Cops Investigated Themselves, Found They Did Nothing Wrong When Dragging Paraplegic Man From Car By His Hair

As TFTP reported in September, Clifford Owensby of Dayton, Ohio, learned the violent and oppressive lengths the American police state will go to enforce window tint extortion laws. Owensby, who had committed no crime, was targeted by police, assaulted, and then sent on his way because of the arbitrary darkness of his window tint. Days later, body camera footage was released released by police, showing just how brutal cops are willing to be over the darkness of a man’s windows — and skin too.

Owensby filed a complaint with the Professional Standards Bureau of the Dayton Police Department (DPD), who launched an investigation in October. Now, after “investigating” themselves for the last three months, police have come to the conclusion that officers did nothing wrong.

The report from the investigation determined Owensby’s allegations that officers threatened violence and mocked him were “unfounded” in spite of their violence captured on video.

The officer’s “pulling of Mr. Owensby’s hair may have been visually offensive to some people, but in reality the hair pulling was on the low end of the force spectrum and did not cause injury,” investigators found. “Mr. Owensby was removed to Grandview Medical Center where it was confirmed he was not injured during the incident.”

The officers faced no discipline in spite of turning off their body cameras and mocking Owensby which was recorded on a supervisor’s body camera. Investigators did, however, recommend more training as there is no policy in place that dealt with “how to best transport a disabled subject,” the review stated.

Salt Lake City Tribune editorial calls for National Guard to keep unvaccinated people in their homes

The Salt Lake City Tribune editorial board published an editorial on Saturday that called on the Utah governor to use the National Guard to prevent unvaccinated citizens from going anywhere.

In an editorial titled, “Utah leaders have surrendered to COVID pandemic, the Editorial Board writes” the paper lays blame at elected officials for failing to mandate the vaccine for all citizens. The paper asserted that if Utah was a “civilized place,” Republican Gov. Spencer Cox would implement a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for the state and have the National Guard enforce the mandate by not letting unvaccinated people go “anywhere.”

“Were Utah a truly civilized place, the governor’s next move would be to find a way to mandate the kind of mass vaccination campaign we should have launched a year ago, going as far as to deploy the National Guard to ensure that people without proof of vaccination would not be allowed, well, anywhere,” the editorial board wrote

NYT Warns of ‘Right-Wing Threat’ to Democracy, Calls to ‘War-Game’ Insurgency, Secession, Civil War

The U.S. may be on the verge of collapse due to right-wing threats on democracy, according to a recent New York Times piece that called to intensify “war games” for scenarios concerning the 2024 presidential elections such as “insurrection, secession, insurgency and civil war” in order to avert “political decay” of the country.

A Thursday New York Times essay, titled “We Need to Think the Unthinkable About Our Country,” begins by deeming the U.S. perhaps “even more alarmingly fractious and divided” one year after the January 6 Capitol riot.

“Regrettably, the right has sustained its support for [former President] Donald Trump and continued its assault on American democratic norms,” it continues.

The essay was penned by Jonathan Stevenson, a former National Security Council staffer in the Obama administration, and Steven Simon, a former staffer in the State Department and on the National Security Council in the Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and Obama administrations.

Speculating that the next presidential election “will almost inevitably be viciously (perhaps violently) contested,” the authors warn of a “politically existential” threat to the country due to right-wing preparations for a potential 2024 “power grab.”

Don’t Underestimate How Badly The Powerful Need Control Of Online Speech

Seems like almost every day now the mass media are blaring about the need for speech on the internet to be controlled or restricted in some way. Today they’re running stories about Joe Rogan and Covid misinformation; tomorrow it will be something else.

The reasons for the need to control online speech change from day to day, but the demand for that control remains a constant. Some days it’s a need to protect the citizenry from online disinformation campaigns by foreign governments. Sometimes it’s the need to guarantee election security. Sometimes it’s the need to eliminate domestic extremism and conspiracy theories. Sometimes it’s Covid misinformation. The problems change, but the solution is always the same: increased regulation of speech by monopolistic online platforms in steadily increasing coordination with the US government.

State Leaves People Stranded After County Refuses to Implement Vaccine Mandate

If you disagree with today’s authoritarian establishment, it will crush you.

It doesn’t matter how sincere your disagreement is or how nonsensical the establishment’s rules are. If you fall out of line, you’re done for.

This is the case for Kittitas County, Washington. In a Wednesday statement, the county revealed that the Washington State Department of Transportation is refusing the county’s help to clear snow from its own roadways, all because Kittitas does not mandate COVID-19 vaccination for its employees.

On Oct. 18, after Washington’s Democratic governor, Jay Inslee, issued a vaccine mandate, the state began firing all unvaccinated employees, according to the Post Millennial. As a result, hundreds of WSDOT workers were let go.

A little over a month later, Kittitas County signed an “interlocal agreement” with the WSDOT. According to the statement issued by Kittitas County, the WSDOT had requested the agreement “based on an identified need for additional resources caused by reduced staffing.”

In January, snowfall in the state — and in Kittitas County in particular — began to get out of hand. Nevertheless, at a time when Kittitas was in need and the WSDOT needed assistance clearing snow, the department declined Kittitas’ offer to help because the county had not mandated the COVID-19 vaccine for its workers.

Despite Government and Mainstream Media Demonization the 3D-Printed Gun Business is Booming

Since before he was elected, president Joe Biden has promised more gun control, and he is doing everything in his power to keep this one promise — up to and including executive action — specifically targeting 3D printing of guns. Or, as Biden refers to them, Ghost Guns.

The term “ghost gun” is meant to incite fear and is used by the anti-gun crowd as a slogan to sway the ignorant away from the fact that law-abiding citizens often customize their legal weapons with parts obtained online or manufactured in their homes. Some of the parts are drilled with machine tools or 3D printed and therefore do not have a serial number so it is harder for government to track the weapons. Biden will make this legal activity for law-abiding gun owners — illegal.

However, as the Fast and Furious scandal — which happened under Biden’s tenure as VP — shows us, serial numbers on guns don’t stop anyone from committing crimes. The US gave serialized weapons to cartels, who in turn used them on Americans.

Washington State to Send Out Strike Teams to “Involuntarily Detain” Unvaccinated Residents and Ship Them to Quarantine Camps

Unelected health officials in the state of Washington have filed a bill that would involve deploying “strike force” teams to round up and “involuntarily detain” unvaccinated families.

The proposed agenda, called WAC 246-100-040, was revealed during a recent Zoom meeting by the Washington State Board of Health. The bill would amend state law to allow residents as young as five to be detained by the state and sent to Covid-19 quarantine camps.

The proposed revision under Washington’s Communicable and Certain Other Disease Act outlines specific “Procedures for isolation or quarantine” that are incredibly tyrannical and discriminate against unvaccinated people.

A local health officer would be granted power to “issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine.”

The bill further states that health officers would need to provide documentation proving that unvaccinated citizens of Washington subject to detention have denied “requests for medical examination, testing, treatment, counselling, vaccination, decontamination of persons or animals, isolation, quarantine and inspection and closure of facilities” before they would be given the thumbs up on sending people to the covid camps.

According to reports, the amendment would also allow health officers to deploy law enforcement to assist with the arrest of Washington residents who fail to comply.

Quebec Government Becomes World’s 1st To Impose Steep “Health Tax” For Unvaxxed Citizens

It seems that throughout the pandemic the English-speaking countries of Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have been in competition to see which respective government can impose the most restrictive, liberty-suffocating Covid measures on its population – all ironically in the name of “health” and “public safety”. Anyone with friends or family in major cities of Canada, for example, might be used to picking up the phone and hearing stories of Canadians having to sneak out of their homes in the dead of night just to visit in-laws or grandparents under cover of darkness, on fear of getting ticketed by authorities for a lockdown violation. And recall, as another example among a seeming myriad of absurdities, that New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern less than two months ago actually addressed whether citizens were allowed to use the restroom in the homes of friends or neighbors.

As we’ve said over and over, just when you think Covid-lunacy has reached its peak… enter a new insane policy cooked up by a neurotic and despotic government somewhere, typically in the West. And of course the latest is out of Canada: “The Canadian province of Quebec will charge a health tax to residents who are not vaccinated against Covid-19,” BBC reports.
