New Hampshire’s ‘first black sheriff’ pleads guilty to a laundry list of felonies…

Here’s another big win for DEI hiring—Mark Brave, New Hampshire’s first black sheriff, just pled guilty to a laundry list of felonies. Shocking? No, not one bit. This is what happens when you focus on checking diversity boxes instead of hiring the best person for the job. Sadly, we see this happening everywhere these days.

Brave’s fall from grace is nothing new. Sadly, it follows a very familiar pattern if you’ve been paying attention to the left’s DEI circus. Back in August 2023, Brave was arrested for stealing nearly $19,000 in county funds. This “stand-up guy” used taxpayer money to fund his extramarital affair and bankroll romantic trips to Boston and Florida.

Mark filed bogus claims for airfare, hotels, and meals—all while conveniently covering up the fact that he wasn’t exactly traveling solo… or with his wife. He actually doctored receipts to hide the identity of his mistress.

But don’t worry—it gets worse…

Sheriff Brave flat-out lied to a grand jury. He spun stories about attending official events, meeting a US congressman, and, of course, denied his mistress was anywhere near those trips. All lies. One Boston getaway, supposedly for a “charity fundraiser,” turned out to be nothing more than a romantic dinner cruise with his side piece.

Federal Judge Sides with Woke Agenda, Blocks Trump’s Orders to End Taxpayer-Funded DEI Scam

In yet another case of activist judges undermining the will of the American people, a Biden-appointed federal judge has issued a sweeping injunction blocking President Donald Trump’s executive orders aimed at ending taxpayer-funded diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) schemes.

U.S. District Judge Adam Abelson, a left-wing operative placed on the bench by Joe Biden, ruled on Friday that the Trump administration cannot immediately revoke federal contracts and grants that promote divisive DEI initiatives, claiming such actions may violate “free speech rights,” according to far-left AP.

In other words, the judge believes that forcing taxpayers to fund radical leftist ideology is a constitutional right.

On his first day back in office, President Trump moved swiftly to dismantle the race-obsessed, Marxist bureaucracy embedded within the federal government by issuing executive orders that directed agencies to eliminate DEI-related funding and contracts.

He further required federal contractors to certify that they do not promote discriminatory DEI policies, a move that sent leftist institutions into a panic.

The City of Baltimore, along with a coalition of liberal academia and DEI profiteers, rushed to sue the Trump administration, desperately trying to keep the federal gravy train flowing.

The lawsuit whines that Trump’s orders will cause “irreparable harm” to DEI bureaucrats and the institutions that rely on billions in taxpayer funding to push radical race and gender policies.

Colorado bill seeks to jail those who ‘misgender’ dead people

A Colorado bill that would make “misgendering” a person on their death certificate a crime punishable by up to 120 days in jail will be heard on Wednesday.

HB25-1109, titled “Gender Identity Certificate of Death,” would, if passed, require those complete death certificates to record the deceased’s sex “to reflect” their “gender identity.” The death certificate would need to be conformed to any document presented that “memorializ(es)” the “gender identity” of the deceased.

If not presented with such a document, the individual completing the death certificate would have to record the deceased’s sex “as reported by the individual with the right to control the disposition of” the deceased’s remains.

“Misgendering” the deceased would, as a Class 2 misdemeanor, be punished by up to 120 days in jail or up to $750 in fines. The bill would affect doctors and government employees as well as morticians, the Daily Caller noted

Dr. Travis Morrell, a senior fellow with the anti-woke, anti-trans medical group Do No Harm, denounced the legislation as outrageous.

“It’s dangerous and absolutely nuts to threaten doctors with a misdemeanor if they won’t forge a death certificate. But it’s what I’d expect in Colorado,” Dr. Morrell told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“The first thing you learn in middle school science is to write in your lab book with a pen; honest data recording is science 101,” Morrell added.

He stressed that adhering to biological reality when recording death certificates is far from an arbitrary matter.

“Death certificates aren’t buried when you die,” he said. “They’re evidence in court. They’re data for medical and public health research. Death certificates help doctors predict cancer survival or the deadliness of infectious or environmental agents.”

“The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and scientists around the world use death certificate data,” Morrell noted.

Sources Claim Delta Crash Pilot Was a Woman Who Only Got Certified a Month Ago

Speculation is raging as to the identity of the pilot involved in Delta Airlines Pearson Airport crash, with some sources claiming she was a woman who only got certified a month ago.

The plane flipped over while landing, leaving terrified passengers hanging upside down in their seats, and it’s a minor miracle that no one died, although 21 people were taken to hospital.

Many have blamed pilot error for the crash, noting that the pilot did not seem to attempt to pull the nose of the plane as it descended.

Numerous prominent accounts on X claim to have discovered that the pilot was in fact an inexperienced woman.

“Won’t post her name and info but the Delta plane crash was piloted by a woman who just got certified, by an operator airline that makes a big deal of having female pilots,” wrote Indian Bronson.

Federal Judge Temporarily Blocks Trump’s Firing of CIA Officers Involved in DEI Programs

Judge Anthony J. Trenga, an appointee of George W. Bush, has temporarily blocked President Trump’s move to clean house in the intelligence community—specifically targeting agents involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that have compromised national security in favor of leftist ideology.

This ruling comes after a group of anonymous intelligence officers, who had been temporarily reassigned to roles implementing controversial Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs, have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, names ODNI, the CIA, and their respective heads—Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe—as defendants.

The plaintiffs, identified as “John Does 1-6” and “Jane Does 1-5,” claim they are being unfairly targeted simply for their prior assignments to DEIA programs.

However, conservatives see it differently. President Trump’s Executive Order 14151, signed on his first day back in office, decisively dismantled DEIA offices across the federal government, branding them “illegal and immoral.”

The order made it clear that radical left-wing hiring practices, which prioritized identity over merit, had no place in a serious government, especially in agencies tasked with protecting American national security.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiffs claim they were placed on administrative leave “without cause” and fear imminent termination.

Company Involved in Pearson Airport Plane Crash Was Obsessed With DEI

The Delta Airlines flight that flipped over and crashed at Pearson Airport was operated by Endeavor Air, a company that has relentlessly pushed DEI initiatives and bragged about having “unmanned” all-female flights that contained no male staff.

Passengers were left dangling upside down when the plane flipped over while landing, with fuel running down the windows as flames began to consume the jet before being extinguished.

It’s a minor miracle that no one died, with 19 of the 21 passengers taken to hospital now discharged.

Respondents to the shocking incident noted how Endeavor Air, the Delta subsidiary that operated the flight, was obsessed with DEI initiatives, and produced a feminist girlboss video promoting its all-female flights with a rap song featuring the lyrics “bad girls do it well.”

Other videos linked to the company show other female Endeavor Air flight crew and stewardesses performing choreographed dance routines celebrating the total absence of men.

ESG And DEI Are Down But Not Out, Analysts Say

Despite recent eulogies for the environmental, social and governance (ESG) movement, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, many insiders say the funeral is premature.

Their demise is inevitable, and it has been accelerated,” David Bahnsen, chief investment officer of the Bahnsen Group and formerly an asset manager at Morgan Stanley, told The Epoch Times.

However, “they are not over,” he said.

The ESG movement began two decades ago with a U.N. initiative, sketched out in a 2004 position paper called Who Cares Wins, to get private companies in line with the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Those goals included, among other things, climate action and gender and racial equity, and they aligned with corporate trends such as “conscious capitalism” and “stakeholder capitalism,” which redirected companies from merely serving owners to serving employees, the community, and the environment.

Institutional asset managers gave the ESG movement critical leverage over companies because they collectively own about 80 percent of the shares in S&P 500 companies. Immediately upon its introduction, ESG was endorsed by 23 financial institutions collectively representing more than $6 trillion in assets at the time.

Most major banks, asset managers, and insurance companies quickly joined U.N.-sponsored climate clubs, including the Net Zero Banking Alliance, the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative, and the Net Zero Insurance Alliance. This was followed by a proliferation of ESG rating agencies, consultants, accountants, and others dedicated to measuring companies’ compliance with ESG criteria.

Twenty years later, the winds appear to have shifted. In 2024, half of the Net Zero Insurance Alliance members quit, while the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative suspended its activities in January after several of its largest members, including BlackRock, left the group.

A 2024 Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) order that required listed companies to produce audited reports of their CO2 emissions and their plans to reduce them, faced numerous court challenges and was recently shelved. And on the social justice front, a parade of companies recently announced that they are downsizing their diversity programs.

“ESG is on death watch,” Daniel Cameron, CEO of the 1792 Exchange, an analytics nonprofit, told The Epoch Times. “You saw a lot of iconic brands last year walk away from DEI in particular.”

Companies stepping back from diversity programs include Amazon, Google, Target, Meta, Walmart, Boeing, Molson Coors, Lowe’s, Ford, Toyota, Harley-Davidson, Jack Daniels, Caterpillar, John Deere, McDonald’s, Nissan, Stanley Black & Decker, and Tractor Supply.

Education Department Cuts $600 Million From Ideological Training Programs for Teachers

The U.S. Education Department on Monday said it has canceled $600 million in grants for educator training programs that promote “divisive ideologies.”

The grants had been awarded to teacher preparation programs that trained future educators in what the department said were “inappropriate and unnecessary topics,” such as critical race theory, which promotes the fundamental framework view that racism is embedded in all institutions and aspects of society; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); and social justice activism. Some of the defunded programs also included race-based teacher recruitment and staffing strategies, according to the department.

A Tale of Two Parties: Kids Edition

“All progressive social experiments require children to make sacrifices, whether it’s abortion, gender ideology, race-based DEI education, or shutting down schools for COVID-19. The voiceless and most vulnerable are always made to pay the price.”

That’s a quote from the book “Toxic Empathy: How Progressives Exploit Christian Compassion” by Allie Beth Stuckey. While I haven’t read the book, our editor, Chris Queen has and loved it, and he happened to send me that quote last month. I’d planned to write an article about it, but I never got around to it.

Still, the words have lingered in my mind ever since. Because they’re true. I don’t need to explain to you that the entire Democrat platform, especially over the last four or five years, has largely centered around experimenting on children, whether they’re injecting them with hormones, teaching them racism, or preventing them from even being born at all.

Here’s one of countless examples: In November, I wrote about how one of the founders of La Leche League International (LLLI), one of the largest and oldest parenting organizations in the world, resigned from the board — along with other members of leadership — because they were “ridiculed and abused” and compared to Nazis when they questioned the desire to allow “breastfeeding men” into women’s meetings.

Air Traffic Control Whistleblowers: DEI Hiring Practices Led to DC Crash

In the weeks since the tragic midair collision at Reagan National Airport, mounting concerns about the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) hiring practices have come under scrutiny. The tragic accident on January 29, involving an American Airlines plane and a U.S. Army helicopter, claimed the lives of all 67 individuals aboard.

Democrats had a hissy fit after President Donald Trump weighed in on the issue in a press conference after the crash, during which he vehemently criticized the policies of the Obama and Biden administrations, which, he noted, prioritized DEI measures over safety. Naturally, the  left wanted Trump to be the target of blame—not the DEI policies they’ve become strong advocates for.

According to current and former air traffic control whistleblowers, the FAA’s focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives resulted in a decrease in the hiring of qualified personnel—likely contributing to the crash. These diversity initiatives were introduced during the Obama administration, reversed under Trump, but were inevitably reinstated under the Biden administration, bringing back the same policies that critics argue undermined the agency’s ability to prioritize competence over diversity.
