Liberal Insanity: Michigan Town Spends $18,000 in Taxpayer Cash to Rip Out Over 600 ‘Racist’ Neighborhood Watch Signs, Mayor Calls Them ‘Expressions of Exclusion’

The liberal city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, has spent $18,000 in taxpayer funds to remove more than 600 “Neighborhood Watch” signs after city officials declared the crime prevention signs “expressions of exclusion” that allegedly promote racial profiling and make people of color feel “unwelcome.”

The signs were yanked from front yards and public spaces by city crews over the past few weeks, with the final one removed last week.

Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor personally helped remove the last sign alongside two city council members.

In a video statement posted to Instagram to virtue signal, Taylor declared, “Frankly, neighborhood watch signs are expressions of exclusion, and they’re inconsistent with our values. Ann Arbor is a welcoming community. We don’t want to push people away. We want to welcome folks in.”

Council Member Cynthia Harrison, who is Black, strongly supported the removal.

In the announcement video, Harrison stated, “There are people that look like me, and those from my community that have been questioned, quite frankly, in their own neighborhood by others, you know, wondering what they’re doing there.”

“This is just representative of our values and how we want people to feel in Ann Arbor,” Harrison continued. “We do welcome everyone to the city of Ann Arbor, but most importantly, we want everyone to feel welcome, and just the removal of these signs is a huge step in that direction.”

The city council voted 10-0 in December to direct staff to remove every single Neighborhood Watch sign by July 15.

Officials unanimously approved the $18,000 expenditure earlier this year, drawing the money from the city’s general cash reserves rather than from the police or street maintenance budgets.

Ann Arbor officials claim the Neighborhood Watch program, launched nationwide in the 1970s amid rising crime concerns, has been “defunct” and inactive for decades.

The officials also cited research showing the signs do not actually reduce crime and instead “reinforce biased surveillance practices” and create distrust toward people of color.

After Comey indictment, acting AG leaves door open to Whitmer investigation over ’86 45′

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer could face a federal investigation into an “86 45” emblem visible in the background of a virtual appearance she made several years ago.

The term 86 is slang used in the restaurant industry to signal something should be removed, like a menu item that’s out of stock or a disorderly person in a bar. President Donald Trump is the 45th and 47th president.

The Justice Department secured an indictment Tuesday against former FBI Director James Comey over a photo he posted last year of seashells on a beach arranged to read “86 47,” which prosecutors say was meant to be a threat to Trump’s life.

Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters during a press conference Tuesday that “other instances of threats against the president of the United States … will be investigated.”

“You cannot compare,” Blanche said. “It’s not fair to the American people, it’s not fair to the defendant, and it’s certainly not fair to the prosecutors to compare, ‘well, if you did it here, why didn’t you do it there?’”

Trump’s 2020 campaign accused Whitmer of “encouraging assassination attempts” against the president by having the emblem visible in the background of a virtual appearance on “Meet the Press.”

The interview was recorded days after federal agents thwarted an alleged plot to kidnap and kill Whitmer.

When specifically asked whether Whitmer’s 2020 appearance would also be investigated, Blanche did not rule that possibility out.

“Every case is different. The facts are different. Who makes the threat matters? What the threat says matters,” Blanche said.

One Very Good Reason Michigan’s Lawless AG Dana Nessel Should Not Be Able to Prevent Asst AG Harmeet Dhillon From Obtaining Wayne County’s 2024 Election Docs

On April 17, Michigan’s lawless Attorney General, Dana Nessel, responded to Asst. AG Dhillon’s demand, in a letter, in which she arrogantly claimed that the state would not comply with the DOJ’s request, which, according to Harmeet Dhillon, they are entitled to gain access to under several federal statutes, including a specific transparency statute from the 1960 Civil Rights Act.

In Attorney General Nessel’s response to Assistant Attorney General Dhillon, she cites the Gateway Pundit’s research into documents from Detroit’s November 2020 election, but in true fashion, AG Nessel doesn’t cite a link to either of the two updates Gateway Pundit has published on our research in her letter, but instead, cites a Michigan News Source report on our investigation.

It’s worth noting that the November 2024 election documents, which MI AG Dana Nessel told Assistant Attorney General Dhillon she has no right to obtain from Wayne County, are the same documents that Yehuda Miller has already obtained from Detroit and Wayne County from the November 2020 election.

In case you haven’t already heard, New Jersey resident Yehuda Miller, Check My Vote founder Phani Mantravadi, Patty McMurray of the Gateway Pundit, and the Michigan Fair Election Institute (MFE) are working with over 100 incredibly dedicated and conscientious volunteers to review over 1 million documents from Detroit and Wayne County’s November 2020 election.

Several months ago, Yehuda Miller reached out to me only moments before he loaded his U-Haul with almost 1 million 2020 Detroit and Wayne County election documents from the November 2020 election. Mr. Millier successfully obtained the documents after suing Detroit and Wayne County for refusing to turn them over to him via his original FOIA request before they were destroyed.

After working for over 4 years to expose the fraud in Michigan’s 2020 election, I was stunned to see firsthand the potentially incriminating documents he had obtained: boxes and boxes of Detroit’s 2020 election documents, all neatly stored inside a U-Haul. Mr. Miller had also obtained the electronic files of the same documents.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, a federal grand jury in the Middle District of Alabama returned an 11-count indictment against the SPLC on April 21, 2026. The so-called “anti-hate” organization stands accused of running a massive fraud operation while pocketing hundreds of millions from gullible liberal donors.

-6 counts of wire fraud
-4 counts of false statements to a federally insured bank
-1 count of conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering

Prosecutors say that between 2014 and 2023, the SPLC secretly funneled more than $3 MILLION in donated funds to individuals tied to the same extremist groups they publicly claim to be fighting – including the Ku Klux Klan (and United Klans of America), Aryan Nations, the National Socialist Party of America, and other alleged neo-Nazi and white supremacist organizations.

Deranged ‘Transgender’ Student at University of Michigan Tells Right-Wing Comedian Alex Stein to ‘Watch Out for a Hole in the Neck!’ During TPUSA Campus Event

An unhinged student at the University of Michigan, who is allegedly transgender, was caught on video making a death threat against conservative comedian Alex Stein, telling him to “watch out for a hole in the neck” in an obvious reference to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, during a Turning Point USA campus event.

The threat took place during a Turning Point USA “Pick Up the Mic” free speech event earlier this month, modeled after Kirk’s famous campus discussions.

In the video posted by Stein on X on Tuesday, the student engaged Stein on topics including affirmative action, DEI policies, and meritocracy.

After the exchange, as the student walked away, he delivered the ominous line, “Watch out for a hole in the neck.”

The comment is a clear reference to Kirk, who was assassinated in September by a gunman who shot him in the neck.

Tyler Robinson, 23, has been arrested and charged with the shooting. He was living with his transgender furry boyfriend at the time of the murder.

The threat was made in front of a crowd of students with security present, yet the individual simply walked off without consequences.

The University of Michigan student newspaper, The Michigan Daily, covered the event but focused its outrage on Stein, accusing him of making “racist remarks” during the debates, while barely addressing the student’s explicit threat.

The paper described the comment as an “allusion to the killing of TPUSA co-founder Charlie Kirk” but downplayed any real concern, noting the student “walked away from Stein without confronting any TPUSA event staffers or police officers.”

Disgusting: Michigan Senate Candidate Under Fire After Comments About Vice President Vance’s ‘Brown Children’

Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a Muslim and socialist, is proof that not all press is good press.

He is already under fire for openly and proudly campaigning with controversial pro-Hamas/pro-Hezbollah influencer Hasan Piker.

A campaign event last August took a dark turn when he suggested “choking out” opponents.

“We need Democrats who have the courage to stand up to the power brokers in our own party, let alone Trump and his goons,” El-Sayed said to wild applause. “We don’t back down.”

“When they go low, we don’t go high,” he added as the crowd continued to roar. “We take them to the mud and choke them out!”

Now, after comments he made on Friday targeting Vice President JD Vance’s children, he is facing online blowback.

El-Sayed appeared on “The Allen Analysis Show,” and the subject of Vance’s personal life came up.

In discussing Second Lad Usha, El-Sayed said, “What do you think is going through Usha’s head when he talks? She’s like, ‘Damn, I have to sleep with him.’”

He continued, “I guess she’s pregnant so something is happening.”

“Can you imagine, he’s got Brown kids, at some point he’s going to have a really awkward conversation with his kids, like, you made your career hating people who are different.”

“He’s got to look at his kids and be like, ‘Yeah, those are Brown kids, they’re mine,’ You know what I mean? ‘And I had Brown kids. I had Brown kids?’”

Islamized Dearborn Man Hit With Federal Charges After Feds Uncover 35,000 Child Abuse Files


Federal prosecutors in Detroit have charged a 26-year-old Dearborn man after an FBI investigation linked him to tens of thousands of files believed to be connected to the online sexual exploitation of children.

Authorities unsealed a federal complaint and arrest warrant for Audy Mugally Al-Saidi, who faces allegations of receipt, distribution, and possession of child pornography.

Investigators said Al-Saidi was associated with approximately 35,002 potentially downloadable files identified as being of investigative interest.

The case is part of an investigation conducted by the FBI’s Innocent Images National Initiative, a program within the agency’s Violent Crimes Against Children Unit that focuses on crimes involving the online exploitation of minors.

According to court records, the investigation began in February 2026.

On Feb. 18, 2026, an FBI agent used an undercover computer to access a BitTorrent peer-to-peer file-sharing network.

These systems allow users to exchange files directly, often without identifying information visible to others on the network.

While monitoring activity on the platform, the agent identified a device tied to an IP address that contained approximately 35,002 potentially downloadable files.

Law now bans Ohioans from using Michigan’s cheaper cannabis

Despite changes to Ohio and Michigan’s cannabis laws, it is still cheaper for Ohioans to drive from Columbus to a Michigan dispensary than to buy marijuana in-state.

Ohio’s cannabis market was subject to legislative changes in the past month as Senate Bill 56 went into effect. The bill banned intoxicating hemp products like THC drinks and increased penalties and restrictions for adult-use cannabis. Data shows central Ohioans would save about $76.63 by driving to Michigan to purchase cannabis, but S.B. 56 now makes possessing cannabis purchased out of state illegal. See previous coverage of S.B. 56 in the video player above.

Because cannabis is federally illegal and state borders are federal jurisdiction, it has always been illegal to cross state lines with cannabis. Previously, the law prevented Ohioans from bringing cannabis from Michigan into Ohio, but not from using cannabis purchased in Michigan within the Buckeye state.

S.B. 56 changes the legality of consuming or possessing cannabis purchased out of state. Under S.B. 56, legal cannabis only extends to legal home-grown marijuana or cannabis purchased at a licensed Ohio dispensary. The law means any cannabis purchased out of state is illegal possession.

Although Ohioans have been able to legally purchase and use recreational cannabis since August 2024, some Ohioans still crossed the border to purchase marijuana more cheaply. Four months into legalization, an ounce of marijuana flower cost more than $200 in Ohio and around $91 in Michigan. At the time, Ohioans would save over $100 on average by driving to Michigan.

Over a year later, Ohioans still save if they purchase in Michigan. NBC4 averaged sales data for one ounce of flower for each month of 2026 in both Michigan and Ohio. The closest Michigan dispensary to Columbus is around 174 miles away, so the average vehicle could make a round trip using about one tank of gas. Gas costs were calculated using the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s average gas pricing data for each month.

Summer Lee, a far left Democrat rep. from Pennsylvania, was recently campaigning in Michigan for far left senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and told the crowd that upper class Americans are the ‘enemy.’

This view of the world has become common among Democrats and it can be traced directly to Senator Bernie Sanders, who is also backing Abdul El-Sayed. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, the Squad, and other Democrats are promoting a political philosophy that is based entirely on envy.

The other thing that’s happening is that as candidates like Zohran Mamdani win elections. these radical leftists see this political philosophy as a path to success and they’re all trying to emulate it.

Squad member Summer Lee calls ‘upper class’ the ‘enemy’ at El-Sayed rally

Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., suggested that higher-earning Americans were the real “enemy” during a campaign rally headlined by a far-left social media influencer on Tuesday.

“I see other people who are fighting like hell to make you feel like your enemy is sitting next to you,” Lee said in a video posted by The Washington Free Beacon. “That your enemy is somebody who worships differently than you are, or looks differently than you are, comes from a different socioeconomic background than you, unless they are the upper class.”

“They only have the politics of fear and division and destruction and disruption. They need us to keep our focus away from the people who have participated in the biggest sex trafficking ring in our country,” Lee continued, appearing to reference the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. “I need you to instead lead and learn and live in your power.”

Lee, a left-wing lawmaker affiliated with “the Squad,” made the remarks during a campaign event she participated in to boost Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., another “Squad” member who is supporting El-Sayed, was in attendance.

Large Michigan Solar Projects Can Now Bypass Township Permit Denials. 122 of 148 Lawmakers Took Utility Money

One of Michigan’s electric utilities, Consumers Energy, announced plans to build up to 9,000 megawatts of solar power on 209,000 acres of farmland. The total size of these solar projects is about 326 square miles. That’s about 2.5 times the size of Detroit itself.

Nearly all these costs get added to citizens’ electric bills. Recognizing this would likely create opposition within townships, Democrat politicians in Michigan passed Public Act 233. It overrides a township if they deny a solar or wind farm permit.

For decades, Michigan’s 1,773 local township governments had the authority to decide whether a large solar farm could be built in their communities. In late November of 2023, Public Act 233 was signed into law. Larger solar (>50MW) and wind (>100MW) projects can now skip the voices of local residents. They now have almost no say in some of Michigan’s biggest industrial projects.

If the local jurisdiction denies the solar application, takes too long, or imposes excessive rules, the developer can bypass the township entirely. They can apply directly to the 3 person Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) for approval. All 3 commissioners are appointed by Democrat governor Gretchen Whitmer. In some cases, these developers can bypass townships from the onset.

PA 233 was introduced by MI House of Representatives Abraham Aiyash (D), a top Muslim lawmaker from the Detroit area. Every Democrat voted in favor of the bill, every Republican against (20-18). Like fascists, the MI Democrats took oversight from these small townships and gave it to MPSC. Democrats also control MPSC, which determines how much the two utility companies can charge their MI customers (Consumers Energy, DTE Energy).
