Oversight Committee Member Calls For More Subpoenas As Biden Aides Lawyer Up

Playtime is over.

The New York Times’ latest piece attempting to help former President Joe Biden and his administration off the hook in the growing autopen scandal is having the opposite effect. If anything, the Biden apologists raised a lot more questions about just who was in control of the White House — and the thousands of presidential clemency decisions issued in the waning days of Biden’s disastrous term.

The newspaper’s veiled attempt to publicly exonerate the cognitively compromised former president and his staff from a three-front investigation also raises the urgency for answers under oath. The reporters’ 10-minute phone interview with Biden in which he dubiously claims to have “made every decision” on his record-smashing 4,245 acts of clemency (the vast majority in the closing months of his term), despite emails showing multiple pardons were granted via autopen without the president’s approval. Interestingly, the Times’ piece notes that the only clemency warrant that Biden signed with his own hand in late 2024 was the preemptive full pardon he granted his corrupt son, Hunter Biden.

Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, said he wants to see more heat on the people who reportedly were in the White House rooms when the decisions were apparently made.

“Obviously, things were so unusual at the end [of Biden’s presidential term] that it mandates further investigation,” he told The Federalist on Monday. Grothman added that more committee-issued subpoenas should be part of that intensified “package” of committee actions.

‘The Guy’s Brain Is Mush’: Joe Biden’s Quotes in NYT Interview Deemed ‘Unintelligible’

Former President Joe Biden’s (D) ability to process and respond to information is once again being called into question after an interview with the New York Times (NYT).

Biden spoke with the newspaper over the phone on Thursday and was questioned about clemency actions he took as his time in the White House drew to a close, the Times reported on Sunday.

“Mr. Biden did not personally sign the official warrants recording those decisions; rather his White House staff used an autopen device to do so,” the article said.

The newspaper then shared excerpts from the interview.

Regarding allegations from President Trump and others that “Biden was incapacitated and his aides abused the autopen” the former president claimed:

They’re liars. They know it. They know, for certain. I mean, this is — look, what they, they’ve had a pretty good thing going here. They’ve done so badly. They’ve lied so consistently about almost everything they’re doing. The best thing they can do is try to change the focus and focus on something else. And this is a — I think that’s what this is about.

It’s — you know — it’s consistent with Trump’s game plan all along. I mean, if I — I don’t expect you to answer any questions — but if I told you three years ago, we’d have a president doing this, I think you’d look at me in the eye and say, “What, are you crazy?”

About the pre-emptive pardons he bestowed on his own family members, he said, “In terms of my fam — he — go after me through my family. I know how vindictive he is.”

Those quotes are from “excerpts” of the interview published by the Times.

BIDEN AUTOPEN SCANDAL: NY Times Confirms Biden Did Not Sign Off on All Pardons – WH Chief of Staff Zeints Approved Fauci’s Pardon

The Biden Autopen Scandal just got worse.

The Oversight Project broke the story about the Biden autopen scandal wide open after they discovered thousands of acts of clemency and executive actions were signed with an autopen rather than a wet signature.

Earlier this year, the Oversight Project revealed six criminals were pardoned by Biden’s autopen on December 30, 2022, while Joe Biden was vacationing and golfing in St. Croix.

Joe Biden defended the use of an autopen in a quick interview with the New York Times.

The New York Times also reviewed some of the emails that the National Archives handed over to the Trump DOJ as part of their investigation into the autopen scandal.

The emails revealed that Biden’s staffers made decisions to sign the pardons with the autopen without directly hearing the orders from Joe Biden.

Joe Biden told the New York Times that he “orally granted all the pardons and commutations issued at the end of his term” and lashed out at President Trump as a “liar” for claiming the autopen was used without his authorization.

“I made every decision,” Biden insisted during his phone interview with The Times.

According to The Times, staff secretary, Stefanie Feldman, put the clemency records through the autopen.

It was revealed that Joe Biden did not approve of each name for the pardons – AND after changes were made about the specific inmates, Biden did NOT sign off on the revised list. Rather, his aides just ran the final version through the autopen without Biden’s approval.

FBI opens ‘grand conspiracy’ probe on weaponization, opening door to special prosecutor

The FBI has quietly launched an investigation into a decade of Democratic party and deep-state antics from Russia collusion to Jack Smith, opening the door for the appointment of a special prosecutor to examine whether the well-documented episodes amount to a criminal conspiracy to meddle in three U.S. elections to the benefit of Democrats and the detriment of President Donald Trump, Just the News has learned.

The “grand conspiracy” case was opened several weeks ago after new FBI Director Kash Patel took over, and it could get a significant boost if Trump were to declassify two secret tranches of evidence that identify a potential ignition point to the alleged conspiracy in the summer of 2016, according to several people directly familiar with the inquiry, who spoke to Just the News on a condition of anonymity.

The first piece of evidence is a classified annex to a years-old inspector general probe of Hillary Clinton’s improper email server sought by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley. That annex is believed to show that credible information about possible wrongdoing was intentionally ignored by the FBI.

The second tranche of evidence was identified by former Russiagate Special Counsel John Durham in his final report. The evidence was dubbed in the report as the “Clinton plan intelligence,” and it was also placed in a classified annex kept from the American public and even many members of Congress.

Excerpts from the publicly-available and unclassified Durham report show that U.S. spy agencies were aware that Clinton’s 2016 campaign was concocting a bogus Russia collusion narrative to harm Trump’s election chances before the FBI opened its now-discredited Crossfire Hurricane probe, in part using evidence created by the Clinton campaign or offered by Clinton associates.

Both pieces of evidence have remained sealed from public view for nearly a decade and are highly classified because they reveal sensitive intelligence-gathering methods, officials said.

The FBI declined comment.

Former Biden, Obama spokespersons cash in on Gaza genocide

A mercenary firm implicated in severe abuses in Gaza has hired a PR firm led by influential former Democrat flacks, including the spokeswoman for Biden’s Pentagon.

Meanwhile, a former State Dept spokesman who defended Israel’s crimes is now VP at a Democrat PR firm representing Israel’s Foreign Ministry.

Editor’s note: After The Grayzone published a report revealing damning new footage showing mercenaries from the UG Solutions firm firing toward crowds of desperate aid seekers in the southern Gaza Strip, the company deleted its entire press page. (The previously unreported footage had been inexplicably distributed to the media by UG Solutions itself).

Two days later, thanks to the sleuthing of journalist Jack Poulson, we learned that UG Solutions’ new press page was created by Seven Letter, a PR management firm operated by former Obama and Biden communications officials. Among those hired by Seven Letter was Sabrina Singh, the former Pentagon spokeswoman who routinely spun Israel’s crimes.

Seven Letters’ Gaza profiteering follows the high-level contract Israel’s Foreign Ministry signed with a top PR firm run by Biden veterans called SKDK. Among SKDK’s top recent hires was Vedant Patel, the former spokesman for the Biden State Department who was notorious for his absurd denials of documented Israeli crimes across occupied Palestine.

In addition to Israel’s Foreign Ministry, SKDK represents the 10/7 Project, a consortium of Jewish organizations which attacks reporters who fail to toe Israel’s line on Gaza.

Biden Judge to Block Trump DHS From Carrying Out Raids at Home Depots, Car Washes – Prevent Agents From Relying on Race, Type of Work When Making Arrests

A federal judge has written a tentative decision that sides with the anti-American ACLU’s plaintiffs and will block Trump’s Department of Homeland Security agents from raiding Home Depots, car washes and other places in the Los Angeles area (7 counties in the Central District of California) unless they have reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration laws.

According to Fox News, US District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a Biden appointee, has written a tentative decision and it is still subject to change.

The judge wrote her tentative ruling as leftists attack ICE agents during an immigration raid at a cannabis farm in Camarillo, California.

Judge Frimpong will issue her ruling tomorrow.

Per Fox News reporter Bill Melugin:

Sources who have reviewed Judge Frimpong’s tentative decision tell us her order will block ICE and Border Patrol from relying on race, Spanish speaking, location, and type of work when making immigration arrests.

Additionally, DHS will be blocked from conducting stops of suspected illegal immigrants unless the agent has a reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration law.

The ACLU and a handful of plaintiffs sued the Trump administration, alleging they were doing “deportation dragnets” in LA by making mass arrests that were based only on skin color and race.

The Trump administration DOJ denies this, saying all arrests are in accordance with the law and are based on the totality of the circumstances, including surveillance, intelligence, and locations where illegal immigrants are known to work or be hired.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett Says She “Never had a Concern About” Biden’s Mental Acuity, Says She’s Concerned About Trump’s Mental Acuity

Far-left Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) told reporters on Wednesday that she is concerned about Trump’s mental acuity and ability to lead, but she “never had a concern” whatsoever about Biden’s health and mental acuity.

She also defended Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, for refusing to testify before the Oversight Committee and pleading the Fifth Amendment.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, O’Connor was subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee to testify on Joe Biden’s health decline. However, he pleaded the Fifth at his deposition on Wednesday after attempting to stall the deposition.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer responded to the doctor’s refusal to testify, stating, “It’s now clear there was a conspiracy to cover up President Biden’s cognitive decline after Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician and family business associate, refused to answer any questions and chose to hide behind the Fifth Amendment.”

But Jasmine Crockett defended his right to continue hiding the truth about Biden’s condition by pleading the Fifth, saying, “I think that he did what any good lawyer would advise him to do.”

She further attacked President Trump’s mental acuity, stating, “people have concerns about the current occupant in the White House and whether or not he is mentally fit to serve in this moment, in a moment in which he has started random tariff wars, in a moment in which he decided to say that we were being invaded by Venezuelans.”

Aides Panicked, Changed Biden’s Number After He Unknowingly Answered Reporter’s Call Then Started Answering Questions: New Book

Despite being out of office, former President Joe Biden’s aides are keeping a close watch on the former president and who he communicates with.

On Tuesday, Axios wrote about “2024,” a new book from reporters Josh Dawsey, Tyler Page, and Isaac Arnsdorf, who worked together at the Washington Post during last year’s presidential campaign.

As the title indicates, this book is about President Donald Trump’s campaign and subsequently victory to retake the White House, running first against Biden then former Vice President Kamala Harris.

Axios highlighted one especially sad, yet hilarious, moment that demonstrates just how lucky the American people are that we did not get a second Biden term and illustrates the extent of his lack of authority over his own decisions.

Pager called Biden on March 25 — two months after he left office — after having obtained his personal cell number.

“Biden said he would be willing to speak for this book the next day,” the authors wrote. “The next morning, he answered and said he was running late to catch a train. He said he had a ‘very negative’ view of Trump’s second term. … ‘I don’t see anything he’s done that’s been productive,’ he said.”

After saying he did not dwell on if he regretted dropping out of the race, Biden hung up the call.

Pager then received texts and calls from Biden’s aides, who were not happy: “After the first call,” the aides, “repeatedly called and texted [Pager]. After the brief second call, his aides blocked the reporter‘s calls to the former president,” the book continued.

“Two days later, a message from Verizon Wireless replaced Biden’s voicemail: ‘The number you dialed has been changed, disconnected, or is no longer in service.’”

Even post-presidency, Biden does not make his own decisions, his aides do.

Biden Doctor’s Refusal To Answer A Single Question Blows Up The ‘Doctor-Patient Privilege’ Excuse

Joe Biden’s White House doctor refused to answer a single question during a congressional interview on Wednesday, raising more concerns about efforts to conceal the former president’s decline while in office.

According to House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., Biden physician Kevin O’Connor pled the Fifth at his previously scheduled deposition with House lawmakers. The revelation came a day after the Trump administration waived executive privilege for O’Connor to sit down with members of the committee for the transcribed interview.

According to a House Oversight Committee official, O’Connor did not simply plead the Fifth on questions related to doctor-patient privilege, but on any and all prospective queries posed by lawmakers.

“The American people demand transparency, but Dr. O’Connor would rather conceal the truth,” Comer said in a statement. “Dr. O’Connor took the Fifth when asked if he was told to lie about President Biden’s health and whether he was fit to be President of the United States. Congress must assess legislative solutions to prevent such a coverup from happening again.”

What Is He Trying to Hide? Biden Doctor Desperately Trying to Stall Key Hearing, Cites Confidentiality

Former President Joe Biden’s White House physician is attempting to delay his testimony before Congress, citing concerns about the scope of lawmakers’ questions, sparking speculation that he is stalling for time.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who served as Biden’s physician during his presidential term, asked the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Saturday to “postpone his scheduled testimony over disagreements on the scope of the questions,” The Hill reported.

O’Connor is presently slated to give a deposition on Wednesday, as part of the committee’s investigation into Biden’s mental capacity, as well as his use of an autopen to sign legislation, orders, and pardons.

David Schertler, a lawyer for O’Connor, reportedly sent a letter to Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky — who chairs to committee — asking to postpone the start of the hearing to July 28.

In the letter, Schertler cited doctor-patient confidentiality as the main issue and said Republican lawmakers haven’t established what can — and cannot — be asked.

A committee representative accused O’Connor of trying to “stonewall” Congress, in comments made to NBC News.

Doctor-patient privilege is sacrosanct. Privacy should be expected and protected.

In Biden’s case, however, we’re talking about the leader of the free world. Divulging certain aspects of your life comes with the territory.
