have to face questions about its failures, attempted to barge their way into the DOE building in their latest publicity stunt.

Despite their petulant mewings, on Friday, the DOE announced it had canceled $15 million in federal grants that were used to fund diversity programs at three universities in order to align with the President’s Executive Order.

Trump Suspends $5 Billion Electric Vehicle Charging Station Program

President Donald Trump’s administration halted the $5 billion Biden electric vehicle charging program, which has been criticized for its poor production of charging stations.

Emily Biondi, the associate administrator for the Office of Planning, Environment, and Realty, in a letter to the state Department of Transportation directors on Thursday, said the administration has suspended the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program.

“The new leadership of the Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) has decided to review the policies underlying the implementation of the NEVI Formula Program. Accordingly, the current NEVI Formula Program Guidance dated June 11, 2024, and all prior versions of this guidance are rescinded,” Biondi wrote.

“As result of the rescission of the NEVI Formula Program Guidance, FHWA is also immediately suspending the approval of all State Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment plans for all fiscal years. Therefore, effective immediately, no new obligations may occur under the NEVI Formula Program until the updated final NEVI Formula Program Guidance is issued and new State plans are submitted and approved,” the official continued.

Lawmakers included the $5 billion program in the $1.2 trillion so-called infrastructure bill, more formally known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

The program had aimed to create more than 6,000 charging stations and has served as an embarrassment for then-Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

In September 2023, Buttigieg admitted he had trouble finding an electric charging station while he was traveling on the road.

USAID Funneled Nearly $800 Million To ‘Gender Transformative’ Global Censorship Group

America’s foreign aid agency, USAID, has given nearly $800 million to a group that has pushed censorship and suppressed “heteronormativity” across the globe, according to documents reviewed by The Federalist.

The Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS) took in $799.7 million in funding from 2015 to 2021, per IRS tax documentsAccording to InfluenceWatch, “The organization is solely funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).”

As President Donald Trump pushes to “wind down” USAID — which has apparently become a massive “scam on U.S. taxpayers” — government funding disclosures have brought to light the often frivolous, and in this case nefarious, use of public tax dollars. As The Federalist previously reported, the federal government has been bankrolling America’s legacy media outlets for years with tens of millions of dollars in lucrative contracts

CEPPS — whose website is no longer public —  claims to be a “nonpartisan” group focused on global “democratic development,” according to an archived webpage. But its website suggests that, while corporate media have been pushing propaganda domestically, CEPPS has been advancing censorship — and radical gender ideology — throughout the rest of the world.

‘Worse Than World War II’ – Visualizing US National Debt (As A Percent Of GDP) Since 1900

This year, U.S. national debt is set to approach 100% of GDP, up from 36% in 2005.

By 2035, the tab is projected to reach 118.5% of GDP as higher debt costs steepen the deficit, fueling further government borrowing. Today, the deficit stands at $1.9 trillion with net interest and mandatory spending outpacing revenues.

This graphic, via Visual Capitalist’s Dorothy Neufeld, shows U.S. federal debt projections to 2035, based on data from the Congressional Budget Office.

Why did Republicans fund ‘transgender dance’ in Bangladesh?

As Trump attacks foreign spending on “woke” initiatives, a GOP-aligned outfit has largely escaped scrutiny, despite using taxpayer funds to sponsor “transgender dance performances” and what it called the “largest published survey of LGBTI people in Bangladesh.”

According to documents obtained by The Grayzone, the US-funded International Republican Institute sees gay and transgender people as uniquely disruptive actors who can be deployed to manipulate political realities overseas, stating, “LGBTI people tend to participate in social change activities to eventually bring changes to politics.”

Read part one of The Grayzone’s investigation into International Republican Institute’s activities in Bangladesh here.

For years, the Republican Party-aligned International Republican Institute’s (IRI) agenda in Bangladesh has been dominated by ethnic minority and transgender issues, with leaked documents revealing the Institute sponsored “the largest published survey of LGBTI people in Bangladesh” and that a full 24% of the 1,868 Bangladeshis who participated in IRI programs in 2019 and 2020 were transgender.

The IRI’s cultural activities were conducted with explicitly subversive objectives, aiming to recruit socially excluded groups as regime change activists. They mirrored the US government’s machinations in Cuba, where, as The Grayzone reported, USAID funded rappers, artists, and “desocialized and marginalized youth” to undermine the country’s socialist government.

Since its founding in 1983, the congressionally-funded IRI has been run by Republican politicians and operatives dedicated to the cause of “democracy promotion” abroad. IRI’s Chairman, Sen. Dan Sullivan, is a vehement opponent of same sex marriage who signed on to a GOP letter calling to restrict the participation of transgender youth in sports. While many of the institute’s board members are Never Trump Republicans like Sen. Mitt Romney, the board also includes Sen. Tom Cotton, a top Trump ally who strongly opposes transgender medical interventions for youth.

The IRI’s eyebrow-raising statistics on trans participation in regime change activities were included in an internal report on its PAIRS (“Promoting Accountability, Inclusivity, and Resiliency Support”) Program, which was obtained by The Grayzone in 2024. The report boasts that “IRI issued 11 advocacy grants to artists, musicians, performers or organizations that created 225 art products addressing political and social issues that were viewed nearly 400,000 times [and] supported three civil society organizations from LGBTI, Bihari and ethnic communities to train 77 activists and engage 326 citizens to develop 43 specific policy demands, which were proposed before 65 government officials.”

Hysterical Harpies Hollering About Elon Musk’s Access to Government Docs Should Make You Laugh

The man who brought you Tesla, StarLink, SpaceX, Neuralink, X.com, and other norm-breaking companies is now the target of screeching, hysterical harpies hyping the Democrat narrative that Elon Musk has no right to put eyes on any government documents. Sure, ladies, sure. Head pat.

They accuse Elon Musk of “hacking” government documents. They accuse him of stealing your social security number from the IRS. Indeed, the world’s richest man is “getting access to the sensitive federal payment system!” Musk, who’s working for free to save the government money, is going to steal your money! “Elon Musk is rooting around highly sensitive data, and he might not even have been properly vetted,” they fretted.

And he’s unelected to boot.

I can understand that an unelected bureaucrat’s finger in the government pie might be worrisome. I worried a lot when the elected Barack Obama put organizations out of business that dared call for the end of government profligacy back in 2012. I worried when the elected Joe Biden hired 87,000 unelected IRS police armed with guns to collect taxes.

But how galling is it that an unelected person — an unvetted billionaire! — saves the American public money? How dare he pull the nation from the brink of insolvency and stop in its tracks the forever inflation caused by the unelected Cloward Piven-inspired spending by Dementia Joe’s unelected presidential stand-ins.

So concerned with the idea that Elon Musk is getting a look at sensitive government documents that Democrats that Nancy Pelosi and her flying monkeys have proposed a bill they call “The Taxpayer Data Protection Act.” It will “prevent Elon Musk and his minions from accessing the private data of everyday Americans to serve their own interests” and “stop people with conflicts of interest or without a security clearance from accessing the highly sensitive Treasury Department payment system.” This, of course, is according to the woman whose insider information has turned her from a thousandaire to a multimillionaire over the decades for being a “public servant.”

And, as usual, Nancy’s wrong. She and her fellow screamers can harp and howl at the moon, but chances are that Elon Musk isn’t looking at anyone’s private information — and regarding a security clearance? Well, has she stopped to smell herself?

How It Worked

If you wondered since 2016 how come the blob and the Democratic Party were aligned so exquisitely in their operations to destroy populism (personified by Mr. Trump) and to permanently entrench single party power in America for all time to come, it’s because an endless font of taxpayer money was streamed into countless non-governmental orgs creating a shadow civil service of Democratic Party activists that melded seamlessly with the big policy-making agencies.

The money was laundered through manifold layers of these orgs and their sub-orgs to pay for an ongoing “color revolution” in the USA — lawfare, election fraud, propaganda, censorship, career cancellation, medical fuckery, open borders, and other totalitarian ploys — while enriching political players at all those manifold layers from multi-millionaire congressmen and senators to thousands of NGO officials making six-figure salaries to street hustlers like Patrisse Cullors of Black Lives Matter and “anti-racism” racist Ibram X. Kendi and his $50-million Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University (recently axed) — and, of course, ultimately the former Potemkin president “Joe Biden” and his family.

It was all this money that drove eight years of sponsored insanity. Mainly, it kept the hands of the Democratic Party firmly on the levers of power so that nothing could be done about the insults and injuries they were inflicting on our country. So, is it a mystery now that nobody was prosecuted for burning the cities in 2020, or for magically creating millions of extra “Joe Biden” votes out of nowhere that year, or setting up the kickback machine from Ukraine to Congress, or forcing millions to get a janky vaccine?
