Trump Suggests Bold Move Regarding 1/6 Defendants After Biden Pardons Son Hunter on Gun, Tax Crimes

In a dramatic political response to President Joe Biden’s unexpected pardon of his son Hunter, President-elect Donald Trump has raised questions about potential pardons for January 6 defendants, highlighting the ongoing tensions surrounding recent legal developments.

Trump took to social media Sunday night to challenge the presidential pardon, asking whether Biden’s clemency for Hunter would extend to those arrested during the January 6 Capitol protests.

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!” Trump wrote.

Fox News commentator Charlie Hurt also made the linkage.

“I think he should at least commute the sentences of all of them and pardoned every single one that was obviously just following the person in front of them wandering through the capital,” Hurt recently said, as outlined by Mediaite.

Trump Slams Biden’s Corruption After Hunter Pardon: ‘Such an Abuse and Miscarriage of Justice!’

On Sunday, outgoing White House resident Joe Biden issued a full and unconditional pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, absolving him of any federal crimes committed between 2014 and 2024.

Hunter Biden’s pardon comes in the wake of convictions for felony gun charges and a guilty plea to tax evasion. The younger Biden’s legal troubles have long been the focal point of Republican scrutiny, with allegations of influence-peddling, bribery, and shady dealings involving foreign entities like Ukrainian energy firm Burisma.

According to Newsweek, Hunter Biden was supposed to be sentenced on December 12 in Delaware for three felonies related to purchasing a gun while using drugs in October 2018. He could face up to 25 years in prison.

On December 16, Biden will be sentenced in Los Angeles for federal tax-related charges after pleading guilty in September. He faces up to 17 years in prison for tax offenses.

The indictment alleges that Biden engaged in a four-year scheme, failing to pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes from 2016 to 2019.

With one stroke of his pen, Joe Biden has erased the legal consequences for his son’s actions while doubling down on claims that the justice system has been politically weaponized—against Hunter, no less.

In a public statement, Biden sought to defend his decision, claiming Hunter was “unfairly prosecuted” due to political motivations.

The President framed his actions as those of a father protecting his son from what he called “raw politics” infecting the justice system.

CNN Correspondent Says the Quiet Part Out Loud – Admits Hunter Was Pardoned Out of Fear His Family Would Be Investigated by Trump

Jeff Zeleny, Chief National Affairs Correspondent from CNN, said the quiet part out loud on Sunday night after news broke that Joe Biden had granted Hunter Biden a blanket pardon for any criminal acts he partook in from 2014 to present including, trading influence for cash, trafficking prostitutes, and taking on the role of the Biden Family bagman.

Jeff Zeleny: We were told that this came to a head this weekend, and this is why President Biden decided now to do this. But as Isaac was just saying, that really is a sense of the conversation that has been going on really inside the family.

I’m told this has been very much a family discussion and something that has been not widely shared or discussed as a policy matter inside the West Wing.

But there was a worry of future prosecutions or future the potential of what the incoming Trump Justice Department could do.

So that, of course, is fretted in all of this as well.

But for now, this moment, this certainly is a decision that President Biden, I’m guessing, did not come too easily. But as you played that statement before, so much has changed since June when he told David Muir of ABC News that he would not do that.

Of course, his station in life has changed. Did not complete his campaign. So that is why, leading up to this, that’s why I’m told a decision was reached finally this weekend after spending time together in Nantucket.

Speculation Rages That Biden Pardoned Hunter to Protect Himself

People responded to President Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter Biden by speculating that Hunter had threatened to divulge sensitive information about his own father if his sentences were not commuted.

After repeatedly denying that he would pardon his son for gun and tax evasion convictions, Biden did a 180 and announced Hunter Biden would be pardoned.

“There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution,” Biden wrote in a statement.

“In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough,” he added.

However, as soon the news was announced, speculation raged as to what made Biden change his mind.

The Madness of King Joe: The Second Anti-Trump Insurrection Is Now Underway

There’s a curious story in the Book of Daniel about a “mad king.” Widely considered to be Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon, this poor, suffering despot destroyed Jerusalem, bragged that he “finally beat Medicare,” and then went bats**t crazy for seven years. (Well, one of those anecdotes is untrue.)

Daniel 4:33 detailed how Nebuchadnezzar II went so cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, he “ate grass like an ox” — ironclad proof, of course, that God Almighty says only lunatics are vegetarians.

Fortunately, after seven long years, Nebuchadnezzar II (his friends called him Nebby) had his sanity restored. Instead of eating grass, he went back to eating porkchops, or whatever. A happy ending: Ol’ Nebby was better than ever!

And he never ate a salad again. (I assume.)

But the greater historical record is largely devoid of loony-tune leaders. Sure, there was the much-ballyhooed “madness” of King George III, and numerous kings, queens, and emperors who were renowned for their various eccentricities. But out-and-out senile or clear-cut crazy?

Not very often.

Mostly because senile, crazy leaders tended to be “removed” before they went too senile or got too crazy.

It’s called regicide: The murder of royalty. In fact, our constitutional precept of presidential impeachment directly stems from regicide. Since it was our Creator — and not the state — that endowed us with “certain unalienable rights,” we therefore have a God-given right to wage war and depose monarchs who’d deprive us of these rights. As Ben Franklin pointed out, impeachment was certainly preferable to regicide, which rendered the ex-ruler “not only deprived of his life but of the opportunity of vindicating his character.”

HBO’s “Game of Thrones” might’ve botched the landing, but its general conceit was correct: Claiming a throne requires luck, skill, and the happenstance of birth, but keeping the throne takes intelligence, shrewdness, and strategic planning.

An unworthy monarch is not long for the world.

LIAR: Biden Goes Back on His Word, Pardons Idiot Son, Hunter Biden

He promised he wouldn’t do it. He swore up and down that it would never happen.

But then again, he also said that Trump was Hitler, Americans were garbage, and MAGA was an existential threat to democracy. (Also, he’s “sharp as a tack.”)

Another day, another Biden lie: It was announced on Sunday evening that President Biden would go back on his word and issue a full, unconditional pardon to his idiot kid, Hunter Biden. In his words:

I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice — and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.

But that’s not what Joe Biden told us before.

“With regards to the question regarding my family,” President Biden said in June, “I’m extremely proud of my son, Hunter. He has overcome an addiction. He has. He’s one of the brightest, most decent men I know. And I am satisfied that I’m not going to do anything. I said, I said I’d abide by the jury decision. I will do that, and I will not pardon him.” [emphasis added]

In fact, President Biden piously told ABC’s David Muir (who proved his own impartiality two months later in that ridiculous three-on-one ABC News presidential “debate”) that the Democrats’ acceptance of America’s unassailable, apolitical legal system is what differentiates him from the scary Orange Monster: Democrats believe in the rule of law. Republicans don’t.

“[Trump]’s trying to undermine it,” Biden declared. “He got a fair trial. The jury spoke.”

Throughout 2024, the message was consistent: Absolutely no pardon for Hunter Biden. Not now, not ever. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly told the media, “I’ve been very clear; the president is not going to pardon his son.”

Even after Hunter Biden was convicted — but before the election in November — the president was steadfast: “I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the juridical process as Hunter considers an appeal.”

And not just Joe Biden: “Doctor” Jill Biden said it, too. “Joe and I both respect the judicial system, and that’s the bottom line.”

Do We Still Have to Pretend the 2020 Election Was ‘Free and Fair’?

The 2020 Presidential election shared a problem with the 1998 MLB home run race: the winning candidate did too well. In 1998, steroid juicer Mark McGwire broke Roger Maris’s home run record by nine home runs or roughly 15 percent.

In 2020, Joe Biden’s 81 million votes broke Barack Obama’s 2008 record 69 million votes by 12 million votes or roughly 17 percent. Obama’s 2008 numbers were anomalous. Hillary Clinton’s 2016 numbers were closer to the norm, and Biden got nearly 25 percent more votes than she did, a cool 16 million additional votes when finally counted.

Campaigning from his basement, this cognitively-challenged, charisma-free codger did much too well in 2020, and now even the Left is noticing. With virtually all the 2024 presidential election votes counted, Kamala Harris’s vote total remains roughly seven million votes shy of Biden’s ballot box-busting performance in 2020.

In trying to explain the differential, Michael Bender of the New York Times hinted at the truth. Wrote Bender, “[S]ome backsliding could be expected after the record turnout in 2020, which was aided by pandemic rule changes that increased mail voting.” You think?

As should be expected, Bender chose not to pursue this line of thinking to its natural end. If he had, he might have asked why only the Democrats seemed to have been aided in 2020 “by pandemic rule changes.” President-elect Donald Trump did not “backslide” in 2024. He upped his 2020 vote total by about two million.

In 2024, with life back to something like normal, Harris was denied the performance-enhancing juice that propelled Biden in 2020. That juice was formidable. The convenient arrival of COVID gave the Democrats a rationale for dismantling the safeguards against voter fraud in state after state.

Some 39 states changed their election laws prior to the 2020 election. That was unprecedented. What was unconstitutional was that many of them did so without legislative approval. In several states, the courts, electoral officials, and health honchos exploited the media-driven COVID panic to assume this right for themselves. The Republicans responded with lawsuits, but the courts could not or would not respond in a timely fashion.

Explosive Report Exposes Biden-Harris Regime Weaponizes Dept. of Education Against Christian Colleges and Universities

The Biden-Harris regime has turned the Department of Education (DOE) into a battering ram against Christian colleges and universities.

According to an explosive report by the American Principles Project (APP), the DOE’s Office of Enforcement, resurrected by President Biden, has disproportionately targeted faith-based institutions, imposing massive fines and creating a hostile regulatory environment.

According to the report:

Days before his inauguration then President-elect Joe Biden wrote in a statement that “ensuring freedom of religion remains as important as ever” and that government must safeguard “bedrock protections.” No one should be “afraid to attend a religious service, school, or community center,” the statement asserts.

That statement is not representative of what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris actually believe. Since assuming office, the administration has waged an unprecedented assault against Christian colleges, universities, and students, while systematically protecting “elite” public and private institutions, foisting woke ideology on reluctant students, and enabling antisemitic, violent protests on campuses across the nation.

It’s done so by weaponizing the Department of Education’s Office of Enforcement—an obscure subsidiary of the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) that was created with the implicit intent of shutting down schools and programs that do not conform to the administration’s radical agenda.

This campaign, which has been advanced under the auspices of protecting students from “predatory” colleges and universities, threatens to erode traditional family values from higher education and financially squeeze and shut down schools that align with Christians’ values and beliefs.

Data analysis from the American Principles Project reveals that nearly 70% of enforcement actions by the Department of Education targeted faith-based or career-focused schools, which represent less than 10% of the student population.

Institutions like Grand Canyon University (GCU) and Liberty University—two of the country’s largest Christian universities—faced record-setting fines of $37.7 million and $14 million, respectively.

Biden DOJ Seeks To Gag Texas Doctor Who Blew Whistle On Child Trans Surgeries

Federal prosecutors seek to silence Eithan Haim and his attorneys after they exposed major problems in the Biden Administration’s criminal targeting of the Dallas surgeon who blew the whistle on the mutilation of minors.

Last week, federal prosecutors filed a Motion to Gag both Dr. Haim and the lawyers defending him against criminal charges the Department of Justice filed against the Texas physician in May 2024. The Biden Administration indicted Dr. Haim on spurious grounds after he leaked evidence a year earlier to journalist Christopher Rufo that the Texas Children’s Hospital was removing the healthy breasts and genitals of children.

Currently, Dr. Haim faces five criminal counts of violating the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, brought by a Second Superseding Indictment. Federal prosecutors filed a Second Superseding Indictment after the first two indictments against Haim included glaring mistakes — ones Haim and his counsel pointed out in various X posts.

Those posts caught the ire of the Department of Justice, with the federal prosecutors arguing in their Motion to Gag  that the posts on X “could interfere with a fair trial or otherwise prejudice the Government or the administration of justice because they discuss and characterize the substance of pretrial proceedings that would ordinarily be excluded from consideration by the jury, and disparage the prosecutors and the case in inflammatory language.”

To support the motion, government lawyers filed two exhibits, including various threads posted on X, but inexplicably filed the materials under seal even though the posts appeared on the social media platform. That prompted the should-be-satirical-but-isn’t news aggregator, Not the Bee, to file a Motion to Intervene and Motion to Unseal. In addition to the two sealed exhibits of X posts, Not the Bee also sought the unsealing of two other court filings, one providing notice of an intent to seek a Second Superseding Indictment and the second related to the withdrawal of an Assistant U.S. Attorney from the case.

Long-time federal judge David Hittner, a Ronald Reagan appointee, denied Not the Bee’s Motion to Intervene, but granted its motion to unseal the filings, revealing the supposedly disparaging and inflammatory language prosecutors claim supports a gag order.

A review of the various posts, however, shows Dr. Haim and his lawyer merely reiterating the same legal points made in briefing and argument before the court.

Biden Asks Congress To Authorize $24BN More To Spend On Ukraine

The Biden administration has asked Congress to approve $24 billion in additional spending on Ukraine as it’s working to ramp up the proxy war as much as possible during President Biden’s final weeks in office.

POLITICO Pro obtained a request from the White House’s Office of Management and Budget that asked Congress to include additional Ukraine spending in a continuing resolution that’s expected to be voted on next month. Two congressional aides said Congress received the proposal on Monday.

The request asks for $8 billion for the Ukraine Security Assistance initiative, a form of military aid that allows the US to purchase weapons for Ukraine, and $16 billion to replace US military equipment that’s been sent to Ukraine.

The money to replenish US weapons would allow the Biden administration to use the remaining Presidential Drawdown Authority for Ukraine, which allows the US to ship weapons directly from US military stockpiles. The administration is looking to rush arms shipments to Ukraine throughout the rest of the transition period.

If Congress agrees to the request, it would bring total US spending on the proxy war, according to publicly available data, to about $210 billion.

Earlier this year, President Biden signed a foreign military aid bill into law that included $61 billion for Ukraine. Before that, the US spent at least $125 billion on the conflict.

US officials have told The Washington Post that the Biden administration is trying to put Ukraine in the best position possible before President-elect Donald Trump might push for an end to the war.

US officials acknowledged that within a few months, Ukraine could be pushed into negotiations and could end up ceding territory. “Biden’s reversal of his previous policies on mines and missiles was intended in part to give Ukraine the strongest possible hand as it enters those potential talks,” The Washington Post wrote.
