CBS Hit With FCC Complaint Charging “Significant And Intentional News Distortion” Over Edited Kamala Interview

CBS News has been formally issued with an FCC complaint regarding its surreptitious editing of Kamala Harris’ 60 Minutes interview.

The complaint charges that the network engaged in “significant and intentional news distortion.”

Edited and unedited portions of the interview were shared side by side as it became clear CBS was attempting to make Harris appear less incompetent.

Fox News reports that The Center for American Rights argues that the discrepancies “amount to deliberate news distortion — a violation of FCC rules governing broadcasters’ public interest obligations.”

The complaint seeks to force CBS to release an unedited transcript of the interview to set the record straight.

Newsweek Misleads Millions With Trump-Nazi Story, Sparking Swift MAGA Backlash

A recent boat parade in Florida supporting President Donald Trump took an unexpected turn when a vessel flying Nazi flags appeared among the flotilla.

The incident, which quickly went viral on social media, has sparked debate about the true identity of the flag-bearers and the response from other parade participants.

The event, which took place off the coast of Florida, was initially reported by Newsweek with a headline suggesting that Nazi symbols were openly displayed at the Trump boat parade.

“Swastika Flags Flown During Trump Boat Parade in Florida,” the headline read.

This framing led to widespread sharing of images and videos on social media platforms, with many users quick to draw connections between the Trump supporters and Nazi ideology.

Revealed: The Israeli Spies Writing America’s News

One year after Oct. 7 attacks, Netanyahu is on a winning streak.” So reads the title of a recent Axios article describing the Israeli prime minister riding on an unbeatable wave of triumphs. These stunning military “successes,” its author Barak Ravid notes, include the bombing of Yemen, the assassinations of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and the pager attack against Lebanon.

The same author recently went viral for an article that claimed that Israeli attacks against Hezbollah are “not intended to lead to war but are an attempt to reach ‘de-escalation through escalation.’” Users on social media mocked Ravid for this bizarre, Orwellian reasoning. But what almost everybody missed is that Barak Ravid is an Israeli spy – or at least he was until recently. Ravid is a former analyst with Israeli spying agency Unit 8200, and as recently as last year, was still a reservist with the Israeli Defense Forces group.

Unit 8200 is Israel’s largest and perhaps most controversial spying organization. It has been responsible for many high-profile espionage and terror operations, including the recent pager attack that injured thousands of Lebanese civilians. As this investigation will reveal, Ravid is far from the only Israeli ex-spook working at top U.S. media outlets, working hard to manufacture Western support for his country’s actions.

White House Insider

Ravid has quickly become one of the most influential individuals in the Capitol Hill press corps. In April, he won the prestigious White House Press Correspondents’ Award “for overall excellence in White House coverage”—one of the highest awards in American journalism. Judges were impressed by what they described as his “deep, almost intimate levels of sourcing in the U.S. and abroad” and picked out six articles as exemplary pieces of journalism.

Most of these stories consisted of simply printing anonymous White House or Israeli government sources, making them look good, and distancing President Biden from the horrors of the Israeli attack on Palestine. As such, there was functionally no difference between these and White House press releases. For example, one story the judges picked out was titled “Scoop: Biden tells Bibi 3-day fighting pause could help secure release of some hostages,” and presented the 46th President of the United States as a dedicated humanitarian hellbent on reducing suffering. Another described how “frustrated” Biden was becoming with Netanyahu and the Israeli government.

Protestors had called on reporters to snub the event in solidarity with their fallen counterparts in Gaza (which, at the time of writing, comes to at least 128 journalists). Not only was there no boycott of the event, but organizers gave their highest award to an Israeli intelligence official-turned-reporter who has earned a reputation as perhaps the most dutiful stenographer of power in Washington.

Ravid was personally presented with the award by President Biden, who embraced him like a brother. That a known (former) Israeli spy could hug Biden in such a manner speaks volumes about not only the intimate relationship between the United States and Israel but about the extent to which establishment media holds power to account.

The Media Shouldn’t Overlook Kamala Harris’ Plagiarism

In 2009, Kamala Harris co-authored a book called Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor’s Plan to Make Us Safer. Its purpose was to outline her criminal justice policies in advance of her campaign for California attorney general.

The book has attracted the attention of conservative writer and activist Christopher Rufo, who contends that Harris and co-author Joan O’C. Hamilton plagiarized several passages. Rufo’s analysis—which relies on the work of Stefan Weber, a noted exposer of plagiarism—finds that there are at least 12 sections of the book in which sentences or entire paragraphs were copied from another source without proper attribution.

“Taken in total, there is certainly a breach of standards here,” writes Rufo. “Harris and her co-author duplicated long passages nearly verbatim without proper citation and without quotation marks, which is the textbook definition of plagiarism. They not only lifted material from sources without proper attribution, but in at least one case, relied on a low-quality source, which potentially undermined the accuracy of their conclusion.”

Readers may disagree about the severity of some aspects of the plagiarism: Harris borrowing from her own work or not paraphrasing sufficiently. But there are more striking examples of entire passages being lifted from other sources without citation. This is definitely a no-no, and meets the standard definition of plagiarism.

CBS Faces ‘News Distortion’ Complaint Amid ’60 Minutes’ Harris Interview Edit Scandal

The “disinformation” police are the real criminals this election, guilty of massaging, distorting, and mangling facts to fit their true agenda — stopping Donald Trump and electing Kamala Harris.

As Election Day looms, more and more Americans understand that the media outlets once trusted as objective news sources have fractured that faith with routine acts of journalistic malpractice.

Case in point, the slick editing work CBS News did in a “60 Minutes” interview earlier this month with the vice president, the Democratic Party’s replacement presidential nominee.

The Oct. 6 episode of the network’s “Face the Nation” used a clip to promote that evening’s “60 Minutes” interview with Harris in which the vice president offered her standard word salad answer to correspondent Bill Whitaker’s question about U.S. policy on Israel and the war in Gaza.

“We supply Israel with billions of dollars in military aid and yet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems to be charting his own course,” Whitaker said. “The Biden-Harris administration has pressed him to agree to a ceasefire; he’s resisted. You urged him not to go into Lebanon; he went in anyway. He has promised to make Iran pay for the missile attack, and that has the potential of expanding the war. Does the U.S. have no sway over Prime Minister Netanyahu?”

“Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region,” the Democrats’ presidential candidate responded in classic Kamala nonsense.

But that butchered bit of syntax didn’t show up in the “60 Minutes” interview that night. Instead, the segment featured a much clearer, coherent answer to the same question — what appeared to be a refined edit of a longer, meandering  response.

Joy Reid Suggests Black and Brown Men Voting For Trump Are “Fascists”

MSNBC’s Joy Reid has discovered the true reason why more black and brown men are planning to vote for Donald Trump in 2024 – they’re all secret fascists who hate women.

Yes, really.

Reid is flummoxed by polls which suggest that significantly fewer non-white Americans plan to vote for the Democratic candidate compared to previous elections.

According to an average of polls, Kamala Harris’ margin of victory among black men aged 18-44 is set to be the lowest since 1960.

Obama won that demographic in 2012 by a margin of 81 points, but Kamala is down to 41 points, a shift that could swing a tight race in Trump’s favor.

Vance Scolds ABC News Host For Saying “Only A Handful Of Apartment Complexes” Were Taken Over By Migrant Gangs

Appearing on ABC News’ This Week Sunday, Trump’s VP pick JD Vance schooled host Martha Raddatz when she attempted to argue that Trump is “exaggerating” accounts of how violent Venezuelan migrant gangs have taken over entire apartment complexes in Aurora Colorado.

“Do you support Donald Trump making those claims that the Republican mayor says were grossly exaggerated and have hurt the city’s identity and sense of safety?” Raddatz asked, referring to the situation.

She added, “The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns — a handful of problems.”

“Do you hear yourself?” Vance replied. “Only ‘a handful’ of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem? Not Kamala Harris’s open border?”

Vance further urged, “I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.”

Former CBS Staffers Call For Outside Investigation of ’60 Minutes’ Interview with Kamala Harris After They Edited Her Answer with Previous Soundbite to Make Her Sound Coherent

As previously reported, fake news ’60 Minutes’ was caught editing Kamala’s answers to make her sound coherent and normal.

Harris’s interview was so bad that ’60 Minutes’ spliced her nonsensical answer and replaced it with a completely separate sentence she said earlier in the interview.

CBS is refusing to release the unedited transcript from the ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

Here is the original 60 Minutes exchange:

Bill Whitaker: But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening?

Kamala Harris: Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.

And here is ’60 Minutes” edited exchange:

Bill Whitaker: But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening?

Kamala Harris: We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.

Kamala Harris has no clue what she’s talking about.

“60 Minutes” knows Kamala Harris is stupid which is why they edited her exchange to make her sound more coherent.

CNN Insists Gov’t NOT ‘Deliberately Steering Hurricanes’ Toward Pro-Trump Areas in ‘Plot to Steal Election’

CNN ran a segment attempting to discredit speculation that the U.S. government may have steered recent hurricanes toward “Trump-supporting communities” in a bid to sway the upcoming election.

CNN’s Kaitlin Collins explained that chatter on social media was giving rise to an “old conspiracy theory” and “lie” that the government is manipulating the weather in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton that have decimated Trump-leaning portions of Southeastern states.

“It was mostly confined to the fringe corners of the internet. The theory goes that the government controls the weather by dropping toxic chemicals from the sky in these trails that planes leave behind. It does not. Those trails are just water vapor,” Collins argued on Friday.

Kamala Harris Rushes to Accept CNN’s Debate Offer to Save Face — Trump Rejects Rigged Mainstream Circus Setup

Kamala Harris is desperately clinging to any opportunity to regain her political footing after a string of underwhelming performances.

CNN’s offer to host a second presidential debate on October 23 in Atlanta seemed like a lifeline for Harris, who quickly accepted the invitation, confident that the far-left network will shield her from tough scrutiny.

“CNN sent invitations on September 21 to both Vice President Harris and former President Trump’s campaigns to participate in a CNN debate this fall as we believe the American people would benefit from a second debate between the two candidates for President of the United States,” the far-left network said in a statement.

“With less than 30 days to Election Day, we are placing a deadline for a formal response from both campaigns for this Thursday, October 10 at 12 p.m. ET to participate,” the network added.

However, former President Donald Trump isn’t falling into CNN’s trap. He’s well aware of the network’s slanted coverage and refuses to participate in a rigged mainstream circus.

Trump’s rejection of the debate isn’t just a strategic move; it’s a stance against the very media machine that has propped up Harris and her failing campaign.

Harris, now left to fend for herself, tried to paint Trump as afraid of another face-off.

“Trump should have no problem agreeing since it is the same format and setup as the CNN debate he attended and said he won in June, when he praised CNN’s moderators, rules, and ratings,” according to Harris’ campaign.

His decision to decline isn’t just about the timing—it’s about refusing to engage with a network that has lost all credibility. CNN may have once been the gold standard of debate hosts, but under its current leadership, it’s little more than a PR firm for the Democrat Party.
