Hochul Calls for Nationwide Ban on ‘Assault Weapons’ in Wake of NYC Shooting

Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) said Tuesday on CNN’s “Inside Politics” that a new federal assault weapons ban is needed in the wake of a mass shooting in Manhattan.

Hochul said, “I’m sitting in Midtown right now. My office is just a few blocks away and walking in this morning, and you see the security guards down there and everyone is just wondering, you know, is this is this a one-off? Could this happen again? I mean, that sense of security is shattered when someone comes from another state carrying an assault weapon designed only for battlefields, but using it, intending to use that to commit mayhem and mass murder in our cities.”

She continued, “This is happening because there are still assault weapons in our country.”

Hochul added, “If every state had the same laws uniformly, you could not have a situation where we fight really hard in the state of New York to make sure that we have the toughest gun laws in the nation. We have the lowest of all the large states homicide rate by guns. New York City, New York State, has the lowest homicide rate by guns in the nation for large states, and that’s because of laws that are working. We want that same sense of urgency to go out across the nation.”

CNN Slammed For Labeling Black NYC Shooter “Possibly White” In Latest Example Of Fake News Lies

Leftist mainstream media outlet CNN is being blasted online for falsely labeling black 27-year-old New York City gunman Shane Tamura, who killed three citizens and a police officer on Monday, a “possibly white” suspect.

A photo of the suspect that was going around during a manhunt while he was still on the loose and a copy of his concealed firearms permit clearly show a non-white male.

Meanwhile, CNN anchor Erin Burnett told viewers that police knew “he is, a male, possibly white. He’s wearing sunglasses.”

Blackstone Executive Wesley LePatner Among the Four Victims Killed in Manhattan Shooting

New details have surfaced of one of the four victims in the tragic Manhattan shooting that occurred on Monday evening.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, 27-year-old Shane Tamura from Las Vegas has been identified as the shooter who opened fire on the 33rd floor of the Manhattan building that houses the NFL and Blackstone headquarters.

A new report by Blackstone has revealed that one of its executives was killed in the shooting.

In an announcement, Blackstone wrote, “We are heartbroken to share that our colleague, Wesley LePartner, was among those who lost their lives in the tragic incident at 345 Park Avenue.”

Per The New York Post:

A Blackstone executive was among the four people shot and killed by the crazed gunman who shot up a Midtown office building, the company confirmed Tuesday.

Married mom Wesley LePatner, a senior managing director for the financial giant, was shot and killed in the lobby of the ritzy Park Avenue office tower when Shane Tamura opened fire in anger at the NFL, which shares the same building.

“We are heartbroken to share that our colleague, Wesley LePartner, was among those who lost theor lives in the tragic incident at 345 Park Avenue,” Blackstone told The Post in a statement.

“She was brilliant, passionate, warm, generous, and deeply respected within our firm and beyond.

“She embodied the best of Blackstone. Our prayers are with her husband, children and family.”

We’re Learning More About That Attempted Church Massacre in Michigan

It’s a sad fact of life and an awful commentary on our broken culture that churches need to have armed security guards.

But thank God that several men at CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Mich., were armed and trained to respond to an attack. Their training and skills were put to the ultimate test on June 22, when Brian Anthony Browning, who was heavily armed and dressed in tactical gear, tried to enter the church. Their brave actions likely prevented the mass slaughter of Christians who were at the church that day to celebrate their annual Vacation Bible School program. 

In an episode of “The World and Everything in It” podcast this week, church members and witnesses discussed that harrowing day. 

Sound technician Dustin Fuoco said in the podcast, “This was following our Vacation Bible School program, and instead of doing our regular worship, we had the children up on stage doing some performances and songs and dance and stuff.” 

As the performance was unfolding, Richard Pryor, a deacon at the church, was arriving late that day in his F-150 pickup truck. 

Jay Trombley, a member of the church security team, described what happened next: Browning “had some tactical gear on and some camouflage, mostly all camouflage. And he proceeded to put on more tactical gear, some sound protection over his ears, and then grabbed a large rifle.”

In fact, police say 31-year-old Browning, whose mother attended the church and who had attended himself several times, was armed with an AR-15-style rifle, a semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine, more than a dozen loaded magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. 

Pryor realized something wasn’t right and asked the man if he needed something. 

According to Trombley, “The man looked at him and smirked, and walked away and started walking down the sidewalk, towards the main lobby entrance.” 

That’s when Pryor realized what Browning’s intentions were. With no time to waste, he jumped back into his truck and barreled toward the would-be assassin. After being hit by the truck, Browning somehow managed to get off a barrage of shots and disable the truck. He fired into the windshield, but Pryor, thank God, wasn’t struck.

“WHEN ARE WE GOING TO BOMB THE WHITE HOUSE?” — FBI Foils Alleged ‘Skibidi Massacre’ Plot After Girlfriend Tips Off Authorities

Two radicalized Florida men have been arrested and charged in connection with a chilling plot to commit mass murder, foment political violence, and “bomb the White House,” according to court documents.

Isaiah Oglesby, 23, and James Thomas Goolsby, 25, were taken into custody after the FBI was tipped off by a courageous girlfriend who recognized something deeply wrong in her boyfriend’s disturbing social media rants, FOX13 reported.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office followed through with a full investigation after the feds confirmed the suspects’ accounts.

According to a criminal complaint reviewed by FOX13, the men’s social media accounts were littered with apocalyptic rhetoric, antisemitic and anti-Christian hate speech, and open calls for violence against the U.S. government and religious groups.

One chilling message from Oglesby and Goolsby, according to the criminal complaint:

“Wanna plan an attack?”
“I’m radicalizing my son to never trust the government — teaching him how to cultivate crops, purify water, hunt, shoot, and make bombs. We gonna survive the martial law.”
“I low-key wish Hitler wiped out the [REDACTED].”
“They’re like a cancer that sucks the life out of society.”

“We have to fight.”
“We have to kill these people [REDACTED].”
“We have to.”
“It better be a bloodbath of every corrupt politician in Capitol Hill.”
“And then we need to strike — more of us than them.”

The defendant also commented on a post on Instagram with:
“So when are we going to bomb the White House?”

Goolsby responded to Oglesby:

The defendant replied with, “Totally dude, Skibidi massacre.” The defendant also posted antisemitic and other religiously discriminatory comments to his Instagram Story, including: “I want to eradicate them,” “I want to blow up the [REDACTED], a mosque in [REDACTED], Turkey,” and photographs of unknown subjects stomping on the flag of [REDACTED].

The defendant also posted the following to his Instagram Story: “I want my pain to be inflicted upon others. I want no one to escape,” “I really hate people. I wish I could end everyone and blow the world up,” and “I hate those people so much I’ll eradicate them all.”

Several other photographs were posted by the defendant to his Instagram Story showing his infatuation with prior active shooters, including actual videos of active shooter events. Multiple other photographs and videos were also located that were self-photographs of the defendant.

Congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym killed when gunman opens fire in tragic Washington D.C. shooting

A Congressional intern was killed in Washington, D.C. after being struck by bullets when gunmen opened fire on a group of people.

Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, an intern for Representative Ron Estes, was fatally shot late Monday night in what authorities believe was a targeted attack near the U.S. Capitol.

Tarpinian-Jachym was not the intended target but an innocent bystander in the tragic shooting.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 10:30 p.m. near 1200 7th Street. Upon arrival, they found Tarpinian-Jachym unconscious, along with two other victims who were conscious.

According to the department, multiple suspects exited a vehicle and opened fire on a group of people, striking three individuals.

All three victims – Tarpinian-Jachym, a woman, and a 16-year-old male – suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital.

Tarpinian-Jachym succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on Tuesday, ABC News reported.

According to a LinkedIn profile believed to belong to him, Tarpinian-Jachym had been interning for Representative Estes for about two months. Before that, he reportedly worked for a government relations firm, also in Washington, D.C.

Authorities Identify Michigan Church Shooting Suspect

Police have identified the gunman who opened fire outside CrossPointe Community Church on Sunday, during a morning service attended by about 150 people.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a 31-year-old man on Sunday opened fire outside the CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan.

Churchgoers first noticed the gunman driving erratically in the parking lot, and as he exited the vehicle, several parishioners noticed he was wearing a tactical vest and wielding a rifle.

Police Chief Ryan Strong, in a press conference, revealed, “A parishioner struck the gunman with his vehicle as the gunman shot the vehicle repeatedly.

Strong later noted, “At least two staff members shot the gunman, causing the fatal wounds.”

Now, authorities have revealed the 31-year-old gunman has been identified as Brian Anthony Browning, from Romulus, Michigan.

Per NBC News:

A man was shot dead by a security guard on Sunday after he opened fire outside a Michigan church during a service has been identified as a 31-year-old who attended the church with his mother.

Brian Anthony Browning, from Romulus, Michigan, was armed with an AR-15-style assault rifle with more than a dozen magazines of ammunition, a semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, Wayne Police Department said in a statement.

“The suspect’s mother is a member of the church, in which he has attended church services two or three times over the course of the last year,” the statement said.

Police said their ongoing investigation suggests “he may have been suffering a mental health crisis” and had no prior contact with law enforcement officers.

There have been no details on the possible motive for the shooting, but police pointed out there was no evidence to suggest it was linked to ongoing conflict in the Middle East, as has been the case in recent attacks across the U.S. The suspect had no previous contacts with the Wayne Police Department or a criminal history.

Clinton donor and lobbyist’s chilling threats against Minnesota capitol days after Democrat lawmakers were shot

A Minnesota lobbyist is facing felony charges after he allegedly threatened to shoot people at the Minnesota State Capitol just days after a lawmaker in the state was assassinated and another critically injured. 

Jonathan Michael Bohn – who has made numerous donations to Democratic causes including Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign –  was arrested on Wednesday after making the threats via text message. 

The 41-year-old Bohn works as the public affairs director of the Inter Faculty Organization (IFO). He made his first appearance in Carver County District Court on Friday.

In court, prosecutors said he had texted someone that he was ‘excited to have his gun at the capitol and blow someone’s effing face off’.

The criminal complaint, seen by KARE11, prosecutors claim he also said that: ‘After January 6, I bought a pistol. 

‘Today I bought 500 bullets. I can’t wait to shoot one of you mother******* in the face,’ he wrote.

Officials said that a search of his home uncovered a firearm and he was placed under arrest. 

According to the Minnesota House GOP, the text was received by a constituent of Rep. Jim Nash who then reported it to the authorities. 

The outlet also reported that Bohn cried throughout his first appearance as Judge Eric Braaten set his bond at $1 million and ordered him to not contact the person he had text. 

Bohn was also ordered to stay at least a half a mile radius away from the Capitol complex. 

His attorney, John Lesch, said Bohn was engaged in a political argument when he made the comments. 

Lesch contended that the remarks were inappropriate but didn’t mean to convey an actual intent to harm anyone. 

He told the court that Bohn had been angered by a post that had mocked two of his friends, Rep. Melissa Hortman and Sen. John Hoffman.

Hortman was murdered last week alongside her husband Mark, while the same gunman also attempted to kill Hoffman and his wife. 

Authorities say Trump supporter Vance Boelter, 57,  is responsible for the killings, he was arrested late on Sunday night following an extensive manhunt. 

Boelter was charged with a total of six federal counts – two for stalking, two for murder, and two for shooting and firearms offenses.

FBI Settles Lawsuit Over Biden Era Cover-Up Of Trans Killer Manifesto

More than two years after facing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit for playing politics with a trans killer’s manifesto, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has agreed to a settlement. 

The agreement is a victory for transparency and open government, but it’s personal for this reporter. 

‘Did Not Want the Public to Know’

I was a plaintiff in the federal lawsuit demanding that the FBI release the manifesto of Audrey Hale, the biological woman identifying as a man who in March 2023 burst into a Nashville Christian school and murdered three third-graders and three staff members before being fatally shot by responding police. 

At the time, I was National Political Editor for the Star News Network, which has done some of the best investigative work in bringing to light the dark mind of a mentally deranged mass murderer despite law enforcement efforts to keep the killer’s motives shrouded in secrecy. President Joe Biden’s FBI, which pulled the levers behind the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s (MNPD) handling of the politically charged case, denied my FOIA request for Hale’s manifesto. The file includes hundreds of pages of the 28-year-old woman’s journals and other writings. 

In May 2023, Star News CEO and Editor-in-Chief Michael Patrick Leahy and I filed a lawsuit seeking the documents. Star News also sued the Nashville Police Department, joining the Tennessean newspaper and other groups in what became a combined complaint. 

We were represented by the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL), a nonprofit conservative law firm based in Milwaukee. On Wednesday, WILL announced the settlement, in which the FBI has agreed to turn over 120 pages of the shooter’s manifesto and to pay the law firm more than $86,000 in legal fees. 

The lawsuit would likely still be tied up in federal court had the FBI, under new management, not agreed to end the Biden FBI’s prolonged fight to keep the public in the dark. FBI Director Kash Patel ultimately ended an empty “investigation” into a trans school shooter who died at the scene and had no accomplices. 

“This was a case in which the Biden administration did not want the public to know what motivated this transgender shooter to shoot up the school and kill six people,” Dan Lennington, WILL’s deputy counsel, told me Wednesday on the Dan O’Donnell Show. 

The trans-centric Biden administration wanted to protect the trans agenda, and, as the Star News Network reported, the FBI advised against releasing information that it believed could put males pretending to be females and females identifying as males at risk. As The Federalist reported, four days after the shooting at the Christian elementary school, Biden issued a statement insisting that “Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul.” New York Post columnist Miranda Devine at the time noted that the far-left president railed against “MAGA extremists [who] are advancing hundreds of hateful and extreme state laws that target transgender kids and their families. … These attacks are un-American and must end.” He said nothing about a twisted trans Nashville area resident indoctrinated in hate.

Crazed gunman in custody after shooting during ‘No Kings’ march in Salt Lake City left one person critically injured

A crazed gunman was taken into custody Saturday night after allegedly opening fire on thousands of protesters in Utah during a “No Kings” march that left one person critically injured, police said.

The terrifying incident unfolded around 8 p.m. near South State Street in Salt Lake City, sending a crowd of more than 10,000 people running for their lives as gunshots rang out, according to local reports.

The wounded victim reportedly collapsed at the chaotic scene, where he received emergency treatment, before being rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Salt Lake City police said. 

“The shooting at tonight’s protest in Salt Lake City is a deeply troubling act of violence and has no place in our public square,” Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said on X. 

“This is an active situation, and we’re working closely with law enforcement to ensure accountability.”
