Prosecutor Claims Kyle Rittenhouse ‘Chased Down’ Joseph Rosenbaum Despite Video Showing The Opposite

Lead prosecutor Thomas Binger claimed that Kyle Rittenhouse “chased down” Joseph Rosenbaum in his opening statement on Tuesday. Binger described Rosenbaum, a convicted pedophile, as being “unarmed” when Rittenhouse shot and killed him. “This occurred after [Rittenhouse] chased down Mr. Rosenbaum and confronted him while wielding that AR-15,” Binger said.

Binger later told the jury that they would be shown video from an infrared FBI plane that would prove Rosenbaum was chased by Rittenhouse. He added that we don’t know exactly what was going on at that very moment. We don’t know what words were said,” in regards to the confrontation. Binger also admitted that Rosenbaum had antagonized several armed men on the night of the riot, even urging some to shoot him.

Video shows Rosenbaum chasing Rittenhouse moments before the shooting. He chased Rittenhouse from a nearby gas station and at one point threw a plastic bag at the teenager.  As Rittenhouse was being chased by Rosenbaum, another rioter discharged a handgun.

This was confirmed by Binger and had previously been reported by the New York Times. The shot was fired by rioter Joshua Ziminski, who has been charged with arson. Ziminski and Rosenbaum could be seen starting fires near the gas station during the riot.

The defense showed video of the interaction that revealed the opposite.

‘Squad’ Member Livid Over Rittenhouse Decision — Throws a Huge Woke Tantrum

Congresswoman and Squad member Cori Bush (D-MO) accused the judge in Kyle Rittenhouse’ trial of promoting “white supremacy” after ruling that the men shot in the incident cannot be referred to as “victims” by either the defense or prosecutors.

Judge Bruce Schroeder of the Kenosha County Circuit Court justified his decision for banning the word “victim” on grounds that it is a “loaded word.” Rittenhouse’s defense team is permitted to refer to the (all white) men he shot as “arsonist,” “looter,” or “rioter” if evidence exists to support those labels.

Responding to news of the decision, Bush labelled Rittenhouse as being a “white supremacist,” and said that the ruling was proof of “how deeply rooted white supremacy is.” She added that the “injustice system [doesn’t] value Black lives,” and hailed those who were shot as “victims” who stood up for Black lives. She seemed to indicate that the individuals who were shot should be proud to consider themselves rioters, looters, and arsonists.

Facebook employee said censorship colleagues were “drunk on power”

A Facebook data scientist accused fellow employees of being “drunk on power” for censoring posts supporting Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who killed two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at the height of last summer’s riots.

The data scientist said some of the censored posts did not violate the platform’s policies as they were discussing whether Rittenhouse was being treated fairly and if he was acting in self-defense. Rittenhouse’s official stance at trial will be self-defense.

Facebook removed many posts supporting Rittenhouse because its policies prohibit the praising of “mass shootings” and “mass shooters.”

In Facebook internal discussions, obtained by the New York Post, most employees agreed with the censorship of pro-Rittenhouse posts. However, one employee, a data scientist, disagreed.

Kyle Rittenhouse’s Trial Reveals Government’s Plan To Unleash “Thought Crimes” In Our Courts

More than a year has passed, but Kyle Rittenhouse still isn’t home free. The Illinois teenager is still in danger of spending the rest of his life in prison, if convicted on two homicide charges brought by the state of Wisconsin.

In a Friday court hearing, prosecutors revealed their strategy for putting Rittenhouse away forever: Tar him as a thought criminal.

Prosecutors in the Rittenhouse case asked the judge allow them to admit evidence of Rittenhouse’s meetings with members of the Proud Boys — including photos taken at a Mount Pleasant tavern showing him posing with members of the group, a right-wing organization that has been involved in violent protests and counter protests round the United States.

At the hearing, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger said that the state has since learned that the men Rittenhouse met for lunch at the Pudgy’s tavern just off Highway 20 were leaders of the Proud Boys in Wisconsin. Binger said Rittenhouse also met in Miami with the national leaders of the Proud Boys. [Kenosha News]

The government’s strategy to destroy Kyle Rittenhouse’s life doesn’t just matter for his own case. It matters because these same strategies will be used to systematically strip the right to a fair trial from any American targeted by the ruling regime.

A few core facts, to jog your memory: On August 23 of the Summer of Floyd, Kenosha police shot Jacob Blake as he resisted arrest and attempted to drive away with children the police believed he was kidnapping. Though Blake survived, Kenosha erupted into “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” that left the downtown scorched.

NBC News Misrepresents Internal DHS Memo About Their Response to the Kyle Rittenhouse Case

NBC News misrepresented an internal memo given to Department of Homeland Security officials that was meant to brief them on the Kyle Rittenhouse situation the week it occurred in August.

NBC News reported “officials were directed to make public comments sympathetic” about Rittenhouse and it included quotes from the document:

“Federal law enforcement officials were directed to make public comments sympathetic to Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager charged with fatally shooting two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, according to internal Department of Homeland Security talking points obtained by NBC News.

“In preparing Homeland Security officials for questions about Rittenhouse from the media, the document suggests that they note that he ‘took his rifle to the scene of the rioting to help defend small business owners.’

“The Rittenhouse talking points also say, ‘Kyle was seen being chased and attacked by rioters before allegedly shooting three of them, killing two.’

‘Subsequent video has emerged reportedly showing that there were ‘multiple gunmen’ involved, which would lend more credence to the self-defense claims.'”

Townhall has obtained the DHS memo and it is different from how NBC News described it. There are two sections of the memo, “Situation” and “Response,” a fact not included in their story.

Facebook Declares Kyle Rittenhouse’s Actions ‘Mass Murder,’ Won’t Allow Posts in Support

Facebook is officially designating the actions of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who allegedly killed two people and wounded another in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after being mobbed and attacked by rioters, a “mass murder,” despite the fact that this has not been proven in court. Facebook confirmed that it would remove any posts that support Rittenhouse.

Conservative author and YouTube personality Mark Dice reported that his Facebook page had received a threat of suspension after he posted a video of Rittenhouse offering to give medical assistance to wounded protesters in Kenosha shortly before the shooting.

“Facebook just removed a video I posted showing Kyle Rittenhouse offering help to a wounded protester in Kenosha,” said Dice, who also posted the video on Twitter.

Facebook, he said, is now “threatening to delete my entire account.”

In a comment to Breitbart News, a Facebook spokesman confirmed that the company is removing posts “in support” of Rittenhouse, because the incident is considered a “mass murder” by the company.

“We’ve designated the shooting in Kenosha a mass murder and are removing posts in support of the shooter, including this one,” said the spokesman.
