Leftists Overwhelm Small Farm With Death Threats For Hosting Conservative Think Tank

In my Oct. 2 article for The Federalist, I detailed a chilling 2,500 percent spike in indexed internet content pairing “Trump” with “fascist” over the past 10 years, with the biggest surge happening since mid-2024. This spike in dangerous rhetoric is evidence of a left-wing effort to dehumanize conservatives as existential threats.

From Hillary Clinton likening Trump’s rallies to Nazi gatherings to Kamala Harris branding him a “fascist” threat to democracy, the language has poisoned discourse and, as we’ve seen, inspired real-world harm — including assassination attempts on Trump and the recent murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk by a radical immersed in anti-Trump echo chambers.

This toxic playbook has now played out in microcosm in Austin, Texas, where a Reddit mob’s incendiary pressure campaign against a local farm not only forced an event cancellation for a conservative group, but allegedly escalated to death threats against the owners and their employees.

It’s a stark reminder: Words like “fascist” aren’t just insults; they’re weapons.

The saga began on Oct. 15, 2025, when a Reddit user in the r/Austin subreddit posted a thread titled “Yikes. Boggy Creek Farms is hosting Texas Public Policy Foundation.” The post lambasted the conservative think tank Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF), my employer, as a “fascist” front for Christian nationalism, Project 2025, and billionaire oil interests, urging users to shame the farm into canceling a family-friendly event on regenerative agriculture and “Make America Healthy Again” for the TPPF-affiliated Liberty Leadership Council, a 40-and-under professional organization.

The event, which went on as scheduled at TPPF’s offices, featured Texas Republican state Rep. Helen Kerwin (mother of the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins), the author of a bill to keep PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl) chemicals out of sewage-based fertilizer — a cause that one would presume would see support across the political spectrum.

Commenters quickly piled on, calling for boycotts, supplier drops, and even fake RSVPs to sabotage the gathering. One user equated hosting TPPF to platforming the Klan or Nazis, framing the venue’s desired “neutrality” as complicity with “oppressors.” The thread, which garnered hundreds of upvotes and comments, has since been deleted by the original poster, but its impact was immediate and devastating.

Virginia Democrat Donor Shouts Racist Slurs at Winsome Earle-Sears — at His Son’s Football Game

Can you imagine letting your hate consume you so much that you would shout something racist at a politician you don’t agree with — and potentially embarrass your son at his football game? That didn’t bother Scott Pogorelc.

At the James Madison University football game on Saturday, Pogorelc shouted at Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears (R-Va.), who is the GOP nominee in Virginia’s race for governor, to “Go back to Haiti” and called her a “traitor.” And someone caught the racist dolt on camera.

Classy, amirite? For the record, Earle-Sears was born in Jamaica, not Haiti, and she’s an American citizen.

Pogorelc is also the father of one of JMU’s players. His son is a senior offensive lineman, and regardless of his politics, I can’t help but think that James Pogorelc might think that his dad is embarrassing.

Labour Gov’t Accused of ‘Sabotaging’ Child Rape Grooming Gang Inquiry as Victims Resign

The fledgling official inquiry into the child rape grooming gang scandal is facing accusations of being compromised as members of the victims’ panel resigned on Monday, citing “disturbing conflicts of interests” among those set to lead the investigation.

Following months of domestic and international pressure, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer backtracked from his initial opposition to conducting a national inquiry with statutory authority on the grooming gang scandal, after previously tarring the idea as “far-right”.

In addition to examining the scourge of mostly Pakistani Muslims sexually exploiting and raping mostly young working-class white girls, the inquiry is set to examine the failures of local officials, police, and care workers, many of whom have been found to have ignored or covered up the scandal out of politically correct concerns. Victims, who were often exploited for years, were frequently dismissed by authorities at the time as “prostitutes” despite being under the age of consent.

On Monday, Fiona Goddard, a grooming gang survivor, resigned from the inquiry’s Victims/Survivor Liaison Panel, after discovering that the planned chairs of the inquiry are reportedly set to include a police officer and a social worker, which she asserted were the “very two services that contributed most to the cover up of the national mass rape and trafficking of children.”

“This is a disturbing conflict of interest, and I fear the lack of trust in services from years of failings and corruption will have a negative impact in survivor engagement with this inquiry,” Goddard wrote in her resignation letter.

She noted that in the 2019 trial against her abusers, members of the jury were dismissed if they had any connection to the police or social services to prevent bias from impacting the decision.

“This inquiry should be held to the same stands as a criminal case, if not higher,” Goddard said. “Having a police officer or social worker leading the inquiry would once again be letting services mark their own homework, the shortlisting of these potential chairs shows the government’s complete lack of understanding of the level of corruption and failings involved in this scandal.”

Married Congressman Allegedly Had Affair with Aide Before She Died by Lighting Herself on Fire — Police Block Media Inquiries

Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales has been accused of carrying on an extramarital affair with his senior aide, Regina Santos-Aviles, who tragically died after dousing herself in gasoline and setting herself on fire last month.

Gonzales, 43, a married father of six representing Texas’s 23rd Congressional District, which stretches from San Antonio through Uvalde to El Paso, hired Santos-Aviles, 35, as his regional district director in 2021.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, local police are stonewalling the release of critical evidence, including the 911 call, surveillance video, and police records.

Sources told the outlet that the affair began shortly after her hiring and continued “for some time.”

Santos-Aviles, a married mother of an eight-year-old son who was separated from her husband Adrian Aviles, was often seen by Gonzales’s side, including during high-profile events like Elon Musk’s 2023 tour of the Mexico border in Eagle Pass.

The tragic incident occurred on September 13, when Santos-Aviles poured gasoline over herself in the backyard of her Uvalde home and was engulfed in flames. She was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital but succumbed to her injuries the next day.

Home surveillance cameras installed by her estranged husband captured the horrifying moment, and the footage has reportedly been handed over to the Texas Department of Public Safety crime lab for analysis.

Investigators have ruled it a self-immolation, with no evidence suggesting anyone else was involved.

However, the Uvalde Police Department has refused to release key records, petitioning the state Attorney General to keep them sealed, which the Daily Mail noted is an unusual move. The secrecy has sparked speculation about political favors being done for Gonzalez.

Santos-Aviles’s mother, Nora Gonzales (no relation to the congressman), told the San Antonio Express-News that her daughter’s final words were “I don’t want to die,” describing the incident as a tragic accident.

Virginia AG candidate Jay Jones has complicated history on blackface scandal that rocked Democrats

emocratic Virginia attorney general hopeful Jay Jones gave an impassioned speech on race in 2019 which criticized then-Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam over wearing blackface — and then Jones embraced and campaigned with the disgraced Democratic governor during his unsuccessful bid to be attorney general in 2021 and again during his current bid in 2025.

The yearbook photo depicting two people, one dressed up in Ku Klux Klan robes and the other in blackface, appeared on Northam’s 1984 yearbook page at Eastern Virginia Medical School and came to light in early February 2019. Northam quickly admitted he was in the photo and apologized, then backtracked saying he’d actually appeared in blackface a different time.

The Virginia Legislative Black Caucus, of which Jones was a part, quickly called upon Northam to resign the governorship, and Jones soon gave a fiery speech on the floor of the Virginia House of Delegates where he criticized the use of blackface and argued that the saga was proof that there was a “White Virginia” and a “Black Virginia.”

Jones walks back previous condemnation

In early 2021, Jones would express “remorse” for having called on Northam to step down, and Northam would endorse Jones’s bid to become the Democratic nominee for attorney general a month later. Jones would lead efforts to recruit Jones to run again in 2025 and Jones would again tout Northam’s endorsement this year.

During his first bid to become Virginia attorney general, Jones promoted legislative efforts to divest from the police, pull cops from schools, end qualified immunity for law enforcement, and abolish cash bail. As he centered his unsuccessful 2021 Democratic primary run on police reform and race, he repeatedly invoked Black Lives Matter icons George Floyd and Jacob Blake, claiming that those men could have been him.

Jones pushed for police reforms which echoed the “Defund the Police” mantra of BLM, and repeatedly claimed that he personally felt the knee on his neck and the bullets in his back when watching videos of Floyd and Blake. Jones frequently spoke of the “systemic racism” and the “remnants” of Jim Crow in Virginia, and pushed to get a Virginia cop fired for donating to the legal defense fund for Kyle Rittenhouse.

Jones endorsed the June 2020 criminal justice reform plan of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus, of which he was a member, with the legislative strategy document of the black caucus including calls to “divest” from law enforcement just days after Floyd’s death and amidst the BLM rallying cry to “Defund the Police.”

Jones tweeted that month that “I’m a proud member” of the black caucus and that “we stand for justice.”

He lost to then-Virginia attorney general Mark Herring in the June 2021 Democratic primary, and Herring — who had also admitted to using blackface in the past — went on to lose to the Republican nominee, then-Delegate Jason Miyares, in the November 2021 election. Jones, who successfully won the Democratic nod this time around, is now seeking to defeat Miyares, who is running for reelection as the state’s highest law enforcement officer.

Jones did not respond to a request for comment sent to him through his campaign website.

Nancy Pelosi Tears Up a ‘Crown’ to Celebrate “No Kings” Day and Not Even Turning Off the Replies Can Save Her from a Brutal Roasting

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is not exactly known for being in touch with reality, but her celebration of Saturday’s “No Kings” protests across the country was one of the most tone-deaf gestures imaginable.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Democrats and Communists, or Communist Democrats, held a “No Kings” rally in cities around the country.

The protests, organized by the progressive group Indivisible, took place in over 2,000 </> locations across the U.S. and even internationally, including cities like Los Angeles, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, Kansas City, and Bozeman, as well as spots in Canada and Mexico.

“We’re gonna tear up the crown,” she said before ripping up one made of paper.

She smiled and celebrated while the handful of people witnessing the photo-op applauded.

Abigail Spanberger Says it’s ‘Horrifying’ That Crossing the Border Illegally is Considered a Criminal Act

Illegal immigration was one of the top issues of the 2024 election, but Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat running for governor of Virginia doesn’t seem to appreciate that.

In a video circulating on social media, Spanberger says that it’s ‘horrifying’ that under the current administration that crossing the border illegally is considered a criminal act.

Perhaps that is because it is a violation of federal immigration law. What is it about this basic fact that Democrats cannot seem to grasp?

This is obviously one of the reasons why the governor race in Virginia is now essentially tied. If elected, Spanberger is going to go right back to Democrat business as usual. She wants to ignore the mandate of the 2024 election.

She has already vowed to undo much of the work done on this issue by the current Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Spanberger vows to scrap Youngkin’s immigration order if elected governor

Democratic nominee for governor Abigail Spanberger says one of her first acts if elected would be to undo Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s February directive requiring Virginia law enforcement to help carry out federal immigration crackdowns — a policy she argues wastes local resources and undermines community trust.

“I would rescind his executive order, yes,” Spanberger told The Mercury in a lengthy policy interview earlier this month, referring to Youngkin’s Executive Order 47 issued in February. The order gave state police and corrections officers authority to perform certain immigration duties and also urged local jails to fully cooperate with federal deportation operations.

The governor said at the time the measure was meant to keep “dangerous criminal illegal immigrants” off Virginia’s streets. Spanberger countered that Youngkin’s approach illustrates how immigration enforcement can pull local agencies away from their core responsibilities while pushing state agencies into federal civil enforcement.

“Our immigration system is absolutely broken,” she said. “The idea that we would take local police officers or local sheriff’s deputies in amid all the things that they have to do, like community policing or staffing our jails or investigating real crimes, so that they can go and tear families apart … that is a misuse of those resources.”

If people in Virginia still care about the issue of illegal immigration, the choice in November is pretty clear.

LOOK OUT NANCY: Dangerously Radical Leather-Wearing Democratic State Lawmaker and “Drag Queen Advocate” to Launch Primary Challenge Against Pelosi

Washed-up former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is about to face one of the most serious challenges of her career from a person who fits the People’s Republic of San Francisco like a glove.

As the New York Post reported Friday, openly gay California State Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) has decided to challenge fellow San Franciscan Pelosi next year.

He previously said he would wait until the 85-year-old Pelosi retired.

Pelosi, however, signals she has no plans to do so despite her significant health issues.

“Speaker Pelosi is fully focused on her mission to win the Yes on 50 special election in California on November 4th,” Ian Krager, a spokesperson for the congresswoman, said in a statement obtained by the Post.

“She urges all Californians to join in that mission on the path to taking back the House for the Democrats,” Krager added.

Far from a quixotic challenge, Wiener will come into the race with plenty of financial backing. The Post notes that the state senator’s congressional campaign committee was set up in 2023 and had over $1 million in contributions at the end of the last month.

In many respects, Wiener makes the notoriously left-wing Pelosi look moderate and sane in comparison.

Per the Post, here is just a sample of how radical and dangerous he is:

Wiener, 55, is described as “one of the strongest LGBTQ civil rights champions in the nation,” on his state Senate profile.

He’s backed legislation promoting so-called gender-affirming care for minors; allowing non-binary designations on government IDs; and ending the mandatory inclusion of adults who have oral and anal intercourse with minors on sex offender registries, arguing that the law “disproportionately targets LGBT young people.”

Wiener, who is openly gay and regularly attends San Francisco’s annual Folsom Street Fair kink festival in a leather vest and leather tie, is also a self-described “drag queen advocate.”

In addition to his advocacy for the most sinister gender identity and far-left LGBTQ policies, Wiener is an open borders fan. He has smeared the National Guard as “Trump’s private army” and demanded the president to “stay the hell out of San Francisco.”

He has also called Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “a paramilitary police force” and a “modern-day Gestapo.”

While Republicans have loved to dunk on Pelosi and have rooted for her ultimate political defeat, this may be a perfect example of being careful what you wish for.

Zohran Mamdani Campaigns with Imam Tied to 1993 World Trade Center Bombing

One day after the New York City mayoral debate, Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani openly campaigned at a mosque alongside Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Instead of distancing himself, Mamdani proudly highlighted the event.

He even posted about it publicly, as if daring New Yorkers to overlook the danger.

For years, warnings about Mamdani’s ties to Wahhaj have circulated. Wahhaj was named by federal prosecutors as a co-conspirator in the terror plot that killed six and injured more than a thousand.

Despite this, he continues to serve as an imam in New York and has donated to Mamdani’s campaign.

He remains an influential figure in the same activist networks that have normalized radicalism under the banner of “progress.”

The connections don’t stop there. Linda Sarsour, the anti-Israel activist who has publicly defended Hamas sympathizers, calls Wahhaj her mentor.

His son, Siraj Wahhaj Jr., operated a jihadi compound in New Mexico where children were indoctrinated and trained to commit terrorist attacks.

Federal authorities reported that the group stockpiled weapons, plotted mass murder, and buried the remains of children on the site.

Members of the compound received life sentences.

These are the people surrounding Mamdani. These are the networks trying to seize political power in New York City.

Instead of distancing himself, Mamdani embraces them.

Democratic Senate Candidate Graham Platner Calls For Violence In Now-Deleted Posts

Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner once urged violence as a tool for social change in a now-deleted Reddit post, according to Politico.

Platner, a former Marine and oyster farmer, wrote in 2018 that “an armed working class is a requirement for economic justice” and suggested that those who “expect to fight fascism without a good semi-automatic rifle” should “do some reading of history,” the outlet

Platner did not dispute his authorship of the posts but renounced his past rhetoric in a statement to Politico.

“As I told CNN, I was fucking around on the internet at a time when I felt lost and very disillusioned with our government who sent me overseas to watch my friends die,” Platner said. “I made dumb jokes and picked fights. But of course I’m not a socialist. I’m a small business owner, a Marine Corps veteran, and a retired shitposter.”

CNN first reported Thursday that Platner participated in the subreddit r/SocialistRA, along with other left-wing forums. Many of his posts date back roughly five years and appeared under the Reddit username “P-Hustle,” where he called police “all bastards,” described himself as a communist, and said rural white Americans were racist and stupid.

Platner deleted the posts in August, the same month he launched his Senate campaign, saying he wanted to distance himself from what he described as a darker period in his life.
